Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of a circular letter from the Minister of Education and Culture regarding the implementation of education policies during the spread of COVID-19, making face-to-face learning in schools stopped and switching to online learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the online learning practices applied by the teacher in thematic learning of MI AU students in Bogor Regency, as well as to determine students' interest in online thematic learning. The object of this research was 65 people, both men and women. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire in which the researcher arranged questions related to students' interest in online thematic learning. Furthermore, the questionnaire data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of research on students' interest in online-based thematic learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at MI AU showed student interest with a percentage of 76.22% of the 22 statement items given to students through a questionnaire. The learning practice uses the WhatsApp group application because the application is easy to use by parents. Thus, students' interest in online-based thematic learning shows a very high interest.

Abstract

Teacher is a professional position or profession. As a teacher, one of the competencies needed is professional competence. This study aims to look at the profile or educational background of MI teachers in the city of Palangka Raya. This research is important for the PGMI Study Program because it is the initial data for mapping the educational background of teachers in MIN Palangka Raya so that it can be the initial basis for collaboration between the Ministry of Religion of Central Kalimantan Province and PGMI Study Program related to increasing qualifications or procurement of educators in MIN Palangka Raya. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews with the head of the state Islamic madrasah in Palangka Raya. The results obtained are that the latest education is appropriate with the work as a class teacher obtained a percentage of 36.36% of class teachers with educational backgrounds or the latest bachelor's degree in Islamic primary school or elementary school teacher education.

Abstract

Having a noble character and being responsible is one of the goals of national education as stated in the law. However, in reality the unfavorable behavior displayed by students when they are at school or at home is a problem for teachers and even parents. This study intends to explore children's behavior through the question of whether there are differences in students who have high, medium, and low scores in the Akidah Akhlak Subject on their daily behavior at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri II Kab. Banjar. The research method is descriptive qualitative by taking samples of grade IV and V students in the first semester who have received high, medium, and low scores in the Akidah Akhlak Subject and then taking 20% of the two classes randomly. Data collection techniques with documentation, observation and distributing questionnaires to students. The data analysis technique uses reduction and conclusion. The results show that there are differences in the behavior of students who have high, medium, and low scores in the Akhlak Akidah Subjects. These behaviors appear in the politeness aspect towards the teacher, then in the aspect of getting along with friends.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulty of learning to read on the learning outcomes of students at SDN Bangsa Negara East OKU regarding the Health Is Important Theme in the Sub-theme of My Healthy Blood Circulation. This study uses a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were the fifth-grade teachers and students at the SDN Bangsa Negara East OKU. Data was obtained by observation, interviews, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and verification. The validity of the data was obtained through technical triangulation. The results of this study indicate that there are still many students who have reading difficulties. The problem of reading difficulties in SDN Bangsa Negara is also related to the lack of supporting facilities for learning, the inaccessibility of learning, material problems, motivation problems, concentration problems, learning problems when the children are not ready for the learning process or refuse to learn, so the teacher's efforts in this regard are by providing additional hours and use of varied and interesting media, paying attention to student development, motivating students who have reading difficulty in class to learn, always training and trying to learn to read for students who are still lacking fluency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe classroom management in creating effective learning including the planning of classroom management, the implementation of classroom management, and the supervision of classroom management at MIS Al-Ashriyah. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, data collection using observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that planning of classroom management is carried out by making learning implementation plans, preparing the necessary learning media, and always establishing good communication with parents and guardians of students. The implementation of management is carried out with the expertise of the teacher in the classroom, starting from the attitude of the teacher who is calm, friendly, and smiling, always greeting and greeting when entering the class. At the beginning of each lesson, always pray together and recite the Qur'an which is led directly by the teacher, then the teacher makes the class atmosphere comfortable and safe, followed by student arrangements starting from checking student attendance lists, picket class cleanliness, as well as assessing and appreciating students. Learning support facilities are also provided, such as a reading corner, the provision of plastic folders used to store a collection of assignments and grades, and a drawer where learning tools are stored, managing the implementation of learning by compiling based on student circumstances, delivering easy-to-understand material, while supervision is carried out by class teachers and principals which is carried out continuously or continuously.

Abstract

The current situation due to the covid-19 pandemic has forced all parties with various considerations to issue a policy. One of them is closing schools by replacing face-to-face with online learning. The purpose of the study was to determine whatsapp-based online learning in Social Studies subjects Class V at MIN 9 Hulu Sungai Selatan as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of learning. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and documentation. Furthermore, it was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that whatsapp-based online learning in social studies subject class V at MIN 9 Hulu Sungai Selatan has been running smoothly, it can be seen through the planning, implementation and evaluation stages of learning. Planning with the teacher to make an appropriate lesson plan. The implementation of learning begins with preliminary, core and closing activities. Learning evaluation is carried out through post-test either with assignments or tests. Supporting factors are efficient quotas, mastery of teacher technology and coordination of teachers and parents. The inhibiting factors for the unstable internet network, limited mastery of technology owned by parents, the difficulty of controlling in following lessons make teachers less aware of which students already understand and do not understand.

Abstract

The educational environment can be in the form of physical or psychological, which is related to the life of the child, including the family, school and community environment, which must be fostered in a conducively, to make noble educational goals. This study aims to show the development of an educational environment with Islāmic nuances for common or Islāmic elementary school children. For this reason, this research a type library research, whose data sources are taken from the texts of the Qur’an and al-Hadith, books, and journals about Islamic education. While the data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study illustrate that fostering an Islāmic educational environment for common or Islāmic elementary school children in the family environment must cultivate an Islāmic life, starting from eating, drinking, talking, dressing, decorating the house, using social media and others. At school, an Islāmic atmosphere is created, there is a prayer room, congregational prayers, Ramadan Islāmic boarding schools, reading Qur'an, congregational Zuhr prayers, donations for orphans, Friday alms, and commemoration of Islāmic holidays. In the community, mosques were built with congregational prayers, Friday prayers, tarawih prayers, eclipse prayers, Qur'an education, learning together with Shaikh, receiving and distributing Zakat, and commemorating major Islāmic holidays, and the community also maintained morals of children, thus causing disobedience

Abstract

The goal of this study was to help fourth-grade children improve their critical thinking skills. This is a Classroom Action Research project. The study was divided into two cycles, each of which included planning, action, observation, and reflection. Muhammadiyah Notoprajan Elementary School fourth grade pupils were used as research subjects. The ability to think critically in mathematics is the focus of this study. The test was utilized as a means of gathering information. The descriptive analysis was employed in the data analysis. The findings of the study show that after learning with PBL, students' mathematics learning outcomes improve. From the first to the second cycle, the percentage of students who received the KKM grew from 42.85% to 78.57%. The findings also demonstrate that using the PBL paradigm in the classroom can help fourth-graders enhance their critical thinking skills. This can be observed in the percentage of pupils in the high group with weak critical thinking skills, which was 62.40% in the first cycle and increased to 77.40%in the second cycle. Because the student sheet given to students in this study was in accordance with the PBL syntax and provided ill-structured issues as a starting point at the beginning of learning, there was an increase. Students can use the PBL syntax in student sheet to address problems that aren't well-structured.

Abstract

The development of smart wheel media for early reading recognition is a relatively new thing. This is because the media will continue to grow and continue to be developed according to needs. Developing smart wheel learning media into a more feasible and effective media, 2. 1st-grade students' responses using smart wheel learning media for reading recognition to 1st-grade students of MI Mamba'ul Huda. This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) method, using the model developed by Borg and Gall. by designing media development. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation studies followed by a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques include validity testing by experts. The results showed that the media that the researchers had created was suitable for use in accordance with the validity test of material experts and learning media experts, based on media validation by smart wheel media expert got a percentage of 84% getting very good criteria, then based on material validation by reading learning materials experts the beginning of getting a percentage of 78% got good criteria, and the analysis of student responses to learning got a percentage of 96%.

Abstract

Sexual deviant behavior of children often occurs as a result of excessive use of smartphones. That excessive use of smartphones needs to get the attention of parents. Parents' attention in using smartphones could be useful for children in understanding sexual knowledge from an early age because the use of smartphone have much information that is not suitable for the child's development and children's age. The purpose of this study is to determine the sexual education delivered by the parents to children, and to overcome children's sexual behavior due to the use of smartphones. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by applying case study. The data information is obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The data was obtained from 6 informants consist of parents in grade 3 and grade 6 at SD 7 Koba. The result of this study is parenting sex education for children is delivered in a gradual manner according to the child's growth and development phase. The information provided can support their lives and avoid sexual deviant behavior. Materials that can be provided by parents related to sexual education for elementary school children are intended to protect and defend themselves from crimes that threaten themselves from the negative influence of smartphone. To overcome sexual behavior in using smartphone, it is necessary to limit the duration, supervise, and accompany children in using smartphones.
