Abstract

Clay therapy has a special role in the field of guidance and counseling. Clay Therapy has been widely use by counselor to overcome problems faced by children. Clay media adores children. Therefore, this media can assist counselor to overcome the problem of children who cannot express their problems. The guidance and counseling program conducted using the concept of clay therapy has a special counselee target. Clay therapy is aimed at children of 9-12 years of age. At these ages children are in the development process, so they need facilitation for their development, especially in the cognitive and affective aspects..Keywords: Clay Therapy, Guidance and Counseling Program.

Abstract

Not all students have the same ability as their intellegence, it happened because some problems that cause their basic intellegence is not able to develop. It is called underachiever students. Hopefully the shift of students learning skill pattern could improve underachiver students based on their intellegence. Hopefully the use of Wdep System as part of reality counseling is able to alterate better learning skill of underachiever students.This study used quasi experimental method. Six students ware taken as sample. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The result showed that WDEP System is effetive to improve learning skill of underachiever students at the tenth class of Senior High School Yasmida Ambarawa in accademic year 2014/2015.Keywords: WDEP System, reality counseling, learning skill, underachiever students.

Abstract

Good learning habit will determine students learning achievement. Underachiever students do not have good learning habit. They have characteristis for instance bad competence in doing school assignment, bad learning habit, having acceptance problem from their contemporary friends, having bad concentration in school activities, do not have self management both in the school and home, getting bored easily, leaving school activities, having good abiliy in spoken but not in written, no patient, busy with their mind, less honesty, frequently criticizing their self, having bad relationship with their friends, causing noise in the class. Thus, underachiever students have to be understood and assisted in order to develop maximally. Key Words: underachiever students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the discrepancy between the performance of group guidance program on SMA Negeri 6 Malang with standards. This study uses a standard of Guidelines for Performance Based Professional School Counselor Evaluation. Standard reads, “the professional school counselor teaches guidance units effectively”. This study is an evaluation research using a discrepancy model. Abstract

This study based on the problem experienced by 20 students of Senior High School PGRIPagelaran who have negative self concept. In order to enhace students’ self concept, theresearcher tries to use pychodrama technique for investigating group guidance service. Itis a solution to improve students’ self concept. This study employs pre-experimental Pre-test post-test One Group Design. This study was conducted at the X class of Senior HighSchool PGRI Pagelaran in accademic year 2013/2014. The research subject are 20students. Hypothesis testing was applied by comparing the average score of pre-test andpost-test, and the T test was consulted with value of T Table at significant level 1% andd.b.= N-1=20-1=19. The result shows that the use of psychodrama technique canimprove self concept. The result was proven by significant change of average score pre-test and post test which treated psychodrama technique is 67.5 change into 89.85 or t (o)= 8,196 > t (t) = 2,861, therefore Ho rejected and Ha accepted.Keywords: psychodrama, self concept.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency. Teenagers often do not have good self-control. If self-control skills are developed early on, adolescents are expected to be able to control themselves from deviant behavior that can damage their lives in the future. The purpose of this research is to know the general description of self-control of fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Lubuk Ngin and to test the effectiveness of psychodrama in developing student self-control. The research is done using quasi-experimental method. The research subject is the fourth grader of SD Negeri 1 Lubuk Ngin. The results showed that Psikodrama technique is effective in developing self-control fourth-grade students SD Negeri 1 Lubuk Ngin.Keywords: Self Control, Psychodrama

Abstract

This study aimed to understand the characteristics of the fear of failure based on a young entrepreneurial career interests of students. This research is a qualitative research descriptive narrative with a phenomenological approach to the entrepreneurial young entrepreneur student member of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association at the Education University of Indonesia. Results from this study is the fear of failure that is divided into three major themes of the careers of the consequences, consequences on the psychological and financial consequences to the student.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research aims to reduce online gaming addictionthrough group counseling services. The methods used are questionnaires andobservation of the number of subjects studied were 10 students in two cycles , each cycleconsisting of three acts. Started from awarding the behavior contract as a form of writtenagreements for students to be responsible for the activities of group counseling and theprovision of a worksheet each after the counseling given as excavation problems andknowledge of students. The results showed that group counseling services through onlinegaming addiction in students can be reduced. It knowed before given the action thestudent is in the category of online game addiction as high as 10 people, after being givencounseling services group of 3 students in middle category and 7 low category.Keywords: Online Game Addiction, Group Counseling.

Abstract

Abstract: Each student is essence able to speak but is constrained when they are to speak in public such as presentations and speakers. One of guidance and counseling services are effective to improve the ability to speak in public is a Content Mastery service. This research to find out about the Effectivity of Content Mastery Service to Improve Public Speaking Skills in Students SMKN 1 Gunungputri. This research using quantitative research method with experimental research design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data analysis was done by inferential statistical test by using the formula Paired Sample Test and Independent Samples Test. The conclusion is the content mastery service is equally effective to enhance the public speaking ability. It can be seen clearly that the probability figure Asmyp. Sig. (2-tailed) public speaking ability in experimental group and control group is 0,000. It showed the probability under alpha of 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). Keywords: Content Mastery Service, Public Speaking, StudentSkills.

Abstract

Abstract: This article is a study to understand the paradigm and philosophical foundations of research in counseling and guidance. Research is believed to be one of the pillars of science development. Simply scientific research is a consequence of human curiosity. Philosophy is a parameter of ontology science, epistemology, axiology, rhetorical structure, and methodology discussed throughout the paradigm of positivism, postpositivism, constructivism-interpretivism, and perspective-criticism. In the sense of finding solutions, discovering new things, explaining phenomena - correlation - comparability, repositioning truth, finding critics - theories - assumptions, reductions of circumstances or conditions change with expectations. Counseling research is expected to be able to explain, reposition, critic, and find an investigative approach within the identified research paradigm. The research will continue from various paradigms. In research guidance and counseling is an activity that can prove the importance of counseling and guidance services.Keywords: philosophy, qualitative research, guidance, counseling, paradigm
