Abstract

This study discusses the strategy of Ezaki Glico in marketing Glico Wings ice cream products in Indonesia. Glico is one of the largest ice cream producers in Japan and has expanded its market in the ice cream industry in Southeast Asia, one of which is Indonesia. Indonesia is the largest ice cream consuming country in Southeast Asia with a consumption volume of 158 million liters each year. The ice cream market in Indonesia is controlled by Unilever and Campina, even Unilever is called as the absolute market leader in Indonesia with a market share of 69% in 2017. Ezaki Glico as a new incomer company, must have a strategy to create competitiveness, so that it can have market share in IndonesiaThis study uses descriptive with a qualitative approach that emphasizes the disclosure of strategies made by Ezaki Glico in marketing Glico ice cream to Indonesia. Research data obtained from books, journals, official documents and websites that support the author's hypothesis. The author uses the perspective of liberalism and the level of analysis of multinational corporations (MNC) according to Patric Morgan. And the theory used in this research are theory of competitive advantage (Competitive Advantage). To gain a competitive advantage, an MNC must have a strategy. In this study, there are 3 strategies used by Ezaki Glico to gain a competitive advantage. The results show that Ezaki Glico's strategy in marketing Glico ice cream in Indonesia is, firstly, by making a strategic alliance through a joint venture with the Wings Group Indonesia. This strategy was chosen to take advantage of the strength distribution channels owned by Wings Group Indonesia. Second, marketing ice cream at low prices (cost leadership), Ezaki Glico's ice cream portfolio ranges from Rp. 1000 to Rp. 12,000. Third, target market strategy, to target consumers of various age segments, Glico doing diversify products by created 4 ice cream sub-brands. This strategy was successful enough and made Glico Wings a Challenger market in the ice cream industry in Indonesia.Key word: Liberalism, Competitive Advantage, Diversifying Product

Abstract

Headman election is the exercise of people's sovereignty in the village in order to elect a headman who is direct, general, free, confidential, and fair. The headman election in Kuantan Singingi Regency was held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, which was attended by 94 villages in 15 Districts, in Benai District there were 5 villages that will participate in the headman election, namely Banjar Lopak village, Tebing Tinggi, Banjar Benai, Pulau Ingu and Simandolak village. The number of Permanent Voters List (DPT) in Tebing Tinggi village is 1,212 people, consisting of 578 men and 634 women. Andrisman managed to collect the most votes, namely 412 votes. Andrisman is an entrepreneur who is running for the first time as headman. Andrisman and his success team have a work program and excellent vision and mission that led him to win to become headman. Andrisman has 2 organizational experiences, namely as chairman of the Tebing Tinggi village line in 2013-2018 and youth leader of  Tebing Tinggi village in 2013-2017. With this social capital he is able to be known, mingle, and captivate the hearts of the community.This study seeks to answer the researcher's question, namely how Andrisman's political strategy in the headman election in Tebing Tinggi Village in 2019. This research also aims to describe Andrisman's winning strategy in the village head election in Tebing Tinggi village in 2019. This type of research used by the author in this study is descriptive. Data collection techniques are interviews, literature study and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out qualitatively.The results of the study explained that Andrisman's political strategy in winning the headman election in Tebing Tinggi village was political marketing consisting of 4P of marketing mix, namely Product, Promotion, Place (placement), Price (cost). Political marketing is carried out by campaigning or socializing Andrisman along with his vision and mission and community work programs by visiting residents' houses, campaigning to mosques or surau, visiting farmer and livestock groups. Keywords: Political Strategy, Political Marketing, Political Campaign.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain general descripion Indonesia choose South Korea in the procurement of armored vehicles, This research method used kualitative research. This research is focused to discuss about is to find out the reason why Indonesia choose South Korea in the procurement of tarantula Panzer. This research used the realism perspective. The research also used state-level analysis.Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that the motivation for Indonesia to cooperate with South Korea in the procurement of armored tarantulas in 2009-2013 is because South Korea is a defense cooperation partner. Indonesia has several reasons or interests. In accordance with Indonesia's interests to modernize domestic military equipment, and build the independence of its defense industry so that it does not depend on one country alone and wants to carry out military cooperation at a lower cost, this is because South Korea offers cooperation in accordance with Indonesia's interests, namely by having Transfer of Technology, a cheap funding system, the absence of negative sentiment from America and there is no threat of an embargo.  Keywords: Cooperation, Armored vehicles, National Interest, defense Equipment.

Abstract

cal parties are formed to carry out their duties, mains and functions as a sub-system of democracy. There are 4 functions of political parties, namely political communication, political socialization, political recruitment and conflict management. The 2019 simultaneous general elections which were held on April 17, 2019 combined the legislative and presidential elections simultaneously. Legislative elections are elections for DPR RI, DPD, DPRD which are held simultaneously. In the context of legislative elections, parties must carry out one of the functions of political parties, namely as a means of public participation in political activities through the political recruitment process. This is also done by PKP Indonesia as a party that has long and experience in general elections but this year has interesting problems to research, namely 1). There was a shrinkage of the electoral areas that followed. 2). The occurrence of significant votes in electoral areas IV. 3). There was an increase in the vote acquisition by 47.9% in the first electoral district of Kampar Regency.This study aims to examine the factors that are considered in Political Recruitment and the role of the Political Recruitment of the Indonesian Justice and Unity Party (PKP Indonesia) in the determination of legislative candidates for party performance (vote acquisition) in the 2019 General Election in Kampar Regency. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The location of this research was conducted in Kampar Regency. Data collection techniques used are through interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis model.The results of the study concluded that based on the researchers' observations and analysis, 1). PKP Indonesia implements an open recruitment mechanism where the requirements and procedures for presenting a character can be widely known so that all levels of society can register. 2). The modality that is highly considered by PKP Indonesia is social capital. This can be seen from recruiting legislative candidates based on the size of their influence in the community. 3). The implementation of the document that encourages PKP Indonesia to use the ball-pick method of legislative candidates shows that the cadre recruitment of legislative candidates in the Indonesian PKP Kampar Regency is weak. 4). The recruitment strategy and pattern carried out by PKP Indonesia was quite successful even though it only passed 1 person to become a front member. Because the PKP Indonesia's target is to pass Kardinal Kasim as chairman to return to the seat of the Kampar Regency DPRD.Keywords: Recruitment, regeneration, 2019 elections, modalities, recruitment success factors

Abstract

Adaptation Strategy of Bidikmisi Students, University of Riau in Completing Study Outside of Dependent Period” has been the title of this study. Researchers are keen to discuss this topic because of the importance of education in developing high-quality human resources, but the issue of cost cannot be overlooked. This study's analysis is descriptive quantitative analysis. Related to the variables and levels of Bidikmisi students' adaption techniques at the University of Riau, which were then studied using the theory of coping strategies. In terms of the problem formulation in this study, namely(1) What are the elements that prevent Bidikmisi pupils from finishing college outside of the dependent period? (2) What is Bidikmisi students' adaption plan for finishing college outside of the dependant period?. A questionnaire will be used to gather data in this investigation. The population and samples in this study were 620 people and 86 samples, as defined by the Slovin formula, and the data analysis indicated that the inhibiting factors in terms of Economics were the most significant., Academics and internal pupils were in the top category, and the tactics utilized were both problem-solving tactics and emotional-focused tactics. Keywords: Adaptation Strategy, Bidikmisi Student, Coping Strategy

Abstract

Strategy is one of the keys to victory for a candidate or candidate who plays a very important role in the legislative election victory. Political strategy is a method of winning the fight from various political forces that want power. This political strategy was formed from the impact of a reform process that occurred in which the political process was more diverse. The winning strategy is carried out to increase the number of people in choosing related candidates. For this reason, in winning the competition between candidates, competition between candidates is by making a political strategy. This research is about the winning strategy carried out by Tengku Zulkenedi Yusuf in obtaining a seat as a member of the DPRD of the Meranti Islands Regency. Tengku Zulkenedi Yusuf is the youngest candidate from the PKS party to be elected as a member of the DPRD of the Meranti Islands Regency.This study aims to determine the winning strategy of Tengku Zulkenedi Yusuf in obtaining seats for members of the Meranti Islands Regency DPRD in 2016 and to describe the factors that drive Tengku Zulkenedi Yusuf's winning strategy in obtaining seats for members of the DPRD Islands Meranti Regency in 2019. The method used is used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Sources of research data include primary and secondary data sources, tools and techniques for collecting data using interviews and documentation.The results in this study reveal that Tengku's winning strategy Zulkenedi Yusuf, namely Forming new voters from young people. Conducting campaigns by going directly to the field, namely focusing on Tebing Tinggi District. Inviting various communities engaged in sports, arts and economics in Tebing Tinggi District. Conducting campaigns using mass media. Meanwhile, the supporting factors in the winning strategy of Tengku Zulkenedi Yusuf are the first factors branding. Second, promotion delivers the programs that will be offered. Third, capital, namely in the form of funds issued. Abstract

In an effort to improve employee work, companies need to pay attention to employee welfare, one of which is by providing incentives as a form of encouragement and reward from employees' work results while working. This research was conducted at PT BPR Unisritama, Pekanbaru which is located at Soekarno Hatta Street, Pekanbaru, Riau Province. This research aims to determine the effect of Incentives on Employee Performance at PT BPR Unisritama, Pekanbaru working in the operational field. This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis method with SPSS program. The sample in this study is a number with a research population of 39 people using census methods that are distributed to all employees of the operational section at PT BPR Unisritama, Pekanbaru. The analysis tools in this study use validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis, determination analysis and significance test with t test. This study showed that incentive variables had an impact on employee performance of 16,428 with a signification rate of 0.000. Based on the results of determination known coefficient of determination of 0.879 with the sense that the contribution of incentive variable influence on employee performance in the operational section of PT BPR Unisritama, Pekanbaru is 87.9% while the remaining amount of 13.1% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Internet cafe business opportunities in Pekanbaru City have played a major role. Internet cafe business actors run internet cafe operations without having clear operating hours and a number of internet cafes have not yet obtained a business license. Many people are addicted to playing online games, especially teenagers and young children. This of course has disrupted public order and public order. The above explanation encourages the issuance of Pekanbaru City Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2015 concerning the arrangement and control of telecommunications operations, this is aimed at the realization of quality, efficient and positive internet cafe services for the community. A government oversight is needed through the One Stop Service and Investment Agency (DPMPTSP) to check the available permits. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with an inductive approach and data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation, and interviews with the Head and the ranks of the Pekanbaru City Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP) as resource persons. Based on the research conducted, it was concluded that the Supervision of Business Licensing of Online Game Internet Cafes by the Office of Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) of Pekanbaru City was carried out in stages, including: Determining the standard form. Carry out direct and indirect supervision, Research on the object of supervision and take corrective action. The inhibiting factors for the implementation of supervision in this research are: Geographical Conditions, Monitoring System, Human Resources and also the participation of business actors. Keyword: Controlling , Direct Controlling, Indirect Controlling, Corrective Action

Abstract

This research conducted at PT Surya Dumai Agrindo Bengkalis. As for the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture and organizational commitment to employee job satisfaction (study at PT Surya Dumai Agrindo Bengkalis). Organizational culture and organizatinal commitment as the independent of variable (X1X2) while employee job satisfaction as the dependent variable.The problem in this research is the fluctuation of employee turnover and entry accompanied by employee absences that increase every year. Seen from the Labor Turn Over and company absentee data. The sample of this study was taken as many as 86 respondents using purposive sampling techniques from the population calculated using the Slovin formula. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis which was processed using the SPSS program. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires.The results of test carried out show that organizational culture and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (study at PT Surya Dumai Agrindo Bengkalis). Keywords : Organizational Culture, Organizational commitment

Abstract

This research is titled "Factors Related with the Behavior of Community Prayers in Tuah Karya Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City". This research aims to determine the behavior and characteristics of the community in the implementation of congregational prayer and the factors related to the implementation of congregational prayer in Tuah Karya Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods with cross sectional study design. The population in this study were Muslim family heads who were in RW 07 RT 08 and RT in Tuah Karya Village, and a large sample of was 111 family heads. The variables in this study are the level of community awareness, level of community education, community work status, community social status and family support. Data were analyzed by using product momment correlation. Based on the result of the research, the level of public awareness in the implementation of congregational prayers in Tuah Karya Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City which is in the "Low" category is 2.8% while those in the "High" category are 49.5%, and factors related to The level of public awareness in the implementation of congregational prayers in sequence, namely family support with an r value of 0.624, the social status of the community with an r value of 0.284, while the community work status with an r value of -0.181 and the level of community education with an r value of -0.015 are not related with the implementation of congregational prayers. Keywords: Behavior, Prayers, Community
