Abstract

Abstract : Related to modern development era, it is the time when sexual education on children and adolescent needs to be improved. It indicates that teachers and counselors have to take part in sexual education. As one of the education components, Guidance and Counseling has an important role in identifying students’ understanding on psychosexual development. The objective of this research was: 1)to describe students’ psychosexual developmentbefore Sex Education Information Service was applied. 2) to describe the process of Sex Education Information Service implementation on students’ psychosexual development. 3) to describe students’ psychosexual development after Sex Education Information Service was applied. 4) to identify students’ psychosexual development differentiation before and after Sex Education Information Service was applied. 5) to identify the effect of Sex Education Information Serviceon students’ psychosexual development. Data collection tool was instrument. The subject of this research was 101first year students of TKK and TKJ SMKN 4 Pekanbaru. Sampling was saturated sample and total sample was 101 samples. The description of students’ psychosexual development before Sex Education Information Service was applied was 29,71% (not good) and 70,29% (fairly good). The improvement of students’ psychosexual development after Sex Education Information Service was applied was 72,28% (fairly good) and 27,72% (good). The correlation coefficient calculation between x1 and x2 was 0,37 and determination coefficient r2 = 0,14. It can be concluded that the effect of Sex Education Information Service on the improvement of students’ psychosexual developmentwas 14%. It means that thitung was bigger than ttabel (27,2<1,960) so that Ha was accepted. In conclusion, there was a significant effect of of sex education information service on psychosexual development of the first year students of TKK and TKJ SMKN 4 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2014 / 2015.Key words : Information Service, Sex Education, Psychosexual Development

Abstract

Abstract: The tiltle of this research is the Ability of the Eighth Grade Student of SMP Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru in Reading Sequences and Reading Comprehension. The aim of this research is to describe significant difference between reading sequences and reading comprehension of the eighth grade students of SMP Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru. The method used was descriptive method. The data were the scores of the test about reading sequences and reading comprehension of the eighth grade students of SMP Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru which consists of 5 parallel classes with population 130 students and the sample was 99 students. The data collection technique was by distributing tests of reading sequences and reading comprehension. To find out significant difference between reading sequences and reading comprehension for each sample, level of the data, and race, ANOVA was used. If ANOVA was declined, T-test was calculated. Based on the research, the findings were; (1) the ability of reading sequences was low; (2) the ability of reading comprehension was low; (3) the ability of reading sequences and reading comprehension were equal for each sample, it means that there was no difference between the ability of reading sequences and reading comprehension among the eighth students or between one to other classes; (4) the ability of reading sequences and reading comprehension were equal for each level, it means that there was no difference between reading sequences and reading comprehension among the same level of the data (level 1, level 2, and level 3); (5) the ability of reading sequences and reading comprehension were equal for each race, it means that there was no difference between reading sequence and reading comprehension among the same race or between one race to other races. Overall, it can be concluded that the ability of the eighth grade students of SMP Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru in reading sequences and reading comprehension were low which were between 56.00 % - 70.00 %.Keyword: The ability of reading sequences and the ability of reading comprehension

Abstract

ABSTRACT, Background problem in this research is the lob badminton ability not optimal yet of being owned Gempars FC athletes. This problem can be seen from the observation of researchers during a match or training, it is suspected because of the explosive power arms and shoulders muscle. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a corelation explosive power arms and shoulders muscle with lob badminton ablitiy Gempars FC athletes. This type of research is correlational comparing the measurement results of two different variables in order to determine the degree of correlation between these variables. As independent variables (X1) is the explosive power arms and shoulders muscles, while the dependent variable (Y) is lob badminton ability. This research data obtained from two hand medicine ball put test, and lob badminton ability test. Based on the research results can be concluded as follows: There is a significant corelation between the explosive power arm and shoulders muscles (X1) to lob badminton ability (Y) Club Gempars Bhayangkara Siapi Bagan Api, obtained rhitung = 0,579> rtabel = 0.361.Keywords : Explosive Power, Arms and Shoulder, Lob, Badminton

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the author's observation, planting discipline in Kembang Sekuntum Playgroup Village keresek not maximized seen when the learning process. So the application needs to be given token economy. This study aims to determine the effect of applying token economy to discipline children aged 4-5 years in group play Kembang Sekuntum District of Gunung Toar. Samples in this study is 14 students. The data collection techniques used are observasi.Teknik data were analyzed using t-test using SPSS 17.0. The study hypothesis is there is positive and significant correlation between the application token economy to discipline children aged 4-5 years. It can be seen from the analysis of data obtained with Asymp Z -3.333. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 or less than 0.05 it was determined that there are differences in the level of discipline of children before and after treatment using a token economy. Then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted that it can be concluded that there is a significant effect in the application of engineering token economy to discipline children aged 4-5 years. The magnitude of the effect of the application of engineering token economy to discipline the behavior of children aged 4-5 years can be seen through the acquisition of N-Gain score with a percentage of 74%.

Abstract

Abstract : This is a classroom action research. This research is an attempt to improve student learning activities in chemistry on class X SMAN 4 Pekanbaru by using active learning lucky wheel strategy. Student learning activity which is repaired the activity of asking questions, submit answers or opinions, working on LKS, group discussion and enthusiastic about the game of lucky wheel. This research consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings that went through four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection technique use observation and test. The result of action showed that learning activity percentage of student improved and reached the success criteria. The learning activity of student percentage in first cycle is 59,66% with enough category and the second cycle of 75,88% with good category. Percentage of learning outcomes is also seen from mastery learning that enhances and have achieved success criteria. The percentage of mastery learning students in the first cycle reached 75,67%, which has not reached the criteria of success, while in the second cycle students learning completeness percentage of 83,78% has achieved succes criteria. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded the using of active learning lucky wheel strategy can improve the activity and student learning outcomes.Key Word: Learning active strategy of lucky wheel, activities, mastery learning

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out whether there are significant effects of information gap technique on the speaking ability of the second year students of SMPN 1 Sungai Apit. This is a pre-experimental research conducted by using a pre-test – treatment – post-test design. This research used one group pre-test post-test design.The instrument used in this research was tests (pre-test and post-test). The population of this research was 113 of the Second Year Students of SMPN 1 Sungai Apit and the sample of this research was VIII 2 of SMPN 1 Sungai Apit which is total number of students of class was 20 students. Cluster random sampling method was used to select one class to be the sample. The data of this research were collected by giving the speaking tests (pretest-posttest) to the students. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The results of data analysis showed the mean score of pre-test was 52.47 and the mean score of post-test was 67.20.Based on the data analysis, It can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and the post-test because the t-test observed was higher than t-table. In other words, the alternative hypothesis of this researchwas accepted and null hypothesis was rejected. It also meant that teaching speaking by using information gap technique was effective to improve the students’ speaking ability. Keywords: Speaking Ability, Information Gap, Technique

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the study indicate that the use of colloid domino card game media can improving students learning achievement in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. Forms of this research was experimental research with radomized design of control group pretest-posttest. The population of this study were all students in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. After being tested for normality and homogeneity tests, it determined the sample of the study were students of class XI MIA4 as an experimental class and students of class X1 MIA3 as the control class. Technique that used to data analysis was t-test with the criteria that the data processed in normal distribution. Based on the results of data analysis test, we obtained tcount>ttable is 3.38> 1.67, it meant that use of colloid domino card game media could improved learning achievement in the class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with a value of N-gain 0.71 while the control class included in the medium category with a value of N-gain of 0.60.Key Words: Learning Achievement, Colloid Domino Card Game

Abstract

Abstract :This research aimed to improve creative thinking skill and student’s achievement of student class VII Hang Tuah SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru by implementation Problem Based Learning model. It had been done in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru on April-May 2016. Parameters measure were student’s creative thinking skill, studen’t achievement and student’s attitude. The methods of this research was classroom action research by implementation Problem Based Learning model. It had been done in two cylce. There were planning step, acting step, observation step and reflection step for each cycle. The research instrument used was a learning device that consist of a lesson plan, syllabus, assesment authentic sheet, observation sheet and creative thinking skill sheet. The collected data was analysed descriptively. The result of this research showed that creative thinking skill on first cycle was 86,89 (C) and increased on second cycle up to 96,19 (A). Student’achievement on first cycle was 90,62 (B) and increased on second cycle up to 96,48 (A). Classical completeness percentage on both of cycle was 100%. Student’s attitude on first cycle was 87,45 (C) and increased on second cycle up to 93,14 (B). It can be conclude that Problem Based Learning model can improve creative thingking skill and student’s achievement of student class VII Hang Tuah SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Problem Based Learning, Creative Thinking Ability, Student’s Achievement

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to develop computer-based learning media assisted by worksheet for derivative of algebra function. Development model using 4D model by Thiagarajan,et al there are (1) Define; (2) Design; (3) Develop; and (4) Disseminate. This research is limited to develop stage. On define stage, researcher make need analysis, on design stage make the paper based design, and on develop stage, media made by using Microsoft Office Power Point, then validated by four validators and revised based on validator's suggestion. Media was tested at two steps in class XI SMAN 8 Pekanbaru, there are small group test with six students and large group test with class XI MIA 10. Based on the results of data analysis obtained the result validation of media is 3,65 means very valid with the details are 3,56 for material aspect, 3,83 for learning aspect, 3,68 for program aspect, and 3,62 for display aspect, whereas for worksheet is 3,66 means very valid. Based on students questionnaire obtained the percentage of practicallity is 95,83% means very practice in small group test with the details 100% for material aspect, 97,2% for learning aspect, 91,67% for program aspect, and 91,67% language aspect. On the large group test obtained 94,25% means very practice with details are 92% for material aspect, 95,3% for learning aspect, 92% for program aspect, and 100% for language aspect. It can be concluded that computer-based learning media assisted by worksheet for derivative of algebra function are very valid and very practice for every aspects.Key Words: Computer-Based Learning, Research and Development, Derivative of Algebra Function.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThere were many Japanese uses katakana to write wago in their status and comment in the facebook (a social network site). This situation makes writer interested to research about the using of katakana’s function on wago. To research this problem, the writer used descriptive method.Based on study results on Japanese speakers in some status and comments in the facebook that written in 2013, the authors concludes that there are some functions to use katakana on wago. Most common function is to give emphasis and attract the attention of the reader. The emphasis is expressed by different words, for example: adjectives, nouns, speech, and others. The other functions that found in this study are to write the name of the animal and to write nouns proper name.Keywords: function, uses, katakana, facebook
