Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed at finding out the ability of deciding fact and opinion by the third grade students at SMP N 3 Kateman Subdistrict of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The samples were 54 students. Descriptive method was used in this research. The subjects were the third grade students of SMP N 3 Kateman Subdistrict of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The data collection was conducted by using a set of test in the form of true – false. The data were analyzed in term of students’ ability in deciding fact and opinion by checking out their worksheets of the test. The findings found that the third grade students at SMP N 3 Kateman Subdistrict of Indragiri Hilir Regency had mediocre ability with the average of 70.55% and low ability with the average of 69.44% in deciding fact and opinion. In brief, the ability of deciding fact and opinion by the third grade students at SMP N 3 Kateman Subdistrict of Indragiri Hilir Regency was mediocre with the average of 70%.Key Words: Reading, Fact and Opinion

Abstract

Abstrac: The purpose of this research to improve the resultof learning IPA students class Vc SD Negeri 010 Pasir putih of academic year 2014/2015. The subject of the research is students class Vc SD Negeri 010 Pasir putih consist of 27 students, 13 male students, and 14 female students. The type of the research is classroomaction research (PTK) with two cycles. The data collection show that the result of learning student obtain increased, the score of teachers, activity 73,60%. Cycle II mounting horizontally- flaten 87,09%. Sudent activity in cycles I bay average is 68,05% in,in cycles II increasingly byaverage is 81,94%. The data of the result research obtain increased,that before doing action Group Investigation (GI) model in basic score 10 people (37,03%) by average of score 64,59%. in cycles I incrased by complete achieve 13 people (48,14%) by average of score 68,51%. In cycles II increase by complete achieve 23 people (85,18%), by average of score 81,77. So that the increasingly of the result learning by 26,59%. The conculusion of the hypotesis in this reseach is “ if the implemented learning model Group Investigation (GI) So it can be increased the result of learnig IPA students class Vc SD Negeri 010 Pasir putih can” be acceept.Keywords : Cooperative Learning Model Type Group Investigation (GI) The Result Of Learning IPA.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted because of the result of learning social study class III SDN 7 P.Pudu. From 30 Students who achieve KKm just 13 Students (43,33%) while students who didn’t complete 17 students (56,66%) with an average 65,66. The purpose of this research to inprove learning out comes IPS class III SDN 7 P.Pudu. with the application of learning models cooperative Make a Match results obtained by the average value of 67,66 basic score in creased in the first cycle of 21,23% to 79,67in the second cycle the average value of students also increased by 31,75% to 88,50     on the basic of completeness score IPS Student learning out comes is only 40% (finished).After the professor of applied learning model cooperative Make a Match. In the first cycle classical completeness increased 75% (not finished), the second cycle of classical completeness obtained are increased to increased 93,3%. Activities of teacher at the first meeting of  75% with both categories. The second meeting increased to 87,5% in both categories. In the second cycle increased to 91,675 with the category very well. At a meeting of the second of the second cycle. The activities of teacher increased to 95,835% with the category very well. Activities of students in the first cycle of the fisrt meeting activity students acquire a percentage of 79,17% in both categories. The second meeting of the fisrt cycle to 87,5% inboth categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle of student activity increased to 95,83%with the category very well, and at the second meeting of the second cycleincreased again to 95,83%with the category very well. Key Words: Make a Match, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract: This study has two formulation problems, among others (1) what kind of deixis in the headlines of Riau Pos edition January 2017?, (2) what are the meaning of deixis in the headlines of Riau Pos edition in January 2017? Based on the problem statement this study investigates (1) To identify of deixis types in headlines Riau Pos edition in January 2017 edition (2) To identify the meaning of deixis the headlines of Riau Pos, 2017edition. The research method used is a qualitative method that was describe descriptive data. The collection of datas used are literature study technique. Based on the data analysis which has been done was found 433 deixis by dividing (a) deixis persona 223 Data with the first deixis persona 64 datas that are “saya” 19 datas, “kami” 32 datas, “kita” 13 datas, the second deixis persona data that is in words ”Anda”, third person deixis 158 datas containing “dia” 41 datas, “ia” 8 datas, “-nya” 83 datas, “beliau” 25 datas. Abstract

Abstract: Research on the use Buzz Group method have been done to find outhow it affect the student achievement on the topic of colloid in class XI IPA SMA PGRIPekanbaru. This kind of research is experiment research with randomized controlgroup pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class XIIPA-1 as the experimental class and class XI IPA-2 as a controls class, it randomlyselected after normality test and homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class thatwas treated by learning using method Buzz Group, while the control class is a class thatis not treated using Buzz Group method. Data analysis technique is the t-test. Based onthe final calculation result obtained tvalue is 3,104 is greater than ttable is 1.67 with anincrease in the use of media influence a Buzz Groups method to student achievement is10,38%, so it can be concluded that the use of the Buzz Group method can improve thestudent’s achievement on the subject of colloid in class XI Science high School PGRIPekanbaru.Key Words: Buzz Group method, Achievement Learn

Abstract

Abstract: This pre-experimental research was aimed at finding out whether there is a significant effect of using Mind Mapping on reading comprehension of the first year students of SMAN PLUS RIAU. The research model was one group pretest-posttest design. The population were the first year students in academic year of 2016/2017. The sample was 24 students out of the population, chosen by using cluster sampling. The data were collected by administering a reading comprehension test concerning narrative texts. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS version 23.0. The finding of the reseacrh showed that the mean score of post-test was higher than that of pre-test (80.67>70.81). The value of t-test was higher than t-table (19.49>2.06)at 5% of the significant level. Therefore, alternative hyphothesis (Ha) was accepted. It means that mind mapping was effective for teaching reading comprehension especially on narrative texts. The implication of the finding was that the use of mind mapping in increasing the level of reading comprehension.Keywords: Mind Mapping, Reading Comprehension, Narrative Texts

Abstract

Abstract: This research is about Language Usage on Store Name Board in Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru City. This study aims to describe what forms of store nameplate elements, the use of foreign languages, the use of word structure, and word selection. The method used in this research is prescriptive method with qualitative approach. Sources of data in this research is shop boards existing in kecamatan Tampan consisting of 4 kelurahan; Kelurahan Delima, Simpang Baru village, Tuah Karya village, and West Sidomulyo village. Technique of collecting data of this research that is by using technique of shooting and technique of record. The validity of the data is obtained by observational diligence techniques. The results of this study are as follows. First, the store nameplate element in Tampan sub-district was found in 11 elements. The elements are: 1) name, 2) store type, 3) product, 4) product information, 5) address, 6) zip code, 7) phone 8) slogan, 9) advertisement, 10) logo, 11) . The name element is an element required in the nameplate. This can be proven from each store nameplate data in Kecamatan Tampan found element name in it. Second, elements of kecamatan Tampan nameplate discourse are: 1) nameplate consisting of one element, 2) two elements, and 3) three elements. Third, the use of foreign languages on the shop name, whether it is in accordance with the rules of Law Number 24 Year 2009 or not. Fourth, the use of word structures on store nameplate in kecamatan Tampan. And fifth, the selection of appropriate and appropriate words on the shop name sign in Tampan district of Pekanbaru city.Keywords: Store Nameplate, Elements, Discourse, Foreign Language, Word Structure,Word Choice

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of science learning outcomes of students, with an average grade 57.45. Among students who totaled 33 people only 10 students who completed KKM with classical completeness reached 30.30%. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted aims to improve learning outcomes IPA Elementary School fourth grade students 9 Tenggayun Bukit Batu subdistrict with the application of Learning Cycle Approach (LC). The instrument used for data collection in this study is the Observation Sheet, Questions achievement test and documentation. The results of the research that teachers Activities cycle I and cycle II at the first meeting 62.5%, 70.83% the second meeting, the third meeting 87.5%, and the fourth meeting of 91.66%. Activities of students in the first cycle and the second cycle at the first meeting of 54.16%, 62.5% the second meeting, the third meeting of the fourth meeting of 75% and 83.33%. Learning outcomes of the first cycle and the second cycle, the basic score indicates that finished only 10 people or 30.30% and an incomplete 23 people or 69.70%. At UH I were completed totaling 25 people or 75.76% were not completed 8 people or 24.24%. At UH II that all students completed 31 people or 93.94%. The average value of students also increased, a base score average 57.45% increase student scores on the UH I to 69.24%. While at UH II also increased the average value of student learning outcomes be 75.91%. The results of the study in the fourth grade Negeri 9 Tenggayun Bukit Batu district prove that the application of the approach Learning Cycle (LC can improve learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students of SD Negeri 9 Tenggayun Bukit Batu district. This study concluded that the Implementation Approach Learning Cycle (LC) may increase student learning outcomes, therefore, for schools and classroom teachers to improve student learning outcomes this model can be used as a learning strategy.Key words: Application of Learning Cycle Approach (Lc), Learning Outcomes IPA.

Abstract: Intent of observational it is subject to be increase IPS studying result by applying kooperatif learning model type Make A Match on student Class V in SDN 003 Bantayan Baru. On this research mengunakan methodics Action Research braze (PTK) with subjek research is student brazes v SDN 003 Bantayan New that total 22 student. menunjukan's observational result increases it activity learns on meet i. cycle first which is 58,30% by enough categories, then increasing on appointment second becomes 66,70 % get categories well. On cycle II. appointment first increases 79,20% by good categories, then on appointment second increases again 95,80% by good categories. Student activity result on meet i. cycle percentage first 58,30% get enough categories, then on second appointment 66,70% also get categories well, on cycle II. first appointment 75% get categories well, on second Cycle appointment II. also experience step-up 87,50 % by ketegori well. Students learned thoroughness on base score, complete student just 9 students whereas that don't complete 13 students, with klasikal's thoroughness 40,91 % (are not complete). On cycles daily dry run i. student which complete 14 students whereas that don't complete 8 students, with klasikal's thoroughness 63,63 % (are not complete). Meanwhile on cycles daily dry run II. experience thoroughness step-up, complete student 21 person, meanwhile that don't complete 1, with klasikal's thoroughness 95,45%.Key word : Model Kooperatif is Type Make A Match, IPS Learned result

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of this research is students in learning which will affect the study result. The purpose of the research was correlation between students motivation with student learning results in mathematics of IV grade SDN cluster IV in Limapuluh district Pekanbaru city. This research method was correlational. The technique sampling of using probability sampling is cluster sampling. The collection data of using questionare method and techique documentation of the value MID second semester of academic year 2015/2016. The technique analysis use is the technique of product moment. Test analysis prerequisite in the from of normality test and linearity test. The technique analysis and prerequisite test analysis of using program SPSS 20. The research result showed that there is a positive correlation between learning motivation with learning mathematics result of IV grade students of SDN cluster IV in Limapuluh district Pekanbaru city, obtained of rxy 0,303 with a low level of correlation as well the motivation to learn contributes learning result of 9,2 %. The result of hypothesis testing of using correlation test, there significant correlation between learning motivation with learning mathematics result of IV grade students of SDN cluster IV in Limapuluh district Pekanbaru city, obtained r hitung (0,303) > r tabel (0,233) and significant value of 0,010 which shall mean less 0,05 (0,010 < 0,05). Base on these result, the hypothesis in this research ho rejected and ha accepted means there is a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation with learning mathematics result of IV grade student of SDN cluster IV in Limapuluh district Pekanbaru city 2015/2016 school year are accepted of proven.Keyword: The Learning Motivation, Learning Mathematic Result
