Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to find out the ability of the first year students of SMA Al-Fityah Pekanbaru in writing descriptive texts. The population of this research was all of the first year students of SMA Al-Fityah Pekanbaru which consist of 28 students. All students of the first grade were participated in this study. The instrument was writing test in form of a picture, that was a picture of a cat. The aspects that were evaluated are content, organization, grammar, vocabulary, and mechanic. To analyze the data, the mean scores were calculated and the level of ability of the students was identified by using the classification of ability level by Harris (1974). The result showed that the ability of the first year students of SMA Al-Fityah Pekanbaru in writing descriptive texts was at good level with mean score 78.68. Therefore, it can be concluded that most of the students were able to write descriptive texts. However, students are expected to start the writing in a first draft. In this step, they are free to express their ideas to write and free to construct sentences. Yet, in the final draft they are required to be careful to construct sentences with correct grammar and to write correct spelling, punctuation and capitalization.Key Words: Ability, Writing, Descriptive Texts

Abstract

ABSTRACT : The background of this research was the Principal at the kindergarten level in Pekanbaru has a wide variety of leadership styles. There are many styles that are applied Principal kindergarten in performing their duties. There Headmaster entire decision must be based on him, so did not want to listen to input from teachers or subordinates. Whatever a school principal without first negotiating with the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine the principal's leadership style and to identify trends in school leadership styles. This type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The number of objects of research as many as 32 people Headmaster. Questionnaire data collection techniques. Based on the results of existing studies it is known that, in the authoritarian leadership style, high category with 10 respondents or by 31.25%. Medium category with 15 respondents or 46.87% of. Low category with 7 respondents or by 21.87%. In a democratic leadership style, high category with 8 respondents or 25%. Medium category with 13 respondents or 40.62% of. Low category with 11 respondents or 34.37% of. In the laissez faire leadership style, high category with 8 respondents or 25%. Medium category with 12 respondents or 37.5%. Abstract

Abstract : This research is based on the level of discipline violation by students of SMK KANSAI Pekanbaru is still quite high. So the authors take the title of research "Analysis of Factors Cause Student Discipline Violation in SMK KANSAI Pekanbaru". The formulation of the problem in this research is: What is the dominant factor and the reason students do violation of student discipline in SMK KANSAI Pekanbaru? The purpose of this study is to determine the dominant factors and reasons students do violations of student discipline in vocational KANSAI Pekanbaru. The population of this study were students of SMK KANSAI who committed violations amounted to 266 people and the sample amounted to 53 people. The questionnaire instrument consists of 31 questions. The interview consisted of 31 questions. In analyzing the data using Qualitative Descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the dominant factor causing violation of student discipline is a factor of discipline violation arising by students with percentage of 76.73%. While the reason students do discipline violations are: students do strange to attract attention (86.79%) with the reason that the atmosphere looks more relaxed, students who lack reading (88.68%) on the grounds because students are lazy to read books, especially reading textbooks, students do not do the tasks of the teachers (88.68%) with the reason students are lazy to do their own work prefer to cheat the task of friends, and students who like to come to school without self-preparation (83.02%) on the grounds because at night they do not prepare what to bring to school.Keywords: Cause Violation, Discipline

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the levels of lead (Pb) and Hemoglobin (Hb) in gas station?s operator in the city of Pekanbaru on May-July 2016. This research is descriptive research with cross sectional approach. This study consists of two phases i.e. phase analysis of the levels of lead (Pb) and Hemoglobin (Hb) in gas station operator in the laboratory and stage the draft Handout. Research samples taken with purposive sampling method with predetermined criteria. The sample of this research totalled 25 people consists of 18 men and seven women taken from a five gas station in the city of Pekanbaru.. Examination of the levels of lead (Pb) is done using AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer) and examination of the levels of Hemoglobin (Hb) using the Easy Touch GCHb. Research results obtained from the 25 people who examined 15 people (60%) have a high lead levels and low hemoglobin levels. Research results are then used as material enrichment on teaching biology in senior high school class X on the air pollution material in the form of a Handout design.Key Words: Lead (Pb), Hemoglobin (Hb), Gas stasion?s operator, Handout.

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research was aimed at finding out how the ability of the second year students of SMAN 1 Gaung in comprehending Report texts. The sample was XI IPA 1 (30 students) chosen by cluster random sampling technique. The result showed that the reading ability of the second year students of SMAN 1 Gaung in comprehending report text is in good level with the mean score was 62.42. However, this score was lower than the minimum score criteria is 70.00. The most difficult aspect in comprehending report text was in finding factual information is 53.2 which was categorized into mediocre level. Then, the easiest aspect was in finding reference 75.3 which was categorized into good level. Based on research finding, it would be better to recommend as the follow. First, the students need to have more practice in finding factual information ability in reading activity. Second, the English teacher may increase the students? motivation and encourage them to read report text in English book as a part of practicing activities of comprehending report texts.Keywords: Study, Ability, Report Text.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted because of low learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students of SDN 29 Mandau sub Gajah Sakti. Of the 25 students who achieve KMM total of 15 students with classical completeness (60%), while the students who did not complete 10 people with a percentage (40%). The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes IPA fourth grade SDN 29 Gajah Sakti with the implementation of Problem Based Learning Model (PBM). The results obtained by the average value is 65 increased in the first cycle as much (20.86%) with an average of 81 and the second cycle increased again as many times (30, 29%) with the average score becomes 82.4. At the base score only mastery learning outcomes IPA (43.75%) did not complete. Once applied the model teacher Problem Based Learning (PBM) in the first cycle is complete classical completeness increased to 85%, in the second cycle was obtained classical completeness 85% complete. Teacher activity in the first meeting of the first cycle of 85% in both categories. The second meeting in the first cycle increased to 90% in the excellent category. In the second cycle, the first meeting of the activities of teachers increased by 95% in the excellent category. at a second meeting 90% with very good category. Student activities in the first cycle of the first meeting of student activity gets a percentage of 80% in both categories. at the second meeting of the first cycle to 85% in the second cycle either category. At the first meeting of the second cycle of 90% for category very well. At the second meeting of the second cycle remains 90% with very good category.Key Words: Problem Based Learning, Learning Outcomes IPA

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of dzikir therapy to reduce students' liver disease through group guidance services at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study was a measurement scale for liver disease students consisting of 52 items before validation, and after validation obtained a valid item number of 35 items with a validity value of 0.507 and reliability of 0.835. The subjects of this study were 7 students who were identified as having high levels of liver disease. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Rank Spearman test. The results of the study proved the research hypothesis was accepted. For that from the Spearman Rank test results obtained Sig (2-tailed) of 0.017, r= 0,714 while the correlation coefficient r2 is 0,509. Thus there is the effect of dzikir therapy on students' liver disease by 51% in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. From the Wilcoxon test results obtained (Asymp.Sig) 0.018 <0.05 it can be concluded that there are differences in the scores of liver disease students before and after being given dzikir therapy.Key Words: Dzikir Therapy, Liver Disease,Group Guidance

Abstract

Abstract: this research aims to investigate the influence of protection benefits and investment benefits against purchasing decisions on insurance education Smart Kidz AXA Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at PT. AXA Financial Indonesia branch Pekanbaru. Sample is determined by saturated technique with a sample of 34 custumers. Data is collected by questionnaire method. The method of data analysis used multiple linear regression . The results obtained F-value (10.356)> F-table (3.33) means simultaneously protection benefits and investment benefits have a positive and significant impact on the purchasing decision on insurance education Smart Kidz AXA Pekanbaru. While partially, protection benefits significantly influence purchasing decisions education and investment benefits do not affect significantly to purchasing decisions on insurance education Smart Kidz. This is proven by the regression coefficient, regression coefficients of variable protection benefits is 0.428 and investment benefits is 0.048. The value of the coefficient of determination is obtained 0.313 means both variables may explain purchasing decisions on insurance education Smart Kidz of 31.3% and the rest of 68.7% explained by other factors not examined.Key words: protection benefits, investment benefits, purchasing decision, insurance

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and achievement of school year 2014/2015. Studies students learning outcomes with average grade 57,75. While the value of minimum criteria of completeress is 65. This research is clasroom action research (CAR). Which is to inprove the secience studies achierment of fourth brade elementary school 008 Sungai Segajah Kubu Rokan Hilir District. The formulation of the problem is: Does the application of Inkuri guide can inperave the science studies studen learning outcomes elementary school 008 Sungai Segajah Kubu Rokan Hilir Distric. The incriasing of students achievmert happenet before CAR and there is in cereasing after first cycle about 57,75% in low categori, whereas after CAR on cycle 1 about 65,75% in medium and on cycle 2 about 69,75. In high categori. So that, there is increatif grade of science studies from based score to first cycle is about 13,84% and from based score to secord cycle is about 20,77%. The activity of the teacher is an averase grade on irst cycle about 62,5% in medium categori and the secord cycle is about 83,33% in high category. The activity of the students in second meeting on first cycle is average about 58,33% and the secord cycle is about 79,16%. The result of this research is the application of guiding Inkuiri can increase the secience studies students learning outcomes at fourth brade of elementary school 008 Sungai Segajah Kubu in Rokan Hilir District.Key word : Guiding Inkuiri, The science,s students achievement

Abstract

Abstract : Based on the researcher?s of male students in grade V SDN 010 Rambah while do long jump, research found while student do running start was not optimal. The purpose of this research is to see corelation between explosive power leg muscles and 40 yard running speed with the long jump result squat style of male students class V SDN 010 Rambah Rokan Hulu District. Population in this research is all male students class V SDN 010 Rambah amount 20 people. Based on population that is not so large and within the limits the researchers set the whole population is used as a sample. The research sample as many as 20 people. Research used standing board jump test be measured with centimeter, 40 yard run test be measured with second and long jump test squat style be measured centimeter. Data were analyzed by product moment correlation. Based on research results, it can be concluded as follows : 1. Shows that there is correlations of explosive power leg muscle with the long jump result which shows correlation rhitung (0,473)> rtabel (0,456) pada?=0,05. 2 there is correlation of 40 yard running speed with long jump, which shows correlation rhitung (0,616)> rtabel (0,456) pada?=0,05. 3. There is corelations between explosive power leg muscles and 40 yard running speed with the result of long jump, which shows rhitung (0,645)> rtabel (0,456) pada?=0,05Key word : explosive power leg muscles, 40 yard running speed, long jump.
