Abstract

Abstract : Background of this research is based on the observations madeby the author at the bottom of the KB Permata Bunda Lubuk Dalam subdistrictand Siak district, onje aspect of cognitive development that is pursued in earlychildhood is the familiar geometric shapes. Observer see that the average childin traffic recognize geometric shapes are still very low, only 8 of 17 children wereable to name and recognize geometric shapes. So that children feel confusion anddifficulty in playing. From these events, the authors are interested in performingan action that can improve cognitive abilities of children in the geometri shapes.Thus the authors are interested in doing this research to improving the ability oftitle game of hopscocth geometric shapes in children for 4-5 years in KB PermataBunda, Lubuk Dalam subdistric and Siak district. The study was conducted 17children. Place this research was carried out in KB Permata Bunda, LubukDalam subdistric and Siak district in children for 4-5 years. The study consistedof 2 cycles, and every cycle performed 3 sessions. Based on the analysis of thedata and see the results of the percentage increase in cycle I is 38,60% and oncycle II is 58,33%. Thus it can be said that assessment using a hopscotch gsmeimproves children’s ability to recognize geometric shapes for 4-5 years.Evidenced by the increase in the average value of each cycle and phenomenon ofgeometric shapes children’s cognitive ability, lesscreative teachers the ability todesign geometry know. Based on the analysis of data by looking at eachprogression with an increase in both enchancing the ability to recognize shapesthrough playing hopscotch geometry children for 4-5 years in KB Permata Bunda,Lubuk Dalam subdistric and Siak district.Keywords: The ability to recogninize throuometric shapes through playhopscotch.

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research was aimed at finding out the ability of the sixth semester students of English Study Program FKIP-UR in constructing comparative and superlative degrees. This research focuses on students’ ability in constructing comparative and superlative degrees based on the form, such as one-syllable adjectives, two-syllable adjectives, adjectives with three or more syllables, irregular adjectives, and adverb. The data were collected using a grammar test. The test contained 20items. The populationwas the sixth semester students of English Study Program FKIP UR in academic year 2016/2017 that consist of 89 students.The sample size was 31 students who are from Class B, chosen by using cluster sampling technique. The needed data were collected by giving grammar test that consist of tables containing data for the students to construct 2 sentences, comparative and superlative degrees in try out and real test.The try out was conducted to check the validity and reliability of the test. Based on the research, it was found out that first: the ability of the second yearstudents in constructing comparative and superlative degrees is in the good level with the mean score of 73.8.Keywords: Ability, Constructing Sentences, Comparative and Superlative Degrees.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and the student’s mathematical problem solving skill by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of this research were students of class science XII. This study was conducted in the first semester of academic year 2017/2018. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments and instruments for collecting data. Mathematical learning instruments used in this study are Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Activity Sheets. Data collection instrument used in this study is Observation Sheets and Mathematical Problem Solving Tests. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive narrative analysis of qualitative data and descriptive statistics analysis of quantitative data. The result of this study showed that the implementation of PBL improved the student’s mathematical problem solving skill. The mean of the student’s learning achievement in cycle I which is 66.18 had improved to 86.32 in cycle II. The improvement of student’s learning achievement founded for each indicator of mathematical problem solving skill: identifying the problem, formulating the problem, carrying out the plan to solve the problem, and interpreting the solution. This study concludes that the implementation of PBL improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical problem solving skill at class science XII SMAIT Al-Ittihad Rumbai. PBL model can be used as an alternative to learning, because through this learning can improve the learning process and mathematical problem solving skill of the students.Key Words: Problem Based Learning, Mathematical Problem Solving Skill, Learning Process

Abstract

Abstract: This study is aimed to develop learning media by using Adobe Flash CS4 software on the subject of Hydrocarbons at Chemistry Education study program. The result of this study is a product of learning media in the form of tutorial CD for hydrocarbon subject at Chemistry Education study program which has contents as follows: the determination of carbon atom C and H, the classification of hydrocarbons, the structure of alkane, alkyne and alkune, isomers, and the reaction of the hydrocarbon compounds. This study used Research and Development (R&D) method with ADDIE model which has five stages of development; they are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development model was modified by the writer only until the development stage. The result of validation test showed that learning media on the subject of Hydrocarbons is good with the result of validation by media experts 88.5% and material experts 92.5%, so the developed learning media is properly used on the learning and teaching process. The result of the development still has to be tried out at the students in teaching and learning process before it is used on a wider scale.Key Words : Development of learning media, Adobe Flash CS4, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract : This research is aims to discover if there are any effect of the dribbling skills of SMK Taruna Yayasan Mandiri Pekanbaru, as so that can help the dribbling skills put to its maximum efforts to achieve the desired maximum result. This research is an experimental research, and the population in this research is the football team SMK Taruna Yayasan Mandiri Pekanbaru, and the sample in this research are the whole population of the team that are consists of 15 people. The instrument that has been done to determine the dribbling skills in this research is the dribble test. Following that, the data is processed with statistics, to test the normality with the liliefors test on the significant level (). The hypothesis that are proposed is the effects of slalom dribble exercise on resulting T analysis resulting Tcount 5,660 and Ttable 1,761, that concludes that Tcount > Ttable Based on the analysis of statistic data, it showed the average of the pretest of 0,134 and the average of posttest 0,139, then the data is considered normal. Thus, the effects of the slalom dribble exersice on dribbling skill improvement on SMK Taruna Yayasan Pekanbaru can be seen.Key words : Slalom dribble, Dribbling skills

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to know the letters in children aged 4-5 years through card games or pictures in Pos ECD Kenanga East Kampar District Kampar district. This study is je nis studies using action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subject empirically n are children aged 4-5 years who totaled 15 children in early childhood Kenanga Pos. The research data obtained through observation and data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed lower card game image can improve the ability to know the letters in children aged 4-5 years. It Dapa t be seen from the increase in the average percentage of the ability to know hurf in the first cycle of 51.7% which is the criterion begins to develop (MB) and increased by 45.7% in the second cycle to 77.4%, which is at criteria developed very well (BSB). Abstract

Abstract: The problems in this research is athletes often failed in doing under the basket shoot while is not satisfied yet. In addition, athlete’s less knowledge about flexibility of the wrist and leg muscle explosive power that work when doing under the basket shoot. This research was conducted to find out whether there is contribution of flexibility of the wrist and leg muscle explosive power toward the ability of under the basket shoot of female basketball team of senior high school 3 Pekanbaru. The sample collections technique is total sampling with the numbered are 13 athletes of female basketball team senior high school 3 Pekanbaru. This research were used flexibility of the wrist test, vertical jump test, and under basket shoot test. The results in this research are there is contribution of flexibility of the wrist toward the ability of under the basket shoot, with correlation is Rx1y= 0,084 and contribution is 0,7% with very low correlation. There is contribution of leg muscle explosive power toward the ability of under the basket shoot, with correlation is Rx2y= 0,444 and contribution is 19,7% with medium correlation. There is contribution of flexibility of the wrist and leg muscle explosive power toward the ability of under the basket shoot, with correlation is Rx1x2y = 0,257 and contribution is 6,6% with low correlation.Keywords: Flexibility of the Wrist, Leg Muscle Explosive Power, The ability of Under theBasket Shoot, Basketball

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the first observation on the religious and moral values of children age 5-6 years at KB TK Bintang Cendekia, at Tampan, Pekanbaru, it was found that the students religious and moral values did not develope optimally. Therefore, it is important to do a research towards students religious values and their morals by using board game media. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Board Game media on the religious and moral values of children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted at KB BintangCendekia Kindergarten, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City for observation and research on February 2019 to July 2019. The study used an experimental method with one group pre-test post-test design with a sample of 15 children. Data collection techniques used in this study were to use observation sheets of children's religious and moral values. The data analysis technique used t-test using I.BM SPSS statistical version 20.From the results of data analysis, the t-count is 24,450, greater than t-table = 2,145 with sig 0,000 <0,05. It can be concluded that there are significant differences in children's religious and moral values before and after the use of Board Game media. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, there is an influence of the Board Game media on the religious and moral values of children aged 5-6 years at the KB Cendekia Kindergarten KB, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City by 72.94%.Key Words: Board Game Media, Religious and Moral Values

Abstract

Abstract : Based on the researcher’s observation of Archery Athlete PPLP of Education And Sports Departement of Riau 2016 Researcher found the low of the arm muscles endurance at the time of draw arrows so the athletes to repeat the draw arrows. It influences phsycal condition that is the arm muscles endurance. The purpose of this research is to see how much the correlation of the arm muscles endurance to the result of 30 m shooting of Archery Athlete PPLP of Education And Sports Departement of Riau 2016. Population in this research were all male students who were 8 people and all female student who were 4 people. Based on population that is not so large and within the limits the researchers set the whole population is used as a sample. The research sample as many as 12 people. Research instrument used push up test and 30 M shooting test. Data were analyzed by product moment correlation. Based on research results, it can be concluded as follows : there is correlation of the arm muscles endurance to the result of 30 M shooting of Archery Athlete PPLP.Key word : arm muscles endurance, 30 M shooting.

Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this research was science studies students achievement in fifth graderes (VB) SDN 23 Pinggir is still low with an average value 68,50 (with KKM 70). The purpose of this research was to improve the students achievement of the fifth graderes (VB) SDN 23 Pinggir with implementation of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together. This research was an classroom action research with two cycles in second semester 2014/2015. Before implementation of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together average 68,50, after implementation of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together, UH I was 73,25 that improve 7% from before exam with average 68,50. UH II was 79,50 that improve 16%. Teacher’s activities with the implementation of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together at first meeting of first cycle was 54,1% (enough category), and second meeting was 66,6% (enough category) that improve 12,5 point. At second cycle, teacher’s activities at first meeting was 79,2% (good category) that improve 12,6 point from second meeting of first cycle. Second meeting of second cycle was 91,7% (verygood category) which improve 12,5 point. Students activities at first meeting of first cycle was 50% (enough category), and second meeting 62,5% (enough category) that improve 12,5 point. At second cycle, student’s activities at first meeting was 75% (good category) that improve 12,5 point from second meeting of first cycle. Second meeting of second cycle was 87,5% (verygood category) which improve 12,5 point. Implementation of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together can improved science studies students achievement of fifth graders (VB) SDN 23 Pinggir.Key Words : Cooperative Learning Model Type Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Fifth graderes students Achievement.
