Abstract

Abstract: This research caused by the low ability of mathematical understanding’s students in junior high school 1 sungai aur. The aim of study was to count improvement of mathematical understanding’s students ability through discovery learning model The research method was experimental study with non equivalen pretest and posttest control group design. The population of this study was all of the students from grade junior high school 1 Sungai Aur. The subject was divided into two groups, 8th-7 as experiment group and 8th-6 as control group.. The research instruments was essay questions mathematical understanding ability. The result shown that mathematical understanding’s students through discovery learning model which is classified as moderate. In other way, the mathematical understanding’s student through convensional model has means classified as low. As a conclude, mathematical understanding’s students through discovery learning was better than the conventional one.Key Words: Discovery Learning, Mathematical Understanding Ability.

Abstract

Abtract: The lack of a positive self adjusment of students and limited material about self adjusment, encourage the researcher to conduct a development research that a compilation self adjusment of material class XI IPS3 SMAN 2 Tambang students. The aimed of research: 1). Compose material adjusment of self that is suitable for students of class XI IPS 3 SMAN 2 Tambang in terms of clarity, aspects, systematics, image support, update, and completeness of the materials. 2) To Know the quality of materials self adjusment that produced. using of research and development method. as validators are guidance lecturer I, guidance lecturer II, one of BK FKIP UR lecturer, tutor teacher, 6 friends of the associate PL-BKS, and 30 students of class XI IPS3 SMAN 2 Tambang. The material self adjusment consists of 4 sub chapter : 1).the meaning of self adjusment. 2). Aspects of self adjusment. 3). Forms of self adjusment. 4). Factors that influenced self adjusment. Quality of self adjusment materials that produced based of clarity aspect is very good with X = 3,65. Systematic aspect is good with X = 3,27. Image support aspect is good with X = 2,87. Update of material aspect is good with X =3,32. Compliteness of materials aspect is good with X = 3,32. And from all of aspect is concluded good quality, with X = 3,27.Key Words: Material of self adjusmentWISUDA OKTOBER

Abstract

Abstract: This study is a Class Action Research (CAR) conducted aims to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students MI Al-Muhajirin by applying the models Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL). Formulation of the problem: Is the application of models Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) can improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students MI Al-Muhajirin Menggala Sakti Kecamatan Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir. This study was conducted on 20 April 2016 until May 11, 2016 with 2 cycles. The subjects were students of class V MI Al-Muhajirin consisting 24 which is used as a data source. Data collection instrument in this thesis is the teacher and student activity sheets and learning outcomes. This thesis presents the results obtained from the study before action replay value with an average of 61.25, an increase in the first cycle with the average being 72.83. In the second cycle increased by an average of 80.17. Activities teachers in the learning process in the first cycle, the first meeting of 62.50%, and the second meeting to 75.00%. At the first meeting of the second cycle 87.50%, and the second meeting increased to 93.75%. The results of the data analysis activities of students in the first cycle of the first meeting and the second meeting of the 68.75% increase to 75.00%. In the second cycle to the first meeting of 87.50%, and the second meeting increased to 93.75%. The results of the study in class V MI Al-Muhajirin to prove that the application of learning models Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) can improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students MI Al-Muhajirin Menggala Sakti. Keywords: models Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL), IPA Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrack : This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and learning outcomes on the interest to continue studies to college in the students of class XII SMK country 5 Pekanbaru. Population in this study is the students of class XII SMK country 5 Pekanbaruas many as 300 people, and the sample as many as 75 people. Data inquiries using questionnaires and documentation. Analysis of data used is mutiple linear regression. The result of research based on multple linear regression shows the motivation of learning and learning outcomes have an effect on the interest of continuing study to college in the students of class XII SMK country 5 Pekanbaru, this can be seen from the constant valeu (a) of 1,420, regression coeffficient value of learning motivation variable of 0,263, and value of regression coefficient of learning result variable equal to 0,390 with regression equation 1,420 + 0,263 +0,390. Seen from the calculation of R2 (R square change) obtained value of 0,296. Meaning is that the percentage of influence of learning motivaton variables and learning outcomes of interest to continue studies to college of 29,6%.Key word : Motivation to learn, Learning outcomes, Interest in continuing study to college

Abstract

Abstract: Descriptive research has been conducted to reveal the students' perceptions of the implementation of authentic assessment (authenthic assessment) in the course of technique and management of laboratoryin the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau Academic Year 2013/2014. This research was conducted in December 2013 to January 2014. Subjects were students of the 1st semester of Biology Education, Academic Year 2013/2014 amounted to 54 people consisting of 7 men and 47 women. Parameters measured were perceptions of students with indicators of knowledge (Knowledge), reasoning (reasoning), skills (Skill), work (Product), and attitude (Affect). The results showed student perceptions on the implementation of authentic assessment (authenthic assessment) in the course of technique and management of laboratoryin in good categories. Perceptions of students for indicators Knowledge (Knowledge) was 3:44 (good category), indicators of reasoning (reasoning) is 3:24 (good category), indicators of skill (Skill) is 3:47 (good category), the indicator works (Product) is 3.25 (good category) , attitude indicator (Affect) was 3:28 (good category).Keywords: perception, assessment, authentic assessment, technique and management of laboratory

Abstract

Abstract: This pre-experimental study is aimed at finding out if there is a significant effect of Cooperative Script method on the speaking ability of the second year students of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The design of the study is one group pre-test-treatment-posttest design. 37 students of class XI MIA 1 in the second semester of academic year 2016/2017 were chosen as the sample by using Cluster random sampling. The instrument of the test was in the form of monologue and the treatment was conducted in six times. The students’ scores were graded by the three raters using Brown’s scale and analyzed using t-test formula.The results of the data analysis showed that the mean score of pre-test is 51.56 and the mean score of post-test is 67.44. The result showed that the value of t-test was higher than t-table (11,975>2,028) at the significance level 5% and at the significance level 2% (11,975>0,3810). Therefore, alternative hyphotesis (H1) is accepted and null hyphotesis (Ho) is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of Cooperative Script method on the improvement of speaking ability of the second year students of SMAN 1 PekanbaruKeywords: Effect, Cooperative Script Method, Speaking Ability

Abstract

Abstract: The porpose of this research to measure the practicality level of experimental devices of magnetic as media physics learning of junior high school. The device consisting of 8 pieces, those are magnetic levitation, magnetic resonance, magnetic field energy, test properties of magnetic material, detector properties of magnetic material, magnetic induction rotaty machine, compolar motor 1, compolar motor 2 and students experimental guide. Data collected by giving a questionnaire of practicality to teachers and students. There were 5 science teachers and 30 students of junior high school have participated in this research. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the level of the experimental device practicaility. The result of data analysis this research found the level of practicality is in high and very high category and the assessment of the experimental guide practice is very high category. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the experimental device of magnetic are practical and feasible to be used as learning media physics of junior high school.Keywords: practicality level, magnetic experimental devices, magnetic field

Abstract: Indonesia is an anthropological country of 500 ethnic group language and culture features. Even more unique, earch of ethnic group has its own country of origin, historical experience and ancestry. In the countryside generates a variety of tradition that are very important and meaningful, but the villagers take the tradition as a regular thing that they routinely do and become something very valuable, unique and very interesting as important and sacred. The purpose of study is (1) To know the tradition history of lonely rhythmic in the wedding ceremony at the village of Buluh Nipis Siak Hulu Kampar District, (2) To find out the procedures of the tradition of parade in the wedding ceremony in the village of Buluh Nipis Siak Hulu Kampar District, (3) To know the values contained in the implementation of tradition a long the parade of wedding ceremony in the village of Buluh Nipis Siak Hulu Kampar District, (4) To know conservation effort the tradition of parade in the wedding ceremony in the village of Buluh Nipis Siak Hulu Kampar District. The method used in this research is the historical method. The result of this research is the tradition parade to ledges that tradition has long been in the village of Buluh Nipis in a wedding that started with negotiation and the beginning of the feast. The opening wedding ceremony marked by beating of talempong by ninik mamak and short speech, tradition parade to ledges becomes very important because it is a sign of respect and glory for the bride.Keyword: Tradition, Parade to Ledges, Wedding

Abstract

Abstract : This research discusses about coordinating conjunction in political news Daily morning Riau Pos. This study aims to determine the type of coordinating conjunction and to describe the use of relationships of coordinated conjunction meaning in the political news of Riau Pos Daily Morning Post. Research is useful theoretically and practically. This research is a type of qualitative research and using descriptive method. The technique used in data collection in this research is documentation technique. The data that have been collected and then analyzed with several stages, namely reading activity repeatedly and carefully in the data, identify the data and describe the data, and concluded the research results. This research data comes from the discourse of political news in the newspaper Daily Morning Riau Pos. From the research that has been done, the researcher finds 240 data, that is 163 data conjunction and, 3 data conjunction let alone, 5 data conjunction and, 12 data conjunction other than, 3 data conjunction with, 3 data conjunction before, 3 data conjunction then 1 data conjunction data, but 1 conjunction data but 1 conjunction data but 1 conjunction data but 1 conjunction data instead of 3 conjunction data whereas, even 3 conjunction data, 10 data conjunctions only, 4 data conjunction is, 9 data conjunction so, 1 data conjunction therefore, and 1 data conjunction thus. So, the most data is the conjunction data and. Abstract

Abstract : Business type chips industry is one of the micro enterprises which are currently very interested by most people in the city Dumai. Increasing public interest snack chips into a potentiality huge market opportunity to earn large profit. When it will open a bussines in the domestic industry chips, one most consider the profitability, is how the business’s ability to generate profits that will be a picture of the effectiveness of business. The purpose of this study was to determine the lever of profitability of micro enterprises domestic industry type chips. Population in this study is the domestic industry in the distric Cap Ika Dumai sestern city Dumai. This method uses a method in which the saturated samplepopulation sampled directly. Data collection techniques is through interview. Data analysis techniques using the technique of the average net income, profitability and calculation return on assets ( ROA ). The results showed that the average household net profit industry cap Ika chips in the city as whole amounted Dumai are Rp 21.244.286,- . that is equal to the highest operating profitability 46% and return on assets are 75% so t. At capital can be restored as well as the return on assets was also rated quite hight.Keywords : Profitability, micro-enterprises, micro enterprises type of industry chips.
