Abstract

Abstract: The history of PGRI Riau is a struggle of the organization of teachers formed in 1961 to advance the welfare of teachers and to pioneer the education world in Riau. Until 2015 PGRI Riau continues to grow well and promote education in Riau this. The purpose of this research is 1) to know the background of the development of PGRI Riau in 1961-2015. 2) to know the progress of PGRI Riau from time to time. 3) to know the impact of PGRI Riau in 1961-2015. The method used in this research is the historical method of qualitative approach. Data obtained from interviews and then analyzed in their own language. The location of the research is in Riau teacher building (GGR/ Gedung Guru Riau) Pekanbaru. The time of study began after the decree issued by the dean of teacher faculty of education and education of Riau University. Data collection techniques used are observation and interview techniques, surveys, and documentation. The results of the study provide knowledge to us that PGRI Riau is the result of teacher struggle to advance education in Riau.Keywords: PGRI Riau, organization of struggle

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of student’s physics through the application of metacognitive strategies. The research method used is Pre-Experimental by using One Shot Case Study design. This research was conducted at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru in May 2016 until June 2017 with research subject at Class XII MIA 1 consisting of 35 students. The data in this study is the results of student's cognitive learning outcomes test which are diagnostic test in the form of multiple choice reasoned amounted to 10 questions. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis that is by determining the absorption and learning difficulties of student. Based on data analysis, the result shows that the average absorption of students Class XII MIA 1 is 70,7% which is in good category. For the analysis of the student's learning difficulties, the result is that at each stage of problem solving on metacognitive strategy shows that from 34 students almost half of them have difficulty in understanding stage of problem, problem solving planning stage and interpretation stage, and only a small part having difficulties in planning stage plan. This means that students have the ability to process data in a good mathematical form.Key Words: Cognitive learning outcomes, Metacognitive strategies, Electrostatic concept

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results field observation of gross motoric of students have not developed optimally, so it is necessary to apply the petang megang dance application. This study aims to determine the effect of petang megang dance on rough motoric aged 5-6 years old in Kemala 2 Brimob kindergarten Pekanbaru. The sample in this study was 20 students. The data collection technique in this study is observation. Technique of data analysis using t-test by using program of SPSS 20. The research hypothesis is petang megang dance activity have influence to gross motoric of child aged 5-6 years old in Kemala 2 Brimob kindergarten Pekanbaru. This can be known from the analysis of data obtained t count = 21,904 and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. Because Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0,05 it can be concluded that there is a significant rough motoric significantly after the application of petang megang dance in the learning process. So it means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means there is a very significant difference between before and after doing experiments by applying the petang megang dance. The influence of petang megang dance on gross motoric ability age 5-6 years old in Kemala 2 Brimob Kindergarten Pekanbaru by 55,84%.Keywords: Petang Megang Dance, Gross Motor Ability.

Abstract

Abstract: This research discusses about compound verb of ~dasu, and its equivalent in Indonesian. The purpose of the research is to describe kind of verb could accompany verb of dasu, the meanings of its, and its equivalent in Indonesian. Data in this research is sentences that contain compound verb of ~dasu selected from Nihongo Bunkei Ziten and corpus data. This study is used translational equivalent method and sorting determinat technique. The result of this research indicate that the kind of verb that dasu verbs can be accompanied to dasu is continuative verb, movement verb, stative verb, and muishi doushi. Compound verb of ~dasu meaning is the process of starting verbs, transfer from inside to outside, inward movement (towards the speaker), find, and change.Compound verb of ~dasu meaning is the process of starting verbs is equivalent with the word starting before the equivalent which is accompanied to dasu. Equivalent of of transfer from inside to outside’s meaning is is paired according to the verb that accompanied it and the meaning it contains. While the equivalent that carry the inward movement (towards the speakers) meaning and find meaning equivalent with the same equivalent verbs accompanied to dasu. Verbs that carry the meaning of change are affixed –me to the equivalent of the basic form of the verb accompanied to dasu.Key words: Compound, Verb, Equivalent

Abstract

Abstract: The social behavior paradigm focuses more on individual relationships with social and non-social environments. Social behavior can grow in the child through interactions that are intertwined with the social environment. A student who is able to socialize well to his environment will be able to place himself in behaving within a social group. Because there are still students who have not been able to put and show social behavior well then in this study felt the need to see the picture of social behavior of students. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of social behavior with peers in terms of ethnicity and gender in role behavior, social relations and expressive behavior. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. To analyze data using percentage technique. The sample in this study amounted to 396 students. The results showed the role of ethnic behavior of Java is better than the ethnic Malay, Minang and Batak. While social relations and expressive behavior of ethnic Batak better than ethnic Java, Malay and Minang. As for gender, female role behavior is better than men, in male social relations is better than women, and in expressive behavior of women is better than men.Keywords : Social Behavior, Peers, Ethnicity, Gender

Abstract:Prof. Dr. H. M. Diah Z, M. Ed is an educational figure who has many roles in advancing education in Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the educational history of Prof. Dr. H. M. Diah Z, M.Ed, to find out the role of Prof. Dr. H. M. Diah Z, M.E in advancing education, to find out the achievements of Prof. Dr. H. M. Diah Z, M.Ed and to find out the views of relatives and family towards the figure of Prof. Dr. H. M. Diah Z, M.Ed. The results of this study are Prof. Dr. H. M. Diah Z, M.Ed advancing education starting from being a teacher and lecturer, in collaboration with PT.CALTEX on the construction of the UNRI LANGUAGE LABORATORY, Following the Upgrading and Administration of Higher Education, as a facilitator in sending lecturers to take a Masters degree to a Foreign University. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data obtained from the interviews are supplemented with data obtained from books and data archives, then analyzed in their own language. The place of this research is in Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques used are documentation, interviews, observations and related literature in the Biography of Prof. Dr. H. M. Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to be used as a source of information about the composition and structure of the palnton community as a bio-indicator of water quality in the Indragiri River. The study was conducted in the Indragiri River, Kuantan Singingi Regency from May to June 2019. The parameters measured were biological parameters and physical chemical parameters of the waters. This research is a descriptive study consisting of research stagein the field and poster design stage. The study was conducted in 5 stations with a purpose random sampling technique, while data collection was carried out using a survey method. The method in this study consists of 2 stages, In the study of Media Poster design using the Addie model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the composition of phytoplankton in theIndragiri River was found in 5 classes, 23 species and 333 individuals. While the zooplankton composition in the Indragiri River found 5 classes, 8 species and 35 individuals. The highest phytoplankton composition was Closterium kuetzingii with a proportion of 8.11% and the highest zooplankton composition was Nebelia cartosi at 28.57%. The highest abundance of plankton was found at station I, the highest index of plankton species richness was found in stations I and III, the highest plankton evenness indexwas found in stations I and V, the highest plankton diversity index was found at station I. While the plankton dominance index at all stations was low or close zero.Key Words: Fitoplankton, Zooplankton, Kualitas Perairan

Abstract

Abstrak:This research is motivated by the problem of security and comfort that is disturbed in the Riau University campus environment which is caused by people who commit acts that violate the law and could be detrimental to others in the campus area. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the perception of Riau university students about the role of security guards at the Riau University campus. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of Riau university students about the role of security guards at the Riau University campus. Benefits of research results for students to provide an overview of the role of security guards on duty on campus and in the future students can work together with security guards to create security comfort together This research method is quantitative descriptive, data collection instruments used in this study are questionnaires consisting of 23 questions with 6 subindicators. The population in this study were students of Riau University. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the research conducted,concluded that overall the data regarding the perception of Riau University students about the role of security guards on the University of Riau campus are in the "High" category. answered "Very Good" totaling 18.7% plus the results of the calculation of respondents who answered "Good" with 39.6% which is the sum of 58.3%, which is in the range of 50.01% -75% which falls into the "High" category.KeyWords:Perception, Students, Role, Security

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a written test instrument based on scientific approach of the topic motion system on 11th grade in senior high school in October 2019-January 2020. The research was conducted in two places, for validation and phase I limited trials conducted at Biology Education Campus FKIP UNRI and the test phase II limited trials were conducted at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. This type of research refers to the R&D research approach using the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry. The subject of this research is the subject matter of Biology on 11th grade in senior high school KD 3.5. The written test instrument developed consisted of 5 meetings with an allocation of 15 minutes for posttest work and 2x45 minutes (2 JP) for daily test questions. The parameters of this study include the results of the validation of the development of a written test instrument by the validator and the response of the limited phase I and phase II trial evaluations. The assessment is done using a validation sheet and a questionnaire. Data analysis is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicate the written test instruments that have been developed are in the category of very valid with an average score of all aspects of 3.41, the value of the results of the limited trial phase I on all aspects obtained an average score of 3.35 and stage II 3.33 with very good categories . The results of theanalysis of the whole items of the test instrument from posttest 1 to daily tests in phase I trials obtained a reliability index of 0.837 to 0.939 in the very high category, a difficulty level index of 0.143 to 0.857, a difficult to easy category, a distinguishing power index at intervals of 0.40-1, 00 categories of questions are well received, and the percentage of effective deceiters is 70% -100%. While the results of the analysis of the whole item test instruments from posttest 1 to daily tests in phaseII trials obtained a reliability index of 0.685–0.923 categories of high to very high, difficulty index index of 0.138–0.758 categories of difficult to easy, distinctive power index at intervals of 0.40 -1.00 question categories were well received, and the percentage of deceiters was effective at 100%. Based on the results of the validation, the results of the limited trial phase I, the limited trial results phase II, and the revisions that have been made, this written test instrument is good and feasibleto be used as an evaluation tool in learning based on the scientific approach at school to hone and assess problem solving skills by students.KeyWords: Written Test Instrument, Scientific Approach, Motion System

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop the Student Training Worksheet (LKPD) with the ethnics-based Search, Solve, Create, Share (SSCS) model and critical thinking on the high school class X ecological material in March-December 2019. The research was conducted in two places, namely to LKPD validation was conducted at the FKIP UNRI Biology Education Campus and LKPD limited trials were conducted at SMAN 15 Pekanbaru. This type of research refers to the R&D research approach using the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry. The subject of this research is the subject matter of Biology in high school class X KD 3.10. The developed LKPD consisted of 2 meetings (1 week = 3 JP) with a time allocation of 1 JP for 45 minutes. The parameters of this study include the results of the validation of the development of LKPD by the validator, limited test assessment and critical thinking skills assessment. The assessment is done using a validation sheet and a questionnaire. Data analysis is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicate that LKPDs that have been developed are in the very valid category with an average score of all aspects of 3.46, the value of the results of trials I and II in all aspects obtained an average score of 3.63 and 3.42 with very good categories. The value of the answers to students' critical thinking skills at LKPD meetings 1 and 2 are 93 and 93.8 with very good categories. Based on the results of the validation, the results of the first trial, the results of the second trial and the revisions that have been made, LKPD is good and feasible to be used as a reference at school learning to increase students' knowledge and understanding of ecological material.Key Words: Critical Thinking , Ethnoscience, Student Worksheets, Model Search, Solve, Create, Share (SSCS)
