Abstract

Abstract: This research was backgrounded by the problem of low learning outcomes of social sciences of the fifth grade students SDN 55 Sebangar, with an average value of 63.1. Classically it was said to be unfinished because the Minimum Completeness Criteria or KKM specified was 70. One contributing factor was the teacher has not applied learning models in implementing learning activities. For that conducted a classroom action research as many as 2 cycles to students of class VB SDN 55 Sebangar totaling 26 students, consisted of 12 male students and 14 female students started from February to July 2015 which aimed to improve result social sciences students by implementing cooperative learning model. From the results of data analysis improving student learning outcomes, preliminary data showed that the average value of the class only 63.1 it meant students who completed only 11 (42.3%), meanwhile the students who did not completed total 15 persons (57.7%). After doing the action in the first cycle by implementing cooperative learning model, the value of average daily test on the first cycle to 74.0 it meant increased of 17.27%. Students who pass increased to 16 with the classical completeness reached 61.5%. In the daily test cycle II obtained the average value of the class of 79.8 by the number of students who completed 23 people and who did not completed just 3 people. It meant that the learning outcomes increased by 26.47% with the classical completeness reached 88.5%. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model can improve social sciences learning outcomes of the fifth grade students SDN 55 Sebangar.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Learning Outcomes of IPS

Abstract

Abstract: Customs are behaviors that are hereditary and have been in effect for a long time, with strict and binding rules. The customs and traditions in Indonesia are very diverse, one of which is the customs in Kampar about marital customs, which have certain procedures and rules determineted by local customs that are still implemented today. The purpose of this study is to find out how the intial process before marriage in the village of Mount Sahilan Kampar district, to find out how the Malay tradisional wedding procession in the village of Mount Sahilan Kampar district, to fint out how the conditions after marriage in the village Mount Sahilan Kampar district. The method is a qualitative method, where data is collected through interviews, observations, documentation and literature study. The time of the study began from the submission of the final revision of the author?s thesisi. The results showed that the Malay custom of marriage in Mount Sahilan is still maintained until now. Seen in the process before marriage which is carried out in the matchmaking is called manjodohkan, than the customary marriage procession there are nine procedures that must be carried out and the condition after the marriage procession is performed the last event called menjolangmintuo. Abstract

Abstract: Based on the observations result and information from PJOK teacher, the writer found several problems, namely a lack of running speed of students in doing the start and less limb muscle strength of students at the time of the repulsion that affected long jump test results of students. This reseach aims to know correlation of running speed and explosive power of legs with result of long jump squat style of male students on grade X in SMA Negeri 2 Bengkalis 2016. The form of this research is the correlation study, the population in this research are male students on grade X in SMA Negeri 2 Bengkalis 2016, and the sample in this research are male students on grade X in SMA Negeri 2 Bengkalis 2016 which consists of 81 students. To get the data, the writer used test of running 30 meters, standing broad jump, and long jump squat style. Then, the data were analyzed by using simple product moment correlation and continued with double correlations to get the relationship among these three variables. From the calculation of the first analysis between running speed (x1) and result of long jump squat style (y) where rtable at significant level α (0,05)=0,220, it means rresult (0,967) > rtable (0,220) as the result the hypothesis is accepted and there is a extremely strong correlation between the running speed and result of long jump squat style. The second analysis of the correlation between explosive power of legs (x2) and result of long jump squat styles(y), where rtable at a significant level α (0,05)=0,220 it means rresult (0,960)> rtable (0,220), hence, the hypothesis is accepted and there is a extremely strong correlation between explosive power of legs and result of long jump squat style. The third analysis correlation of running speed (x1) and explosive power of legs (x2) with the result of long jump squat style (y), where rtable at significant level α (0,05)=0,220 rresult (0,977)> rtable (0,220), meaning that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a extremely strong correlation of running speed and explosive power of legs with result of long jump squat styles.Keywords: Running Speed, Explosive Power of Legs, Result of Long jump Squat Styles

Abstract

Abstract : This study is a descriptive study that aims to produce an instrument Pedagogical Content Knowledge competency test for junior high school science teacher. This research was conducted in FKIP Biology, University of Riau and MGMP IPA SMP Pekanbaru in September 2016 until February 2017. This study is Research and Development which used ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) and only done to Develop stage. Data was collected by the validation and testing. Validation aims to see usefullness a matter of expert opinion in the field of Pedagogical Content Knowledge IPA SMP, while the trial function to see usefullness the instrument for target users by analyzing the test results. Data obtained from the analysis of the test results in the form of value reliability, level of difficulty, diferentiation capacity and the function of detractors matter. Then, product produced after the validation and test are multiple choice questions with five possible answers which consists of 96 questions with 44 questions Content Knowledge, 36 about Pedagogical Knowledge and Pedagogical Content Knowledge 16. The results showed that the competency test instruments Pedagogical Content Knowledge can be categorized as good and can be used to measure mastery of Pedagogical Content Knowledge junior high school science teacher.Keywords: Instruments, Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), Junior High SchoolScience Teacher

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the financial performance and firm value has been carried out by researchers, but the results have not been consistent. Thus researchers are interested in studying the financial performance of firm value. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of financial performance to firm value. The population of this research are the manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange that have complete data on return on assets, return on equity, and firm value for three consecutive years (2013-2015). Data type of variable of this research is secondary data obtained with techniques derived from Indonesia Stock Exchange website (www.idx.co.id). Data analysis in this research is using regression. The results showed that simultaneously ROA and ROE affect the firm value, but partially only the ROE that has an influence on firm value.Keywords: ROA, ROE, PBV

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to the correlation of self confidence and self adjusment in Kindergartens Negeri Pembina 2 City of Pekanbaru. The population in this study all children aged 5-6 years in Kindergartens Negeri Pembina 2 City of Pekanbaru as many as 100 children from 5 classrooms. The tecnique of collecting data used simple random sampling. Based on the calculation using Taro Yamane formula then the sampling specified in this study is 50 children. The method used is Pearson Product Moment to see the relationship between cofidence with self adjusment. The technique of collecting data used observation sheets in the form of likert scale. The technique of analyzing data used scale test and statistic analytical by using SPSS program for windows ver.17. Based on hypothesisthere is any significant positif correlation between self confidence and personal adjusment of children aged 5-6 years in Kindergartens Negeri Pembina 2 City Of Pekanbaru. It can be known from the value of correlation coefficient of rxy = 0,538 and significance level 0,000 < 0,05. Level of relationship between self confidence and personal adjusment included in the category of being with the value of determinant coefficient of 29%, has the mening that confidence gives effect to the adjusment.Keywords : Self Adjusment, Self Confidence

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the relationship of headmaster communications with performance of kindergarten teacher in Tampan sub district Pekanbaru City. This research is a quantitative study by using correlation techniques. This variable in of this research consisted of two variable that is headmaster communications and performance of kindergarten teacher. The sample were used in this research is 73 people. The data collection techniques used were through questionnaires in the form of Likert scale. Data were analyzed to test and validity of reliability using large-scale trials and analysis of statistical methods with SPSS for windows ver.16. In this research the hypothesis is that a relationship of headmaster communication with performance of kindergarten teacher in the sub district of Tampan Pekanbaru city. The result showed a positive and significant relationship between headmaster communications with performance of kindergarten teacher in the sub district Of Tampan Pekanbaru city. It can be found from the analysis of data obtained is the value of rcount at 0,255 while rtable ( 5%) (dk = n - 2 = 73 - 2 = 71) so that rtable = 0,235. Because the value of rcount is greater than the value of rstandar or 0,255> 0,235. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the variable of headmaster comunication with performance of kindergarten teacher. The result of determinant coefficient is r2 = 0,065 with p = 0,029 ( p < 0,05) so, it can be seen that headmaster communications give influence equal to 6,5% to performance of kindergarten teacher.Keyword: headmaster comunications, performance of kindergarten teacher.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the independence of children aged 5-6 years in Education Kindergareten 21 Kulim Pekanbaru City. The population is all children aged 5-6 years in Education Kindergarten 21 Kulim Pekanbaru City as many 57 children. The sample of the study is 36 children. The type of this research is descriptive with quantitative methods. Data collection techniques used are observation sheets. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling. Data analysis techniques using percentage formulas, to find the number of scores of children's independence with 7 indicators namely controlling emotions, confidence, responsibility, discipline, cleverness, sharing and controlling emotions. The percentage of the independence of children aged 5-6 years in Education Kindergarten 21 Kulim Pekanbaru City amounting to 48.01% is in the criteria of MB (starting to develop)Keyword: independence of children aged 5-6 years

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the low student’s achievement in mathematics in grade VIIa of SMP An Namiroh Pekanbaru. From data of daily students was obtained the percentage of students who got the Mastery Minimum Criteria were 43,3% for main subject Integers and 13,3% for subject Algebra. This research is a class action research. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathematics by implementation of cooperative learning Think Pair Square (TPS) approach. The subject of this research were the students in the class VIIa of SMP An Namiroh Pekanbaru at the even semester of academic year 2016/2017 that consist of 14 boys and 15 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and student’s mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in desciptive narative to see the process of activities learning process that the implementation wasn’t based on plan that was made so it can be arranged the improvemen plan for second cycles while the student’s mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic desciptive. The result of this research showed an improvement of learning process and student’s achievement of learning mathematic prior to the action on the first and second cycles. The students have be seriously in doing students worksheets by develop their own capability and every member of group took an active part in doing students worksheets. The students also were confident if being showed to do the presentation and being more active in giving idea for group who did the presentation. From the analysis of getting the Mastery Minimum Criteria showed an improvement student’s achievement from the basic score with percentage 34,5% to the first test with percentage 41,4% to second test with percentage 54%. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning Think Pair Square (TPS) Approach can improve the learning process and improve the student’s achievement of learning mathematic in grade VIIa of SMP An Namiroh Pekanbaru at the even semester of academic year 2016/2017.Key Words : Students Math Achievement, Cooperative Learning Think Pair Square Approach, Clasroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the level of validity of the Student Worksheet (LKPD) Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the Interaction Material of Living Things with the Class VII Middle School. This research was conducted in two places, namely for the validation of the Student Worksheet (LKPD) by the validator carried out in the Biology Education Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau. Then, a limited trial of LKPD that had been developed was carried out at SMPN 2 Bangko Pusako, Rokan Hilir Regency. The time of research is May-October 2019. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model which is carried out until the development stage. There are 4 LKPD developed. Data collection instruments in this study were LKPD validation sheets, and questionnaire respondents. After LKPD is developed, it is then validated by 5 validators. After that, the first trial was conducted on 15 students of FKIP UR biology education, and the second trial on 20 Class VII students at SMPN 2 Bangko Pusako. Student Based Worksheet (LKPD) based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the material interaction of living things with the environment of class VII SMP has been successfully developed with a very valid category.  Keywords: Development, Student Worksheet, Problem Based Learning
