Abstract

Abstrac :Science subjects in primary schools should be given with the aim that students have the ability IPA. For the Science learning outcomes need to be improved by changing the paradigm of learning in elementary education teacher centered to student centered learning. This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve learning outcomes IPA with application of learning models CTL in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 010 Semelinang Army Peranap Indragiri Hulu subdistrict. The research was conducted on March 12, 2015 to April 9, 2015. The subjects were students of class V Elementary School 010 Semelinang Army totaling 22 people comprising 10 men and 12 women. With the formulation of the problem is the application of learning models CTL (contextual Teahcing and Learning) in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 010 Semelinang Army Peranap Indragiri Hulu subdistrict. This thesis presents the results of student learning gained through daily test I in the first cycle and the second daily test on the second cycle. In the first cycle an average of 69.10 learning outcomes in the second cycle student learning outcomes on average 76.37, so the average increase of 7.27 students. Mastery learning of individuals in the first cycle, there are 15 people (68.18%), the second cycle, there are 20 people (90.90%). The average activity of teachers in the first cycle was 69.64% with the category enough, on the second cycle was 89.29% with the good category. The average activity of students in the first cycle was 71.43% with the good category, the second cycle was 89.29%. From this study it can be concluded that the application of learning models CTL (contextual Teahcing and Learning) can improve learning outcomes IPA at Elementary School fifth grade students of the District Land 010 Semelinang Peranap school year 2014/2015.Keywords: CTL (contextual Teahcing and Learning) and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by problems that arise during observations made by researchers, namely students in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. still the lack of students and students who obey school rules is also a form of character that is not good, always comes late and does not have the discipline ofself and responsibility. One example of cases of moral decline in students when children are reprimanded by the teacher because they make mistakes, they instead tend to fight the teacher with inappropriate actions. The formulation of the problem in this research is What is a Good Character in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru? The purpose of this research is to find out how good character is at SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in May -October 2019. This study used a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were all students in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru, amounting to 948 people from classes X, XI, XII. The sample in this study was taken using a proportional sampling technique with a total of 94 people. Data in this study were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Good Character is as much as 89% which means "Yes". Students in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru have good character in terms of Knowledge, Feelings, Responses, and actions taken while in the school environment.KeyWords:GoodCharacter

Abstract

Abstrak : Problem in this research is still its doily skill of student in study of art in course of study of teacher still use the way of conventional, that is: student less involved in study process, more teacher use discourse method, even do not use study model, learn only from teaching materials or teacher, process its his its heedless study empirically student, so that mentioned cause student keterampilam become to lower. Pursuant to the problems hence require to look for by its resolving road;street by using hand in glove model of its bearing empirically student in everyday life, and all important can make atmosphere learn productive and creative. Subjek in this research is class student of IV SD N 003 Tanjung Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu with amount of student 19 people. This research is done conducted in two cycle, cycle of I executed by thrice cycle and meeting of II is also done conducted by thrice meeting. Instrument data collecting at this research is observation sheet learn and student. This research in the form of Research Of Action Class ( PTK), this research aim to to increase skill make class student construction object of IV SD N 003 Tanjung Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu. Result of this research of menunjukan that strategy study of kreatif-produktif can uplift skill student in making construction object. This matter can be seen from average value which increasing. At elementary score of mean assess student that is 57,32 and at cycle of I become 66,23 experiencing of the make-up of with difference 8,91 poin. While mean result of learning student at cycle of II that is 76,61 experiencing of the make-up of with difference 10,38 poin. This of its meaning of strategy study of kreatif-produktif can uplift skill to make object of kontruksi of newspaper paper of is ex- class student IV SD N 003 Tanjung Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu..Keyword : Creative Strategy Study - Productive, Skill, Object Construction

Abstract

Abstract: This research is titled mixed code in the status of blackberry messenger user. This study aims to find the form of mixed code in the status contained in the blackberry messenger. This research type is qualitative research with descriptive method. The data of this study is to mix meaningful code mix the code out and mix the code into. Data were obtained using reading technique and data validity obtained by documentation technique. Then, the data were analyzed by identifying and classifying based on mixed forms of code. Based on data analysis that has been done, the writer finds mixed code in the form of mixed code outside the mixed code coming from Foreign language or speakers in communicating insert Foreign language into Indonesian, like mix English code. Mix code mixed code into mixed code that comes from the original language by inserting the local language into Indonesian, such as mix Minang language code, Java language, Malay language, Sundanese.Keywords: Mix code, mix code in and out, and blackberry messenger.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study was to describe performance of the of Junior High School science MGMP’s members in Pekanbaru on profession development. This study held on November 2016 until April 2017. The sample of this study was 50 person science MGMP’s members of Junior High School in Pekanbaru that selected by their activeness in following the MGMP’s activities. This study conducted with closed-ended and open–ended questionnaire. The closed-ended questionnaire consist of 30 items and divided into 4 indicator. The indicator are motivation, creativities, self efficacy and attitude, and 5 open-ended questionnaire as supporting data. The whole item questionnaire enclosed declared valid and reliable. Closed questionnaire of teachers performance was tested through Pearson correlation test, where all items declared valid. Reliability test through Cronbach's alpha test, was obtained 0.896 and showed the good criteria. Validity and reliability test were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Studies) version 18.00 for Windows. Data were analyzed descriptively. The result, the performance of science MGMP’s members Senior High School in Pekanbaru in profession development showed good criteria with 4,07 in average, which details as follows: Motivation showed good criteria with 4,02 in average, creativity showed good criterion with 3,90 in average, self efficacy showed good criterion with 4,09 in average, and attitude showed very good criterion 4,29 in average. Finally, it is known that the performance of Junior High School science MGMP’s members in Pekanbaru in profession development is being good on category.Key words: Teacher’s Performance, MGMP’s science, teacher profession.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out the effect of using Jigsaw method on the ability of the first year students of SMA PGRI Pekanbaru in comprehending narrative texts. This is a pre-experimental research conducted by using a pre-test – treatment – post-test design.. The population of this study was the first year students of SMA PGRI Pekanbaru which consisted of 3 classes with the total of 115 students. The sample of this study was X.2 of social science class with 40 students.The writer, during treat the students, found that students’ motivation to read the text increase. Besides, students got more confidences to split out their opinion while discussion and present the result in front of the class. After treatment was held, the writer distributed the tests. The instrument of the research was a reading test with multiple choice type. The result showed a strong correlation between Jigsaw method and students’ reading comprehension. The results of data analysis showed that the mean score of pre-test was 64.03, and the mean score of post-test was 82.00. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and the post-test because the t-test observed was higher than t-table. In other words, the alternative hypothesis of this research was accepted. It means that Jigsaw method can be used as an alternative strategy in the teaching of reading.Keywords: Jigsaw, Reading Comprehension, Narrative Text

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the teacher who still uses the teaching method with the old method and the difficulty of the students to understand the abstract science learning, thus causing the low value of the students' science. Implementation of STAD cooperative learning method using media audio visual is expected to be influential improving science achivements. This research uses quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of STAD cooperative learning method using media audio visual to the students' science achivements in the experimental class and to know the difference in the increase of students' science achivements between experimental and control classes. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 42 Pekanbaru with class III D as control class and class III E as experiment class. The research shows that there is an influence of STAD cooperative learning method using media audio visual and difference in the improvement of students' science achivements between the experimental and control class. In the experimental class there is an increase learning with average gain of 0.328 medium category. While the control class increased learning average gain of 0.086 low category. This research, there is influence of STAD cooperative learning method using media audio visual to students' learning result at experimental class with value (r) 0,701 with strong relation and coefficient determination () 49,10% STAD cooperative learning method using media audio visual, while 50,90% was influenced by other factors. Thus, STAD cooperative learning method using media audio visual influence on science learning results of students with improved learning outcomes than the application of lecture methods.Key Word: STAD, Audio Visual Media, Science Achivements

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on students’ mathematics learning outcomes of class X Science2 at Senior High School 1 Ujungbatu which still under the Minimum Criteria of mastery learning (KKM) that has been settled by the school that is 75. Based on the data of quiz (UH) on absolute-value equation and inequalities topic, there were 92% students who didn’t reach KKM. The purpose of this research was to improve the learning process and the students’ mathematic learning outcomes at class X Science.2 of Senior High School 1 Ujungbatu at the first semester in 2017/2018 academic year on rational and irrational inequalities topic, and linear equation system of three variables topic. This research was classroom action research with two cycles. The instruments used in this research were learning devices and the instruments of collecting data. The learning devices used were syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), and student woksheet (LKS). While the instruments of collecting data were observation sheets and students mathematic test. The observation sheets were used to find out the data of students and teacher activity during learning process which would analyzed qualitatively, and students mathematic test were used to collect the students’ mathematic learning outcomes which would analyzed quantitatively. The subject of this research was the students at class X Science.2 of Senior High School 1 Ujungbatu 2017/2018 academic year which consisting of 13 boys and 23 girls with heterogeneous ability. Based on the analyzed of students and teacher activity after implemented the scientific learning approach, it can be concluded that there was an improvement of learning process at each cycles. The analyzed of students’ mathematic learning outcomes data shows that there was an improvement of students’ mathematic learning outcomes in second cycle. There were 8% students that reach KKM in UH I, and its improved in UH II which 28% students who reach KKM. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that the implementation of scientific learning approach can improve the learning process and the students’ mathematic learning outcomes at class X Science2 of Senior High School 1 Ujungbatu.Key Word: Mathematic learning outcomes, scientific learning approach, classroom actionresearch

Abstract

Abstract: Science is the study of living organisms and life processes in the universe and find out about the nature systematically. So that the IPA is not just a collection of knowledge mastery of facts, concepts or principles whatever. Problems were found in this study is less varied learning so that students are less interested in following science subjects so that the value obtained is not satisfactory. To solve these problems, the authors make improvements with the goal of learning to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects style material using inquiry methods. It can be seen from the data collected, it looks at first students received grades above KKM only 11 students. The results of student learning continues to increase in cycle 1 and cycle 2 only 2 students who have not reached the KKM. The percentage of completeness of students increased from 39.29% at baseline to 92.86% score on the improvement of the second cycle. So from the results it can be concluded that the application of the method of inquiry can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects of Style in class IV B SD Negeri 67 Pematang Pudu.Key Words: Inquiry, Learning Outcomes, IPA

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to describe the code switching used on a conversation in 5 Ji Kara 9 Ji Made drama. The purpose of this research is to determine the type of code and the causes of code switching. The object of research in the form of 5 Ji Kara 9 Made drama. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research were (1) There are 14 data using code switching in dialogue conversations, 10 data included into the type of code switching situational and 4 data is included into the type of code metaphorical (2) the causes of the code switching caused by the speaker, the person said and hearer as: changing the situation from the formal into informal, to benefit themselves, to reinforce their opinions and to demonstrate the ability of a foreign language to the listener. Each of code used by each speaker through the communication to explain what has been achieved from the speech uttered by each speaker where the speech has its own meaning and purpose.Keywords: sociolinguistics, code switching, drama.
