Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to get the relationship of shoulder, wrist flexibility and hand-eye coordination with the badminton skill of short service backhand at the athlete PB Bank Riau Pekanbaru. This study uses quantitative analysis descriptive correlational approach. The population in this study were as many as 6 samples. While the sample technique used is total sampling (saturated sample), where all the population as the sample. After that, the data is processed with statistics, normality test with liliefors test and correlation at significant level α (0.05). The analysis in the calculation of the correlation between X1, X2 with. Where Rtabel at significant level α (0,05) = 0,811, Then obtained for Rcount (0,842) > (0,811), which means the hypothesis is accepted and the correlation between the strength of the shoulder, wrist flexibility and hand-eye coordination with the badminton skill of short service backhand at the athlete PB Bank Riau Pekanbaru. Then the multiple correlation coefficient between the shoulder, wrist flexibility and hand-eye coordination with the short service backhand hit is significant.Keywords : Shoulder and wrist flexibility, hand-eye coordination, and short servis backhand

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a descriptive quantitative research done to see the skills of PGSD students of Universitas Riau in writing official letter. Data collection techniques in the form of student test results to write an official letter.The validity of his research has been validated by the expert. The sample in this research are 162 students of class of 2014 and 2015 students of PGSD Universita Riau.Skills of PGSD students of Universitas Riau after analyzed by using categories, from 11 aspects that have been determined, get the result that on aspect of letter head average 44,65 with less category, aspects of a good category letter date with an average of 72.43,aspects of letter numbers with less category with an average of 31.48,on the attachment aspect of the category is very good with an average of 99.38, on the aspect of the subject of good category with an average of 80.86,on the aspect of the category sender is enough with an average of 65.06, on the aspect of the opening categorical category enough with an average of 68.31,on aspects of good category letter content with an average of 70.58,on the aspect of the less closing category cover with an average of 27.78,on the category sender aspects enough with an average of 68.64.And on the aspect of using a category sentence enough with an average of 63.95,From these results, the overall average of 63,021 is obtained with sufficient category, it indicates that the skills of PGSD Universitas Riau students are quite skilled.Key Words : Official Letter

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between emotional intelligence and discipline on children 5-6 years old at Pembina 1 Kindergarten Pekanbaru. The population of this research is 53 students 5-6 years old at Pembina 1 Kindergarten Pekanbaru. Because of the large population, determine the sample is using Random Sampling Technique, that is sample determination technique by taking random. For that set sample of 53 people using Taro Yamane formula. The technique of data analysis is using product moment correlation technique with SPSS for windows version 17 program. Based on the result of the hypothesis test there is a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and discipline in children in 5-6 years old at Pembina 1 Kindergarten Pekanbaru. This can be known from the value of the correlation coefficient of rxy =0,599 and significance level 0,000<0,05. The level of correlation between emotional intelligence and discipline included in the medium category with the value of determinant coefficient is equal to KD = r² x 100% = 35,8%, it means that emotional intelligence gives effect of 35,8% to discipline.Key Word: Discipline, Emotional Intelligence

Abstract

Abstract : The problems of the background for this study is the low student learning outcomes. So the researchers conducted a study with the aim to improve learning outcomes IPA Elementary students SD state class VA 001 Rantau Panjang Kiri through the application inquiry model. This research was conducted in April 2016. The subjects were students of class VA Elementary School 001 Rantau Panjang Kiri with the number of students 24 people consisting of 10 men and 14 women. Design of this research is classroom action research with two cycles. Which was held from 12 April 2016 to 03 Mei 2016. The results showed an increase in activity of student learning and teacher. Increased student learning outcomes in the first cycle than before tindakkan namely a base score of 41.7% of the 24 students who completed the first cycle of students and to 62.5% of students who pass out of 24 students, and the second cycle becomes 87.5% of students the completion of 24 students. Teacher activity increased in the first cycle of the first meeting of the percentage of teachers activity by 60.0%, and the second meeting in the first cycle to 65.0% increase as much as 5%. In the second cycle the first meeting be 75.0%, and the second meeting of the second cycle of 85.0% increased by 10%. While the activities of students at the first meeting of the first cycle of 55.0%, and the second meeting in the first cycle of 65.0% increased by 10%, and the second cycle at the first meeting amounted to 75.0%, and at the second meeting of the second cycle to 90,0% increased by 15%. Then the average - average yield increase student learning from a base score of 65.4, and the average - average in the first cycle increased to 69.8, an increase learning outcomes from the first cycle to the base score of 6.72%, further value - average cycle II also increased to 76.6, an increase learning outcomes of the second cycle to the base score of 17.12%. From the results of the study as described in the above that the use of inquiry learning model is correct then the teacher and student activities and student learning outcomes to be increased and better.Keywords: Inquiry Learning Model, Science Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: Letda Abdul Murad Saidun is a member of the military in the physical revolution Selatpanjang in the years 1945-1950. During the Japanese occupation, the Letda Abdul Murad Saidun joined the Japanese military organization heiho. Post-reading the text of the proclamation of Ir. Soekarno and Moh. Hatta, Letda Abdul Murad Saidun resumed his military career by joining the People's Security Agency (BKR), which is a progression to the Indonesian National Army (TNI) as the base defense in maintaining state sovereignty. After Letda Abdul Murad Saidun participate BKR in Selatpanjang, he is believed to be the deputy military commander of Company II Selatpanjang by Lieutenant. Col. Hasan Basri who is head of Regiment IV Riau. The purpose of this research is to know the life story of LetdaAbdul Murad Saidun, to find out how the role and fights Letda Abdul Murad Saidun uphold the independence of Indonesia in Selatpanjang, to determine the end of the match Letda Abdul Murad Saidun. The method used in this research is the method of historical and descriptive method in which data were collected through interviews and analyzed in its own language. The research location is in Selatpanjang Meranti Islands regency in Riau province. When the study started from the exam proposal for the final exam. Data collection techniques used were interview techniques, technical documentation and technical literature. From study said that Letda Abdul Murad Saidun is one of the military leaders in Selatpanjang. Based on these results, we can conclude that LietdaAbdul Murad Saidun has a big role in fighting to preserve the independence of Indonesia, especially in Selatpanjang.Keywords: Position, Maintain, Independence

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to find out whether there is a significant effect of collaborative writing on the students’ ability of SMP Kartika 1-5 Pekanbaru in writing descriptive texts. The design of this research was pre-experimental research with one group pre-test post-test design. A single group was selected to be a sample by using cluster random sampling. There were 28 students as the sample. The instrument was writing tests used both in pre-test and post-test. Then, the data were analyzed by using t-test formula. After the data were analyzed, it was found that t-test score was 9.785 while t-table score in significance level 5% df= 27 was 2.051. Since t-test was higher than t-table, it can be concluded that alternative hypothesis was accepted. It means that “there is a significant effect of collaborative writing on the students’ ability of SMP Kartika 1-5 Pekanbaru in witing descriptive texts”. Based on the research findings, it is suggested that collaborative writing can help the students improve their writing ability especially in writing descriptive texts.Key Words: Effect, Collaborative Writing, Writing Ability, Descriptive Text

Abstract

Abstract: this research was effected by the observations at the time of the teacher in the process of teaching and learning in the classroom. Some much less motivated students will be learning provided by the teacher, since there is no variation in media support to help learning activities. The purpose of this research was to see the connections between media interactive learning with the learning motivation of students of class IV In SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru On Learning the the science of nature. This research was carried out in class IV SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru consisting of class IVa, IVb, and IVc. The sample in this study is the whole grade IV in SD164 Pekanbaru with a total of State In SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru 127 students. Sampling techniques are used namely total sampling. The results of the research there is a significant relationship between media use interactive learning with the learning motivation of students of class IV SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru On Learning the the science of nature, with the results of the calculations is: class IV A rcount of incoming 0.505 within 0.40 – 0.599 with a degree of relationship "strong enough". A major contribution was 25.5% which means it is the motivation of learning is influenced by the use of interactive learning media as well as having significant relationships are evidenced by tcount 3.701 greater than ttable is 2.021. For class IV B also noted that rcount of 0.816 that fall into the range of 0.80 – 1.000 with the level of relations "very strong". Great contribution is 66.6% and has proven a significant relationship of tcount greater than ttable 9.04 is 2.019. And the last class IV C Note that rcount of 0.499 that fall into the range of 0.40 – 0.599 with a degree of relationship "strong enough". a major contribution was 24.9% and has proven a significant relationship of 3.644 tcount greater than ttable is 2.021.Keywords: Interactive Learning, Media, Learning Motivation

Abstract: This research aims to develop an effective way of learning materialappropriate for students of Class XI SMK/SMA-equivalents, and descriptions of theworthiness of this aspect of the matter, the clarity of the Systematics of matter, imagesupport, freshness material, the completeness of the material, and support videos orgames. This research use research and development (R&D). With the data analysistechniques using the validity of data. Source data obtained from the supervising lecturer1 and 2 teachers, 1 guidance and counseling SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UNRIPekanbaru, and 35 students of Class XI AP1 SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UNRIPekanbaru. These materials are tested to the students with the allocation of a 2 hourlesson (2 x 45). This material consists of understanding learning and other forms oflearning, understanding of effective learning, effective learning methods, factors thatinfluence success, effective learning strategies, factors that affect learning effectively.The research of the development of this material shows the quality of the materialproduced is on the "good" category, with the acquisitionscore for overall aspects of3.58 assessment.Keywords: guidance counselling, how to study effectively

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes by applying the cooperative learning model Think Pair Square (TPS) approach. This research consists of two cycles, each of which has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects were class VIIG students of SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year as many as 32 people, 16 male students and 16 female students. The instruments of data collection are observation sheets and tests of mathematics learning outcomes. The observation sheet was analyzed qualitatively descriptive, while the mathematics learning outcomes test was analyzed quantitatively descriptive statistics. Qualitative analysis shows that there is an improvement in the learning process from before action to cycle I and cycle II. Students are seen to be actively participating and increasingly independent in the learning process carried out, such as in solving mathematical problems given, presenting the results of problem solving and providing learning conclusions. Quantitative analysis shows that the number of students who achieved knowledge KKM increased from the base score (28.12%) to UH I (40.62%) to UH II (56.25%). For skills from UH I (28%) to UH II (62.5%). The results of this study indicate that the application of the cooperative learning model Think Pair Square (TPS) approach can improve the learning process and improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students in VIIG class 1 Siak Hulu Public Middle School 2018/2019 in the subject matter of Social Arithmetic.Key Words : Mathematics Achievement, Learning Cooprative Approach Think Pair Square (TPS)

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of field observations on listening skills through storytelling with finger puppets in children aged 4-5 years is still low and teachers are still using methods that dominate and  not varied. The problems that arise in the listening skills of children aged 4-5 years play group Al-Abrar Teberau Panjang. This study aims to determine the increase listening skills through storytelling with finger puppets in children aged 4-5 years in a play group Al-Abrar Teberau Panjang district Gunung Toar. The sample used in this study amounted to 15 childrens. Based on data analysis and  the results showed that percentage of listening skills through storytelling with finger puppets increase significantly. Can be seen from the results of prior actions is 39.2% and then perform an action using a finger puppet, subsequently implemented the results obtained 41.62% next actions result 74.4%. If seen before by the actions that are in the low category as many as 12 children or 80%, moderate category as many as 3 children or 20% and there is no higher category or 0%. It can be seen that after the treatment, the listening skills of children has increased very significantly that there are children who are in the high category as many as 5 children or 33.33%, moderate category as many as 10 people or 66.34%, and there is no children in the low category or 0%.
