Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to describe the learning motivation of physics science with implementation of Pictorial Riddle. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, with a one-shot case study design. Samples in this research is all student of VIII B classes with total of 25 students. The instrument of data in this research is a ARCS motivation questionnaire. Analysis of the data in this study was a descriptive analysis that was used to view the category maotivation on learning physics science with the of use keller motivation formula. The analysis data shows score of students motivation are 5,33 with good category. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementation of Pictorial Riddle Learn Method can be used as an alternative method in the learning process in the classroom VIII SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru.Keywords: ARCS motivation, light reflection, pictorial riddle.

Abstract

Absract: The problem in this research is the low result study of Social scince in Fourth grade students of Elementary School number 010 Sialang Makmur,Kelayang district.The average of daily test value is 62,75, it can be seen from only 6 person from 20 students or 30% that achieve the criteria of passing (KKM) that is 70. For this reason ,the research is done.The purpose of the research is to improve the result of Social science of the Fourth graders of the Sialang makmur,Kelayang district by implementing the coperative type Numbered Heads Together (NHT). With the formulation of study is Can the implementation of learning model type Numbered Heads Together improve the result of Social science subject of the Fourth grade students of Elementary School number 010 Sialang Makmur, Kelayang? The design of study used is class action research that is done in two cycles where every cycle has two meetings and once for daily test with the total number of students is 20 person, 9 girl students and 11 boy students. Data collected are observational data and result data of study.From the analysis of teacher’s activities,in the first cycle meeting 1 the result gotten is 12 (50%) which category is ‘Fair’. In the second meeting the result gotten is 15 (62,5%) which categry is ‘Fair.’And continued at cycle II meeting 4 increase in the result become 20 (83,3%).which category is ‘Good’,and the fifth meeting,the result is increased which score 22 (91,6%) which category ‘Very Good’.From data analysis of sudents’activities meeting 1 cycle I is gotten the score is 12 (50%) which category is ‘Fair”,increased in meeting 2 which score 16 (66,6%) which category is’Fair”. In the cycle II meeting 4 increase become 20 (83,3%) which category’ Good’. Then, in meeting 5 there is increasing in result with the score 23 (95,8%) which category is ‘Very Good’.In the first daily test , there is an increasing result from the basic score 11,1% with the average 69,75.And in the second daily test ,the score increase 37% of the basic score with the average 86,00. From this research, the conclusion is by implementing cooperative model of learning type Numbered Heads Together can increase the result study of Social Science of The Fourth Grade Sudents of Elementary School number 010 Sialang Makmur, Kelayang, Indragiri Hulu RegencyKey word:Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Learning outcomes of Social Class

Abstract

Abstract : this research puppose to discover before and after a given group guidance, know the difference and how big an influence on students ability to resolve conlicts on aspect of collaboration, compromise, accommodate, dominates of class Social SMA N 12 Pekanbaru academic year 2013/2014. This research methodology is Quasi Eksperiment, then use the experimental design is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection tool used was a questionnaire. Where samples were 30 people with a random sampling technique. The description of students ability of conlict resolution before given group guidance on aspect collaboration and compromise in medium category, while acommodate and dominate in high category. After a given group guidance on aspect collaboration, compromise, and accommodate are in the high category, and dominate are in the medium category. Based on the analysis of data by using the ttest and ttable on aspect of collaboration (9,8>2,021), compromise (8,6>2,021) accommodate (3,8>2,021), dominate (9,5>2,021). Group guidance services to contribute to aspects of collaboration by 42%, compromise by 68%, accommodate by 12% and dominate 53% to the improvement of students ability to resolve conflicts of class X Social SMA N 12 Pekanbaru accademic year 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Group Guidance, Ability of Conflict Resolution

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted because of the low results of fourth grade students learn science and SDS Muhammadiyah Mandau sub. Of the 25 students who achieve KKM many as 10 people (40%) while students who did not complete 15 (60%) with an average 60.tujuan research to Improve Learning Outcomes Science In Grade IVB SDS Muhammadiyah Mandau sub with the application of Quantum Learning Model teaching. The results obtained by the average value of the basic score of 60 increase in cycle 1 by 22.66% to 73.6. In cycle 11 value - average students also increased by 36.66% to 82. On the basis of completeness score IPA student learning outcomes is only 40% (not finished). After the professor of applied learning model Quantum Teaching in cycle 1 classical completeness increased to 64% (complete), the classical completeness 11 cycles obtained are increased increased to 92%. Activities of teachers at the first meeting 75% good category, increasing at a meeting of 2 to 83.3% with very good category. In the second cycle 1 meeting increased to 87.5% categorized very well, increasing to 95.8% at the confluence of two very good category. Activities of students in cycle 1 the first meeting activity students acquire a percentage of 70.8% in both categories. The second meeting of cycle 1 to be 79.6% in both categories. In cycle 11 the first meeting of student activity increased to 83.3% with very good category, and at the second meeting of the cycle 11 back increased to 95.8% with very good category. Key words : Quantum Teaching, Learning Outcomes IPA

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to finding out the effect of PLEASE strategy on the ability of the first year students of SMP N 5 Pekanbaru in paragraph writing. This study was a pre experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. A single group was chosen to be the sample of this study by cluster random sampling to get six treatments. There were 36 students joined this study as experimental group. A writing test was used both in pre and post-test. In order to know the difference between pre and post-test and to analyze the hypotheses, t-test formula by Hatch and Farhady (1982) was used. After analyzing the data, it was found out that t-test score was 19.50 while t-table was 2.03 with the level of significant 5% and 2.72 with the level of significance 1%. Since t-test was higher than t-table, it can be concluded that alternative hypothesis was accepted and there was a significant effect of PLEASE strategy on the ability of the first year students of SMP N 5 Pekanbaru in paragraph writing.Keywords: PLEASE strategy, writing ability, junior high school students

Abstract

Abstract: this research is motivated by the result of learning mathematics of class student VIII6 SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru which is still under the minimum mastery criteria with a persentage of 37,5% only 15 students from 40 students who achieve the minimum mastery criteria on the subject matter of the circle. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning process and increase the student?s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative learning structured approach Numbered Heads Together. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIII6 SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the subject of as many as 40 students, consist of 22 boys and 18 girls. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. The observation sheet was analyzed descriptive qualitative while the test of mathematics learning outcomes was analyzed statistically. Based on qualitative analiysis showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test IIare respectively 15 person (37,5%), 20 person (50%) and 27 person (67,5%). Results of this research indicates that application of the Cooperative learning structured approach Numbered Heads Together can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class VIII6 SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2016/2017.Key words: Students? Abstract

Abstract: Consumption expenditure as a function of incomeis a huge factor influence on the behavior of rubber farmers in making consumption. Therefore, the need to increase the maximum income, high-low due to the rubber farmers' income effect on consumption levels. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of consumption of rubber farmers and to determine the effect of earned income on the consumption patterns of rubber farmers. The sample in this study was 63 rubber farmers, who analyzed and descriptive kuantitatif lenear simple regression methods based on the theory ofthe consumption function. The results of the study, showed the rubber farmers' income used to meet consumption needs, such as children's education, medical expenses, transportation costs and other costs. 67.4% of consumption is influenced by income. 41.1% of food consumption is influenced by income. 62.3% of non-food consumption is affected by income and the rest is influenced by other things. Changes in income has the effect of 0.802% on the consumption behavior.  Keywords: income, consumption.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: This study discusses about conflict resolution in the novel Perempuan Suci created by Qaisra Shahraz. This study also discusses about internal conflict and external conflict are found in the novel Perempuan Suci created by Qaisra Shahraz. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method that aims to describe how internal conflict resolution and external conflict resolution in the novel Perempuan Suci created by Qaisra Shahraz. The results of the research is a classification conflict resolution, that is internal conflict resolution and external conflict resolution in the novel Perempuan Suci created by Qaisra Shahraz. Abstract

Abstract: This research is background based on mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIA students of SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru which is still under Minimum Criteria of mastery learning that has been settled by the school that is 73. This type of research is the classroom action research with 2 cycles. The subject in this research were 16 male students and 22 female students with heterogeneous ability. The aims of this research are to improve the learning process and improve student’s mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIA of SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru in odd semester of the 2017/2018 academic year based on KD 1.3 Understanding relations and functions and on KD 1.4 Determining the value of the function. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets that used to observe teacher and students activities during the learning process and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in descriptive narative, while the students mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic descriptive. Based on the data analysis of teacher and student activity after applying the cooperative learning model of Think Pair Square Structural Approach, teacher and student activities have done well and had an improvement at each meeting. Based on the data analysis of student learning outcomes, there is an improve in student learning outcomes in each cycle. Based on the analysis of KKM achievement, there were 8 students who reached KKM at UH 1 with percentage 21% and 21 students at UH 2 with percentage of 55,26%. Based on the result of research show that, there is an improve of students who get very high criteria and the decrease of students who get enough and low criteria. From this research it can be concluded that the implementation model of Think Pair Square structural approach can improve the learning process and also to improve student’s of mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIA of SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru.Key words: Mathematics learning outcome, Cooperative learning, Think Pair Square, Class action research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was carried out because of the low yield learning IPA of fourth grade students of SDN 001 Rokan IV Koto, KKM assigned in school, that is 75.From the 27 students, who reached the KKM was just 10 students (37,04%), whereas students who have not yet reached the KKM was 17 students (62.96%) with an average rating of class 64.11. The purpose of this research is to improve learning achievement of IPA studies of fourth grade students of SDN 001Rokan IV Koto with the implementation of the strategy of multiple intelligences. The research results obtained average value score increased 64.11 basic cycle I of 13.22% to 72.59. In cycle II, the average value of the students also experienced an increase of 27.37% to 81.66. On a base score of classical succes learning of student was 37,04% IPA (not succes). After multiple intelligences strategies applied in cycle I studied classical succes of students increased to be 59.26% (not succes) and on cycle II classical succes learning of students increased to 85.19% (succes). The activity of the teacher in the first meeting of the cycle I got was 64.28%. The second meeting was increased to 78.57%, and at the third meeting of the cycle I increased to 82.14%. At the first meeting of the cycle II teacher activity increased to 89.28%. At the second meeting increased to 92.85% by very good category. The activity of the students at the first meeting of the cycle I got was 60.71%. The second meeting was increased to 75.00% by enough category, and at the third meeting of the cycle I increased to 78.57%. On first meeting in cycle II student activity increased to 82.14%. At the second meeting increased to 85.71%. From this research it can be concluded that by implementing a strategy of multiple intelligences can improve IPA learning achievement of fourth Grade students of SDN 001Rokan IV Koto.Keywords: Strategy of multiple intelligences, Achievement of IPA study
