Abstract

Teknologi containerization sebagai implementasi virtualisasi di level OS meraih popularitas di beberapa tahun terakhir untuk menggantikan beberapa peranan virtual machine. Dalam implementasinya, seringkali dibutuhkan sejumlah container untuk menjalankan sebuah peran, sehingga diperlukan sistem orkestrasi untuk proses scheduling dan management container. Namun container scheduler yang tersedia pada sistem orkestrasi seperti Kubernetes umumnya hanya berfokus pada ketersediaan system resource dan general threshold. Padahal optimasi dalam hal efisiensi cluster sambil mempertahankan performa cluster tentulah penting untuk diimplementasikan sehingga dapat meminimalkan biaya operasional.Optimasi pada container scheduler dilakukan secara multi-objektif dengan fokus pada efisiensi cluster dan throughput aplikasi yang di-schedule. Optimasi dilakukan dengan memanipulasi jumlah replika container yang menyala dan alokasinya di dalam cluster berdasarkan jumlah request yang diterima aplikasi. Proses optimasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan algoritma Epsilon-Dominance Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (Ɛ-NSGA-II).Hasil pengujian dalam cluster berisi 5 node menunjukkan bahwa proses optimasi scheduling dapat menghasilkan keputusan alokasi container yang optimal dan sesuai target yang ditentukan user. Proses algoritma Ɛ-NSGA-II untuk menghasilkan alokasi tersebut juga dapat selesai dalam rentang waktu yang pendek.

Abstract

Birth certificate is one of the documents that is mandatory for every citizen to have. This document records the information upon someone’s birth and an official acknowledgement of a country on that person’s existence. Birth certificate is a legal document and is an acceptable form of identification for other documents such as a diploma. As one of Indonesia’s learning institute, Petra Christian University needs its students birth certificate as a solid proof upon their identification and as a base to publish a diploma. The extraction of information is being done manually but with the rapid development of technology, it is now possible to obtain the information within a birth certificate automatically. Research about information extraction on Birth Certificate hasn’t been done yet before, but similar research with the object of Identity Card has been done using Template Matching with the accuracy of 17-39%. This research uses Run Length Smoothing Algorithm and Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network as its primary methods. Run Length Smoothing Algorithm is used to segment words in a birth certificate image. The word in an image will then be translated into a text in string form by Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network. To know which words that contain the wanted information, the sequence of the words and specific keywords are being used. The result of this research will be information upon the full name, birth date, place of birth and the gender of the birth certificate holder. The result from tests that were done is an accuracy of 12.936% upon finding the wanted information and 60.086% for words translation from image to string by CRNN.

Abstract

There are several types of artificial intelligence that have been created by humans. Artificial intelligence is used to calculate, determine decisions, translate one language to another. In addition, various large technology companies such as Google and Apple have also created their own artificial intelligence, namely the Google Assistant and Siri. Of course the market segments of these two companies compete with each other, and so far Google Assistant which is more supportive of Android is more widely used than Siri.Google Assistant is an  artificial intelligence that can help as a personal Assistant and integrated is in many ways with Smartwatch, Android Mobile, Google Home, car, TV, and others. Third-party developers can integrate their Apps with Google Assistant.This application uses Google Assistant, Dialogflow and Neo4j. This application helps study bible and see Biblical context better by using a recommendation system, and further the artificial Intelligence could make the conversation more natural. Users will be able to search various biblical data ranging from verse searches, outline verses, strong numbers, devotional, dictionaries about biblical data.

Abstract

Jenis mobil merupakan salah satu properti dari mobil yang penting untuk diidentifikasi. Untuk melakukan identifikasi secara otomatis, banyak cara yang telah diimplementasi untuk mencapai tujuan identifikasi jenis mobil secara cepat dan tepat. Untuk identifikasi gambar, salah satu metode yang terkenal adalah Faster R-CNN yang cukup cepat dan tepat untuk melakukan identifikasi gambar. Namun untuk ketepatannya masih belum maksimal. Metode lain yang tersedia adalah YOLO dimana metode ini akan lebih cepat dalam melakukan identifikasi.Penggunaan kedua metode dalam arsitektur yang akan dibangun bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akurasi kebenaran identifikasi jenis mobil. Kedua metode diharapkan dapat saling membantu dalam pengecekan dan menghasilkan hasil yang lebih baik dari masing-masing metode.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memudahkan pemilik hewan peliharaan khususnya anjing untuk memberi makan hewan peliharaannya walaupun berada di tempat yang berbeda. Hal inilah yang memicu adanya pembuatan aplikasi mobile berbasis android untuk mengontrol alat makan tersebut yang telah dilengkapi oleh arduino beserta komponennya agar dapat melakukan automatisasi pemberian makanan. Pemakaian aplikasinya sederhana, cukup memasukkan hari, waktu, dan porsi yang diinginkan dalam menu di aplikasi dan pencet tombol simpan, maka data akan tersimpan di database dan akan dibaca oleh arduino. Ketika waktu arduino sama dengan waktu tersimpan di database, maka makanan akan otomatis keluar. Tetapi makanan yang keluar terkadang tidak sesuai dengan porsi yang kita inputkan karena adanya factor tertentu yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut.

Abstract

Android In-Room Guest Interactive Tablet Applications at Grand Duta Hotel in Palu. Currently, Grand Duta Hotel still manages the ordering process manually. The ordering process that still uses the phone sometimes happens a miss commucation error. This resulted in the reservation being delayed or ordering not as desired. Features found in this application hotel guests can place orders in each section. For example in the Room Service for ordering food or drinks. This process is directly connected to the Room Service without having to go through the Front Desk again.The end result of this application development is able to make the ordering process online, can receive direct notification about the order can be processed or not. And facilitate employees in checking orders from guests.

Abstract

Organization X is an organization working in the field of education from kindergarten to high school and vocational secondary school. Organization X are now starting to implement an IT system for all business processes that exist in the organization. All the IT services are intended to facilitate the organization's business processes, and the services provided to consumers can be brought to its best. The problem that occurs in Organization X related to the management system is still manually operated, IT equipment such as hardware, network and servers do not meet the requirements to operate well. That problem requires a risk analysis to provide a proper plan of IT services that will be used by the Organization X.In this thesis, the risk analysis assessment is performed based on the condition of the current IT services in Organization X, so as to determine the if Organizational X can assist the planning process of IT services in the future. The analysis is based on comprehension of the business model and strategy, an identification of IT Audit Universe, Control Objective Plan and Organize 1-3, as well as evaluating IT risk factors found. The process of risk analysis is performed using the method of Global Technology Audit Guidelines (GTAG), COBIT 4.1 Plan and Organis 1-3, OWASP Risk Methodology.Based on the examination, a number of IT risks in the Organization X were found, i.e. IT people are not fully involved in determining business goals, resulting in IT Division can not provide maximum role in giving an idea of the progress of IT-related organizations. No particular team established to plan the long-term IT services, resulting in no clear plan on a long-term IT of an organization.

Abstract

Acne vulgaris is a common skin disease found in men of all ages and sexes. Acnes have different types according to their severity.In this research, an application were developed to detect, do segmentation, and process the classification an acne object in human’s face. The process begins with the insertion of several seed points on a photo. Each of those seed points were developed further into a region that mask the whole acne using Region Growing Method. Afterward, the regions were grouped together with other acne of similiar features using Self Organizing Map.According to the experiment’s result, the Region Growing Method gives a satisfying result to do a segmentation on an acne object. But it should be pointed out that every different acne object requires different threshold to achieve an ideal result. Self Organizing Map gives an undesirable result, as the input photos with different skin colors and lightning conditions affect the accuraccy of the result.

Abstract

Nowadays, information technology has been highly developed in various fields, one of which is in the employment field. The number of job provider applications that appear on the Android platform is still growing.  For example, the famous job provider applications are jobsDB, JobStreet and LinkedIn. Companies use these applications to ease and simplify the performance of employees in the Human Resource Department. In addition, the use of these job provider applications can save paper usage and reduce cost. The downside of these job provider applications that already exist today is the absence of methods to help both sides between the company and the job seekers to take the necessary decisions. Based on these problems, then the making of a decision support system application for employment candidates) based on Android. The decision produced from AHP will be more specific and has its own weight based on the value of each criterion that are given by the company. The development of this decision support system is preceded by the design and analysis of the recruitment process by the Human Resource in PT TR, PT RM, and PT MS.The end result of the development of this system is in the form of a decision support system application for employment candidates based on Android. The development for this application is using the Ionic framework. Testing is done by asking some of the companies and prospective employee candidates to try out the application.
