Abstract

We propose a new method of feature extraction in orderto improve the effective of image retrieving by using apartial Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG)compressed images algorithm. Prior to that, we prune theimages database by pre-query step based on coloursimilarity, in order to eliminate image candidates. Ourfeature extraction can be carried out directly to JPEGcompressed images. We extract two features of DCTcoefficients, DC feature and AC feature, from a JPEGcompressed image. Then we compute the Euclideandistances between the query image and the images in adatabase in terms of these two features. The image querysystem will give each retrieved image a rank to define itssimilarity to the query image. Moreover, instead of fullydecompressing JPEG images, our system only needs to dopartial entropy decoding. Therefore, our proposed schemecan accelerate the effectiveness of retrieving images.According to our experimental results, our system is notonly highly effective but is also capable of performingsatisfactoril.KEY WORDS: JPEG, DC coefficient, image retrieval, compresseddomain

Abstract

Covid-19 has brought some negative impact globally, including the declining interest to register in universities due to economic unaffordability. This study will obtain information about how students perceive Darmajaya in the middle of this Covid-19 spread. For the marketing area, this information might give an additional strategy on how to attract new students in a new different way in increasing the number of total new admissions. This study used the approach of qualitative phenomenological study. To acquire the data, the researcher used the deep-interview method. A sample of 14 students of Darmajaya’s first year-students and a number of selection criteria were identified. From the informants, it was obtained that Darmajaya had built a good perception among the students regarding the service quality, accreditation, lecturers’ quality, achievements, web, and social media accessibilities as well as popular events and competitions but it needed an improvement in scholarship socialization, needed to expose more of the students’ organizations (UKM) in social media and needed to enrich the major/courses in order to attract the new enrollers to register.Keyword: Students, Education, Pandemic Covid 19, Perceptions, Marketing strategy

Abstract

Vehicle theft cases continue to increase every year. This is very troubling vehicle users both two-wheeled vehicles or four-wheeled vehicles. The security system used today is still using analog, so it needs to be replaced using a digital system to improve the security system. The use of electronic control systems almost covers most of everyday human life. The electronic control system is practical and efficient, so many people like it. Digital electronic control systems are made to replace analog systems because they have advantages, namely practical, efficient, and more futuristic. design and construction of the use of E-KTP as a car securitysystem, this system is to ensure its security as a communication medium using SMS, to ensure the security of vehicle owner data. in conducting research the research methods used design methods. data from the study in the form of electrical and starter on / off sub system testing, short message system testing. Keywords: ArduinoNaNo, E-Ktp, Car, short message system

Abstract

This research discussed the analysis and development of the software as a service-based (SAAS) private cloud computing system at State Senior High School 1 Metro. The objective of this study was providing both theoretical and practical benefits especially for State Senior High School 1 Metro so that it presented an integrated data center for the future. The SaaS-based private cloud computing system was discussed only through the prototype model. The objective of this study was developing the SaaS-based private cloud computing system for sharing data or files (e.g., student data, teacher data, academic files, and learning files) at The State Senior High School 1 Metro. The data collecting technique used in this study were through observations and interviews. The result of the data analysis was that The State Senior High School 1 Metro needed a software-based private cloud computing application that was able to be accessed by students, teachers, and academic staff. The result of this study was that the software-based private cloud computing application was able to facilitate State The Senior High School 1 Metro to access the data and files because the data and files needed to be integrated. Keywords: Private Cloud Computing, Software as a Service (SaaS), Prototype

Abstract

In order to reach out to the people of this country, they had been able to use the milling of the solar panels, but they did not have enough solar energy. It needed fuel was very variation at each level of Rice Milling Factory (RMF) such as were Small Capacity of Rice Milling Factory (SCRMF), Medium Capacity of Rice Milling Factory (MCRMF), and Big Capacity of Rice Milling Factory (SCRMF). In this research consisted of 3 levels and 9 samples, there were 3 samples of  Small Capacity of Rice Milling Factory (SCRMF), 3 samples of Medium Capacity of Rice Milling Factory (MCRMF), and 3 samples of Big Capacity of Rice Milling Factory (SCRMF). The research system took a research for one year. In order to achieve the highest level of fuel.  The MCRMF was being used efficient for the purpose of solar energy. In the current year, MCRMF has been used of solar fuel to 9.30 liters per hour per 0.60 ton of rice products, SCRMF of solar fuel to 13.97 liters per hour per 1.00 ton of rice products, BCRMF of solar fuel to 18.02 liters per hour per 2.00 tons of rice products. Keywords: Solar fuel, energy efficiency, Rice Milling Factory (RMF), Small Capacity of Rice,                       Milling Factory (SCRMF), Medium Capacity of Rice Milling Factory (MCRMF), Big Capacity of Rice Milling Factory (BCRMF), rice products.

Abstract

The implementation phase at FAST method is established after the Construction Phase is already completed with a reference used in implementing the application based on use case, class diagram andactivity diagram fully designed at the previous phase. The testing conducted useswhite box testing. Of the advantages is when the application is tested, it can find out codes and strategies that take a role in developing the functions of each application module effectively. This seems to support the information system development with FAST method which one of its benefits to give a performance and accurate information. At this phase there are several things to test, namely: unit testing, static and dynamic analysis, scope of statement and mutation test. The case study used in implementing the application is the form supporting data at Lampung State Polytechnic.Keyword: class diagram , Construction Phase, FAST,  use case, activity diagram, white box testing.

Abstract

Scholarships can be interpreted as financial assistance given to students who have achievements and economic limitations. Selection of scholarship recipients atSTMIK Pringsewu still uses manual selection. Manual selection has a weakness in making selections using many criteria, so that it can lead to errors and inconsistentassessments. This study uses the VIKOR method as a ranking method for determining scholarship recipients with criteria set by the leadership, namely: Achievement Index, semester, electric power and home electricity bills. The VIKOR method is a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method that can be used to select more than one criteria. The VIKOR method focuses on ranking by compromising on alternative outcomes and conflicting criteria. The results showed that the VIKOR method can assist the selection process and determine the right scholarship recipient. In addition, the VIKOR method can create a ranking of alternative compromises from a number of existing alternatives Keywords— Scholarship, VIKOR, MADM, MCDM

Abstract

NOSQL databases are in the base of storage of Big Data. They can store large volumes of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Using NOSQL database to store ontology can take advantage of Big Data storage. This give benefits in storing Indonesian folk songs storage that usually vary and have sparse / incomplete data. This paper illustrates an approach to store data of Indonesia folk songs in NOSQL based database. We choose to deal with MongoDB. We present our steps of approach in storing, collecting, analyzing and retrieving ontology on NOSQL based database. Keywords : Ccloud Computing, E-learning Systems, Implementation, and Strategies.
