Abstract

Ketrampilan berpikir kritis adalah kemampuan menggunakan akal, pikiran, ide serta kreatifitas untuk mengerjakan, mengembangkan, mengambil keputusan dalam menyelesaikan tugas dan menghasilkan nilai. Berpikir merupakan salah satu dimensi mental yang berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengelola sumber informasi pengetahuan. Proses mental menjadi salah satu bagian dari kajian bimbingan dan konseling. Layanan bimbingan dan konseling memiliki peran strategis untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam mencapai perkembangan aspek pribadi, sosial, belajar dan karir yang optimal. Bimbingan dan konseling sebagai bagian integral dalam sistem pendidikan di sekolah memiliki peran untuk memberikan layanan profesional terhadap dimensi psikologis peserta didik. Terdapat berbagai bentuk strategi yang dapat di terapkan oleh konselor untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik. Layanan bimbingan dan konseling merupakan alat penting dalam pendidikan untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam membentuk masa depan. Sebab, perkembangan potensi peserta didik secara utuh hanya akan terjadi dalam lingkungan pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang kondusif, salah satunya difasilitasi oleh konselor dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah

Abstract

Manusia berkembang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah budaya. Budaya dalam keberhasilan konseling itu sangat berpengaruh, karena budaya dapat menentukan dan menemukan metode memahami individu dalam melakukan proses bimbingan dan konseling, serta teknik apa yang cocok dalam proses layanan yang akan diberikan kepada klien. Mengingat bahwa klien yang akan di berikan pelayanan oleh konselor itu berbeda-beda, baik dari asal, ideologi, adat istiadat yang tidak secara langsung akan mempengaruhi sikap, tingkah laku klien tersebut. Oleh karena itu konselor harus mempunyai kemampuan dan kepribadian yang bisa menyesuaikan dengan kondisi klien yang akan ia temui nanti

Abstract

Every people in their life must be preoccupied with all kinds of activities and surely every activity is carried out has a good effect or can make a problem. A counsellor as a professional in Guidance and Counseling by having a specific object to helping and development an effective daily life and handling that effective life to individual or client must being prepared when that client trust the expert to help and handle every problem. In that execution a counsellor must apply and uphold ethics and values counsellor must have consciousness to do a good job in order to upgrading client trust so can help development and solve the problem.

Abstract

Counseling is the provision of services in the form of assistance provided by professional staff to a person or group of individuals with the aim of developing an effective daily life and handling problematic daily lives with an emphasis on independent individuals who are able to control themselves through the implementation of various types services and support activities in the learning process. Ethics is an action about what is considered good and what is considered bad and about moral rights and obligations, a set of principles or values relating to morals, values regarding right and wrong that are adhered to by a group or society. In the counseling process mistakes or biases often occur due to differences in cultural backgrounds between counselor and client which result in ineffectiveness in providing counseling services. We need to know that culture can be studied or seen through the way a person communicates, because culture is communication, while communication is part of culture.

Abstract

Religion is very important for human life. Religion and life is an attractive topic in daily discussion because it can be reached in the science of ontology. Most people think that clients commit crimes because they lack religious and moral knowledge. So that the role of the counselor who carries out counseling must understand and understand how to guide clients and solve their problems based on religion by analyzing them ontologically. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collected in this study is using the documentation method. In this study, data analysis follows Miles & Huberman guidelines, namely data collection, data display, data reduction and conclusions. Someone with religious instincts will be aware of the concepts and conditions regarding the potential to know God. Religion can provide a sense of security, peace and happiness to every adherent. Happiness will activate the beta endorphins. The solution to every problem regarding the soul in religion, especially the Islamic religion, so that a healthy and positive soul is maintained is by going through everything that has become an obligation in following orders and avoiding oneself from the prohibitions that have been set by Allah SWT.

Abstract

The composition of the sex-based group is operationally defined as three groups in the guidance group which are formed homogeneously and heterogeneously based on gender, namely: the male homogeneous group, the female homogeneous group, and the heterogeneous sex group. This study aims to direct the influence of gender-based group composition in group guidance groups on group dynamics. The research was conducted through a quasi-experimental approach with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were 30 randomly selected from students at SMP Negeri 1 Pungging. The One-Way ANOVA test analysis results showed a p-value (sig. 0.000), so it was known that p <0.05. These calculations prove that gender-based group composition in the guidance group has a significant positive effect on group dynamics. The implication of this finding is that guidance groups for junior high school students will be effective if they are made up homogeneously based on gender, especially the female sex.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling as a science that is rooted in philosophy. Knowledge in guidance and counseling is defined as the study of regular and systematic processes, procedures or steps to assist individuals (clients) in improving themselves, overcoming problems and achieving other specific goals. The process of human science is a process to seek the truth and obtain knowledge. Likewise knowledge in guidance and counseling, can be seen based on the role of science as a scientific activity carried out by the scientific method and then proven systematically.

Abstract

The study of this article focuses on the value produced by education in Indonesia contained in Article 1 Paragraph 1 of Law No. 20/2003 concerning the National Education System, which explains that education is to create a learning atmosphere and learning process, so that students can actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills with the aim of having value for themselves, society, nation and country. This is realized consciously and planned by the teachers. Education is successful if the values in developing the potential for religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills can be implemented properly by the teacher and this potential develops in each student.

Abstract

Resilience can be developed from cultural support, so the uniqueness and the whole cultural construct are important to take into account. The ability of individuals to be able to adapt from the pressures experienced in their lives through the cultural values ​​of the surrounding environment is a personal competence that must be developed by educators. Cultural resilience can be developed through the pedagogy of peace. The purpose of this article is to describe the cultural resilience of PGRI Palembang University students and their implications for peace pedagogy. The research method is descriptive quantitative with 80 students in semester II, IV and VI 2021. The measurement of cultural resilience is based on the theory of Reivich and Shatte and ClaussEhlers, aspects of cultural resilience consist of emotion regulation, emotional control, impulse control, reaching out, adaptive coping, global coping and socio-cultural support. The results is the cultural resilience of PGRI Palembang University students was in the medium category. With the achievement of the highest aspect is emotional regulation, and the lowest is socio-cultural support. Efforts to develop cultural resilience are through guidance and peace counseling using cultural strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' self-esteem based on the urgency of the problems felt by teenagers at the high school level. The research model applied is the Borg and Gall Research and Development procedure. The procedure consists of three steps, namely preliminary studies, planning and development of media products and product testing. At the product test stage, two tests were carried out, namely the expert test and the prospective user test. Collecting data using an acceptability questionnaire as an assessment of media products and a self-esteem questionnaire as an assessment. The results of the PORI media research meet the criteria for accuracy, use, through the results of expert tests and prospective users. However, this research stops at the stage of potential users not reaching a limited group. The average obtained through the media and content expert test is 1, meaning that this media has very good acceptability and is grateful in theory. The results of the prospective user test on 60 respondents from high school students have a high category with a score of 80% of 48 respondents, a medium category of 18.3% of 11 respondents, and a low category of 1.6% of 1 respondent. So it can be said that the PORI media is grateful in increasing the self-esteem of high school students
