Abstract

Can  be formulated  conditions  of coastal communities  Bandar  Lampung, especially  in the Village Earth Sane, as follows:  (1). Women and children are the most vulnerable due to  unhealthy environmental conditions, (2). Knowledge and awareness of  the community, especially women in  the surrounding  environment management  is still low, (3). Women and children are  the most vulnerable due to weak  family economy,  so the  sustainability of  low  education  and women  easily become victims of domestic violence. The method used in this activity is a seminar / lecture on organizational functions,  strengthening organizations,  gender  and the environment, human rights and  the environment,  and the  law on  the environment.   This activity is  also  using simulation methods on how to build  a strategy of analysis of the problem and  its potential,  as well as  simulations of  effective  environmental management measures. The results of  the activities, participants  gain  understanding  about  the organization  /  institution,  gender  and the  environment, human rights  and the environment and socialization of Environmental Law.                                                                                                                                            Keywords: Awareness of Women, Environmental Management, Gender

Abstract

Extension  took place on  July 10, 2012  at  district  hall   Natar,  South  Lampung regency. Participants  came from 22 villages  in the  district Natar. Village  heads were 18 people  present, who  have as a deputy  4 people  (sekdes  or staff). While BPD was attended by the chairman or members of the BPD. The results and conclusions of this service activities are: (a) counseling given was to increase  the knowledge  and  attitude of  the head of  the village  head  and  the village of BPD on financial management as set forth in Permendagri 37 of 2007 as well as  their  efforts to  resolve  the conflict management and  financial control of the village by way of dialogue or deliberation;  (b)  the level of knowledge of the head of the village head and BPD financial management of the village as provided in Permendagri 37 of 2007 initially low, but after the extension increases the level of  their  knowledge, (c)  the attitude of  the village head and  BPD  attitude  that prioritizes  dialogue  and deliberation  to resolve the conflict  management and financial control of the village of approval  than before held counseling. Keywords: Financial Management of Rural Management, APBDesa

Abstract

The courses of training based on fundamental leadership concepts that said leadership is activity or exertion to influence people to obtain the group goal voluntarily. Because of that, a leader needs knowledge and skill in communication and also motivation. Communication, in brief, means process of sending and aceppting message from someone to other (s). Motivation is efforts  that cause a person or people does/do certain thing that she/he/they wants/want to do. Nowadays, leader is meant as a servant not a boss. She/he should serves everyone in organization, include their subordinates.  This training was run on Tuesday,  17 July  2012 at  Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1, Batanghari,  Lampung Timur. The participant number 35 students, concist of 16 girls  and 19 boys. The method of training are giving a lectures and games. The result that is reached by the participants, is raising in cognitive aspects. The lowest is 15 % and the highest is 50 %.   The conclusion of this leadership training for board of OSIS are first, generaly they joined this activity enthusiasticly and were motivated to implement this courses in their organization. Second, the average of cognitive improvement is 29,09 %. Base on this experience, there are two suggestions, firstly, it is necessary to continue leadership training for board of OSIS both of senior high school and yunior high school. Abstract

This community service was motivated by the condition in which there a lot of game and TV program containing violence consumed by children. In a city like Bandar Lampung, most parents do not have enough time to keep watching and accompany the children neither when playing the game nor watching TV. In addition, the children now have an easy access to play any game. The aim of this project is to deliver the knowledge to the children about the impact of violent contents in TV  program  and game. The method used in  this activity was a talk show including showing the example of proper program for the children as well as the improper one, then it was comprehended by discussion session between the participants and the presenters. After this activity had been conducted,  the result showed that the average knowledge of the participants was in maximum value, 2 (after rounded up) which means there is  47% increase  in the knowledge on the impact of violent contents in TV  program  and game. This result is expected to become a  foundation for the participants to control the media they consumed without fully depending on parents‟ guidance and control.  Key words: Media lite racy, media effect, violence, children

Abstract

The event was held at the District Office Sidomulyo South Lampung regency with two methods of activities,  lectures  and discussions  as well as practical training RPJMDesa creation. The conclusions obtained  from the  comparison of  the results of pre-test  to  post-test does not necessarily be  used as  the foundation of the legitimacy and validity of  changes in knowledge,  attitudes and  behaviors that  are expected  due to  the characteristics of  village  officials  who  attend  counseling  peemrintahan  is  very diverse.  The condition can actually be better than at the time of counseling done, or maybe even  no  better than  what comes out  of the  post-test  assessment results  in  this extension. Guidance on procedures RPJM Sidomulyo village  in the district  is the first step  to  the basic  thinking  strategic step  what needs to be  done in order  to continue  this outreach  in the  form of other  service activities. This is to complete the transformation not only of knowledge, but also attitudes and behaviors. Keywords: Rural Development, Planning and Development.

Abstract

Implementation Activities  Community Services  is  located in the District  Jatiagung South Lampung.  The method used  in the form of  lectures  and discussion  /  FAQ. Thus, the  evaluation design  used was  a quantitative  evaluation  through pre-test and post-test  and evaluation qualitatively  through  discussion  /  question and answer with monitoring during  the extension  / dissemination of the material presented during the process of  counseling /  socialization  takes place  between  the  participants in the material  renderer. Of implementation, it can be  produced  the conclusion that  the management  had understood the concept of village institutions and policies outline the rules governing the content of  the GOI, has understood mechanisms and normative regulations  in the management of  village institutions  and  have  understood  the position of  rural community participation  in management activities of institutional by members of the village by village in the district secretaries  forum Jatiagung South Lampung regency. Keywords: Aparateur Capacity, Villages Institution

Abstract

Creative industries can create a positive business climate in the context of people who want to change and improve lives. Besides, creative indusries can also build the image and national identity based on a renewable resource. Therefore, to create innovation and creativity based on local wisdom is a competitive excellence of  a nation. Efforts of developing creative industries based on local wisdom would give a positive social impact in which they would be able to  improve the quality of life. Moreover the increase and improvement in quality of life can certainly establish national character bulding based on the cultural creativity. Integrating cultural content in the products of creative industries is a breakthrough that will make the product unique and competitive as well as will preserve the noble values of the national culture.The method used in this activity is the dissemination of creative industries, local wisdom and product development withindigenous content. This activity also used simulation methods to give participants practical experience of  designing and manufacturing  creatively industrial products creative with content of local wisdom.After having held the dissemination of cultural creative industry development efforts based on local wisdom in South Pringsewu Sub District Pringsewu Regency, the understanding of the creative industries increased by 21.99%, the  understanding of local wisdom by 17.88% and the understanding of the development of products with the indigenous content by 44.14%. In addition all participants could also perform simulations corresponding stages of the process being simulated. Thus, this dissemination provides an enhance of the knowledge and skills of the trainee. In future, to further enhance the skills of the creative industries in designing products with local wisdom, the dissemination can be more focused on practices of  design and quality of the products.  Keywords : Culture, creative industries, local wisdom

Abstract

This Community Services  Activity  is being carried out  in South  Lampung District Jatiagung with  a lecture  and discussion  / FAQ. Abstract

The idea of  this service activities originated from a number of research by a team of local culture that is in Lampung. The local culture has the potential of local wisdom that has values  that benefit society. We beranalisis that local knowledge can be used as social capital in the life of Indonesian people today are still prone to conflict, violence and even juvenile delinquency. Character education is one way for the inclusion of local knowledge imparted to the younger generation as the hope that the change could be made. So the dedication is to introduce a new approach to education that is based on the character of the local culture in anticipation of juvenile delinquency. The method of devotion is to lectures, and discussions with teachers in junior MAIN 3 Bandar Lampung. By trying to introduce this approach to teachers at the school. The aim is that teachers have the knowledge and be able to integrate the local culture in the implementation of character education in schools. From the results obtained training increased 20 points (score 0-10) from initial knowledge to science after doing the training. Abstract

Life skills education  through the program  "Entrepreneurship" or entrepreneurship is  an  applied  education  that students  get the best experience  with  running a  real business  or  directly.   Entrepreneurial activity  is  believed to be  able to provide encouragement,  particularly  to  improve the  quality of life  of students  and generally to  improve the quality of life. This learning  inspires students to have a sense of responsibility and to  individuals who are able  to adapt  to changes  in the era of  globalization by  improving  their skills  to become  competitive  generation without having to  rely on  to  be  an employee or  karyawan.pelatihan entrepreneurship  and  preparation  business proposal   LFA  method  can improve students understanding of  entrepreneurship is  the willingness  and ability  to develop a business plan as outlined in the business plan and manage the business in the form of co-operation in business groups.  This training also motivates participants to have a strong character to be a reliable entrepreneur  to  have  skills  and emotional intelligence. For that,  should  a similar training  is often  done to  foster  entrepreneurial spirit  early on  and improve students knowledge and skills  in business LFA can provide a good mechanism  to develop  a  project  concept  into  a comprehensive  project design documents.  In addition to  foster  life skills,  this training program  also  supports 6 SMK Bandar Lampung  in delivering  and  motivate students  about the  importance of entrepreneurship.  Keywords: life skills,entrepreneurship,logical framework analysis
