Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama beternak dan komitmen peternak dengan penambahan aset usaha peternakan sapi potong di Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei dan observasi di lapangan. Kabupaten Banyumas dipilih secara purposive sampling karena sebagai salah satu lokasi untuk pengembangan sapi potong. Jumlah responden dihitung berdasarkan rumus slovin dengan margin of error 10%. Jumlah responden yang dilibatkan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 81 peternak sapi potong yang diambil secara acak. analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan korelasi rank spearman. hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peternak pada kategori baru mengusahakan sapi potong (67,91%). Komitmen peternak berada pada kategori sedang. Mayoritas peternak menjadikan usaha ternak sebagai usaha sampingan sehingga penambahan asset rendah. Hasil analisis korelasi Rank Spearman menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang nyata namun sangat lemah (0,017) antara lama beternak dengan penambahan aset usaha peternakan sapi potong di Kabupaten Banyumas dan terdapat hubungan yang nyata namun sangat lemah (0,096) antara komitmen peternak sapi potong dengan penambahan aset usaha peternak sapi potong di Kabupaten Banyumas.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas antara dua metode (IM dan IU) dan faktor yang dapat mempengaruhinya pada sinkronisasi birahi sapi potong. Penelitian eksperimen ini mengunakan 60 ekor ternak sapi betina produktif yang diperoleh secara acak dan dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, lalu disinkronisasi birahi (SE) menggunakan metode IM maupun IU. Parameter yang diamati yaitu lama kemunculan birahi berdasarkan bangsa ternak dan skor kondisi tubuh.  Data hasil penelitian dianalisis mengunakan uji-t serta uji korelasi regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar sapi betina memberikan respons birahi terhadap pemberian preparat hormon PGF2α dan metode IM lebih lambat menimbulkan birahi dibandingkan dengan IU. Bangsa sapi Limosin metode IU memiliki rata-rata kemunculan birahi paling cepat dan yang paling lambat adalah bangsa sapi Bali metode IU. Nilai BCS memiliki korealsi yang nyata dengan respon birahi. Kesimpulan: secara teknis metoda IU lebih efektif dan efisien digunakan di lapangan. Kata Kunci: Birahi, Intra Muskuler, Intra Uteri, Sapi, SinkronisasiComparison of the efficiency of birahi synchronization with intra-muscular and intra-uterine methods using PGF2α in beef cattle ABSTRACT.  This study aims to determine the effectiveness between the two methods (IM and IU) and the factors that can influence it on the estrus synchronization of beef cattle. This experimental study used 60 productive female cattle obtained randomly and divided into two groups, then estrus synchronized (SE) was carried out using the IM and IU methods. The parameters observed were the duration of the emergence of estrus based on the breed of livestock and body condition scores. The research data were analyzed using t-test and regression correlation test. The results showed that most of the female cows gave an estrus response to the administration of PGF2α hormone preparations and the IM method was slower to induce estrus than IU. The Limousine cattle breed with the IU method has the fastest average occurrence of estrus and the slowest is the Bali cattle breed with the IU method. The BCS value has a significant correlation with the estrus response. Conclusion: technically the IU method is more effective and efficient in use in the field.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Peningkatan produksi daging global selama beberapa tahun terakhir terutama didorong oleh produksi daging unggas yang lebih efisien karena usaha perunggasan terus berkembang lebih maju di banyak bagian dunia. Metode peningkatan pemanfaatan penggunaan pakan asal limbah industri perunggasan telah diusulkan sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pemanfaatan limbah, mengurangi kompetisi pemanfaatan pangan maupun pakan dan meningkatkan system daur ulang yang efisien. Limbah industri perunggasan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber protein ruminansia antara lain adalah tepung bulu, limbah penetasan ayam, kaki ayam, tepung jeroan, tepung darah, tepung tulang, manure dan litter unggas. Limbah industri peternakan unggas tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan kembali ke dalam rantai makanan, setelah melalui berbagai macam perlakuan. Penggunaan limbah unggas sebagai sumber protein ternak ruminansia telah lama diteliti dan diterapkan di lapangan. Tulisan ini bertujuan memberikan ulasan singkat pemanfaatan limbah industry perunggasan sebagai sumber protein alternatif untuk ruminansia.Kata kunci: Unggas; limbah; protein; ruminansiaPoultry industry waste and its benefits as a source of protein for ruminants: a brief reviewABSTRACT. The increase in global meat production over recent years has been driven primarily by more efficient poultry meat production as poultry businesses continue to advance in many parts of the world. Methods for increasing the use of feed from poultry industry waste have been proposed to increase waste utilization efficiency, reduce competition for food and feed use, and improve an efficient recycling system. Poultry industry waste that can be used as a source of ruminant protein includes feather meal, chicken hatching waste, chicken feet, offal meal, blood meal, bone meal, manure, and poultry litter. After various treatments, poultry farming industrial waste can be reused into the food chain. The use of poultry waste as a ruminant protein source has long been researched and applied in the field. This paper will briefly review the use of poultry industry waste as an alternative protein source for ruminants.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis morfometrik dalam penentuan score babi Duroc Betina. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Mitra Tani Farm Kecamatan Wewiku, Kabuapten Malaka. Ternak yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah babi Duroc betina berumur 1 tahun berjumlah 80 ekor.  Peubah yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah cumulative index Salako yang terdiri weight index, height slope index, length index, width slope index, depth index, foreleg length index, balance dan cumulative index yang akan dianalisis menggunakan rumus Salako (2006) untuk melihat kumulatif indeks untuk menentukan score indeks dari ternak tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata ukuran morfometrik babi Duroc betina Byaitu bobot badan (42,43±24,16 kg), panjang badan (56,09±16,97 cm), tinggi pundak (49,13±13,98 cm), tinggi pinggul (49,75±13,98 cm), lingkar dada (74,78±27,39 cm) lebar dada (17,18±6,18 cm), dalam dada (33,64±14,12 cm), panjang pinggul (15,70±5,15 cm), dan lebar pinggul (13,24±2,11cm). Rata-rata cumulative index Salako betina yang terdiri dari weight index (14000,64±7978,14), height slope index (0,63±1,84), length index (1,14±0,13), width slope index (0,92±0,44), depth index (0,67±0,15), foreleg length index (145,49±8,17), balance (1,66±0,096), dan cumulative index (4,80±2,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh maka dismpulkan bahwah semakin tinggi nilai cumulative index betina, maka nilai tersebut digunakan untuk menentukan score index tubuh dalam seleksi terutama ternak babi betina dalam meningkatkatkan jumlah kelahiran dan kualitas daging yang bagus terutama pada betina afkir. Hal ini merupakan salah satu proses seleksi dalam mempertahankan kualitas ternak babi Duroc yang ada di Mitra Tani Farm Wewiku Kabupaten Malaka.Kata kunci: Babi duroc, cumulative index, morfometrikMorphometric Analysis in Determining Body Score Index of Female Duroc Pigs in Mitra Tani Farm, Wewiku District, Malaka RegencyABSTRACT. This research determine the morphometric analysis in determining the score of female Duroc pigs. The research was carried out in Mitra Tani Farm, Wewiku District, Malaka Regency. The livestock used in this research were 80 1 year old male Duroc pigs. The variable observed in this research is the Salako cumulative index which consists of weight index, height slope index, length index, width slope index, depth index, foreleg length index, balance and cumulative index which will be analyzed using the Salako (2006) formula to see the cumulative index to determine the index score of the sow. The results of the study showed that the average morphometric dimensions of female Duroc pigs were body weight (42.43 ± 24.16 kg), body length (56.09 ± 16.97 cm), shoulder height (49.13 ± 13.98 cm) , hip height (49.75 ± 13.98 cm), chest circumference (74.78 ± 27.39 cm) chest width (17.18 ± 6.18 cm), chest depth (33.64 ± 14.12 cm ), hip length (15.70±5.15 cm), and hip width (13.24±2.11cm). The average cumulative index of Salako Brtina consisting of weight index (14000.64 ± 7978.14), height slope index (0.63 ± 1.84), length index (1.14 ± 0.13), width slope index (0.92 ± 0.44), depth index (0.67 ± 0.15), foreleg length index (145.49 ± 8.17), balance (1.66 ± 0.096), and cumulative index (4, 80 ± 2.05). Based on the research results obtained, it was concluded that the higher the female cumulative index value, the value is used to determine the body index score in selection, especially female pigs, in increasing litter size and good meat quality, especially inculled females.  This is one of the selection processes in maintaining the quality of duroc pigs in Mitra Tani Farm Wewiku, Malaka Regency.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Naget merupakan salah satu makanan praktis yang terbuat dari daging ayam yang sudah difillet dengan campuran tepung dan bumbu. Pengolahan ayam Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan (KUB) menjadi naget yang diberi penambahan daun kelor diharapkan dapat meningkatkan nilai nutrisi sekaligus sebagai pangan fungsional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan pengaruh penambahan daun kelor pada naget ayam KUB terhadap daya ikat air, keempukan, kandungan protein, kadar abu, dan susut masak. Analisis parameter penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Center for Development of Advanced Science and Technology (CDAST) dan Laboratorium Analisis Pangan, Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian Universitas Jember. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 (empat) perlakuan dan ulangan sebanyak 6 (enam) kali, sehingga terdapat 24 unit perlakuan yang meliputi P0: Naget ayam KUB tanpa penambahan tepung daun kelor (kontrol), P1: Naget ayam KUB dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor 1%, P2: Naget ayam KUB dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor 1,5%, dan P3: Naget ayam KUB dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor 2%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun kelor 1-2% pada naget ayam KUB tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata terhadap daya ikat air, namun terdapat perbedaan nyata terhadap keempukan, kadar abu, dan susut masak naget ayam KUB. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun kelor 1-2% dapat meningkatkan daya ikat air, keempukan, dan kadar abu pada produk naget ayam KUB.Kata kunci:  Naget ayam KUB, tepung daun kelor, daya ikat air, keempukan, susut masak.Water Holding Capacity, Tenderness, Ash Content, and Cooking Loss of KUB Chicken Nuggets with Moringa Leaf Flour AdditionABSTRACT.  Nugget are one of the practical foods made from chicken meat that has been filled with a mixture of flour and spices.    Processing Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan (KUB) chicken into nugget with added moringa leaves is expected to increase the nutritional value. This study aimed to analized the effect of adding moringa leaves to KUB chicken nagets on water holding capacity, tenderness, ash content, and cooking losses out. The research parameters were analyzed at the Center for Development of Advanced Science and Technology (CDAST) Laboratory and the Food Analysis Laboratory, Faculty of Agricultural Technology Jember University.  The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and six repetitions, so there were 24 treatment units which included P0: KUB chicken nugget without the addition of Moringa leaf flour (control), P1: KUB chicken nugget with the addition of Moringa leaf flour 1 %, P2: KUB chicken nugget with the addition of 1.5% Moringa leaf flour, P3: KUB chicken nugget with the addition of 2% Moringa leaf flour.  Based on the results of the research analysis, it was found that nugget adding 1-2% Moringa leaf flour at different levels to KUB chicken nugget did not have a significant difference in water holding capacity.  However, there were significant differences in tenderness, ash content, and KUB chicken nugget cooking shrinkage. The study results can be concluded that adding 1-2% of Moringa leaf flour can increase water holding capacity, tenderness and ash content, and cooking loss in KUB chicken nugget products.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Perkembangan kelompok ternak sangat menentukan pencapaian swasembada daging di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kelas kemampuan kelompok ternak sapi potong dalam penerapan aspek manajemen berdasarkan panduan yang dikeluarkan oleh Kemeterian Pertanian (2018). Metode penelitian ini adalah studi kasus (case study) yang dilakukan pada kelompok ternak Balai gadang Sapan di Jorong Balimbing, Nagari Balimbing, Kec. Rambatan, Kab Tanah Datar. Data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif yang diperoleh melalui pengisian kuesioner oleh responden. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah anggota kelompok ternak yang berjumlah 18 orang. Pertanyaan kuesioner diturunkan dari variabel dan indikator kelas kemampuan kelompok yang dikeluarkan oleh Kemeterian Pertanian (2018) yang dikenal dengan panca kemampuan kelompok tani (Pakem Poktan). Data dianalisis dengan menjumlah dan menghitung rata-rata bobot yang telah diisi responden berdasarkan panduan Pakem Poktan (2018). Hasil penelitian untuk masing-masing variabel mendapatkan nilai kemampuan kelompok adalah kemampuan perencanaan (37,83),  pengorganisasian (98,32), melaksanakan kegiatan (175,94),  melakukan pengendalian dan pelaporan (15,38), dan mengembangkan kepemimpinan kelompok (22,72). Hasil penelitian secara total mendapatkan bahwa kelas kemampuan kelompok termasuk katagori Lanjut (350,61). Ini berarti bahwa kelompok ini telah berorentasi usaha.Kata Kunci: Kelas, kemampuan, kelompok, manajemen, sapi potongAnalysis of Farmers' Group Capabilities In The Implementation of Management Aspects: A Case Study ApproachABSTRACT. The development of livestock groups will determine the achievement of meat self-sufficiency in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the ability class of beef cattle groups in implementing management aspects based on guidelines issued by the Ministry of Agriculture (2018). This research method is a case study conducted on the Balai Gadang Sapan livestock group in Jorong Balimbing, Nagari Balimbing, Kec. Rambatan, Tanah Datar District. The data used is quantitative data obtained through filling out questionnaires by respondents. The respondents of this study were members of a livestock group totaling 18 people. Questionnaire questions were derived from group capability class variables and indicators issued by the Ministry of Agriculture (2018) known as the five farmer group capabilities (Pakem Poktan). Data were analyzed by adding up and calculating the average weights filled in by respondents based on Pakem Poktan guidelines (2018). The results of the research found that the group's ability class included the Advanced category. This means that this group has a business orientation. The research results for each group ability variable are the ability to plan (37.83), organize (98.32), carry out activities (175.94), control and report (15.38), and develop group leadership (22, 38). The research results found that the group's ability class was in the Advanced category (350.61). This means that this group has a business orientation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Daging sapi, ayam dan olahannya sangat menentukan  produksi pangan halal yang menggunakan bahan baku asal ternak tersebut. Rumah Potong Hewan  ruminansia atau disebut RPH-R adalah usaha untuk memproduksi daging sapi atau kerbau. Rumah Potong Hewan Unggas atau RPH-U untuk memproduksi daging ayam. Selain itu usaha penggilingan daging juga merupakan usaha yang memproduksi olahan daging(adonan untuk produk bakso). Usaha tersebut memiliki titik kritis tinggi dalam hal menghasilkan daging  dan produk daging yang halal. Keberhasilan pemenuhan kriteria halal di RPH-R dan RPH-U  serta penggilingan daging sangat ditentukan oleh pekerja yang terlibat di usaha tersebut. Pemenuhan kriteria halal perlu mendapat perhatian dalam rangka menghasilkan daging dan produk daging. Kriteria halal dalam sistem jaminan halal yaitu keterlibatan  sumber daya manusia, kesesuaian  bahan, proses produksi, prosedur dan produk.  Sumber daya manusia merupakan kriteria halal yang memegang peranan penting karena terkait komitmen dan tanggungjawab untuk mengimplementasi sistem jaminan halal pada suatu usaha. Pekerja merupakan salah satu sumber daya yang ada dalam usaha peternakan rumah potong ruminansia, unggas dan tempat penggilingan daging. Pengetahuan tentang kriteria halal pada pekerja masih rendah. Pelatihan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pekerja. Belum banyak penelitian  yang mengevaluasi  pengetahuan pekerja  setelah mengikuti pelatihan dalam menerapkan sistem jaminan halal di unit usaha dan industri pengolahan peternakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengetahuan pekerja setelah mengikuti pelatihan kriteria halal di unit usaha peternakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan  wawancara  untuk mengambil data setelah pelatihan dilakukan.  Sampel yang digunakan adalah 15 peserta pelatihan sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data Likert untuk mengolah data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan pekerja setelah mengikuti pelatihan di usaha rumah potong ruminansia, unggas dan penggilingan daging mengalami peningkatkan 15% atau kategori tinggi. Pelatihan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan pekerja dalam memenuhi kriteria halal pada usaha  rumah potong ruminansia, unggas dan penggilingan daging di Kota Parepare.Kata kunci: Kriteria halal, pelatihan, evaluasi pengetahuan, pekerja industri peternakanEvaluation of Knowledge on Halal Assurance System by Workers in Livestock Business Units in Parepare City, South SulawesiABSTRACT. Beef, chicken and their preparations determine the production of halal food that uses raw materials from these animals. A ruminant slaughterhouse or RPH-R is a business for producing beef or buffalo meat. Poultry slaughterhouse or U-slaughterhouse is for producing chicken meat. In addition, the meat milling business is also a business that produces processed meat (dough for meatball products). The business has a high critical point in terms of producing halal meat and meat products. The success of fulfilling halal criteria in RPH-R and U-RPH as well as meat milling is largely determined by the workers involved in the business. Fulfillment of halal criteria needs attention to produce meat and meat products. Halal criteria in the halal assurance system are the involvement of human resources, suitability of materials, production processes, procedures, and products. Human resources are halal criteria that play an important role because they are related to commitment and responsibility for implementing a halal assurance system in a business. Workers are one of the resources available in ruminant slaughterhouses, poultry farms, and meatpacking operations. Knowledge of halal criteria among workers is still low. Training is conducted to improve workers' knowledge. There are not many studies that evaluate workers' knowledge after training in implementing a halal assurance system in livestock processing business units and industries.  This study aims to evaluate the knowledge of workers after attending halal criteria training in livestock business units. This study was conducted with interviews to collect data after the training was conducted. The sample used was 15 trainees as respondents. This research uses Likert data analysis to process data. The results showed that the knowledge of workers after attending training in ruminant slaughterhouses, poultry, and meat milling businesses increased by 15% or high category. Training can improve workers' knowledge in meeting halal criteria in ruminant slaughterhouses, poultry, and meat milling businesses in Parepare City.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Jack bean (Canavalia ensiformis L.) is a potential alternative protein source to replace soybean meal in local feed formulations. While jack beans are high in protein, their high levels of anti-nutritional factors limit their use. Identifying effective processing techniques to improve the quality of jack beans is therefore essential. This study examines the effects of incorporating soaked and peeled jack bean meal into broiler diets on internal organs, digestive organs, and intestinal villi morphology. The jack beans were processed by soaking for 3 hours, peeling, oven drying, and grinding into meal form. A completely randomized design was used, with three levels of processed jack bean inclusion (0% JBM0, 5% JBM5, and 10% JBM10), each replicated six times. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by a post hoc Tukey test for significant findings. The results indicated that soaking for 3 hours and peeling effectively lowered the hydrogen cyanide (HCN) content from 207.61 ppm to 51.21 ppm. The inclusion of processed jack bean meal had no significant impact (P>0.05) on internal organs, digestive tract organs, or intestinal villi morphology. These findings suggest that processed jackbean meal can replace soybean meal in poultry feed at levels up to 10% without adverse effects on internal organs.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk isolasi, identifikasi dan uji sensitivitas antibiotik eritromisin dan penisilin G terhadap bakteri Streptococcus sp. penyebab endometritis subklinis pada sapi aceh. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara swab dibagian vagina sapi  sebagai sampel, dan dimasukkan ke dalam tabung reaksi berisi Nutrien Broth (NB), kemudian diisolasi menggunakan media Manitol Salt Agar (MSA) dan diidentifikasi koloni bakteri menggunakan pewarnaan Gram, serta dilakukan uji katalase. Hasil isolasi bakteri tersebut diuji sensitivitas antibiotik dengan cara menempelkan disk antibiotik eritromisin dan disk antibiotik penisilin G pada permukaan media Mueller Hinton Agar (MHA) dan setelah inkubasi pada suhu 37 ­­­0C selama 24 jam diamati zona bening yang terbentuk disekitar disk antibiotik tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pertumbuhan bakteri pada media NB dan terdapat koloni terpisah pada media MSA yang menunjukkan Gram positif berbentuk kokus dan tidak menimbulkan gas pada uji katalase sebagai reaksi spesifik dari bakteri Streptococcus sp. Hasil isolasi bakteri dari vagina sapi aceh tersebut, secara uji sensitivitas menunjukkan adanya diameter zona bening seluas 23,86 mm pada antibiotik eritromisin dan 8,86 mm pada antibiotik penisilin G. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada vagina sapi aceh ditemukan adanya bakteri Streptococcus sp. yang berpotensi menyebabkan endometritis subklinis dan sensitif terhadap antibiotik eritromisin serta resisten terhadap penisilin G.Kata kunci: antibiotik, endometritis subklinis, sapi aceh, Streptococcus sp.Isolation, Identification and Sensitivity Test to Antibiotics of Bacteria Streptococcus sp. Causes of Subclinical Endometritis in Aceh CattleABSTRACT. This study aims to isolate, identify, and test the sensitivity of erythromycin and penicillin G antibiotics against Streptococcus sp. bacteria causing subclinical endometritis in Aceh cattle. The study was conducted by swabbing the vaginal area of the cattle to collect samples, which were then placed in test tubes containing Nutrient Broth (NB). The bacteria were isolated using Manitol Salt Agar (MSA) media and identified by Gram staining, along with a catalase test. The isolated bacteria were tested for antibiotic sensitivity by applying erythromycin and penicillin G antibiotic disks onto the surface of Mueller Hinton Agar (MHA) media. After incubation at 37°C for 24 hours, the clear zones formed around the antibiotic disks were observed. The results showed bacterial growth on NB media and separate colonies on MSA media, which were Gram-positive cocci bacteria and did not produce gas in the catalase test, indicating a specific reaction of Streptococcus sp. The sensitivity test results showed a clear zone diameter of 23.86 mm for erythromycin and 8.86 mm for penicillin G. This study concluded that Streptococcus sp. bacteria found in the vagina of Aceh cattle have the potential to cause subclinical endometritis and are sensitive to erythromycin but resistant to penicillin G.

Abstract

ABSTRACT.  The demand for local chicken meat in Bandung city has been decreasing over the last five years. Changes in demand for a product can be influenced by consumer preferences and satisfaction. This research was conducted to determine consumer preferences based on the attributes inherent in local chicken meat and the level of consumer satisfaction with local chicken meat. The research location was at Cibogo Market, Sukajadi District, Bandung City. Primary data was obtained from interviews with 97 local chicken meat consumers (as respondents) and secondary data was from the journals and articles research, internet, and related instance. The data analysis method used is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to determine preferences and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) to determine the level of consumer satisfaction. The results of the research showed that consumer preferences for local chicken meat at Cibogo Market are based on attributes that are included in the main priority class, namely meat tenderness, age, and weight of local chicken. The result of CSI calculation was 71.61% which means that consumers are satisfied. In conclusion, the performance of attributes that are a priority for consumers need to be improved in terms to increase consumer satisfaction to a very satisfied level.
