<![CDATA[Mahasiswa merupakan agen of change sebagai pembawa perubahan bagi suatu negeri. Mahasiswa memiliki fungsi dan peran sebagai Iron Stock dalam estafet perubahan suatu bangsa. Organisasi sangat penting bagi kalangan mahasiswa dewasa ini. Terlebih, Organisasi mahasiswa ekstra kampus memiliki empat gerakan yang dijadikan sebagai landasan geraknya yaitu: Gerakan politik (berafiliasi dengan golongan-golongan), Gerakan sosial (menjadi motor penggerak terhadap ketimpangan- ketimpangan sosial), Mencetak intelektual (mengadakan seminar-seminar dan kajian ilmiah), Menjaga ideologi masing-masing organisasi. Tulisan dalam paper ini mencoba untuk menawarkan Model Pengembangan Komunitas Cangkir Kamisan Sebagai Wadah Harmoni Intelektual Kolektif. Peran Komunitas Cangkir Kamisan dalam membangun intelektual kolektif di organisasi ekstra kampus IAIN Metro adalah dengan cara berdiskusi untuk hal-hal yang positif untuk kegiatan sosial dengan prinsip social interprenuership. Dengan adanya perbedaan dapat menjadi sebuah kesatuan komunitas yang sangat kokoh dan kuat. Selanjutnya kontribusi Komunitas Cangkir Kamisan mampu menyelesaikan konflik organisasi mahasiswa ekstra kampus IAIN Metro dengan memupuk rasa paersaudaraan dan kekeluargaan.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine in depth about celebrity politics as part of political communication by Ukrainian presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelenskiy who won the election in 2019 in two rounds. The paradigm of this research is critical constructivist with the case study research method based on Zelensky's speeches and political statements in the mass media. The results of the analysis and discussion showed that Zelensky's popular celebrity status was Zelensky's main selling power and strengthened his position, used a political communication style approach that opposed mass media hegemony, maximized the role of social media, did not attend talk shows, and did not attend public debates. It shows the offer of an approach that actually challenges the system neatly and constructively, but destructively. However, the various policy programs offered by Zelensky actually did not dare to fight the mainstream, they still followed the flow, such as supporting EU and NATO membership, fighting Russia, and strengthening the Ukrainian economy. A popular policy that is different from Zelensky is its efforts to legalize marijuana, prostitution and gambling in certain cities.]]>

<![CDATA[Zakat (alms) is an important discourse in a Muslim society so that it is often associated with the economic empowerment of the Ummah (Muslim community at large). This article aims to explain how the efforts made by National Alms Agency of Kepulauan Meranti to use modern instrument and management for disseminating the obligation to pay alms among Muslim people in Kepulauan Meranti. Using observation and interview to get data, BAZNAS has tried intensively to strengthen and improve the society’s consciousness to pay Zakat as piety symbol. This article shows that semi-modern Zakat institution like BAZNAS Kepulauan Meranti conducts complicated negotiation related to religious awareness and problem of modernity. This article also shows how to spread the obligation to pay alms as a never-ending project because the values of religiosity often require elements of modernity. The empty space needed by institutions like BAZNAS is to strengthen the use of modern instruments and modern management implementation in these institutions.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe about communication planning of political advertisement (ads) by candidate in local election’s Riau 2018. Basically there is no guarantee that can ensure a candidate's victory is determined by the number of political ads displayed along the way. But political ads can be utilized by canditates to attract public attention through creative ideas. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. The result of this study showed that the political ads, used by the elected candidates in local election 2018 in Riau, are part of the political marketing communication process carried out by Syamsuar-Edy Nasution and their team. The communication plan was a systematic and comprehensive political decision starting from research, planning, development, trial planning, implementation and monitoring. The strength factor’s is from candidate's himself. While the weakness factors are from regulations, differences perception between the candidate’s successor team and budget constraints.]]>

<![CDATA[This article discusses counselling communication found in Walisongo State Islamic University Semarang. Students in completing their final assignment are facing internal and external problems. Therefore counseling communication is needed to identify student problems preventively. Counselling communication techniques are carried out with verbal communication, vocal communication and body communication. This reserach uses descriptive qualitative approach. The data is gathered through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The research result shows that counselling communication which was conducted by the guardian lecturers using verbal communication could not maximally carried out due to lack of information of students who rarely interacted with the lecturers.]]>

<![CDATA[This study talks about the therapeutic communication process carried out by medical personnel (speech therapists) with patients with special needs who are specified in persons with Down syndrome at Prof. RSUD. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. This study aims to determine the process or method of conducting therapeutic communication by speech therapists with pediatric patients with Down syndrome in Prof. RSUD. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. The method used in this study is an explorative qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that to conduct a therapeutic communication with pediatric patients can be done using several methods in language therapy, for example such as modeling and self talk-parallel talk methods. Furthermore, there is a therapeutic communication process carried out by a therapist consisting of the stages of pre-interaction, introduction, orientation, work, and termination. In therapeutic communication that is interwoven there is also the exchange of messages and obstacles experienced by therapists in carrying out the process.]]>

<![CDATA[This study offers a scientific development model for department of islamic journalism through the approach of peace journalism. Researchers see the importance of peace journalism to be introduced, understood and become the basis of journalistic work of journalists, especially for students. This research uses mixed methods research method that is combining field research, literature and supplemented with online research. The importance of the scientific development of department of islamic journalism through peace journalism can be seen from the increasing need for journalism propositions. The scientific development strategy of the department of islamic journalism at UIN STS Jambi through the Peace Journalism Course starts from curriculum planning, preparation of practice facilities, and hands-on experience-based learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Poverty is a classic problem that plagues various countries and seems to be an actual change in the future. The impact of poverty is the emergence of beggars. In this case, social problems such as beggars in urban areas also happen in Yogyakarta. Therefore, cooperation from government or non-government is needed to reduce beggars. At present, the government through the Society of Social Workers Association (IPSM) is one of the social institutions in Yogyakarta which together reduces the level of beggars through handling held every week. The social workers must have the skills of interpersonal communication in order to communicate with beggars. The method used in writing is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that beggars were asked for data and directed to take part in the training and would be sent home in their original areas, because social workers at IPSM has used the interpersonal communication using local language and face to face in order to approach beggars and look like ordinary people and does not use IPSM attributes.]]>

<![CDATA[The researcher examines the neutrality of the Kiai in the political year due to the existence of one of the candidates for the vice president who participated in the 2019 election is a great Ulama. The political stage not only presents the political maneuver of political figures and parties, but also the role of the Kiai who also took part in the democratic party. One of the kiai who has neutrality in politics is K.H. Sholeh Bahruddin, better known by the name of Kiai Sholeh. The purpose of this study is to analyze the neutrality of the kiai’s politics in the perspective of symbolic interaction theory. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research uses Symbolic Interactionism theory for its analysis. The result of the analysis shows that the neutrality of the Kiai is a solution to create peaceful election. Kiai Sholeh made several efforts to realize a peaceful election by: Firstly, Kiai Sholeh committed to uphold the integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila; Secondly, Kiai Sholeh supported the democratic system and the process of democratization as a political mechanism of the state; and finally, prioritizing peace, tolerance, and togetherness amid differences in political choices.]]>

<![CDATA[This article describes one of the effects of globalization on young Muslims in Indonesia. This article argues that the emergence of globalization has provided opportunities for young Muslims to take 'Islamic' values from the non-Arab world, not solely from the center of Islam (Muslim Arab countries). The purpose of this study is to find out how Pekanbaru Muslim Youth take Islamic values contained in Korean drama. This research uses ethnographic methods, by identifying informants namely young Muslim Muslims who are pious from Islamic educational backgrounds and like Korean television dramas. They have a good understanding of Islam so that in daily life they used to do the obligatory prayers five times a day and fasting is obligatory in the holy month of Ramadan. Even some of them do the teachings of Islam that are sunnah such as reading the Qur'an, sunnah prayers in congregation in the mosque and others. This article found that Korean television dramas encourage Muslim young people to negotiate Islamic values displayed in Korean television dramas. The results of this study reveal some Islamic values such as aspects of hard work, and never give up are often portrayed in television dramas.]]>
