Abstract

The unavailability of Islamic history teaching materials in accordance with the principles of teaching materials and curriculum of the Muhammadiyah Boarding School of Yogyakarta is a background that encourages writers to research, develop and test the feasibility of Islamic history teaching materials for students in class VIII of Muhammadiyah Boarding School of Yogyakarta. This reseach aims to determine, develop and test the appropriateness of Islamic history teaching materials used for students of class VIII at Muhammadiyah Boarding School of Yogyakarta. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches to the type of research and development. Data collection techniques in this research used the method of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The test subjects in this research were Islamic history’s teachers and VIII grade students of Muhammadiyah Boarding School of Yogyakarta. The results of this research produced a product in the form of Islamic history teaching materials for students of class VIII of Muhammadiyah Boarding School of Yogyakarta entitled“al-Tarikh al-Islami (fi Sirah Rasulillah Shallallah ‘alaihi wa Sallam).” After the validation test from the expert, from the aspects of appearance, presentation and learning got results with very good categories. Based on the results of teacher and student responses from aspects, content and material got results with the category of "very good." Thus it can be concluded that teaching materials are appropriate to be used in Islamic learning.

Abstract

This article examines the problematic of learning the Tafsir book at Islamic boarding schools. There were 11 Islamic boarding schools in Riau Province that were chosen to be examined, they included: Al-Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru, Al-Kausar Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru, Dar El-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru, Al-Muslimun Islamic Boarding School Pangkalan Kerinci, Hidayatul Ma’rifah Islamic Boarding School Pelalawan, Daarun Nahdhah Islamic Boarding School Bangkinang, Anshar As-Sunnah Islamic Boarding School, Ad-Dar Al-Salafiyah Al-Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School, Sabil Al-Salam Islamic Boarding School, Al-Badr Islamic Boarding School, and Al-Taufik Islamic Boarding School Kampar. Problems such as the appearance of unsatisfying results from the alumni of certain Islamic boarding schools regarding to their knowledge about the Tafsir Book is the reason that this subject is interesting to be examined. The data obtained for this study were collected through interviews with related parties, observation and documentation. Subsequently, the data were presented in accordance to the existed information within the field and followed by analyzing them which corresponded with the proposed main problems. After being examined, there are factors found as the obstacles in learning the Tafsir Book. These factors include the limited teachers which are not equal to the number of students, teachers or ustadh of Tafsir that are not based or graduate from the science of Tafsir, lack of references and others.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the creative strategies of parents who are single parent status in building empathy attitude of children during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative research method of phenomenology type. The results showed that the form of a single parent's creative strategy in building a child's empathy attitude during the pandemic began with training to care for plants, animals, and helping parents at home. Whereas practicing tolerance can begin by teaching children to appreciate differences, then to practice tolerance, done by respecting the efforts and abilities of their children. Respect his child when learning to fasting even though it is not full day. This situation will make the children do things with a sense of security and comfort without having to consider the demands from parents.

Abstract

This research aimed at knowing the influence of internet-based learning model toward students’ achievement motivation and their learning creativity.  Quantitative approach was used in this research.  Sampling was done by using purposive sampling technique.  300 students at State Islamic Senior High Schools in Riau Province were the samples.  Questionnaire was the technique of collecting data.  The technique of analyzing data was Linear Regression.  The research findings showed that: first, there was a significant influence of internet-based learning model toward student achievement motivation, the correlational score was 0.505 with the significance 0.000 that was lower than 0.05, and R Square score was 0.255, so the contribution of internet-based learning model toward student achievement motivation was 25.5%; second, there was a significant influence of internet-based learning model toward student learning creativity, the correlational score was 0.523 with the significance 0.000 that was lower than 0.05, and R Square score was 0.274, so the contribution of internet-based learning model toward student learning creativity was 27.4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the Tahfiz al-Qur'an Curriculum and Tahfiz learning management at the “Daarul Qur'an” Islamic Boarding School of Tahfiz, Tangerang, Banten. This study is a qualitative research presented in a descriptive-analytical way. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. This research was conducted at the Tahfiz Daarul Quran Islamic Boarding School in Tangerang in 2018. The conclusion of this research is that Pesantren Tahfiz Daarul Qur'an Tangerang is managed by modern management while maintaining traditional values. In addition to tahfiz activities, students also get non-tahfiz learning. However, the right curriculum makes the students not divided in their concentration in memorizing the Qur'an. This actually encourages the development of the potential of students in other fields at the same time. However, there is still a need to improve the curriculum to further refine it

Abstract

This article study the problem of Islamic education institutions in Indonesia which is under vertical institution, the Ministry of Religion, but is factually within the scope of an autonomous local government. This problem is studied cccording to management of Islamic education perspective. Educational autonomy is a technical problem in the management of educational institutions which is not necessarily applied equally to all educational institutions, but depends on the condition of educational institutions in each region. Some aspects needed for autonomy is management of student recruitment, utilization and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, implementation of learning, implementation of evaluation of learning outcomes by teachers, permissibility of community involvement in assisting the administration of education. The general education policies, curriculum and education funds may not be submitted to educational institutions. The government is fully responsible for providing quality education services for all people, also funds and all supporting facilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the integration of curriculum management in Roushon Fikr Islamic Elementary School Jombang in improving the quality of learning. The locus of this research was taken, because SDI Roushon Fikr is an Islamic educational institution that was present in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, and is located in the santri city of Jombang as the basis of a large Islamic boarding school in East Java. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data mining techniques through observation, interviews, and relevant documentation as secondary data. The results showed that; first, planning the curriculum at SDI Roushon Fikr carefully and structured at the beginning of each year, but still needs to align the process of preparing the lesson plan (RPP), syllabus, and learning tools that are adjusted to the educational calendar and effective week; second, the organization of learning at SDI Roushon Fikr is carried out by representatives of the school in the field of curriculum, through the stage of division of responsibilities for each teacher that is relevant to the field of expertise of each teacher; third, the implementation of the curriculum and the relevance of the quality of learning at SDI Roushon Fikr, starting with opening activities, core activities, and closing activities; fourth, the monitoring and evaluation of the curriculum is carried out by the principal through supervising the school representatives in the curriculum field and the subject teachers in every semester and every year.

Abstract

The low performance of teachers in learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pekanbaru is a problem in this study. This can be seen from the results of the National Examination that Madrasah is lower than SMP which can be seen from the average score of graduates. MTs UN results 65.5 and SMP results 81.35. Factors that affect teacher performance are teacher dedication and welfare guarantees. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of dedication and welfare insurance on the performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pekanbaru teachers. This research is a correlation study with three variables, two independent variables, namely teacher dedication and welfare and one guarantee variable, namely teacher performance. Respondents in this study were teachers of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pekanbaru with a total sample of 123 people. The instruments used in this study were observation, questionnaires and documentation. To analyze the data, simple and multiple linear regression were used. After processing the data using SPSS version 23 with simple and multiple linear regression tests, it was found that there was a significant influence between teacher dedication on teacher performance with an effect of 51.2%, the effect of welfare insurance on teacher performance by 31%, the effect of dedication and welfare guarantees on teacher performance by 51.3%. Based on the partial analysis, it is also proven that there is a correlation between all the independent variables purely on the dependent variable. In other words, dedication and welfare insurance are interrelated without being influenced by other variables. it means that dedication has a relationship with teacher performance without being influenced by welfare insurance (correlation coefficient 0.698, partial correlation coefficient 0.361). Likewise, welfare guarantees on performance have a relationship without being influenced by dedication (correlation coefficient 0.557, correlation coefficient 0.310). So that there is no change to the predetermined hypothesis

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the integration model in the development of Islamic-based Sociology modules and their implementation at Islamic Senior High Schools in Riau Province. The research method used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The schools that were sampled in the research and module trials consisted of 8 Islamic Senior High Schools located in Riau Province. With data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, and observations, the results obtained that the integration model in the development of an Islamic-based Sociology module can be displayed in the aspect of content feasibility with indicators such as the suitability of the material with the SK and KD, the accuracy of the material, the up-to-date of the material, and encouraging curiosity was assessed 64% very good. The aspect of presentation feasibility with indicators of presentation technique, presentation support, learning presentation, and coherence in the flow of thought is considered very good 51%. Aspects of contextual assessment with indicators of contextual nature and contextual components rated 71% very good. From the linguistic aspect, it was rated 69% very well and the graphic aspect was rated at 54% as very good. Based on interviews and observations of testing the use of the module on students, 72% of the Sociology module based on Islam is very feasible to use. Suggestions and views from sociologists, commentators on the Qur'an and hadith, and module preparation experts add to the completeness and accuracy of the material and appearance of this module. The Islamic-based Sociology module can be developed at other levels and general subjects in the Islamic Senior High School environment. Keywords: Integration, Module, Sociology, Islam, Islamic Senior High SchoolAbstrakTulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model integrasi dalam pengembangan modul Sosiologi berbasis Islam beserta implementasinya pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri di Provinsi Riau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analiyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Madrasah yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian dan uji coba modul terdiri dari 8 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri yang berada di Provinsi Riau. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, wawancara, dan observasi diperoleh hasil bahwa model integrasi dalam pengembangan modul Sosiologi berbasis Islam dapat ditampilkan dalam aspek kelayakan isi dengan indikator berupa kesesuaian materi dengan SK dan KD, keakuratan materi, kemutakhiran materi, dan mendorong keingintahuan dinilai 64% sangat baik. Aspek kelayakan penyajian dengan indikator teknik penyajian, pendukung penyajian, penyajian pembelajaran, koherensi dan keruntutan alur pikir  dinilai 51% sangat baik. Aspek penilaian kontekstual dengan indikator hakikat kontekstual dan komponen kontekstual dinilai 71% sangat baik. Dari aspek kebahasaan dinilai 69% sangat baik dan aspek kegrafikaan dinilai 54% sangat baik. Berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi ujicoba penggunaan modul pada siswa bahwa 72% modul Sosiologi berbasis Islam ini sangat layak untuk digunakan. Saran dan pandangan dari ahli Sosiologi, ahli tafsir Al Quran dan hadis, dan ahli penyusunan modul menambah lengkap dan ketepatan materi serta penampilan modul ini. Modul Sosiologi berbasis Islam dapat dikembangkan pada jenjang dan mata pelajaran umum yang lain di lingkungan Madrasah Aliyah. Kata Kunci: Integrasi, Modul, Sosiologi, Islam, MAN.

Abstract

Understanding tajwid material, especially aboutreading gharib, must be presented in an attractive manner so that students can absorb the material well. So that the application in practice is also easier and not always the same. Therefore, this study aims to provide options related to variations in delivering learning material. By using themethod Research and Development (R&D) which produces a product in the form of an E-Module, this research was passed using several stages which are commonly abbreviated as themodel ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation) and the results of this study show that on average Correspondents and validators from several experts (material, language, and media experts) stated that this E-Module-based media was feasible to use.
