Abstract

The study was conducted at the Leuwiliang Sub-District Middle School in Bogor Regency with a population of all 7th grade students from 3 Public Middle Schools in Leuwiliang Subdistrict namely 1 Leuwiliang State Middle School, Leuwiliang 2 Junior High School with, and Leuwiliang 3 Public Middle School with total number of 396 students. The number of samples taken was taken 10%, namely 40 people using random sampling techniques. The method used is descriptive method that is making a systematic, factual and accurate descriptive of facts and the relationship between the phenomena investigated, with the aim of testing hypotheses that state whether or not there is a relationship between independent variables (X1) and (X2) with dependent variables (Y). Referring to the results of the regression test and correlation, then there is the influence of the contextual learning method on PAI towards strengthening prayer motivation. There is the influence of the contextual learning method on PAI towards strengthening the character of students. There is the influence of contextual learning methods on Islamic Education Educator on strengthening prayer motivation and strengthening the character of students. With a contextual approach to learning Islamic Education in schools providing knowledge, appreciation and encouraging students to practice and associate it in everyday life, because they feel the wisdom and benefits in real life.

Abstract

This study focuses on the contribution of Islamic boarding schools in producing various entrepreneurial cadres. This research is a qualitative research with the type of case study research. Sources of research data from primary data sources (students, teachers, kyai) and secondary data (documentation). Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques with three forms of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of the research is that the portrait of entrepreneur education is imbued with five souls which are implemented in every step, movement, in the curriculum and education system of the santri together with the kyai caregivers and their assistants, the five souls are sincerity, simplicity, independence, brotherhood and freedom. Entrepreneur education methods are uswah, suhbah and da'wah methods. The supporting factors are the 24-hour mukim system, the cooperation of teachers and students, control and evaluation by the leadership. The inhibiting factors are facilities and infrastructure as well as costs.

Abstract

This research was conducted in State Elementary School of Ngapanrejo in Bandongan District Magelang Regency with taking all students from grade 1 to 5 with overall 221 students as population. The research method was qualitative description systematically, factually, and accurately concerning the fact that happened in elementary schools. The aim research was that how to know the rate of student participation in accepting and understanding the lesson through visual communication, emphasizing they not to undertaking face-to-face learning. The resulting research was that the external obstacles affect teacher's explanation for students, influencing in understanding rates in the class and the obstacles were the signal, internet quota, and teaching method. The internal obstacles were gained from parents not caring toward students learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the concepts and models of integration implemented by Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM). USIM was chosen as the focus of this study because of its firm commitment to the implementation of integration. For instance, the USIM vision statement makes it clear that the university has an ambition to become a “leader in the integration of naqli and aqli knowledge”. The method of data collection used in this study involved the analysis of document and interviews. Documentation was used to obtain data related to integration concepts and models applied in USIM. Then, interviews were conducted to gather information from key informant to supplement the findings from the documentation. It was found that the integration concepts and models applied at USIM consist of four categories or levels namely: al-nusus (ayatization), al-muqaranah (comparison), al-taqyim (adaptation) and at-tafaqquh (integration). These four concepts were have been implemented in detail in the learning process, as well as in research and community development.

Abstract

This research was conducted to measure the attainment of respect for parents, humility, frugality and simple life. It is important to discuss recall is one of the competencies that must be achieved by the participant students in junior high school. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods, with the amount of participation of 23 people from 8 class D junior Mathla'ul Anwar Margahayu Bandung regency. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire sheet with 10 indicators to measure the attitudes of students. The conclusions of this study are (1) the overall attitude of the students shows a variety of results with an average achievement of 61%. (2) indicators that have not reached the maximum score are humble, frugal and simple living attitudes. The recommendation of this research is the need for special attention from parents to instill this character through proper parenting for teenagers.

Abstract

Every industrial revolution will affect all aspects of life including Islamic education, as will the current industrial revolution 4.0 which has, is and will continue to influence all aspects of Islamic education, including influencing of learning media in Islamic education, and it is impossible for us to almost avoid this influence. Each influence brings positive and negative sides, and which will always be studied, how to maximize the positive side and minimize or avoid the negative side. This study will discuss how is the concept of Islamic learning media in this milenial era. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis technique by using library research design. The results of this study reveal that learning media for the industrial era 4.0. namely technology-based learning media of the industrial era 4.0 is the right learning media for learning of students in this milenial era such as social media which incidentally is very familiar among the students. Considering this problem is a problem that the world of education is currently facing, this study is a very important to be constantly examined by Islamic religious education experts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of scientific approach learning and variation in teaching style on students’learning motivationat junior high schools in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru. This research was correlational research including in quantitative approach. This research used random sampling as the sampling technique. Data were analyzed by using simple regression, multiple regression and coefficient of determination (r2) techniques. The results of data analysis showed that firstly, there was a significant influence of scientific approach learning on students’learning motivation at state junior high schools in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru with a level of influence of 0.279 and the significant value of 0,000 <0.05, secondly, there was a significant influence of variation inteaching style on students’learning motivation at state junior high schools in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru with a level of influence of 0.226 and the significant value of 0,000 <0.05, and lastly, there was a significant influence of scientific approach learning and variationin teaching style on students' learning motivation with a significant value of 0,000 <0.05 and the percentage of R2 (R square) of 0.090 or (9%). It shows that the percentage of contribution of independent variables (the learning of scientific approach and variation inteaching style) on the dependent variable (student motivation) was 9% meanwhile the remains (91%) were influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Nadiem Makarim as Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia explained his ideas about #MerdekaBelajar. One of the points is the replacement of the National Standard School Examination (USBN) into a Minimum Competency Assessment and Character Survey. There are three components which are assessed namely literacy, numeracy and character. This concept needs to be explored by linking it with pre-existing education concepts in order to be assessed about their conceptual and praxis. Through qualitative research library research shows the concept of #Merdeka Belajar is very consistent with Ibn Sina's view of education. Ibn Sina in his writings and concepts also emphasizes the importance of reading, mathematics and science and noble morals. The concept of #MerdekaBelajar and Ibn Sina's thinking in harmony and complementary. Although there are differences in the importance of developing physical aspects that have not been discussed in the Minimum Competency Assessment and Character Survey in Indonesia.

Abstract

The ability to recognize letters is an important ability developed in children to prepare children to enter the next level of education. This study aims to develop the ability to recognize the letters in children using big book media in Mutiara Almadani Kindergarden. This research uses classroom action research approach (collaborative classroom action research). The study population is children of Mutiara Almadani Kindergarten Sungai Penuh City which amounts to 200 people which is divided into 10 study groups and sampling technique is cluster sampling, that is B3 group which is 20 children. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis with percentage and qualitative analysis. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to recognize letters that is in the initial condition of 45% increase in cycle I to 60,42%, in cycle II increased by 75% and in cycle III to 88,33% with very developed criteria good. Thus it can be concluded that the media big book can develop the ability to recognize the letters of children in Mutiara Almadani Kindergarten Sungai Penuh City.

Abstract

The existence of madrasa or school based in pesantren has been impressed as an institution that stands and has a spirit (ruh) that is different from the pesantren. Even if these two institutions can synergize positively, it is possible to produce better quality output. This research is intended to examine in depth the opportunities to synergize the Islamic education system between pesantren and madrasas in order to become more effective educational institutions. This research is qualitative research with emphasis on the study of literature. The results of this study indicate that the opportunity to synergize pesantren and madrasas as alternative educational institutions is very wide considering the education system that runs between the two is generally still separate. This step can be started by uniting management into an integral system, implementing an integral curriculum and evaluating comprehensively.
