Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of principal's servant leadership and teachers' emotional intelligence on teachers' job satisfaction with teachers' organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as mediating variable. Abstract

The resolution of a crisis necessitates the implementation of efficient problem-solving strategies and the ability to make effective decisions. The occurrence of a crisis in schools presented various risks to the well-being of teachers, staff, and students, as well as the overall objectives, vision, and mission of the schools. Consequently, school leaders were confronted with significant challenges in addressing these issues while maintaining students' academic performance and minimising overall disruptions in education. This study aimed to examine the strategies and approaches employed by school leaders for effective problem-solving and decision-making in times of crisis. The objective was achieved by employing a qualitative research design. This study involved conducting semi-structured interviews with six school leaders from government secondary schools under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education (MOE). The selected schools were from three district education offices (PPD) located in Kedah. This study provided a valuable lesson for educators, policymakers, and other related stakeholders on how to deal with crises in the future.

Abstract

This study discusses the adoption of e-learning as an educational innovation to overcome physical limitations between students and teachers, especially in vocational schools. E-learning offers an alternative to conventional learning with time and place flexibility, as well as a student-centered approach. This study employs a qualitative research method with a narrative approach to analyze instructional design in the adoption of e-learning in vocational schools. The study involves 12 teachers, 12 students, and 4 school leaders from public and private vocational schools in Yogyakarta. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed using NVivo software to identify the dominant characteristics of instructional design in e-learning. The three main characteristics found are: well-stored feedback features, opportunities for users to provide feedback, and user authority to access all learning content. The research results show that feedback features in e-learning are crucial for evaluation and interaction between teachers and students. Users can provide feedback in the form of comments, which helps improve students' understanding of the learning material. Additionally, user authority to access e-learning content allows students and teachers to access materials anytime and anywhere, enhancing their flexibility and interest in using e-learning. This study concludes that effective adoption of e-learning in vocational schools can be enhanced through appropriate instructional design, with clear feedback features and access authority. This can address various challenges in vocational education, such as time and place constraints, and help in diversifying students' skills and abilities.

Abstract

Learning Outcome (LO) is a formulation of learning outcomes expected to be met by students. LO is structured to equip the competencies that graduates want to achieve. Each course in a program carries LO content that students must achieve. Through the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) prepared by expert lecturers, it will be seen how the LO is provided through the learning process and how to measure it. This study aims to analyze the achievement of LO in 8 (eight) Study Programs at the University of Bengkulu's FKIP which are being proposed for international accreditation. This LO achievement analysis is also linked to the competence of lecturers. The LO used by the 8 Study Programs to meet the requirements of the IQF is in line with international frameworks, one of which is the Europian Qualification Framework (EQF). Therefore, the results of this study support the quality assurance of a program or institution in achieving one of the components of international accreditation. The results of this study found that the scientific fields of the lecturers in each study program were in accordance with the qualifications (qualified) and could be accounted for which was strengthened by the fact that almost all lecturers had the status of certified lecturers. This is supported by the number of reputable national and international publications, scientific works that are registered with copyrights, works in the form of books or book chapters that are registered with ISBNs and others. In addition, learning outcomes have been measured in each program and show readiness towards international accreditation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the Undergraduate Economic Education Study Program, the State University of Malang and Surabaya State University so that it can contribute in the form of information or a picture of program accountability related to service quality, become the basis for determining performance standards and achievement standards that must be achieved and motivate institutions to achieve higher levels of productivity. A mixed method method that applies the CIPP model developed by Guba and Stufflebeam was used in this study to obtain comprehensive results. The research was conducted at  Undergraduate Economic Education, State University of Malang, and Surabaya State University. Based on the evaluation of the CIPP model in the ndergraduate Economic Education study program, the State University of Malang and Surabaya State University, it can be concluded that the two study programs have achieved the excellent category. This is achieved through acquiring A and AQAS international accreditation for both study programs. However, this achievement has yet to 100% meet the criteria of national standards according to applicable regulations, so evaluation and improvement can be carried out to improve the quality of Indonesian education further. The  Undergraduate Economic Education study program of the State University of Malang and Surabaya State University is advised to evaluate educational programs independently and periodically as material for improving and developing study programs following the needs of society and the times, as well as considering policy recommendations that have been prepared in the results of this evaluation research.
