Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the relation between: 1) achievement motivation with teachers performance, 2) work discipline with teachers performance, 3) pedagogic competence with teachers performance also 4) achievement motivation, work discipline, pedagogic competence simultaneously with teachers performance. The kind of this research is quantitative by using method of ex post facto. Data are obtained from questionnaire and documentation, then analyzed by used correlational technique and regression both simple and double. The results of this research are: 1) there is positive relation between achievement motivation with teachers performance, 2) there is positive relation between work discipline with teachers performance, 3) there is positive relation between pedagogic competence with teachers performance, also 4) there is positive relation between achievement motivation, work discipline and pedagogic competence with teachers performance, it means that getting better achievement motivation, work discipline and pedagogic competence of teachers, the teachers performance will be better too.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis hubungan antara: 1) motivasi berprestasi dengan kinerja guru, 2) disiplin kerja dengan kinerja guru, 3) kompetensi pedagogik dengan kinerja guru juga 4) motivasi berprestasi, disiplin kerja, kompetensi pedagogik bersamaan dengan kinerja guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode ex post facto. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasional dan regresi sederhana dan ganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) ada hubungan yang positif antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kinerja guru, 2) ada hubungan positif antara disiplin kerja dengan kinerja guru, 3) ada hubungan positif antara kompetensi pedagogik dengan kinerja guru, 4) ada hubungan positif antara motivasi berprestasi, disiplin kerja dan kompetensi pedagogik dengan kinerja guru, berarti mendapatkan motivasi berprestasi yang baik, disiplin kerja dan kompetensi pedagogik guru, kinerja guru akan lebih baik.Kata kunci: disiplin kerja, kinerja guru, kompetensi pedagogik, motivasi berprestasi

Abstract

This research is conducted to explain teacher management in SMK Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung focused on: Recruitment and placement of teacher; Salary of teacher; Development of teacher; Discharge of teacher. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The source of research is gotten from informant through interview toward head of Gajah Mada foundation, the principle, the vice principle, and teacher. The researcher is using data collecting technique such as; observation, documentation, and interview. The next, the researcher analyzes the data and facts using triangulation data through the process of reduction of data, display of data, and verification since before and after collecting the data. The result of research show the implementation of teacher management in SMK Gajah Mada doing good process of teacher managements. This school is applying and evaluating implementation of teacher management.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen pendidik di SMK Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung.terkait: Proses perekrutan dan penempatan pendidik;Pemberian kompensasi terhadap pendidik;Pembinaan dan pengembangan pendidik; Pelepasan/pemberhentian pendidik. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif.Sumber data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari informan yaitu wawancara.Pengumpulan data menerapkan tehnik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Data-data serta fakta yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisa menggunakan metode triangulasi data melaui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan serta verifikasi yang dilakukan selama dan setelah pengumpula data. Hasil penelitianSMK Gajah Mada dalam melaksanakan proses manajemen pendidik secara umum cukup baik terhadap para pendidik. Sekolah menerapkan implementasi manajemen pendidik dan mengevaluasinya.Namun perlu adanya peningkatan terkait prosedur perekrutan, serta penempatan pendidik.Kata Kunci: implementasi, manajemen, pendidik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine, and analyze the influence of certification, work climate, and work motivation on the performance of teachers either partially or simultaneously. This research was a quantitative approach using associative type, by taking a sample of 46 teachers. Data were collected using questionnaire. Data were analysed using path analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results indicated that certification has direct influence on the performance of teachers. Work climate directly affects the performance of teachers. Work motivation directly influences the performance of teachers. Certification, work climate, and work motivation simultaneously have significant impact on the performance of teachers. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, dan menganalisis pengaruh sertifikasi, iklim kerja, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis asosiatif, dengan mengambil sampel 46 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis), dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sertifikasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru. Iklim kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru.Sertifikasi, iklim kerja, dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.Kata kunci: sertifikasi, motivasi kerja, iklim kerja.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: 1) There is a positive and significant influence of the he principal transformational leadership toward the teacher performance, 2) There is a positive and significant influence of interpersonal communication toward the teacher performance, 3) There is a positive and significant influence jointly between transformational leadership and interpersonal communication toward the teacher performance. This research is quantitative research with survey method. The research data were taken using a Likert Scale, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and interventional statistics. The research results give the conclusions that: 1) there is a positive and significant influence of principal transformational leadership toward the teachers performance in 73.3%, 2) there is a positive and significant influence of interpersonal communication toward the teachers performance in 79.3%, 3) there is a positive and significant influence jointly between transformational leadership and interpersonal communication toward the teacher performance in 79.7%.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dia terhadap kinerja guru, 2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari komunikasi antarpribadi terhadap kinerja guru, 3) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan komunikasi antarpribadi terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan Skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik diskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian memberikan kesimpulan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di 73.3%, 2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari komunikasi antarpribadi terhadap kinerja guru di 79.3%, 3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan komunikasi antarpribadi terhadap kinerja guru 79.7%.Kata kunci: kepemimpinan transformasional, kinerja guru, komunikasi interpersonal

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the principal supervisory and motivation of teachers working with teacher performance at Junior High Schools. This research is a quantitative research study that aimed to investigate the events that have occured and then trace backwards to determine the factors that cause the occurance of these events. Data collecting in this study was using a questionnaire with Likert scale. While the analysis of the data was using a simple linear regression equation and multiple regression. The result showed that the principal supervisory was related with the performance in the amount of 73,1%. Motivation of teachers working was related with the performance for 64,5%. Then jointly relationship between the two factors were related at 82,1%.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru dengan kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gadingrejo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peristiwa yang telah terjadi dan kemudian merunut ke belakang untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya peristiwa tersebut. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dengan skala Likert. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan persamaan regresi linier sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hubungan supervisi kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru sebesar 73,1%. Hubungan motivasi kerja guru dengan kinerja guru sebesar 64,5%. Kemudian hubungan secara bersama-sama antara supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 82,1%.Kata kunci: kinerja guru, motivasi kerja guru, supervisi kepala sekolah

Abstract

Abstract: Educators Communication with Parents in Increasing the Activities and Learning Achievement of Students in Primary Schools. This research aims to describe the communication between educators and parents in increasing the activity and learning achievement of students. The research used is descriptive qualitative case study method. Data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion (verification). The results showed that 1) communication between educators and parents through official meetings at school, home visits, periodic reports, attitudes of educators to parents and communication outside of school via cell phones, 2) barriers to communication between educators and parents, including busyness of parents, misunderstanding, slow response, difficult signal constraints, lack of focus, distance from home from school, embarrassment and reluctance, and lack of understanding of the content of the conversation, 3) efforts to overcome communication barriers with people parents by changing the schedule of attending school with a partner, home visits, delivering the results of meetings by telephone, and implementing effective communication, 4) there is an impact of communication between educators and parents on the activities and learning achievement of students.Keywords: communicator, educators, parentsDOI: 10.23960/jmmp .v8.i3.2020

Abstract

Abstract: The Relationship between Tutoring and Parenting Patterns with Primary School Students' Learning Achievement. The problems in this study are incorrect tutoring and parenting patterns and the learning achievements of learners who have not yet reached minimum criteria. The purpose of this study is to know the relationships of learning guidance and upbringing from parents with achievement of learning. This method of research is a correlational with a quantitative type. The population in this study is a class III protege with 110 elementary school learners, with 52 sample. Sample technique using a proporsional random sampling. Data collection using an angket, and a documentary. Research suggests that there is a link between study guidance and learning achievement and that there is a correlation between parent upbringing and learning achievement. Abstract: Strategy for Teacher Professionalism Development in Improving the Quality of Learning at MIN 45 Pidie. Professionalization in the field of teacher training means increasing all the power and effort in order to achieve optimal services that will be provided to the community. To improve the quality of education today, the professionalization of teachers is a must. The development of teacher professionalism is intended to stimulate, maintain, and improve teacher competence in solving education and learning problems that have an impact on improving the quality of student learning outcomes. Professionalism itself can mean the quality, quality, and behavior which are the characteristics of a profession or professional person. The purpose of this research is to describe the success of a teacher in madrasah, which is expected to have an influence on the quality of the madrasah. It is hoped that the professionalism of a teacher will help the development of madrasas. This research is a field research which is used as a descriptive qualitative research. This qualitative research is carried out by reducing data, presenting data and concluding / verification. Data collection methods in this research are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research show that the efforts of madrasah principals to improve teacher professionalism, good coordination link all teaching staff in madrasas which are the basis for improving teacher professionalism, pedagogical competence, professional competence, character competence and social competence. Keywords: strategy, development, professionalism, teacherDOI: 10.23960/jmmp .v9.i1.2021

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of implementation of pop-up book media towards the first grade students’ reading and writing skills of SD Negeri 6 Gedong Air. The method was quasi experiment used in this research. The research design was non equivalent control group design. Furthermore, The population were class IA and IC consisting of 80 students. The samples were class IA and IC consisting of 52 students. In determining the samples, the research used purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data were test and non-test. The results of the analysis using simple linear regression showed that rcount rtable (0,845 0,381) of reading skills and (0,869 0,381) of writing skills. Which meant that there is a effect of the implementation of pop-up books towards students’ reading and writing skills of the first grade students at SD Negeri 6 Gedong Air Bandar Lampung city, at the year of 2019/2020.Keywords: Reading Skills, Pop-Up Book Media, WritingDOI : 10.23960/jmmp .v8.i3.2020

Abstract

In accordance with the purpose of vocational education, which is to prepare novice workers for the needs of the industrial world, especially industries that hav­­e collaborated with the SMK. SMKN 2 Serang City must look at the conditions and situations in the industry so that SMK graduates can later be absorbed into the DUDI. The new trend for SMK must strive for comprehensive reform and seriously advance SMKN 2 Kota Serang is not only a dream but there is no certainty in the achievement of these graduates of SMKN 2 Kota Serang. At the level of the learning process, a paradigmatic shift is needed in carrying out innovations or new breakthroughs in the learning process in the SMK. Vocational education in Indonesia is a shortcut to filling DUDI's workforce while reducing the level of unemployment with skills in accordance with their respective expertise. Indicators in practical learning based on BMW, namely work, continuing education and entrepreneurship according to their expertise. As long as one condition has to be fulfilled, for example establishing a collaboration between SMKN 2 Kota Serang and DUDI and not only cooperating in the form of an MOU but the industrial world should be able to provide an experience to the world of vocational education, and vice versa. For example, industry share knowledge at SMKN 2 Kota Serang and SMKN 2 Kota Serang should also seek experience in industry.
