Abstract

One of the main benchmarks for perceiving the triumph of learning of student is by beholding the extent to which learning achievements are attained. Learning achievement is the degree to which student’s knowledge of the given material is received.This study focuses on the extent to which religious motivation of the students relates to their learning achievements. Data were obtained by using a questionnaire. The subjects of this study were 116 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Makassar. The data were analyze with descriptive correlational analysis.The result of this study indicates a significant relationship between religious motivation and student achievements. There is 0,233 of correlation coefficient with a significance of 0,001. Hypothesis was tested by comparing the significance level (p-value)with matrix that if the significance is 0,05 then Ho is accepted, if significance <0,05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In this case, it could be seen that there is 0,233 of the correlation coefficient with 0,001 if significance. Owing to that significance which is <0.05  then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the Arabic learning system in MA Putra Bau Bau Darussalam Islamic Boarding School in Bau Bau City. From these problems, this study aims to evaluate the Arabic learning system in Darussalam Islamic Boarding School which is focused on the main issues, namely: 1) How is the compatibility of the Antasedent Arabic learning system entry in Darussalam Liabuku Bau Bau Islamic boarding school with the process standard?This type of research is a program evaluation with a descriptive qualitative approach, in this study the authors assess the quality level and conditions of the Arabic language learning system in Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Liabuku Bau Bau. To obtain the data, three data collection techniques were used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. After data collection, the data processing is then processed through three stages, namely: 1) data reduction, 2) data display, 3) and drawing conclusions / verification.The results of this study indicate that learning Arabic in MA Putra Darussalam Liabuku Islamic boarding school is fulfilled with 3 standard processes, namely: achieving the existing Arabic learning objectives, teachers in MA Kulliyatul Muallimin al-Islamiyah Darussalam Liabuku Islamic boarding school Bau Bau make I 'dad al-Tadrīs to support the existing Arabic teaching and learning activities, because all of his learning uses Arabic as the medium. In evaluating students 'theoretical or practical language skills, the teacher evaluates learning in the form of oral examinations (imtihᾶn syafahi) and written examinations (imtihᾶn tahrīrī), so that the assessment of students' Arabic Arabic abilities cannot be separated in the four language skills.From this research, a strategic recommendation can be adopted in improving the learning system of KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Liabuku, namely teachers working with Language Builders in language programs to improve the ability of the Santri Arabic language and provide a Language Laboratory to improve students' listening skills.

Abstract

The results of the moral development of the students of class XI of the Darul Aman Gombara Islamic Boarding School in Makassar are quite good. This is based on a questionnaire distributed and interviews with several teachers, not found any students who have committed acts that violate the norms of behavior / morals. Behavior of students of class XI Darul Aman Gombara Makassar Islamic Boarding School which obtained the highest score was 87 and the lowest score was 67. The average value obtained from 30 students was 78.3. So it can be concluded that the behavior of students of class XI Darul Islamic Boarding School safe in Gombara Makassar is included in both categories. The relationship between moral development and the behavior of students in class XI Darul Aman Gombara Islamic Boarding School Makassar, namely the level of relationship is classified as very strong. In the correlation coefficient table and the t test results obtained rtable is 0.99> 0.361, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This can be concluded that there is a correlation or the relationship between moral development with the behavior of students of class XI Darul Aman Gombara Islamic Boarding School in Makassar, with a very strong correlation level.

Abstract

Current research about instructional leadership and teacher self-efficacy lacked how its variable constructed. They largely treated instructional leadership and teacher self-efficacy as a single construct and ignored dimension inside. Purpose of this research is to investigate effect dimension of instructional leadership on teacher self-efficacy’s dimension in Senior High School Kediri with 124 teachers as respondent gathered by cluster sampling technique. Principal Instructional Management Rating Scale (PIMRS) and Teacher Self Efficacy (TSES) are used as an instrument to measure these variables. Partial Least Squares (PLS) is used for data analysis. The result indicate that managing the instructional program and developing the school learning climate predict instructional strategies (R2= 0.31), defining the school mission and developing the school learning climate predict classroom management (R2= 0.29), and three dimension of instructional leadership predict student engagement (R2= 0.30). Finally, author suggested some recomendation for the future studies.

Abstract

Tulisan ini akan mendeskripsikan bagaimana bentuk-bentuk tindak kekerasan dapat terjadi dalam lembaga pendidikan, latar belakang dan dampak dari tindak kekerasan yang dilakukan guru terhadap siswa, serta mengetahui upaya mengatasi tindak kekerasan yang terjadi di lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini meggunakan library research, dengan mengambil data yang bersumber dari berbagai literatur ilmia, lalu dianalisis menggunakan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa kasus kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh guru terhadap siswa baik dari kekerasan fisik, maupun psikis mengakibatkan siswa kehilangan motivasi belajar dan kehilangan kepercayaan diri. Ajaran Islam dengan kitab sucinya al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman bagi umat Islam mempunyai jalan keluar untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini denga cara membangun komunikasi yang baik antara guru dengan siswa melalui keknik “Qoulan”  yang apabila diterapkan dalam berkomunikasi dapat berimplikasi pada harmonisnya hubungan guru dan siswa.

Abstract

Changes that occur due to globalization affect the entire existing order, an era that will not be separated from the negative and positive elements. One of them is the influence of young people on things that are not good, as well as on morals and attitudes of human behavior. Through education, especially pesantren education, the government seeks to fortify young people with role models of life in the nation and state. This study aims to explain the role of the Santri Trilogy in fostering national and state awareness of the students of the Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo boarding school. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach type case study method. Based on the results of the study, it is known that several important points in fostering national and state awareness are through the cultivation of habits in daily life in the form of making mandates mandatory, obeying pesantren regulations, and mutual cooperation. And the efforts made by the government through instilling national and state awareness, being involved in state activities, and holding national seminars.

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is to improve the science learning outcomes of human body skeleton material through audio-visual media in grade IV SDN Manggarai 09 South Jakarta. This study uses a cycle model from Stephen Kemmis and MC. Taggart. The research was carried out through the stages of recording, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The results obtained from this study were an increase in science learning outcomes in grade IV SDN Manggarai 09 South Jakarta. In the first cycle the student learning outcomes were 65%. In cycle II, 75% of student learning outcomes have achieved the desired results. The implication of the results of this study is that using audio-visual media can be used as a means to improve science learning outcomes of human body frame material for grade IV elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan kebhinnekaan di Madrasah Madani Alauddin Makassar. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara kepada siswa, guru, dan kepala madrasah. Dalam proses penanaman nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan kebhinnekaan pada peserta didik di tengah arus globalisasi dilakukan melalui berbagai cara, melalui pembelajaran PKn di kelas, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta mengadakan kegiatan positif di sekolah untuk menunjang jiwa kebangsaan peserta didik. Faktor pendukung dalam menanamkan nilai kebangsaan dan kebhinnekaan pada peserta didik di antaranya adalah kerjasama pihak sekolah yakni kepala sekolah dan guru dalam memberikan contoh atau keteladanan yang baik kepada peserta didik, minat peserta didik dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah, sarana dan prasarana yang mencukupi. Faktor penghambat dalam menanamkan nilai kebangsaan pada peserta didik di antaranya adalah karakter peserta didik  dari latar belakang keluarga yang berbeda, dan peserta didik belum bisa membagi waktu untuk kegiatan di sekolah dengan baik. Untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam menanamkan nilai kebangsaan dan kebhinnekaan pada peserta didik adalah para guru mengadakan problem solving dengan upaya memotivasi peserta didik  untuk saling menghargai antar sesama, pihak sekolah yakni kepala sekolah dan guru mengadakan evaluasi setiap semester kepada peserta didik untuk melihat perkembangan peserta didik.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is is there a meaning of understanding human rights towards other people's opinions? The purpose of this research is to see whether or not there is an understanding of human rights regarding the attitudes of other people's opinions. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 55 students of the PPKn FKIP UAD class of 2009-2014 who had taken the Human Rights and Democracy Education courses. The data was collected through a multiple choice test (multiple choice) to measure the variable understanding of human rights and a questionnaire to measure the variable of respect for other people's opinions. The data analysis method used was product display analysis and simple regression analysis. The results showed that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted or stated that "there is an effect of understanding human rights on respect for others" based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination calculated as 8.4%. This indicates that as much as 8.4% of changes in the attitude of respecting others who respect human rights.

Abstract

The phenomenon of early marriage in Ponorogo Regency has increased from time to time. Early marriage is not an ordinary marriage because the perpetrators marry under the age set in Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning marriage. This study aims to determine the factors behind the occurrence of early marriage in Ponorogo Regency. The method used in writing this article is literature study, by analyzing various relevant research works. These factors include education factors, family or parent factors, environmental factors, community and customs, economic factors and accidents or pregnancy outside of marriage. The most influencing factor for early marriage in Ponorogo Regency is pregnancy outside of marriage or 95%.
