Abstract

The Stunting Reduction Acceleration Program is a national priority program in intervening stunting throughout Indonesia including Tana Toraja district as the highest stunting prevalence district in South Sulawesi. Based on the 2022 Electronic Application for Community-Based Nutrition Recording and Reporting (e-PPGBM), Tana Toraja district is the third highest stunting district in South Sulawesi province and the second highest stunting district based on the 2022 Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) results. The results showed that stunting prevention education through the accelerated stunting reduction program at the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning of Tana Toraja Regency has been carried out optimally based on the results of data analysis using three indicators from Soren C Winter, namely inter-organizational behavior, implementor behavior or lower-level bureaucracy and target group behavior. Indicators of inter-organizational behavior and indicators of implementor behavior or lower-level bureaucracy are carried out, but indicators of target group behavior are not optimally implemented due to the fact that there are still some people who refuse to receive assistance and participate in program activities because they consider stunting a disgrace and it was found that there are still some people who stunt their children who are not stunted with the motivation to get food assistance. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach with the research objective to determine the extent of the implementation of the accelerated stunting reduction program at the Tana Toraja District Health Office.

Abstract

The application of information and communication technology (ICT) in public services and education has become a main focus for many city governments in this digital era. Mojokerto City is no exception, introducing innovation through the Palapa Mojo application. This application integrates various government services into one platform, with a feature that aims to enhance education for the people of Mojokerto City, namely Siti Pinter, which provides technology training for the public. This study investigates the implementation of Palapa Mojo and the factors influencing its development in Mojokerto City. A case study method is used to gain a deep understanding of the implementation process and the associated inhibiting factors. Data is collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research results show that Palapa Mojo has successfully increased the efficiency of public services, improved digital literacy, and provided wider educational access through the Siti Pinter platform. This application, which includes key features like Siti Pinter, is designed to enhance the public's digital literacy and technological skills. Despite receiving positive responses from the community, the development of this application faces various obstacles. Internal inhibiting factors include the lack of policy integration for the application and low commitment from organizational units (OPD). External inhibiting factors include dependency on third parties for application development, difficulties in integrating with central government systems, and low digital literacy among the population. To overcome these obstacles, clear policies and regulations, strong commitment from all OPDs, and enhanced coordination with the central government are necessary. Additionally, intensive socialization, education, and training efforts must be undertaken to increase the digital literacy of the population. With this approach, it is expected that the Palapa Mojo application can provide maximum benefits, improve the quality of public services, and strengthen the technological capabilities of the people of Mojokerto City.

Abstract

Every leader in running the organization is unique with different talents. Thus, the organization needs to have talent mapping for the selected structural position. In the workplace, leaders influence the behavior of members, because they are seen as exemplary representatives of the organization and have the authority to evaluate members' performance or make decisions related to their promotion. The leadership literature has developed around four main domains, namely the trait approach, behavioral approach, contingency theory, and inspirational theory. There are many theories of Leadership in both the public and private sectors. One of them is the theory of Transformational Leadership. Transformational leadership is part of the “New Leadership” paradigm which pays more attention to the charismatic and affective elements of leadership. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method. Systematic research through review is a body of study that focuses on methods of collecting library data, or research whose study subjects are studied using various sources of literature, is the methodology used in this literature. The results of this study indicate that the dimensions in the Transformational Leadership model have their characteristics to be applied in a particular organization, be it public, private, or third-sector organizations or Non-Government Organizations (NGOs). This can be interpreted that the character of leadership that prioritizes an individual approach to subordinates by paying attention to the organizational climate has a major impact on the organization both in the form of the birth of innovations and problem-solving. This paper can be a reference for leaders and managers of an organization in leading its members.

Abstract

This study addresses both empirical and practical challenges related to the performance of new ventures, focusing on the roles of University Business Incubators (UBIs) and Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) among first-time founders. The study investigates how the support provided by UBIs and the entrepreneurial mindset of founders influence the success of new ventures. Employing an explanatory research design with a quantitative approach, this study examines the relationships between UBIs, EO, and New Venture Performance (NVP). Data were collected from 100 respondents associated with Brawijaya University's incubator program and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SmartPLS 3. The variables studied include University Business Incubator (X1), Entrepreneurial Orientation (X2), and New Venture Performance (Y). The results indicate that UBIs have a significant positive effect on NVP, evidenced by a t statistic of 5.468 and a p value of 0.000. EO also significantly impacts NVP, with a t statistic of 4.291 and a p value of 0.000. Furthermore, the combined effect of UBIs and EO on NVP is substantial, as shown by a Goodness of Fit (GoF) Index of 0.686, suggesting that these factors together account for a significant portion of the variance in venture performance. The discussion highlights that while UBIs provide essential structural support, such as mentorship and resources, EO fosters a proactive and innovative culture crucial for venture success. Practically, universities should invest in robust incubator programs and promote entrepreneurial education to maximize startup success. Theoretically, this study contributes to the understanding of how structural and cultural elements within educational institutions jointly influence new venture performance, suggesting a dual approach of support and cultural development.

Abstract

The social phenomenon of child marriage is something that often occurs in various regions in Indonesia. This is due to the lack of public understanding of the importance of the maturity of the age of marriage and also not understanding the negative impact of child marriage. In increasing public understanding, the government launched the Generasi Berencana (Genre) Program with the aim of preparing family life for teenagers, especially education, work and marriage with full planning. This article aims to analyze Education-based Child Marriage Prevention through the GenRe Program of DPPKB Malang Regency based on the theory of policy implementation effectiveness according to Riant Nugroho (2020). The research method used is literature study and secondary data analysis. The results showed that the prevention of child marriage through the GenRe program in Malang district was said to be effective, where three of the five indicators were appropriate, namely the right policy, right implementer, and right target indicators, while the right environment and right process indicators were not optimal.
