Abstract

Not all students obey the rules at school, there are still students who are not disciplined, such as students making chaos in class, disturbing friends, and so on. The application of reward and punishment is one of the strategies for inculcating student discipline. Reward (award) and punishment (punishment) are given as reinforcement and motivation for students in the learning process. To discipline students, students must consider various situations, and understand the factors that influence them, such as studying the experiences of students at school through cumulative note cards, learning the names of students directly, considering the learning environment and student environment, giving clear assignments, understandable, simple and not long-winded, passionate and enthusiastic in doing learning to be used as role models by students, making something different and varied, not monotonous, so as to help discipline and passion for learning students, make clear and firm rules so that can be carried out as well as possible by students and their environment, prepare daily activities so that what is done in learning is according to the plan, there are no many deviations, adjust arguments to the abilities of students, do not force students according to the teacher's understanding know how to measure students from the ability of their teachers, make clear and firm rules so that they can be carried out as well as possible by students and their environment.

Abstract

Teacher Training Management at Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School Medan. This study aims to determine: (1) Teacher Training Planning, (2) Teacher Training Organizing, (3) Teacher Training Implementation, (4) Teacher Training Supervision. This study uses qualitative research methods, data collected by observation, interviews, and reviewing documents. The findings of this study reveal four findings, namely: 1) Teacher training planning is contained in the vision, mission and goals of the pesantren and in collaboration with the government or other agencies, whether it is held by public or private universities, 2) Organizing teacher training involves several things, namely: discussion methods and training strategies, as well as democratic leadership in terms of encouraging teacher training motivation, 3) The implementation of teacher training is designed by providing opportunities for teachers to follow it and take a psychological approach and also give appreciation and reword for achievements, 4) Supervision of teacher training This is done by calculating the percentage of training activities and holding teacher performance evaluation meetings and implementing the results of the training.

Abstract

The world of education is expected to be able to be democratic. Universities as a collection of academic actors who have broad insight and are aware of their different rights must of course be the pioneers of actualizing democratic personality and it is hoped that there will be no discrimination even if only a little. The purpose of this study was to determine the personality of educators at Aceh State Islamic Religious Colleges; and the attitude of students towards the personality of educators at the Aceh State Islamic Religious College. This research is field research, with the type of qualitative research. The subjects of this study were Lecturers and Students at the State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN) Aceh consisting of IAIN Lhokseumawe Campus, STAIN Meulaboh, and UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques using closed interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that the Personality Actualization of Educators at Aceh State Islamic Religious Colleges had been actualized well. This is based on the results of interviews with lecturers at three Aceh State Islamic Religious Universities. and Students' Attitudes towards the Personality of Educators at Aceh State Islamic Religious Colleges based on the results of the questionnaire analysis.

Abstract

Every educational organization is committed to continuing to advance, develop, and be able to survive in carrying out educational programs. For this reason, educational organizations must produce several service products with good quality, competitive prices with good service from their competitors. In addition, making continuous improvements in producing service production, namely by increasing work productivity with honest and professional work culture, effective promotions, and satisfying services for customers so as to be able to increase loyal costumers in obtaining sustainable service products. Therefore, comprehensive quality control is needed through the application of the Total Quality Management (TQM) concept. TQM is a management philosophy that focused on the need to know customer needs. The importance of taking the right action from the start, and recognizing that quality improvement will be achieved if the goals of all employees in educational organizations have become part of the overall organizational culture structure. This is because there is a close relationship between product quality and service, customer satisfaction, and profit organization. The higher the quality of a product, the higher the customer and at the same time, it will affect the reputation and electability of customers toward educational organizations. Therefore, the work productivity of educational organizations is a basic factor in considering improving the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the validity, reliability, difficulty level, differentiation, and function item problem of USBN casting in Bahasa Indonesia subjects at SMA Aceh Barat. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach. This research uses a type of quantitative descriptive research. The sample of this study amounted to 5 schools and this research data is 40 question from  the answer sheet of 50 students in each school. Data collection techniques with document studies. The data analysis techniques in this study used the AnatesV4.02 program. Analysis of problem items with a computer is a quantitative review of the question item whose calculations use the anates V4.02 application. The results of this study showed that the validity of USBN problems in Bahasa Indonesia subjects at SMA Aceh Barat district obtained 74valid questions with a validity level of 0.32-0.40 and 126 invalid questions with a degree of invalidity of 0.20. This invalidity is caused by the inaccuracy of explanation of each material by the teacher in the school so that students are unable to understand about the essence of the sentence. Reliability of USBN subjects in Bahasa Indonesia at SMA West Aceh district shows 0.61-0.73 in high reliability category. High school that gained the low reliability category was SMA Woyla of value  0.31. This is because the low understanding of students so as to cause problems classified in is very difficult. The difficulty level of USBN problems in Bahasa Indonesia subjects in SMA Kabupaten Aceh Barat can be seen from the difficulty index between 0.00 to 1.0. The degree of difficulty that dominates the difficulty level in each question studied is in the moderate category. The difficulty of this medium problem is influenced by the inaccuracy of the material provided by the teacher so that the student is not able to understand it completely. In addition, the question that is used as an evaluation is born from materials that are not taught by the teacher. The differentiation of USBN subjects in Bahasa Indonesia at SMA Aceh Barat district shows the percentage value includes a very good differentiation question 2 questions, good 56 questions, enough 71, and bad 71 questions. A series of differentiating power quality levels of this question appears that the differentiation of problems with very good quality is less compared to the quality of the differentiation of the problem with the category of good, sufficient, and bad. This quality difference because each question does not go through a validation and reliable process so as to have an effect on the differentiating power of each question. Abstract

Learning while playing can fulfill children's happiness, because children's brain growth will increase when children feel fun and happiness. Therefore, game tools are used as learning resources for children, besides the characteristics of game tools and tips for choosing them must be known by parents or teachers. The method used is a qualitative method with the type of research being literature. The results of the study indicate that the game tool is a tool designed or made to be a source of learning for early childhood in order to get a good learning experience. Some experts state that children play because they have excess energy. This energy encourages them to do activities so that they are free from feeling depressed. Furthermore, Guslinda and Kurnia argue that educational game tools are types of equipment or objects that can be used in playing where these objects can encourage and develop all children's abilities. Then the characteristics of educational game tools, one of which is a game tool that can be played with various purposes and benefits. Knowing or paying attention to the types of equipment is also very important as paying attention to the design is easy and simple. When choosing a game tool, one must choose a variety of toys. In order to avoid bad things, before choosing a game tool, observe the forms and types of games that children like.

Abstract

This article examines the strengthening of local wisdom in learning Islamic Religious Education in schools. This research leads to the development of PAI teaching materials associated with local wisdom. The purpose of this research is to find and research about PAI teaching materials that are applied by juxtaposing or linking them with local wisdom. In the process, this research does not direct the learning of Islamic Religious Education in the qualitative and quantitative domains or in combination, but this learning can use one or even both in its learning methodology. This study discusses the application of learning that leads to the development of PAI teaching materials by looking at Islamic values and local wisdom. This can be referred to as the result of observing habits that are taught and practiced in the learning process activities at school.

Abstract

This study concludes that the religiosity and sexuality of students in the city of Lhokseumawe are good. The conclusion of this study is different from the publication which states that the free sex of students in the city of Lhokseumawe is the first rank in Aceh. This study aims to find information about the religiosity and sexuality of Lhokseumawe city students, the causes of sexual behavior deviations from Lhokseumawe city students, and the Lhokseumawe city government's solution to stem the deviant sexual behavior of students. This research is a case study research, where data collection is done through in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. The results showed that, firstly, the religiosity of students was classified as good as evidenced by the pattern of Islamic school uniforms, attitudes and verbal behavior were generally good although some still needed guidance. Attitude and verbal behavior are strongly influenced by domicile origin, economic strata, and parental education. Second, student sexuality is also classified as good as evidenced by the absence of evidence of free sex among students, opposite-sex relationships are still within reasonable limits, although they still require guidance. The sexuality of students at school is strongly influenced by the care of parents in the family. Third, the researchers did not find evidence of free sex in Lhokseumawe city students, but deviations in verbal behavior in the form of pornographic remarks were still found. This behavior is strongly influenced by the socio-cultural area of origin, economic strata, and parental education. Fourth, the solution of the Lhokseumawe city government in stemming student sexual behavior deviations is divided into 3 levels. (1) at the regional level, sterilizing areas have the potential for lewdness, such as the mobile reservoir area, KP3, and Krueng Cunda. (2) the gampong level, by optimizing the potential for religiosities, such as religious tactical funds of 2 million per village, and umrah rewards for the teungku. (3) school level, with religious programs, such as congregational dhuhur prayers, regular Friday taushiah, Ramadan Islamic boarding schools, and al-Qur'an reading programs.

Abstract

Internal and external factors are factors that influence students in learning achievement. Among the internal factors that can be internalized by students in learning, achievement includes attitudes towards learning, interest, and motivation to learn, concentration in learning, in addition, there are also external factors which include: teachers as coaches in the learning process, learning infrastructure and facilities, assessment, environment social welfare of students both at school and at home as well as the curriculum applied at school. The stage of learning achievement will be easily achieved if a teacher is wise in determining the use of learning methods. These conditions will affect student achievement in responding to each component of the learning material taught by the teacher for all subjects. Although not all teachers use the same learning method approach, on the other hand, a teacher is also required to master complex learning materials so that the transfer of knowledge process in the classroom represents all learning materials as a whole.

Abstract

This study examines the Tahfizh Al-Qur’an Learning Model. The object of his research is Dayah Ar Raudhah Tahfizh Al-Qur’an Lhokseumawe. Where there is a uniqueness in Dayah Ar Raudhah, namely in the learning model that is carried out which has been proven to have been able to print Al-Qur’an memorization cadres in a shorter time compared to tahfizh Al-Qur’an educational institutions in general. This study aims to analyze the Tahfizh Al-Qur’an learning model at Dayah Ar Raudhah Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Lhokseumawe, Blang mangat District. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative research type. Data collection techniques are carried out through: Observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that, first, the learning model of Dayah Tahfizh Al-Qur’an Ar Raudhah Lhokseumawe used the Ottoman Turkish tahfizh model or known as the backward sequence model with a standard time of memorizing 30 juz for 20. Second, the implementation of the Dayah Tahfizh Al-Qur' learning model. An Ar Raudhah Lhokseumawe was carried out in several stages. The first stage, known as the pre-tahfizh program for 6 months. The second stage, memorizing with the Ottoman model that has been set, is carried out in several steps, (1) Talib reads repeatedly the page to be memorized. (2) Memorizing verse by verse by dividing 1 page into 3 parts, 1 part consisting of 5 lines of verses from the Qur'an, then memorizing 5 lines of verses from the Qur'an from the bottom to the top 5 lines of the beginning of the verse. (3) the memorization of the first round starts from the last page of juz 1 then juz the last page of juz 2, until the last page of juz 30, after that it is continued with the second round starting from the second last page of juz second to the penultimate page of juz the second last page of juz 30 so so on until it's finished. The third stage, the evaluation stage is carried out through 2 stages. The first stage, each talib depositing memorization to his ustadz. The assessment is based on fluency, makaharijul letters and tajwid. Third, constraints in the application of the tahfizh learning model to Dayah Ar Raudhah Tahfizh Al-Qur’an Lhokseumawe. first, feeling difficult when starting to memorize the Qur'an, because memorizing the Qur'an from the last page of each juz. And have to start from the beginning for the talib who had previously memorized the Qur'an. Second, can't confirm or determine how many juz memorized because the system is round.
