Abstract

The widespread adoption of technological advancements today has brought changes to many aspects of society, including education. The Ministry of Education and Culture has sought to adjust teaching strategies to accommodate new technological advancements, such as internet usage. SMP NU Sunan Giri Kepanjen, which has implemented digital learning, follows these guidelines. This policy is developed with consideration for the latest technological advancements in the field of education, particularly in Islamic Religious Education. This study aims to assess the level of digitization in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP NU Sunan Giri Kepanjen; to examine student learning motivation in PAI classes at SMP NU Sunan Giri Kepanjen; and to identify the factors that facilitate or hinder the digitization of Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP NU Sunan Giri Kepanjen. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through documentation, in-depth interviews, and observation. The research found that digitization in Islamic Religious Education learning can enhance students' motivation to learn. The digital tools used include educational videos and presentations using digital devices.

Abstract

Teaching Practice Program (PPL) contributes to the development of professional teachers by educating and training the students in practice at schools. Though, some students still lack confidence and are perplexed when they teach in a real classroom setting. This study aims to find out the student teachers at Tadris Bahasa Inggris (TBI), FTK UIN Mataram Digital Literacy level, their Teaching Creativity, and the correlation between the two variables during the Teaching Practice Program. This research is a quantitative approach that used a descriptive correlational design with two variables namely Digital Literacy Level (X) and Teaching Creativity Index (Y). The population of this research is 122 student teachers of the sixth semester enrolled in the Teaching Practice (PPL) course program with 82 students as sample. The researchers use two-part questionnaires namely Digital Literacy scale suggested by Amin et al. (2021) with 27 items and Dikici & Soh's (2015) Creativity Fostering Teacher Behaviour Index (CFTIndex) with 28 items. The research found that (1) The student teachers’ Digital Literacy is 0.722 or 72.2 % or high Category; (2) The student teachers’ Creativity Teaching is 0.7203 or 72.03 % or high Category; and (3) There is a significant correlation between the Digital Literacy and Teaching Creativity at TBI, FTK, UIN Mataram. It is indicated that rtable > rcount (0.522 > 0.213) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. As it is compared to the coefficient of the interval from 0.40-0.599, the correlation has a level medium relationship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode "Spinning Wheel" dalam meningkatkan kecakapan kosakata siswa kelas IV di Ma'had Al-Mujtama' Al-Islami, Sadao, Songkhla, Thailand. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis untuk menilai pengaruh penggunaan media "Spinning Wheel" terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media "Spinning Wheel" terbukti sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kecakapan kosakata siswa, dengan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman dan penggunaan kosakata dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ini merupakan metode yang efisien dan menarik untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam penguasaan kosakata.

Abstract

This study is entitled “Application of Make A Match cooperative learning Model to improve Arabic vocabulary mastery of students in class VA MIN 5 Jembrana academic year 2023/2024". This study departs from the lack of models used by teachers, because teachers only as a transmitter of information through a monotonous learning model while students only as listeners without being able to think. Low student learning activities have an impact on the mastery of students who are less than optimal. The formulation of the problem in this study is (1) How the application of the Make A Match model in improving the Arabic vocabulary of students in Class 5A MIN 5 Jembrana Kecamatan Negara Kabupaten Jembrana academic year 2023/2024 (2) whether the use of the Make a Match model can improve students ' Arabic vocabulary. This study aims (1) to determine the activities of teachers and students in the application of Make A Match model (2) to determine the mastery of students in the application of Make a Match model. This study is a class action research conducted in two cycles with test instruments, observation and documentation. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class VA MIN 5 Jembrana academic year 2023/2024 which amounted to 30 students. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Make A Match learning model can improve students ' mastery of Arabic vocabulary for the 2023/2024 school year. Students ' mastery of Arabic vocabulary based on test scores increased by 13.3% from pre-cycle 43.3% (13 students) to 56.6% (17 students) in cycle I, then increased by 33.4% from cycle I 56, 6% (17 students) to 90.0% (27 students) in Cycle II. The conclusion of this study is the use of Make A Match learning model can improve the mastery of Arabic vocabulary VA class students MIN 5 Jembrana.

Abstract

This paper seeks to explain how students enrolled in the Arabic Language Study Programme at the State Islamic University of Mataram acquire Arabic speech rhythm. The research method utilised was a quantitative descriptive method termed as a survey study which covered 91 respondents comprising of 45% males and 55% females and consisting of the 2020 (40%), 2021 (35%) and 2022 (25%). The findings indicated that around 15% of the respondents are found to be very excellent in the mastery of Arabic rhythms, 40% moderate, 30% poor mastery while 15% did not master Arabic rhythms at all. Other than the place of residence, the factors that contribute to the mastery of speech rhythm are educational background, training frequency and exposure to Arabic-language media where the respondents cited all three as contributing factors totalling 100%, with how many percent each contributing further indicating language barriers such as 40%, 35%, and 25% respectively. Bilingualism is crucial for pronunciation; however, students pointed out their inability to acquire accurate bilingualism as one of the reasons for the students’ deficient Arabic pronunciation, which also involves difficulties in controlling the tempo of pronunciation (50%), the syllables during pronunciation (30%), and acquiring an Arabic vocabulary (20%). Students wish for special training (45%), using audio/video learning media (30%), and receiving individual supervision (25%) in order to better their control of the speech rhythm. The study states that even though a reasonable number of students have acquired sufficient control of rhythm, a great number still have problems with controlling the appropriate timing and pressure when speaking. This calls for more natural and rhythmic Arabic speaking through more practical exercises and accompanying media.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam adalah bimbingan yang diberikan oleh seseorang kepada seseorang agar ia berkembang secara maksimal sesuai dengan ajaran Islam, dengan tujuan agar menjadi muslim yang kamil (sempurna) yaitu muslim yang takwa, atau beriman, dan beribadah kepada Allah. SWT. Muslim yang kamil adalah manusia yang memiliki: (1) akalnya cerdas serta pandai; (2) jasmaninya kuat; (3) hatinya takwa kepada Allah; (4) berketerampilan; (4) mampu menyelesaikan masalah secara ilmiah dan filosofis; (5) memiliki dan mengembangkan sains; (6) memiliki dan mengembangkan filsafat; (7) hati yang berkemampuan berhubungan dengan alam gaib. Berdasarkan konsep Ahmad Tafsir di atas mengandung arti bahwa konsep Insan Kamil  sangat relevan dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam yaitu sama-sama ingin membentuk manusia atau peserta didik yang cerdas, beriman dan bertaqwa. Menurut Ahmad Tafsir, Insan Kamil haruslah: jasmaninya sehat serta kuat, berketerampilan; akalnya cerdas serta pandai; hatinya penuh iman kepada Allah. SWT.1 Pada sisi yang lain, adalah Budaya dan Tradisi juga tidak lahir dalam ruang yang kosong, melainkan syarat akan nilai dan pesan-pesan yang baik, dan seringkali nilai yang ada dalam tradisi adalah nilai-nilai yang mengandung aspek pendidikan, salah satu dari sekian banyak tradisi itu adalah Lelakak (Pantun Sasak) di suku Sasak Lombok, dengan penjelasan pada Bab-bab terdahulu. Dan Pendektan yang bisa dilakukan untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai luhur tersebut adalah pendekatan teoritik .

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh problematika siswa dalam keterampilan berbicara bahasa arab, baik dari segi kosakata, tata bahasa, kelancaran dan intonasi. Karena permasalahan tersebut peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti maharoh kalam siswa dengan menghadirkan youtube channel Arab Podcast sebagai media pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual youtube channel Arab Podcast untuk meningkatkan maharoh kalam siswa kelas X MA Darul Aman tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desan penelitian quasi eksperimen. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MA Darul Aman yang berjumlah 53 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner/angket, tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t-test dengan bantuan JASP. Dari hasil analisis uji t dapat dilihat nilai p value untuk data pre test maharoh kalam kelas eksperimen vs kelas control tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan yaitu p=0.853>0.050, sedangkan p value data post test kelas eksperimen vs kelas control yaitu p<0.001, ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan setelah diberi perlakuan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media audio visual youtube channel arab podcast memiliki pengaruh terhadap peningkatan maharoh kalam siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of synonym meaning relations in the Sasak language of Sakra Village, Sakra District, East Lombok, Meno-MenE dialect. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data for this study are words, expressions or utterances in the form of synonyms from the Sakra Pusat Village Community, Sakra District, East Lombok. The data source was obtained from members of the Sakra Pusat Village community, Sakra District, East Lombok who live in the village. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with the selection of informants according to the specified criteria. The techniques for obtaining data are observation techniques, interviews, fishing techniques, recording techniques and note-taking techniques. As for the data validation test, the researcher chose the data source triangulation technique. In data analysis, the researcher read the transcription, re-checked the grouping or categorization of data contained in the word list that had been prepared by the researcher, described the data, and concluded about the synonym and antonym meaning relations. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that in the Sasak language of the Meno-MenE dialect of Sakra Pusat Village, Sakra District, there are synonyms, namely: 1) synonyms with the same meaning, 2) synonyms with almost the same meaning. In the data, synonyms with the same meaning are divided into several word classes, namely: in the verb, noun, adjective, numeral, prepositional phrase, pronominal, negation classes.

Abstract

This study examines the Pertuq Tradition in the perspective of Lombok culture. This study includes activities to identify the meaning contained in the pertuq tradition seen from the perspective of Sasak Lombok culture. This study attempts to uncover the history of the Pertuq tradition on Lombok Island. Then, how the development of the Paretuq tradition on Lombok Island and why the Pertuq tradition is still carried out by the Sasak community of Lombok Island. The results of this study are that: As one of the local wisdoms of the Sasak community, the pertuk tradition actually has Islamic values ??so that it cannot be immediately contradicted with Islamic law itself. This tradition contains an inner dimension, namely related to the supernatural and has relevance to Sufism. This tradition is also considered a form of application of Sufism in everyday life so that it is believed to be able to cure diseases or disorders that are supernatural. From another dimension, the term tawasul is also known. Tawasul is a means of connecting with the outside, especially related to the relationship to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. In the context of healing, it is actually a form of prayer to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala by remembering the spirits or ancestors. In Islamic belief, the spirits or souls of the ancestors are actually still alive and can still communicate within supernatural limits. That is why it has a supernatural dimension and everything returns to the Almighty. In-laws are only a medium of tawasul by involving the spirits of the ancestors by remembering Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background of the Research: The cultural diversity in Indonesia is one of the treasures that needs to be understood and appreciated by the younger generation. In this context, literature and language play an important role as tools to educate the youth in understanding and appreciating cultural differences. Purpose: This research aims to explore the role of literature and language as a means to educate the younger generation in understanding cultural diversity in Indonesia. Methodologies: This study employs a qualitative approach with subjects consisting of students and teachers from several schools. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and direct classroom observations. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis. Principal Results: The findings indicate that the teaching of literature and language significantly enhances students' understanding of cultural diversity, as well as develops character, empathy, and tolerance among the youth. The use of local literary works and regional languages has proven to strengthen students' cultural identity. Major Conclusions: The study concludes that literature and language are effective tools in building cultural awareness and reinforcing national identity amidst existing diversity .Contributions to the Field: This research provides significant contributions to the development of educational curricula in Indonesia and serves as a reference for educators and policymakers in formulating better teaching strategies.
