Abstract

Abstract: Tamansiswa is a cultural institution in the field of education. Founded by Suwardi Suryaningrat on 3 July 1922 and later known as Ki Hajar Dewantara, a multi talent person. In its curriculum, Tamansiswa gave balance between intelectual education, character and physical education. Character education was given to students of Tamansiswa because it has great benefits, especially for girls as their behavior guidance.

Abstract

Abstract. Teaching of history has been conducted by bad images for along time. The images of history teaching are as recalling, not interesting, unpleasant, and boring lesson. Based on reasoning of urgent role of history lesson as nation character building for students, there is need to change this condition. Mind set of teacher as responsible actor has to be changed from pragmatic to idealist paradigm. History teaching process has to be shifted form the orientation of curriculum material finishing to the real goal attainment, that is the arising of historical consciousness for students.

Abstract

Abstract. Dreadfulness of Lapindo mud is one of phemonenal tragedies in Indonesia. Most horrifying talked about the victim, they are suffering and being deeply hurts. Extremely, Lapindo mud was not much horrendous as tsunami tragedy, but these phenomenon takes the long times to cure all the pain. With phenomenology, victim identity will segmented by many factors. There are about natural, structural and cultural segmented. Composing conspiration between actor and strategy hold this phenomenon getting worst.

Abstract

Abstract. There are two phenomena as focus of this research: (1) economic role of household wives as women labor at abroad, (2) the risks of its economic role for the left nuclear families. This research analyze relation of those phenomena for its psychological and social effects of the left nuclear families.This research uses qualitative approach and the kind of research is a case study. The research site is Besuki, one sub district of South Tulungagung region.This site is known as poor region and more one decade as a region that has many women labor at abroad. Results of this research are (1) the push factors in taking economic role as women labor are the limited income of previous occupation; influences of the economic success stories of women labor, wage of women labor higher than civil servant, and the result as women labor can be used for capital of many economic business; (2) The basic reason used to select women labor as their profession is based on calculation that more opportunity that can be reached than its risks, women labor prepare their preventive steps by following right and legal departure; (3) The economic effect is economic increasing at family and village level, the psychological effects are positive and negative impacts, and social effects are family conflicts, increasing number of divorce, and reducing amount of active women at village.

Abstract

Abstrak. teori struktural fungsional dan teori struktural konflik adalah dua diantara berbagai teori sosiologi yang ada. Dua teori tersebut dipandang masih relevan dalam melihat suatu realitas sosial dan peristiwa historis. Namun demikian, tidak ada ilmu yang abadi setelah diketemukan bukti-bukti terbaru. Inilah yang dikenal dengan istilah “anomali” Kuhn, bahkan Popper mengajukan “falsifikasi” untuk mengatasi kemacetan epistemologis. Begitu juga dengan kedua aliran tersebut, bahwa selalu ada kritik dalam rangka penyempurnaan, bahkan menolak teori yang ada sebelumnya karena dianggap tidak sesuai dengan perkembangan keilmuan atau dianggap kurang kritis dalam melihat masalah-masalah sosial. Tulisan ini mencoba melakukan anatomi teori pada teori struktural fungsional Talcott Parson dengan Robert King Merton, dan struktural konflik Karl Marx dengan Ralf Dahrendorf.Kata-kata kunci: anatomi teori, teori struktural fungsional, teori struktural konflikAbstract. Theories of structural functionalism and structural conflict are two of the existed sociological theories. Both theories are seemed to be relevant to look at a social reality and the historical event. However, there is no immortal science after the newest fact is found. This is well known as Kuhn’s anomaly. Even, Popper argues the term of falsification to cope the epistemological gap. Both two school of thoughts gain some criticisms in completing or in refusing the previous theory. This is caused by the previous theories which are not fit with the development of science or which are claimed uncritically to look at the social problems. This article tries to organize both theories of structural functionalism between Talcott Parson and Robert King Merton; and of structural conflict between Karl Marx and Ralf Dahrendorf.Keywords: anatomy of theory, theory of structural functionalism, theory of structural conflict

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan artikel ini untuk mendeskripsikan upaya dalam membangun kolegialitas calon guru IPS melalui Lesson Study. LS dapat membantu calon guru IPS dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran melalui kolegialitas. Hal ini sangat dimungkinkan mengingat dalam setiap tahapan LS mulai dari plan, do, sampai see selalu dilakukan secara kolaboratif antara peserta KPL (kajian & praktek Lapangan) dan dosen pendamping lapangan sehingga terjadi komunikasi intensif. Perencanaan yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif dapat menjadi modal utama untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Selain itu dengan penerapan LS ini terjalin mutual learning, dimana peserta LS memiliki niat yang sama untuk menciptakan komunitas belajar. Kata-kata Kunci: Kolegialitas, Calon Guru IPS, Lesson Study.Abstract: this study tends to describe the effort in shaping collegiality between the prospective social studies teacher based on lesson study (LS). LS could help the prospective teacher to gain the learning outcomes through collegiality. This might be happened when the apprenticed student and the supervisor designs the plan, the do, and the see collaboratively. Therefore, the condition creates an intensive communication. The collaborative plan could be a main basis to create the effective teaching. Abstrak. Pengembangan bahan ajar alternatif berbasis biografi perlu dikembangkan karena dua alasan. Pertama pijakan filosofis keilmuan dan yang kedua teknik pendidikan. Kedua hal ini bermuara pada kebosanan siswa yang disebabkan karena pengulangan materi pelajaran. Mereka memiliki pengetahuan melebihi apa yang ada dalam buku teks. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan tidak serta merta memindahkan historiografi atau ringkasan historiografi dalam bahan ajar. Akan tetapi, para pengembang perlu melakukan refleksi sebelum menuangkan materi dalam bahan ajar. Hal ini dilakukan agar mendorong siswa dapat berpikir secara kritis. Tantangan yang dihadapi seperti proses pengembangan yang membutuhkan waktu lama dan tampilan bahan ajar perlu dijadikan pertimbangan utama.Kata-kata kunci: bahan ajar, biografi, sejarah, ISSI, AGSIAbstract: The development of alternative teaching material based in biography needs to be devel-oped because of two reasons. The first deals with the philosophical framework and the later refers to pedagogical technique. Both reasons affect to the boredom of students caused by the repetition of the subject. They have the knowledge more than what is written in the textual book. The developed teaching material does not means to move the substance of historiography or the summary of histo-riography in teaching material. This would lead students to think critically. Abstrak. Keterbukaan akses atas sumber sejarah primer terutama arsip digital memudahkan para sejarawan termasuk pendidik sejarah. Hal ini akan membuat sejarah menjadi hal yang tidak monokausal, revitalisasi sumber-sumber primer, dan otonomi buku teks sejarah. Sejarawan, pen-didik sejarah, dan pegiat sejarah dapat berkolaborasi untuk mengaji sumber terkait termasuk membaca karya sastra. Arsip Nasional Republik Indone-sia (ANRI) sebagai lembaga penyimpanan sumber-sumber primer meng-gagas lima hal terkait kegiatan belajar mengajar sejarah berbasiskan sum-ber-sumber primer (dokumen, cetak biru, foto, peta, dan film dokumenter). Kelas digital, LKTI kearsipan, diorama sejarah, masyarakat sadar arsip, dan lomba apresiasi dan kreativitas.Kata-kata kunci: sumber sejarah, sadar arsip, pembelajaran sejarahAbstract. The open access of historical primary sources mainly digital ar-chives has eased the historian and the history teacher. This would make history becoming duality and interesting reality, re-vitalization of primary sources, and the autonomy of historical textbook. Historian, history teacher, and history practitioner could collaborate to discuss the related sources especially reading the literary works. The National Archive of In-donesian Republic (ANRI) as an archival institution creates the five activ-ities related to the teaching of history based on primary sources. Those activities are digital class, scientific written competition on archives, his-torical diorama, and society based on archival awareness, and apprecia-tion and creativity competition.Keywords: historical sources, archival awareness, teaching of history

Abstract

Abstrak. Para Sunan telah kehilangan kekuasaan sosial politik maupun ekonomi,namun mereka dapat menggunakan kekuasaannya. Hal ini diwujudkan dalampermainan simbol-simbol politik, yang lazim disebut politik simbol. Hampir semuaelit aristokrat Jawa memainkan politik simbolis, terutama setelah raja-raja diVorstenlanden kehilangan wilayah konsentris mereka. Begitu pula kondisi yangdihadapi oleh Pakubuwana X. Otoritas yang dia miliki justru diolah dan dialihkanmenjadi kekuatan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Pemberdayaan itu ditafsirkan sebagaisimbol publik. Dalam politik simbolis terdapat dua unsur yang saling terkait, yaknisimbol personal dan simbol publik. Kedua simbol itu memungkinkan masyarakat luasuntuk mengakses informasi melalui perspektif politik maupun ekonomi. Kesempatanitu akan menumbuhkan kesadaran kritis.Kata-kata kunci: politik, simbol, Kasunanan, Pakubuwana XAbstract. The Sunans had lost their political-social and their economical-socialpower, however they could still use their power. This is represented by producing thepolitical-symbol, well-known as the symbolic politics. All Javanese aristocratic elitesplayed the symbolic politic, mainly after the kings of Vorstenlanden losed theirconsentric areas. In addition, Pakubuwana X had the same condition. He changedand transformed his authority into the power of people’s empowerment. Theempowerment could interpreted as public symbol. The symbolic politic divided intopersonal and public symbol.
