Abstract

The increasing number of motorcycle vehicles, causing traffic congestion at the signal intersection in Bandar Lampung City. As an effort in reducing congestion, the government of Bandar Lampung city made Special Stopping Space (RHK) for motorcycles. The RHK is a space dedicated to arrange motorcycle queue place when stop at the signalized intersection during traffic light period. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of RHK at the signalized intersection, and it’s impact on saturation current increase and approach capacity compared to approach without RHK. The effectiveness and impact of RHK, was conducted by surveying traffic flow in the morning during peak hours using camera video in each selected approaches. The survey data obtained were analyzed using MKJI and compared with previous research. RHK increases saturation flow 7,3% - 17,5% and approach capacity 37,67% - 52,09%. In conclusion RHK is effective to be provided in signal intersection. Value of RHK filling level at Jl. P. Diponegoro - Jl. P. Diponegoro and Jl. Jend. Sudirman - Jl. Gajah Mada - Jl. Jend. Sudirman is less than 50% that indicates bad while at Jl. Jend. Sudirman - Jl. Jend. Sudirman and Jl. Dr. Susilo - Jl. P. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of earthquake load on the structure of a third floor school building in West Lampung. The effects of earthquake is reviewed on the dimensions, reinforcement, and deflection of structures by comparing building without earthquake load. The earthquake load calculation using Static Equivalent Method is helped by SAP 2000 program. This program can also produce internal force of the moment, latitude, and normal (M, D, N). The calculation of the slab is calculated by direct design method (DDM). The results of this analysis showed that the calculation of all reinforcement requirements on slab, beams, columns, bore pile foundations, sloof and pile caps in the building with earthquake load 283,3267% is more than compared to the building without earthquake load seen from the number of as on each structure. Dimension design on the structure without earthquake load result that dimension of beams are 250 x 450 mm, coloumns are 350 x 350 mm, diameter of bore piles are 70 cm, sloofs are 250 x 450 mm and pile caps are 1600 mm while the dimensions of the structure with the earthquake load resulted in larger dimensions with dimension of columns are 600 x 600 mm, diameter of bore pile foundations are 80 cm, and pile caps are 1800 mm. Keywords: earthquake load, static ekuivalen, direct design method, and SAP2000.

Abstract

Many structural systems are available to build a bridge. One of them is prestressed concrete bridge. The purpose of this research is to review the design of prestressed concrete bridge using SAP 2000 ver. 14 software. This research use elastic method on prestressed concrete, and ultimate method on the design of the other structures on the bridge. Whereas finite element analysis (FEA) with SAP 2000 ver.14 is used on traffic load analysis . From the analysis results, the longitudinal girder requires bending reinforcement of 12 D13, skin reinforcement of 6 ∅13, and 18 strand with dia. of 0.5" in each tendon. There is a difference with existing design which use bending reinforcement under the minimum requirement, whereas the strand used, meets the recent code.Slab requires bending reinforcement of ∅16-200, shrinking reinforcement and temperature of ∅13-250, however the existing design used denser reinforcement, this difference is due to changes in the bending reduction factor which follows the recent code of 2013 .Diaphragms requires bending reinforcement of 2 D28, skin reinforcement of 5 ∅13, and shear reinforcement of ∅13-500. this difference is due to changes in the reduction as well. Whereas in the shear reinforcement used by the existing design has met the recent code.Barrier wall requires bending reinforcement of ∅19-150 for the thickening area below the wall, ∅13-150 for the above area, and shear reinforcement of 10 ∅13, thus the reinforcement used by the existing design has met the recent code. The conclusion that can be taken is that the reinforcement used for the main structure component is correct, but some bending reinforcement are used under the need of ρmin and concrete standard of 2013. Keyword : bridge, prestressed concrete, SAP 2000 ver. 14

Abstract

The occurrence of floods at Raden Gunawan 2 street, Rajabasa district, Bandar Lampung was caused by the inability of existing drainage channels to accommodate direct run-off discharge and blockage of drainage channels by garbage.Hydrological analysis was performed by using the maximum rainfall data within the last 10 years, then, parameter calculation were performed to calculate the discharge plan using rational method. The wide-scale of watershed is 0.77308 km2 and the drainage coefficient is 0.5132. The hydraulic analysis was conducted to calculate the drainage channel discharge capacity using continuity formula and Manning formula, after that, suitable systems and dimensions were planned.Based on the results of the research, the suitable rain distribution is Log Pearson III Distribution which obtained rainfall value of plan for the 5-year rework time of 109,016 mm and the amount of the biggest discharge at joint segment between primary channel and Kemiling area is 2,8336 m3 / sec. Then, flood heights were found in the research area as high as 10-30 cm, because the existing dimensions were not able to accommodate the discharge plan. Thus, suitable channel dimensions are planned using U-Ditch shaped sections with U100 / 100, U150 / 150, U150 / 250 and U250 / 250 sizes. So, the discharge plan (Qr) is smaller than the discharge channel (Qs). Keywords: drainage, hydrology, hydraulics, distribution.

Abstract

Water problems consist of three types: flood, drought, and water pollution. Floods are recognized as a significant source of threat to human life. One of the flood prevention actions that can be done is to optimize the drainage channels. Drainage can be defined as a technical action to reduce excess water so that the function of the area or land is not disturbed. University of Lampung is one of the locations prone to flooding. Therefore, a research to overcome the flood that occurred at the University of Lampung has been conducted (Case Study: Zone III Rectorate Area - Faculty of Agriculture). The purposes of this research are to analyze the drainage system of University of Lampung and to design drainage system that fulfill flood discharge plan. The research was conducted by survey in the field. The analysis conducted in this study include hydrological analysis and hydraulics analysis using HEC-RAS4.1.0 application. Calculation of discharge plan using rational method.. Based on the analysis results, there are no channels that are not sufficient for flood discharge, but there are some channels that are disconnected and cause the water to not flow. The disconnected channels are located on the channel with the DN5 and DN62 codes. For that, it is recommended to create a channel connecting DN62 channel with DN63, and make a channel on channel DN5 to DN65. The budget required for the repair of this channel is Rp 207,203,725.00 (Two Hundred Seven Million Two Hundred and Three Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Five Rupiah). Keywords: Drainage, HEC-RAS, hydrology, hydraulics, floods
