Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve communicating skills through GuidedInquiry model in Grade V students of Elementary School Year 2016/2017.This research wasconducted in three cycles. Each cycle consist of four phase namely: planning, implementation,observation, and reflection. The subjectof the research were the teacher and 34 students at thefifth grade of Elementary School Year 2016/2017. Data collection techniques used are theresults of observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data used is thecontent validity. Data analysis used is interactive analysis model which has three componentthat is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result of the research shows thatthe application of the Guided Inquiry model can improve the communicating skill of grade Vstudents of Elementary School Year 2016/2017. On the pre-condition before the classroomaction research was conducted, verbal communication skillsthe students’ minimal learningcompleteness was 5,88%. Following the treatments with the Guided Inquirymodel, it became17,65% in Cycle I, 41,18% in Cycle 2, and 82,35% in Cycle III.Similarly, students'communication skills in writing on the pre-condition percentage of grade attainment of8,82%.Following the treatments with the Guided Inquirymodel, it became 32,35% in Cycle I, 58,82%in Cycle 2, and 82,35% in Cycle III.Therefore, it can be concluded that the Guided Inquirymodel could improvecommunicating skill of the students at the fifth grade of ElementarySchool Year 2016/2017.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) Student learning motivation  in learning Penjasas with teams games tournament in third grade students of Nganjat Polanharjo Public Elementary School in Klaten Regency 2018/2019; (2) Ability to practice student running in learning Penjasas with team games tournament models for third grade students of Nganjat Polanharjo Elementary School in Klaten Regency 2018/2019. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with research procedures: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques use: observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study concluded: (1) Team competition game model (TGT) in health facilities can improve student learning motivation during the learning process takes place. Students feel happy, the classroom atmosphere is conducive to learning. Encourage students to learn to cooperate constructively, cooperate with each other, and avoid selfishness that tends to stand out; (2) Team competition game model (TGT) in health facilities can improve students' ability to practice running. Students try to use their abilities to win the race. Learning resources are not focused solely on the teacher, but are obtained from interactions between existing students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran lari jarak pendek di SD Negeri 2 Mlese Gantiwarno Klaten yang monoton membuat siswa-siswi merasa bosan sehingga proses dan pencapaian hasil pembelajaran kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar lari jarak pendek pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Mlese Gantiwarno Klaten Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 melalui metode bermain. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Mlese Kecamatan Gantiwarno Kabupaten Klaten yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan lembar observasi untuk mengetahui minat siswa , angket motivasi, dan lembar unjuk kerja siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa skor rata-rata kelas dari aspek minat adalah 76,35 sehingga rata-rata minat siswa sudah melebihi 70, dengan demikian minat siswa mengalami peningkatan. Aspek unjuk kerja siswa menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 72,95, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan minimal yaitu 70, sehingga target 70% siswa tuntas sudah terpenuhi. Berdasarkan angket motivasi menunjukkan bahwa 64,1% anak memiliki motivasi yang baik. Siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Mlese pada setiap siklus mengalami peningkatan dan dengan pemberian metode bermain siswa siswi merasa senang atau merasa tertarik untuk mengikuti pembelajaran lari jarak pendek. Sehingga pembelajaran melalui metode pendekatan bermain pada materi lari jarak pendek pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Mlese telah berhasil meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research used to improve the problem solving skills in story question by applying the Means Ends Analysis learning model for students. This research uses a qualitative approach by Classroom Action Research (CAR). This classroom action research was conducted using two cycles. The subject of this research is student from fourth grade of SD Negeri Bumi I Surakarta in 2019/2020 academic year, which have 15 student. The techniques of collecting data are observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results of the problem solving skills test in each action have increased, in the first condition showed an achievement of 7% or as many as 1 student. In the first cycles in first meeting showed an achievement as much as 20% or 3 students and the second meeting as much as 40% or 6 students. In second cycles in first meeting showed an achievement as much as 67% or 10 students and in second meeting as much as 87% or 13 students. Based on this research, the researcher can conclude that by applying the Means Ends Analysis learning model can improve the problem solving skills in fourth grade of SD Negeri Bumi I Surakarta in 2019/2020 academic year.

Abstract

Abstract. The  of this study was to improve teacher competence in SD Negeri Kalinanas in using ICT learning media. The study was conducted in SD Negeri 1Kalinanas for ± 5 months starting Friday, July 22, 2016 until Saturday, November 19,2016. The subjects of this study were 9 teachers. Data collection is done throughinterviews, observation and documentation. From the interviews, the results show that it is important to use ICT learning media very well. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. In the pre cycle, the average score was 78 with a percentage of 53% achievement of all teachers in the research indicators for the use of ICT learning media, in the first cycle 88 average values were obtained with 69% achievement of all teachers in the research indicators of ICT learning media use, and in cycle II obtained an average value of 97 with a percentage of 88% achievement of all teachers in the research indicators of the use of ICT learning media. There has been an increase in teacher competency in the use of ICT learning media after being supervised with individual techniques by the principal of SD Negeri 1 Kalinanas.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is improving reading comprehension skills problems by applying SQ3R model. This research has two cycles in Classroom Action Research. The students of the 4th students at SDN Pajang IV Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year are the subjects, totalling 26 students. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews, observation, test, and documentation. Data analysis in kuantitative used content validity and triangulation. Qualitative analysis data using the Miles-Huberman interactive model. Research result in the first cycle in a percentage of 53.84% in classical, and the research continued with the second cycle and the result are in percentage are 88.46% in classical. Based on the result of the research, it can be conclude that reading comprehension skill on 4th students of SDN Pajang IV Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year can be improved through the SQ3R model.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to improve the concluding skills in natural science learning using Edutainment methods based on Guided Discovery Learning (GDL). The type of research is classroom action research. The subject of the research were the 3rd grade student of SD N Kerten II No. 243 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year, totalling 12 student. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, concluding skills test, and documentation. Data validity techniques using content validity and triangulation. Data analysis techniques using the interactive analysis model of Miles-Huberman. The result showed the percentage of the first indicator of the pre-cycle stage was 0,00%, increased in the first cycle to be 45,45%, and increased in the second cycle to be 91,67%. The percentage on the second indicator shows the pre-cycle stage was 0,00%, increased in the first cycle to be 27,27%, and increased in the second cycle to be 100%. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of edutainment method based on guided discovery learning can improve the concluding skills of natural science learning in 3rd grade students of SD N Kerten II No. 243 Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve the ability of understanding of the concept arithmetic operation on various forms of fractions of the students in Grade VI of State Primary School Karangasem IV No. 204 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2017/2018. It used the classroom action research with two cycles. The activities in each cycle were planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research were the classroom teacher and the students as many as 33. Its data were collected through observation, indepth interview, test, and documentation. They were validated by using data source and data collection technique triangulations and analyzed by using the interactive model of analysis comprising four stages namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed the average class score was of 61.42 with the classical learning completeness of 39.39%. Following the treatments, it became 79.17 with the classical learning completeness of 75.76% in Cycle I and 86.42 with the classical learning completeness of 90.91% in Cycle II. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model of pair checks type could improve the ability of understanding of the concept arithmetic operation on various forms of fractions of the students in Grade VI of State Primary School Karangasem IV No. 204 of Surakarta academic year 2017/2018.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is increasing the Citizen Education learningoutcome about globalizationof the students of Class IV the Elementary School ofTurusgede on the second Semester of the 2017/2018 year academic with Make aMatch Method. The type of this research ia a Class Room Research (CAR). The actionof this research is learning with Make a Match Method. This research is in theElementary School of Turusgede, Sub district of Rembang, Regency ofRembang. Thisresearch is going on middle of the second Semester of the 2017/2018 year academic.The subjects of this research are the students of Class IV the Elementary School ofTurusgede on the second Semester of the 2017/2018 year academicas much asseventeen children; consist of nine boys and eight girls. Techniques of collecting dataof this research are non test technique and test technique. Technique of analyzing dataof this research is comparative description.The procedure of this research is the Cyclesmodel, which going on two cycles; first cycle and second cycle. The results of thisresearch are1) learningswith Make a Match Methodare matching question card withsome answering card, 2) learnings with Make a Match Method are using text andpicture answering cards, 3) learnings with Make a Match Method are going on oneperiod and continuing with correction and discussion also on two periods withcorrection and discussion on the second period, 4) learnings with Make a MatchMethod are increasing the students’learning activities that include as intermediate (C),5) learnings with Make a Match Method areincreasing the students’learning outcomesthat include as good. The learning outcomes on the Early Condition are 63,53 for theaverage and 41,17% for the completeness. The learning outcomes on the First Cycleare 72,35 for the average and 82,35% for the completeness. The learning outcomes onthe Second Cycle are 84,11 for the average and 88,35% for the completeness.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas I semester 1 pada materi Tubuh Sehat di SD Negeri Ngiyono melalui metode pembelajaran Jigsaw tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang terdiri dari 2 pertemuan dengan 4 tahapan setiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas I yang berjumlah 18 peserta didik. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas I . Hal ini ditunjukkan dari pra siklus rata-rata nilai aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik adalah 70,55 oleh 7 peserta didik. Pada siklus I rata-rata nilai aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik adalah 78,80 oleh 11 peserta didik sedangkan pada siklus II rata-rata nilai hasil aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik adalah 86,67 oleh 16 peserta didik dari 18 peserta didik. Aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Tubuh Sehat di kelas I semester 1 meningkat dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran Jigsaw dan telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan yaitu sebesar 75%.
