Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment on turnover intention, by employing the mediating role of job satisfaction and work engagement. A poor work environment is more likely to increase turnover intention, and our study aims to mitigate this effect by using the effects of job satisfaction and work engagement. The study was conducted on hotel employees in Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia. The analytical technique used is the partial least squares method to test the significance of the relationship between research constructs. The results showed that supportive work environment has positive effects on job satisfaction and on employee work engagement. In relation with the effect of job satisfaction, the findings demonstrated its positive and significant influence on employee work engagement. Regarding the turnover intentions, the results found a negative and significant effect of work engagement on employee turnover intention. Mediation analysis reveals the important role of job satisfaction in mediating the relationship between work environment and turnover intention. The conclusion of these findings underscores the role of supportive work environment, increased employee engagement and satisfaction as important antecedents in minimizing turnover intention in the hotel industry. The practical implication for hotel managers is to ensure the active and participatory engagement of employees while remaining focused on creating a supportive and satisfying work environment. The Covid-19 pandemic caused a decrease in the number of tourist visits and state revenue in the Indonesian tourism sector was 20.7 billion. The tourism sector's contribution to Indonesia's GDP in 2021 was only 4.2% and before the pandemic was 4.7%. Virtual Reality (VR) is an option for traveling during a pandemic. The sample of this study was 115 respondents who had visited Malang Night Paradise and were interested in using VR in Adventure Land. Data were analysed by using descriptive analysis, Contingent Valuation Method (CVM): bidding games & open-ended method, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the characteristics of tourists were dominated by young people. The maximum price that respondents are willing to pay is IDR 26,772/ticket and the optimal price is IDR 19,295/ticket. This price is lower than the current ticket price, which is IDR 20,000. The factors that have a positive/negative and significant effect on the value of WTP are education, monthly income/pocket money, gender, and marital status. Therefore, companies can focus on increasing product and marketing innovation. Keywords: contingent valuation method, preference, regression, virtual reality, willingness to pay

The 101 samples of lecturers were taken from 5 universities in the Jakarta and Java area. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) of Smart PLS was used in this analysis. The results indicated whether Collaborative Culture and Academic Culture affect Innovative Behavior. From the results of this analysis, it is essential to develop and improve future methods of combining collaborative and academic culture to create a Collaborative Academic Culture. This method would in turn improve innovation in the university, as the country had set a goal to increase the collaboration between higher education stakeholders in society. Abstract

The impact of investor behavior and decision-making on investment interest in the Indonesian capital market is ultimately tied to the stock selection model used to form an optimal portfolio. Therefore, this study aims to develop an optimal stock selection model in the Indonesian capital market. And thus, the novelty of this study relates to other studies that demonstrate how to improve investment decisions in the capital market in Indonesia. Whereas previous research focused solely on the associations between variables, this study examines the variables themselves. This investigation was carried out in the Greater Jakarta of Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi). This research utilizes the Fuzzy-Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) methodology. FAHP is the combination of AHP and a fuzzy concept approach. The FAHP method uses qualitative and quantitative data to make decisions. The data collection method employs primary data from the Survey Questionnaire and discussions, secondary data consisting of market data, stock price movement data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Indonesian Central Securities Depository, Bank Indonesia, and empirical literature about stock selection models. The results of the analysis indicate that forming the optimal portfolio in the Indonesian capital market involves predicting the price or stock return using a single factor that is thought to impact security. The primary objective assumed to be realized by the optimal portfolio formation approach on the Indonesian capital market is the optimization of stock combinations.
