Abstract

إن المشكلات المواجهة فى تدريس اللغة العربية هى كون المدرس ضعيف الكفاءة، فلم تنفذ عملية تدريس اللغة العربية تنفيذا جيدا. يهدف هذا البحث للحصول على البرنامج الذى يقدر على ترقية الكفاءة التربوية لمدرسى اللغة العربية فى المدارس الإبتدائية بمنطقة تاسكمالايا.  والطريقة المستخدمة هي الطريقة التجريبية. وأساليب جمع البيانات هي الملاحظة والمقابلة والاستبيانات والاختبار. دل حاصل البحث على أن لبرنامج التدريب التكاملى مزايا وهى: أ) يبنى هذا البرنامج على تحليل الحاجة، ب) يعقد البرنامج موحدا بين عملية التعلم فى الفصل وعملية الإرشاد قام بها المدرب مباشرة. أما نقائص هذا البرنامج أنه يحتاج فى تصنيفة وتطبيقه إلى أكثر المتأهلين، فإذا لم يشترك بعضه من بعض فيغلب على الظن أن البرنامج غير ناجح، 5) كان برنامج التدريب التكاملى يقدر على ترقية الكفاءة التربوية لمدرسى اللغة العربية فى المدارس الإبتدائية تاسكمالايا.

Abstract

Among the forms of guidance and counseling development there is the emergence of Islamic variety based models of guidance and counseling. One of them is model of al-Fãtihah-Based Guidance and Counseling (FBGC). The model was developed from the belief that science in the study of the Qur'an, especially al-Fãtihah has its own place, both in the study of its name and its content. Because it was developed from sũrat al-Fãtihah, all the elements of the service, starting from the philosophical basis, guidance objective, material, procedures, counselors’ competencies and evaluation as well as indicators of the success of the service all are extracted from the contextualization of sũrat al-Fãtihah. This paper was developed from a study of literatures. After doing the library study, the writer concluded that the FBGC can be used as complementary service in the implementation of guidance and counseling at Islamic school to support the embodiment of the golden generation after one hundred years of Indonesian independence in 2045.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to reveal the results of the efforts and strategies to improve the quality of graduates in achieving competency standards in FTIK (Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan/Faculty of Education and Teacher Training) at The State Islamic University of Malang, Indonesia. The existing challenge today, namely the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in which the human resources with special requirements, is to be able to compete and work at any positions wherever they want.  An Islamic college, particularly the FTIK where the prospective educators are “born”, should be able to produce graduates who have both national and international qualifications. As a result, it demands the necessary management and strategies to achieve SKL (Standar Kompetensi Lulusan/ Graduate Competency Standard). This study uses qualitative approach with field research type. Strategies to guarantee the quality of graduates done through tight assessment, provision of extra programs that can improve the students' academic quality, continuous assessment, and the students’ scientific work must be written in either English or Arabic. Excellence program has a positive impact either on students who want to continue to pursue higher education or students who choose to work. The graduates of excellence programs are proven to have tough mentality as well as high work ethics.

Abstract

This paper presents the form of multicultural conflict at SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas/Senior High School) Kartini Regency of Rokan Hilir Riau, the supporting and inhibiting factors in application of the multicultural curriculum and design of learning model for multicultural-based PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam /Islamic Education) to put down the conflicts among students. The research was a research and development (R&D) with qualitative approach. Research and development were conducted up to hypothetical phase. The research subjects were the teachers of PAI, Chemistry, and PKN (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan/Civic Education). Each of subject teacher was one person, and the number of participating students were 34 people. Data collection technique was conducted by observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Qualitative data processing encompassesed data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. Based on the research results, there were conflicts at SMA Kartini caused by individual differences, interest differences, cultural and social changes. The supporting factor in application of multicultural curriculum was that all stakeholders at SMA Kartini still have tolerant attitude which can be developed and directed and the teachers at SMA Kartini have inclusive attitude. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in application of multicultural curriculum at SMA Kartini were the minimum facilities and infrastructure, lack of information services, and lack of supervision towards students.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to present the results of research concerning empirical description of the parenting and its influences on religious behavior and students’ study results in the subject of PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam/Islamic Education). The research method used is qualitative and quantitative methods. The population of the research is all students and their parents in the fifth grade of elementary school in one group of Pulau Kijang, in Reteh Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir, Riau. The sampling used the technique of cluster sampling for 80 students and 80 parents. The results of the research show that the parenting determines the height and low of students’ religious behavior and PAI study results. Students who have high and average religious behavior are educated by the parents having the authoritative parenting, while the students having low religious behavior are those who are educated by authoritarian, authoritative, permissive, authoritarian-authoritative combination, and authoritative-permissive combination parentings. Meanwhile, students who have the high study results are educated by the parents having the authoritative parenting, while the students whose study results are average are educated by the authoritarian, authoritative, permissive, authoritarian-authoritative combination, and authoritative-permissive combination parentings.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of students’ habituation in schools and religious attitudes which are owned by them as an effort to strengthen positive behavior in globalization era. This research was conducted at Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Insantama Bogor. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the school has a number of activities, with emphasis on habituation. Habituation at school refers to the value of the Islamic teachings. Since the entry gate to home school, students familiarize positive behavior. Students have a noble character or al-akhlãk al-karîmah through habituation derived from value of Islam. The students at SDIT Insantama Bogor familiarize the positive behaviour, so that they have a noble character, such as having a character to Allah (loving Allah), behaving whole hearted, behaving honest, feeling self-confident, behaving emphatic, forgiving, saying well, behaving tolerant, and having the character towards environment by loving the nature and keeping the environment clean.

Abstract

The implementation of KKNI (Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia/national standard–based curriculum), especially in PTKIS (Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Swasta/Private Islamic Higher Education) demands the role of its study program leaders. The purpose of this study was to explore the implementation of KKNI curriculum on several perspectives: role, performance, teaching steps, understanding factors related to the distribution KKNI, and impact to education in Indonesia. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, including interview, observation, and documentation as technique for collecting data and triangulation technique for ensuring data validity. The results indicated that the performance of eight heads of PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam/Islamic education) Study Program was not in optimum condition as a determinant of the direction, representative of spokesperson, communicator, mediator, and integrator. The implementation of the curriculum was also not effective yet. Then, the factors that influence the implementation are the lack of resources, time, campus ethics, knowledge support, professional interests and attitudes. To understand this condition, we also investigated the impact of knowledge, in which the result showed no information regarding what the policy/program offers, what the target group needs, and why the average student's score is still low. National accreditation, in the eight PAI Study Programs, did not reach the excellence category. Thus, the performance on the study program has not been accountable and will have implications for the weakness of social legitimacy.

Abstract

This article presents the process of developing an effective learning model to improve teenagers’ self-esteem and motivation of having achievement. The research used mixed method research.  In developing the learning model, the researcher carried out pre-study, development and model validation, and a model testing. The research generated a theoretically and empirically proper learning model to improve teenagers’ self-esteem and motivation of having achievement at pesantren (Islamic boarding school). The learning model which was generated is MPPHM (Model Pembelajaran Peningkatan Harga Diri dan Motivasi /The Learning Model to Improve Self-Esteem and Motivation). This model was able to create the interesting, pleasant, and challenging study ambience to be followed by students. The results showed that it generated pedagogic development, provided the efforts to solve a problem in improving teenagers’ self-esteem and motivation of having achievement, and served as the input for plan, implementation, and development of pesantren or other education institutions. This study was expected to benefit the teachers, principals and parents to pay attention to their children psychosocial factor that influence their children behaviors.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن نوعية الاختبار النهائي على المستوى الوطني للسنة الدراسية 2012/2013م للمدارس الثانوية الإسلامية في إندونيسيا. والمراد بالنوعية هنا جودة أسئلة الاختبار من حيث كميتها ونوعيتها. وطريقة التقويم في هذا البحث هي طريقة كيفية بقيام المناقشة والملاحظة العميقة والنقدية حول الأسئلة في الاختبار النهائي على المستوى الوطني في السنة الدراسية 2012/2013م للمدارس الثانوية الإسلامية بإندونيسيا. وكذلك القيام بمناقشات المجموعة المركزة مع الخبراء في تقويم اللغة العربية وأيضا مع مدرسي اللغة العربية للمدارس الإسلامية وخاصة هم الذين تخرجوا في قسم اللغة العربية لكونهم مستوعبين على تقويم الاختبارات الجيدة وغير الجيدة.  و نتائج البحث هي أنه من ناحية مستوى نوعية الاختبار كيفيا مازال في الاختبار نقصان وأخطاء وهي في كتابة الأرقام التي ما زالت مكتوبة بطريقة خاطئة، وأيضا في توازن الخيار الصحيح بين الخيارات البديلة. ومن ناحية توفير الاختبار العناصر الواجبة في اختبار اللغة العربية.

Abstract

This study explains the development paradigm of Islamic studies in the College (PTAI) that is inspired by the transformation of science that has developed along with the demands of a globalized world which is marked the transformation of information technology or information civilization. This study is a library research at IAIN Ambon. The research resource includes the book of the Scientific Development Paradigm at IAIN Ambon with hermeneutic and deconstructive approach and critical analysis. Based on the research concluded: (1) Scientific paradigm developed in Ambon IAIN is interconnected-integrated paradigm in the metaphor of bees, where all sciences are closely related each other; and (2) the development of integrated-interconnected paradigm at Ambon IAIN conceptually is not fully relevant to the idea of founding fathers on this paradigm. It seems immature and not yet supported by the strong philosophy principles.
