Abstract

ABSTRACT Any changes in the system of an organization could be stressful. Havinghardiness would be important to deal with a problem. This study aims toseek out the effectiveness of hardiness training in improving problemsolving.A quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-post testdesign was applied. There were sixteen employees of variousorganizational divisions enrolled in this study. Data were collected beforeand after the six-session of hardiness training using the Brief COPE scaleand the Dispositional Resilience Scale (DRS-15) developed by Bertone.Results from the Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed that there was nosignificant difference in the attitude of the effectiveness of problem-solvingamong employees before and after training (p>0,05). However, there weredifferences in knowledge of understanding hardiness before and aftertraining. (p=.002, p>0,05). It can be concluded that hardiness trainingcould increase the knowledge about hardiness; but not the attitude towardproblem-solving.ABSTRAKSetiap perubahan dalam sistem organisasi dapat membuat stres bagisebagian orang. Memiliki sifat tahan banting menjadi penting dalammenghadapi suatu masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiefektivitas pelatihan hardiness dalam meningkatkan pemecahanmasalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen dengandesain one group prates-paskates. Enam belas karyawan dari berbagaidivisi organisasi Yayasan Sosial dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Datadikumpulkan sebelum dan setelah enam sesi pelatihan hardinessmenggunakan skala Brief COPE dan Dispositional Resilience scale (DRS-15) yang dikembangkan Bertone. Hasil dari uji Wilcoxon signed rank-testmenunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam sikappemecahan masalah di antara karyawan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan(p> 0,05). Namun, ada perbedaan pengetahuan dalam memahamihardiness sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. (p = 0,002, p> 0,05).Disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan hardiness dapat meningkatkanpengetahuan tentang hardiness; tetapi tidak dapat meningkatkan sikaptangguh dalam menyelesaikan masalah.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to test the effectiveness of the multisensory method of early reading skills in children with mild mental retardation in grade VI at SLB (Special School) Bina Bangsa, Ngelom, Taman, Sidoarjo. The research method used in this research is the Single Subject Research (SSR) experimental method with the ABA design model. The subject in this study was a grade 6 student with mental retardation at Special School (SLB) Bina Bangsa, Ngelom, Taman, Sidoarjo. The data collection technique used in this study was an initial reading ability test. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive statistical data analysis techniques with data analysis in conditions and between conditions. The results of this study indicate that the multisensory method is effective in improving early reading skills in mildly retarded children.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas metode multisensori keterampilan membaca awal pada anak retardasi mental kelas VI di SLB (Sekolah Luar Biasa) Bina Bangsa, Ngelom, Taman, Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimental dan menggunakan desain ABA. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang siswa kelas VI Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Bina Bangsa, Ngelom, Taman, Sidoarjo, yang mengalami retardasi mental ringan. Teknik data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan membaca awal. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini ialah statistik deskriptif dengan analisis data dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode multisensori efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca awal pada anak retardasi ringan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to observe the effectiveness of the devout prayer training to improve the happiness of the family caregiver of the patients with stroke. Eight caregivers of patients with stroke were involved in this research. The subject was divided into two groups: experimental group (n= 4) and control group (n = 4). The research design used was pretest-post test control group design measured by three times (pretest, post test, and follow-up within two weeks). The measurement tools used in this research was the scale of happiness by Seligman. The result of the research showed a significant improvement in the happiness score in the family caregiver of the patients with stroke after given the treatment in the form of the devout prayer training.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari pelatihan shalat khusyuk untuk meningkatkan kebahagiaan pada family caregiver pasien stroke. Delapan orang caregiver pasien stroke terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Subjek terbagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen (n = 4) dan kelompok kontrol (n = 4). Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah prates paskates control group designdan diukur sebanyak tiga kali (prates, pasca tes, dan tindak lanjutselama dua minggu). Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah skala kebahagiaan oleh Seligman. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan skor kebahagiaan yang signifikan pada family caregiver pasien stroke setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa pelatihan shalat khusyuk.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research objective was to increase the career maturity of junior highschool students through career planning training based on five stages ofdecision making CASVE Cycle (Communicating, Analyzing, Synthesis,Valuing, Exception). The research method was a quasi-experimental studywith a one-group pretest-post test group design. The research subjectswere 10 students who were taken by purposive sampling. The researchinstrument used a career maturity scale and data analysis used theWilcoxon statistical test. The results showed that career planning trainingincreased the career maturity of junior high school students.ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa sekolahmenengah pertama melalui pelatihan perencanaan karir yangdidasarkan pada lima tahap pengambilan keputusan CASVE Cycle(Communicating, Analysing, Synthesis, Valuing, Excecution). Metodepenelitian ini menggunakan kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain one-grouppretest-paska tes group. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 10 siswa yangdiambil secara purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian inimenggunakan skala kematangan karir dengan analisis datamenggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwapelatihan perencanaan karir mampu meningkatkan kematangan karirsiswa sekolah menengah pertama.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of gratitude training to improve the quality of life in women with physical disabilities. Participans of this study were 30 participants, there are 15 participants in each group. The data were analyzed using mixed design anova.The result showed a very significant difference in quality of life’s score at pretest, posttest, and follow up between the experimental and controlled group (F=56,586, p=0,000 (p<0,05)).In addition, there was significant changes in quality of life’s score at experimental group (MD=-15,467 and p=0,000.Those findings indicate that there was increase in the level quality of life in the experimental group.Furthermore,gratitude training contributed 84,3% to the increase quality of life.of women with physical disabilities.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of the Empathic CaringConsultation (ECC) program on Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL) inpsychologists. This study involved seven psychologists. The researchsample was taken using purposive sampling method. The researchmethod used was one group pretest-post test design. ProQOL is measuredusing the Professional Quality of Life Version V scale, while theimplementation of ECC training refers to the concept of Prawitasari.Analysis using Wilcoxon signed-rank test with a significant value (p) =0.340 (BO); 0.932 (STS); 0.496 (CS) (p&gt; 0.05). The results of the studyshowed that there was no effect of the ECC program on ProQOL onpsychologists. Abstract

In today's modern society, including in Indonesia, there is an environmental crisis. This environmental crisis can be overcome by changing people's behavior and perspective by intervening to the community as early as possible. Storytelling can be one way to increase children's understanding about respect for nature. This study aims to knowing the effectiveness of storytelling to increase understanding of respect for nature in children aged 5-6 years. This study involving 31 children from TK Negeri Pembina, Kuningan, as participants. Intervention is done by reading four tales in four days. Understanding of respect for nature is measured using a measurement tool created by the researcher, in the form of six illustrations that depicting the behavior of respect for nature. The statistic analysis using Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed the difference of mean value of respect for nature understanding is significant (p <0.05) between before and after reading tales. The result of post-test 2, which done two weeks after the intervention still shows an increase score from the pre test.

Abstract

This experiment research aimed to examine the effect of Keajaiban Doa Islamic Training to improve emotional well-being of high school students in SMK “X” Yogyakarta. This research used non-randomized Pre and Posttest Control Group Design. Participants of this research were divided into two group, control and experiment groups. Keajaiban Doa Islamic Training was only gave to 14 respondents from experiment group and have identified as low emotional well-being score. They were asked to complete Simsek’s emotional well-being scale (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0,86) before and after experiment. The result showed significancy p=0.00 (p < 0.05) for the comparison level of g score on experiment and control respondents at pre and posttest.  It means that Keajaiban Doa Islamic Training could improved  emotional well-being  of  high  school students in SMK “X” Yogyakarta. Keywords: Emotional Well-Being,  Prayers,  Keajaiban  Doa  Islami, Training

Abstract

. Individuals who are unable to comply with the standards of ideal physical conditions found in the community are vulnerable to criticism or scorn. Criticism of the individual's physical appearance performed by other people and themselves tend to make individuals experience feelings of shame about their bodies. One of the factors that influence body shame is the thoughts individuals have about their physical condition. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy to reduce the level of body shame. This research method uses quasi-experiments. The research subjects were 17 people. The experimental group was given Cognitive behavior therapy while the control group was given makeup skills training or Beauty Class. Data analysis used by using One-way ANOVA. The results showed that effective Cognitive Behavior Therapy to reduce the body shame level of research subjects compared to Beauty Class

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of Hadrah Rodad Dance on adolescent religiosity. The subject of this study is male adolescents, who are 12 to 15 years old and being students of Islamic Junior High School (MTs) in Lamongan regency. There are 60 adolescents who are chosen, and they are grouped into two groups randomly. The first group consists of 30 adolescents as an experimental group. The second group consists of 30 adolescents as a control group. Type of this study is experimental research using pretest-posttest control group design. The research data is taken by using a religiosity scale. The data analysis technique used is analysis of covariance (ANACOVA) which is obtained by F = 67,744 and Sig/p = 0,00. It means that there is a significant difference between the group of adolescent religiosity which gets the treatment of hadrah rodad dance (experimental group) and the group of adolescents who do not get the treatment of hadrah rodad dance (control group). After the groups have been given the treatment of hadrah rodad dance, there are different results of the groups. The religiosity average of the experimental group is 37,37 which is higher than the religiosity average of the control group, that is 5,76. The results of the study prove that the dance of hadrah rodad is an effective way to improve adolescent religiosity.
