Abstract

ISO issued the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard in October 2022 to update ISO/IEC 27001:2013 with the main objective of improving the relevance of the standard to the current state of information security, ensuring simpler and more effective controls, and facilitating better risk handling. The transition period given is for 3 years since the latest standard was published in October 2022, ISO provides a transition period until October 31, 2025 so that organizations can adjust their information security management systems to the latest version. After that date, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification is declared invalid, and all organizations that want to maintain their certification must comply with the latest ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. The proposed solution from this research is thirteen action plans to be implemented by PT PKT to close the identified gaps and to meet all the requirements in ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The action plans are grouped according to Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) cycle adopted by ISO as the basis for consideration in preparing the implementation time frame. The results of the research showed that PT PKT could make a transition in eight months. The implementation of proposed action plan starts in July 2024 and will completed in February 2025, which means that PT PKT can successfully transition ISO/IEC 27001:2022 before the due date.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze millennial consumer trust in environmentally friendly products in the Medan Denai District, Medan City. The independent variables used include product information (X1), product quality (X2), and product price (X3); the mediating variable is consumer trust (Z); and the dependent variable is purchase decision (Y). This research employs a quantitative method with data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS version 4.1.1.1. The population of the study consists of 129 individuals, and the sample size was determined using Slovin's formula with a 5% margin of error. The results indicate that product information, product quality, and product price significantly affect consumer trust. Consumer trust, in turn, has the greatest impact on purchase decisions, with an Original Sample (O) value of 0.710 and a T-statistic of 8.875. Product price significantly influences both trust (O = 0.420, T = 3.000) and purchase decision (O = 0.210, T = 2.333), indicating that a reasonable or competitive price can enhance consumer trust and drive purchasing behavior. Similarly, product information significantly affects trust (O = 0.310, T = 2.385) and purchase decision (O = 0.280, T = 2.667). Product quality also affects trust (O = 0.290, T = 2.320) and purchase decision (O = 0.240, T = 2.526), though to a slightly lesser degree. The indirect path analysis shows that consumer trust significantly mediates the relationship between the three independent variables and the purchase decision. Product price has an indirect effect through trust (O = 0.350, T = 2.917), as do product information (O = 0.230, T = 2.091) and product quality (O = 0.260, T = 2.476). These findings highlight that trust is a key factor in driving millennial consumers' decisions to purchase environmentally friendly products, which can be enhanced through pricing strategies, clear product information, and consistent product quality.

Abstract

Indonesia the highest number of smokers in ASEAN, according BPS in 2023 there are 28.62% of individuals aged 15 and older who smoked tobacco in the past month. The government aims to reduce the smoking prevalence In Indonesia through the implementation of smoke-free area (SFA) policies. Studies in various countries have shown that smoking bans policies significantly reduce smoking prevalence. However, not all regional governments in Indonesia have SFA regulation. This study is to analyze the impact of SFA policies and the duration of their implementation on the prevalence of smoking in Indonesia. This research using Logit regression model and interpreted using Marginal Effects. The findings indicate that SFA policy and the duration have varying effects across different age groups. For the adult, found that SFA policy and the duration had a negative and significant impact on smoking probability. The SFA policy is essential for the government to control the health impacts of tobacco consumption. This study is expected to provide new insights and enrich references and literature on the study of smoking bans and smoking prevalence. Moreover, it can serve as a consideration for the government in its efforts to mitigate the health impacts of tobacco consumption in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of market structure on the profitability of the largest commercial banks in Indonesia during the 2021–2024 period. The main focus of the study is on the relationship between market concentration (CR), market share (MS), and its interaction with Return on Assets (ROA), with the Structure-Conduct-Performance (SCP) approach. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach with panel data analysis on the 10 largest banks, covering more than 65% of the assets of the national banking industry. The estimation model used is the Random Effect Model, with control variables such as Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), total assets (ASSET), cost efficiency (CIR), and non-performing loans (NPL). The results showed that the CR and MS variables generally had a negative effect on ROA, while control variables such as LDR and ASSET had a significant positive effect. The interaction between MS and CR (MSCR) is also negative, suggesting that market dominance in a concentrated structure is not always advantageous. Implicitly, a bank's profitability is influenced more by operational efficiency and risk management than market forces. Therefore, regulators are advised to focus on improving efficiency through stricter supervisory policies, instead of encouraging market concentration as a means of improving banking performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between information transparency, information ambiguity, and information overload on gluten-free products, as well as the influence of social contagion on the relationship. The research method used is a survey by distributing questionnaires to consumers of gluten-free products. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant positive correlation between information transparency and information ambiguity, and a positive correlation between information ambiguity and information overload. In addition, social contagion has also been shown to moderate the relationship between these variables. These findings indicate that consumers want clear, complete, and relevant information about gluten-free products. However, they are often faced with ambiguous and excessive information, which can cause confusion and difficulty in making decisions. Social media plays an important role in disseminating information about gluten-free products, both accurate and inaccurate. This study suggests the importance of increasing information transparency, reducing ambiguity, and managing the dissemination of information through social media to increase consumer satisfaction with gluten-free products.

Abstract

This study analyses the influence of women's autonomy on the decision to attend antenatal care at K4 and K6 levels in Indonesia, using data from the 2017 Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS). A binary logistic regression model was used to explore the influence of women's autonomy—measured through decision-making power within the household and control over resources—on the utilisation of maternal health services. Control variables include age, education, women's employment status, husband's employment status and education, place of residence (urban/rural), and geographical region (Java-Bali vs. non-Java-Bali). The results indicate that women's autonomy significantly increases the likelihood of attending antenatal visits according to the K4 and K6 standards. These findings are consistent across various model specifications, both with and without additional control variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use and perceived risk on attitude toward using and intention to use QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) in Jabodetabek. A quantitative research was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected from 201 QRIS users and analyzed using SmartPLS 3. The findings indicate that higher perceived ease of use increases both users’ attitude and intention to use QRIS. Conversely, higher users’ perceived risk reduces both their attitude toward using the system and their intention to adopt it. Moreover, it also found that users’ attitude toward using QRIS mediates the relationship between perceived variables and behavioral intention. These findings highlight the importance of educational and communication strategies to enhance positive users’ attitudes and to reduce perceived risk in order to increase QRIS adoption.
