Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of content marketing (X1) and electronic word of mouth (eWOM) on customer retention (Y) at Jatiroso Catering. A questionnaire with 98 respondents chosen using non-probability sampling methods was used to gather primary data, namely purposive sampling and voluntary sampling. Through the use of the Smart PLS 4 application, the study methodology employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. According to the study's findings, content marketing significantly and favorably affects 39.9% of customers' retention rates. However, with a 27.4% contribution, eWOM also has a favorable and noteworthy impact on customer retention. These findings confirm that both variables are statistically demonstrated to have a major impact in raising customer retention at Jatiroso Catering.

Abstract

This study delves into the interactive relationship between performance allowances and organizational culture, with specific reference to the moderating effect of leadership style amongst a sample of 180 PNS and PPPK officers working in city-level offices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Using a cross-sectional survey design and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), this research assesses hypotheses informed by social exchange theory and contingency theory. Performance allowances are found to impact organisational culture substantially (β = 0.169, p < 0.05); however, such an impact is mainly moderated by leadership style, which shows no direct effects. Performance allowances significantly impact leadership style (β = 0.785, p < 0.001), and the latter has a strong impact in turn on organisational culture (β = 0.752, p < 0.001). Leadership style's moderating effect on the relationshipbetween performance allowances and organisational culture is statistically significant (β = 0.050, p < 0.05), and implies synergistic effects when these two constructs are interactive. The model predicts 67.1% and 61.6% of variance for organisational culture and leadership style, respectively. These findings enrich the literature on compensation by presenting leadership behaviour as the overriding mechanism by which performance-based compensation impacts organisational culture and so implying that integrated interventions combining compensation systems and leadership development initiatives may result in superior cultural transformation outcomes.

Abstract

PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is a leading coal mining enterprise with a vital role in supplying energy for both domestic consumption and export markets. One of the company’s major challenges lies in managing laycan schedules, which can trigger operational risks, intensify port congestion, and hinder the coal loading process. This study aims to identify operational risks associated with laycan that lead to demurrage and to propose strategies to mitigate these risks at Tarahan Port. The research applies a gap analysis framework supported by Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Data were collected through both primary and secondary sources. Primary data involved focus group discussions designed with FMEA to assess severity, frequency, and detection levels, with insights from thirteen informants: eight from the distribution division, one port supervisor, and four operational support staff. Secondary data were drawn from historical records spanning 2023–2024. The analysis incorporated FMEA and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Findings revealed 25 root causes using the 5 Why method. The top risks included loading delays at jetty 3, simultaneous vessel arrivals, domestic jetty queues, export documentation delays due to surveyor systems. Recommendations emphasize addressing urgent loading bottlenecks, implementing phased solutions, enhancing cross-team coordination, and ensuring continuous monitoring.

Abstract

This study uses the Triple Bottom Line approach to analyze strategies for increasing the potential of digital-based MSMEs to implement a green economy in border areas. In the digital context, it is urgent to study this topic because MSMEs that cannot adapt to information technology risk being left behind. Therefore, it is important to identify strategies that can support the transformation and competitiveness of MSMEs in the market. Integrating the principles of the green economy and the Triple Bottom Line emphasizes balancing social, economic, and environmental dimensions while encouraging innovation and collaboration between the government, private sector, and community. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. Data sources were obtained through observation, a literature study, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews with respondents from four MSME clusters in border areas. MSME clusters were grouped into three categories: creative industries, services, and culinary. Data validation was carried out in the form of problem-based learning (PBL)-based focus group discussions (FGDs) with all informants. The results of this study describe strategies to improve MSME human resources, including building a digital education platform, training digital practitioners, strengthening infrastructure, branding, product differentiation, and designing a digital payment system.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a significant role in the Indonesian economy, including the ornamental plant subsector in Deli Serdang Regency, which is growing in line with the green lifestyle trend. This study analyzes the influence of environmental accounting and green economy on the revenue of the Madirsan Ornamental Plant MSME using quantitative methods, using 50 respondents through a Likert questionnaire and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that both variables have a significant positive effect on increasing revenue, with green economy as the dominant factor. The R² value of 0.643 indicates that 64.3% of the variation in revenue is explained by both variables, the remainder is influenced by other factors. It is concluded that the implementation of environmental accounting and green economy increases the competitiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of MSMEs while supporting sustainable economic development.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of capital adequacy (CAR), financing (FDR), and operational efficiency (BOPO) on profitability (ROA), with financing risk (NPF) as a mediating variable, in Islamic Rural Banks (BPRS) in East Java during 2019–2023. Using a quantitative approach with panel data regression on 24 BPRS over five years of observation (N = 120), model selection tests (Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier) identified the Random Effect Model as the most appropriate estimation method. Mediation analysis was conducted using the Baron & Kenny causal step approach. The findings show that financing risk (NPF) and operational efficiency (BOPO) negatively and significantly affect profitability, while capital adequacy (CAR) and financing (FDR) exert no significant effect. Importantly, NPF demonstrates a full mediating role in the relationship between FDR and ROA, suggesting that financing can enhance profitability only when supported by effective risk management. This study underscores the necessity for Islamic banks to strengthen adaptive risk management and operational efficiency to achieve sustainable profitability.

Abstract

This research investigates how user experience, service convenience, and service comfort affect revisit intention, with user satisfaction positioned as a mediating variable within the Legal Metrology Unit of Banyuwangi Regency. A quantitative method with an explanatory research design was applied to explore these relationships. The study population comprised 245 users or entrepreneurs, from which 152 respondents were purposively selected as the sample. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) assisted by WarpPLS 8.0 software to test the proposed model and hypotheses. The results indicate that user experience, service convenience, and service comfort have an effect on user satisfaction and revisit intention. Furthermore, user satisfaction has an effect on revisit intention and mediates the influence of user experience, service convenience, and service comfort on revisit intention. These findings suggest that the more positive the user's experience, the more convenient and comfortable the service, the higher the satisfaction level, which in turn encourages users to revisit the service. Practically, the results provide implications for the management of the Legal Metrology Unit to maintain and enhance service quality through clear information, simplified procedures, improved physical comfort, and strengthened positive social interactions.
