Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the development, benefits, challenges, and future research directions in the implementation of Electronic Human Resource Management (e-HRM) in the era of digital transformation. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by PRISMA and bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny, the study analyzed 15 empirical articles published between 2019 and 2025 that are indexed in Scopus. The network visualization results reveal that e-HRM serves as a central theme closely linked to issues such as Artificial Intelligence, digital ethics, technostress, corporate sustainability, and organizational performance. The density visualization analysis shows that researchers have extensively explored e-HRM and organizational performance, yet areas such as technostress, digital ethics, and corporate sustainability still represent potential research gaps. Overall, the findings reveal that implementing e-HRM enhances HR process efficiency, enables data-driven decision-making, improves employee experience, and supports organizational sustainability.. Nevertheless, the study also identifies several challenges, such as high implementation costs, resistance to digital transformation, data security and privacy risks, and the emergence of technostress among employees. Based on the review results, future studies should focus on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning into e-HRM, examining ethical considerations in algorithmic decision-making, and exploring the cross-cultural adaptability of e-HRM systems.

The rapid development of Paylater services in Indonesia, as part of the digital transformation and growth of e-commerce, has facilitated transactions without the need for credit cards, yet it raises concerns about financial and social risks that influence user intentions. This study's objective is to establish the effects of lifestyle and risk perception on the aim to use Pay Later services, with assign as a moderating variable. A quantitative technique was employed with data collected by online questionnaires and examined by Partial Least Squares (PLS). The outcomes indicate that lifestyle has a significant positive influence on usage intention, while risk perception has a significant negative influence, but trust does not significantly moderate these relationships. In conclusion, psychological and social factors are crucial in decisions regarding Paylater usage, making targeted marketing strategies and risk education key to increasing adoption of these services.

Abstract

This study aims to reframe the concept of work flexibility by analyzing its impact on job performance through the mediating role of polychronicity. The research focuses on Gen-Z employees working in the creative industry of DKI Jakarta that known by their adaptive work styles and multitasking tendencies. A quantitative approach was employed using data collected from 120 respondents of Gen-Z through purposive sampling and the analysis conducted using PLS-SEM. The results reveal that work flexibility has a positive and significant effect on job performance, indicating that flexible work arrangements can enhance employees’ productivity. However, polychronicity does not significantly mediate the relationship between work flexibility and job performance, suggesting that multitasking preferences does not necessarily amplify performances. These findings emphasize that while flexibility remains a crucial driver of performance, the alignment between individual time preferences and task structure may not always strengthen its impact. This study contributes to the understanding of how flexibility and time-use orientation interact within Gen-Z’s performance on work.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Indonesia’s music scene has created challenges related to unfair royalty distribution and limited intellectual property protection. This study investigates how intellectual property and value creation influence the career sustainability of musicians, with collaboration as the mediating factor. A quantitative approach was applied, using a structured questionnaire distributed to 110 musicians across major cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya, resulting in 102 valid responses. The questionnaire aims to measure the perceptions of intellectual property management, value creation, and long-term career sustainability. Findings reveal that Value Creation’s impact on Career Sustainability is fully mediated by Collaboration. Collaboration itself has a significant positive effect on Career Sustainability. Conversely, Intellectual Property was found to have no significant impact on either collaboration or career sustainability, which may be due to inefficient royalty systems in Indonesia. These results highlight that collaboration is the critical mechanism transforming an artist’s value into long-term viability, supporting the Service-Dominant Logic framework. Future research should utilize larger samples and explore additional factors like digital platform policies.

Abstract

PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) processed 2,679 procurement requests in the first half of 2025 with 55% consist of maintenance spare parts that are essential to keep operations run smoothly and reliably contains 1,368 PR (Purchase Requisition). The focus of this study was to examine and enhance the procurement lead time for maintenance spare parts from PR is submitted until a purchase order (PO) is finalized. The research methodology combined quantitative analysis of transaction data used BPMN modeling process and simulation through Bizagi software. Additional insights were gathered through interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) with relevant stakeholders. The As-Is process simulation shows that the total procurement lead time reached 60.5 days from start to finished well beyond the company's target of 50 days. The main delays occurred during the procurement execution phase and when PO creation, largely because of repetitive procedures and approval processes that required manual intervention. To tackle these challenges the Author proposed several business solution and approach Business Process Reengineering (BPR) mentioned electronic signatures to speed up approvals, establishing umbrella contracts to eliminate redundant procurement cycles, vendor rating system and a risk dashboard implementation that provides real-time visibility into potential issues. The To-Be simulation from proposed improvements in a blended scenario where 45% of procurements adopt umbrella contracts and 55% remain under conventional methods showed results the average lead time decreased to 44.7 days which is exceed to the expected KPI target. These results indicate that combination of digital approval workflows, standardized contract arrangements and proactive risk monitoring can substantially improve how efficiently procurement operates. Furthermore, this study also demonstrates the practical value of BPR can improve procurement operations more responsive and dependable within the mining sector.

Abstract

This study investigates how PT Triton Global Maritim, an Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) company in Indonesia, addressed rising additional costs caused by inefficiencies in its document handling processes within the Procurement and Logistics (PNL) division. To resolve this, the company initiated the development of Resource Planning (ERP) system. The research applied Design Thinking to identify user problems and Agile Scrum to implement ERP features iteratively. A combination of Design Thinking and Agile Scrum methodologies was applied: Design Thinking was used to identify user problems through focus group discussions with the PNL user and interviews with the director, while Agile Scrum guided the iterative development and testing of the ERP prototype. The results indicate that the newly developed ERP system updates significantly improve process performance, reducing document lead time by 307% to 800% compared to the previous system. These findings confirm that combining Design Thinking and Agile Scrum provides an effective framework creating an internal ERP solution to optimize organizational efficiency and decision-making within the company.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of accrual-based accounting implementation and government governance quality on the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17): Partnerships for the Goals. The data cover 153 countries during 2020–2023, obtained from reputable sources, including the Sustainable Development Report, the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), and the World Bank. Using a panel linear regression approach with unbalanced data, the study examines the relationships between institutional, governance, and economic factors and the success of global partnerships. The findings indicate that both accrual-based accounting and government governance quality positively and significantly affect SDG 17 achievement, highlighting the importance of fiscal transparency, accountability, and institutional effectiveness in strengthening international partnerships. In contrast, differences in economic prosperity across countries do not appear to be a primary driver of global partnership success. These results underscore that institutional and governance factors are key to supporting sustainable development through cross-country collaborations. The main implication is that governments should prioritize institutional reforms, particularly the strengthening of accrual-based accounting systems, as a foundation for building trust, improving program effectiveness, and ensuring the sustainability of international cooperation within the 2030 Agenda framework.
