Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis wacana teks iklan komersial yang direpresentasikan pada media televisi dan online. Pemaknaan kata, frasa, kalimat  dalam iklan komersial dikaji dengan analisis wacana kritis Fairclough yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap yaitu: deskripsi, interpretasi, dan ekspalanasi yang mengkaji tiga nilai yaitu:  eksperensial,  relasional, dan ekspresif  dalam pilihan gramatika berupa penggunaan model kalimat. Model kalimat yang ditemukan adalah kalimat metafora pencitraan, frasa adjektiva, pewatas, kata sifat (adjektiva).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Bentuk kalimat yang muncul dalam wacana iklan operator seluler adalah termasuk ragam tak baku. Bahasa iklan meniru dari bahasa iklan operator selular lain, yang mengunggulkan tarif telepon murah. Pihak operator seluler berusaha menyampaikan informasi dan menarik perhatian pengguna kartu seluler. Bahasa yang disampaikan dalam iklan memiliki makna dan mencerminkan karakter dari setiap perusahaan jasa operator seluler. Semakin beragamnya operator seluler yang ada di Indonesia menimbulkan persaingan guna mendapatkan hati penggunanya. Setiap operator menggunakan kosakata yang menarik hati pelanggan seluler dan bahkan menjatuhkan operator seluler lain.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of project-based learning model on the ability to write poetry students of class VIII SMP Negeri 33 Makassar. The data of this research are obtained from the value of learning result before the treatment (pre-test) to know the ability of student poetry writing and postes score to know the poem ability of the students based on the conformity of the content with theme, image, diction, figurative language / language style and typography with using a project-based learning model. The result of pretest data analysis is known that the ability to write poetry is not enough yet because the number of students who score 70 and above has not reached 85% and the ability to write posttest poem is adequate because the number of students who scored 70 upward has reached 85%. The result of inferential analysis also shows that the normalized gain average appears that the sig value. (2-tailed) is 0,000 which is 0.000 0.05 so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted which means that the average increase in student learning outcomes ≥ 30. In addition the results of inferential statistical analysis also indicate that students' which is performed by using a proportion test with a significant level of 5% obtained Z table = 1.64 where H0 accepted if Z arithmetic ≤ 1.64. Because the value of Z arithmetic is 2.017, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means student completeness in classical ≥ 85%. So it can be concluded that the use of project-based learning model on the ability of writing poetry meet the criteria effectively.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to describe the effectiveness of storyboard in learning storytelling skill of second year students of class VII A at MTs Muhammadiyah Limbung. This research used descriptive quantitative method with the research design was pre-experimental design. The achievement of students result in learning storytelling had the average (84, 19) of 37 students and all of the student were completed the Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) with the higher score was (90) and the lower score was (75). Since the achievement, (99, 99%) students achieved Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). By using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, the result of the average score analysis for pre-test shown that Pvalue α was (0, 56) 0, 05 and the average score for post-test shown that Pvalue α was (0, 09) 0, 05. The data shown that the result of pre-test and post-test included in normal category. Based on the result of SPSS analysis, shown that P (sig. (2-tailed) was 0,000 0, 05. It shown that the average of students’ result in learning after taught by using storyboard technique was more than 74, 9. It implied that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted which implied that the average of students’ result (post-test) of second year students of class VII A MTs Muhammadiyah Limbung. Based on the result of the research above, could be concluded that learning storytelling skill by using storyboard technique was more effective than the conventional method of learning. By using the technique, students’ intellect and grasp skill were more stimulated in telling an event or their experience by using visual aid as the aid in conveying the event or experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh gambaran mengenai subordinasi yang dialami oleh tokoh perempuan tionghoa bernama Lely dalam novel Pecinan: Suara Hati Wanita Tionghoa Karya Ratna Indraswari Ibrahim. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data yang diperoleh terdapat pada novel Pecinan: Suara Hati Wanita Tionghoa Karya Ratna Indraswari Ibrahim . Data penelitian ini berupa dialog para tokoh, narasi, perilaku dan pemikiran tokoh  dalam dalam novel yang menggambarkan subordinasi yang dilakukan oleh tokoh laki-laki terhadap tokoh perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data yang di perlukan yang berkaitan dengan pernyataan tentang gambaran subordinasi yang dialami oleh perempuan dalam novel Pecinan: Suara Hati Wanita Tionghoa Karya Ratna Indraswari Ibrahim . Prosedur penelitian data yang digunakan yaitu membaca naskah drama, mencatat data-data yang digunakan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi membaca buku analisis penelitian sastra. Hasil dari penelitian novel ini menunjukan bahwa adanya subordinasi yang dialami oleh tokoh perempuan mulai dari kecil hingga Ia menikah diantaranya (1) Tidak Adanya Kesempatan untuk Bermain, (2) Perbedaan Fasilitas dari Orang Tua, (3) Putus Sekolah, (4) Tidak Mempunyai kesempatan untuk Melihat dan Belajar di Luar Rumah, (5) Kehilangan Hak Dalam Menentukan Calon Suami, dan (6) Kehilangan Hak pada Saat Perkawinan. Kata kunci: Novel, Gender, Ketidakadilan Gender, Subordinasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan membahas tentang  (1) Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala SMP terhadap Kinerja Guru Bahasa Indonesia di Kabupaten Gowa  (2) Seberapa besar pengaruh antara variabel Kepemimpinan Kepala SMP dan variabel kinerja guru bahasa Indonesia di Kabupaten Gowa.Data yang dianalisis pada penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui survei dengan menggunakan angket yang didistribusikan ke 100 guru bahasa Indonesia dari  50 SMP di Kabupaten Gowa. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan multidisipliner.  Analisis dilakukan melalui beberapa langkah.  Pertama penulis melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap sifat-sifat pengukuran melalui analisis faktor konfirmatori. Kedua, penulis melakukan verifikasi model dengan menggunakan model persamaan struktur atau SEM (structural equation modeling). Akhirnya, penulis melakukan jastifikasi atas hasil analisis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Gaya dan situasi kepemimpinan Kepala SMP   serta iklim organisasi SMP di Kabupaten Gowa secara simultan berpengaruh positif  terhadap kinerja guru bahasa Indonesia, (2) Pengaruh antar variabel, secara parsial memperlihatkan nilai yang bervariasi. Iklim kerja memiliki tingkat pengaruh paling tinggi terhadap kinerja guru bahasa Indonesia diantara variabel yang diteliti. Implikasi penelitian memperlihatkan perlunya seseorang pemimpin memperhatikan bawahannya melalui proses penciptaan dan pencitraan iklim kerja yang kondusif serta perhatian yang tinggi terhadap peluang pengembangan karier, pembelajaran berkelanjutan, dan kesejahteraan bawahan.

Abstract

Learning theory suggests that the most important is input in the form of stimulus and output in the form of a response. Whereas what happens between stimulus and response is considered not important to note because it cannot be observed, only stimulus and response can be observed. This study uses a library research method to explore literature information about learning theory and learning motivation. The results of the study show that motivation is an important factor that influences student will, process, and learning outcomes. Motivation is formulated as a condition that makes a person have the will to achieve certain goals through the implementation of a task. Someone who is motivated tends to survive and is not easily discouraged in carrying out tasks. Abstract

Based on data analysis, it is concluded that in Nayla, Djenar Mahesa Ayu shows the women’s images in the story. This is proved by critical mapping regarding the focus of the study which is physical images through the character of lead figure in the novel. Therefore it is inferred that Nayla as the main character is affected and dominated by psychological problems that are immersed becoming her character. Attitude and self-consistency are also described as the value of Nayla’s character. Besides, based on feminism analysis identified from Tuhan, Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur (God, Let Me become A Prostitute) by Muhidin M. Dahlan, it is concluded that weak women tend to get the kind of abuses from men. Women who easily get doctrine with fraud pledges will turn to be more hurt and disappoint with their life and reality. Additionally, the disappointments to other people can also turn women to the disappointment to God.

Abstract

The purposes of this research is to describe: Javanese social ethics in the novel Ibu by Poerwadhie Atmodihardjo. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with content analysis method. The result of the analysis is Javanese social ethics in the novel Ibu by Poerwadhie Atmodihardjo are principle of harmony, principle of respect, etiquette, ethics in seeking justice, and profession ethics.

Abstract

This study was an observational research that starts from planning, implementing, and drawing conclusions. The research subjects were people who lived in Tamalatea Village, Makassar City, South Sulawesi, based on Social strata as many as 15 people. Data collection techniques were observation, tapping, fishing line, see, note, and record. All data obtained were analyzed through stages (1) grouping similar data, (2) reading the data as a whole, (3) analyzing data with the method of "intra-lingual and equivalent extra lingual methods", (4) compiling interpretations, and (5) describing data to be a conclusion.The results of the study showed that (1) invective is not acceptable in the form of language communication in general. (2) Invective can be accepted in certain language groups. (3) Invective is used to intimidate, control, reveal disappointment, wonder, personal protection, disrupt, and popularity. (4) There are similarities and differences in the use of invective in each of the social strata of the language community, both based on the form and reference, purpose, and character displayed. (5) Invective psychologically has negative impact on users and recipients.

Abstract

critical in Soekarno's state speech entitled Period of Confrontation: Speech of President Sukarno at the Conference of the Two Non-Aligned Nations in Cairo? As well as any ideologies that accompany it. This research is a descriptive study of Bung Karno's speech delivered in a fiery manner, always filled with messages of national ideology. Through the discourse in each of his speeches, President Soekarno tried to voice resistance to colonialism and arouse fighting spirit to rise. In this study, it will be investigated further with qualitative discourse analysis. The data collection method used in this study is the referral method. The data used in this research is written discourse in the speech delivered by President Sukarno at the Non-Aligned Summit in Cairo. The results of this study through analysis of the structure of micro discourse through 1) lexicon, 2) stylistics, 3) syntax can be concluded that there are several ideologies that Bung Karno wants to convey through his speech. One of them is about real independence. The real independence in question is freedom to carry out political, economic and social affairs in line with the national conceptions of each country, so that there is no interference from other countries. While the other ideology that President Soekarno wanted to carry out was to call on countries in the world to fight imperialism, colonialism, neo-imperialism and neo-imperialism without fear.
