Abstract

This study aims to produce learning tools based on problem learning in google classroom that are valid, practical and effective. This research is a development research carried out with the Plomp development model. The Plomp development model consists of three stages, namely the preliminary research phase, the prototyping phase, and the assessment. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMPN 1 Rambatan. Validation was carried out by experts in mathematics education, educational technology, and the Indonesian language. The practicality of learning devices is seen from the results of observations, interviews, and student practicality questionnaires. The effectiveness of the learning device can be seen from the results of the students' spatial ability test on the KKM The results of the validity data analysis showed that the problem-based learning tools in Google Classroom to improve the spatial ability of the mathematics produced met the valid criteria in terms of content and construction. Practical learning tools in terms of implementation, convenience and processing time. Learning tools have also been effective, as can be seen from the improvement seen in the results of students' spatial ability tests. Based on these results, it can be said that problem-based learning tools in Google Classroom to improve the spatial ability of the mathematics produced can be declared valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh efektivitas pembelajaran daring menggunakan media e-learning terhadap prestasi siswa selama pandemi covid-19 pada mata pelajaran teknologi informasi. Metode penelitian penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi penelitian yakni seluruh peserta didik MTs Ihyaul Ulum yang diajar pada mata pelajaran teknologi informasi menggunakan metode daring. Sampel penelitian yakni peserta didik kelas VII MTs Ihyaul Ulum yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner pembelajaran daring. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan peserta didik menilai pembelajaran teknologi informasi menggunakan media e-learning yaitu baik.

Abstract

The mathematical communication abilities can be defined as students ability in delivering what the students have known through dialugue or interaction that happened in the classroom, this kind of mathematical communication can be happened between teacher and students, books and students, and among students. To improve student communication abilities, lesson plan and worksheet have been made based on genius learning strategy that can create an effective and fun learning processes, also can facilitate students mathematical communication abilities. The research was conducted in order to develop learning tools that have valid, practical and effective characteristics on mathematical communication abilities of eleventh grade students. This research is the development research using the Plomp model, which consists of three stages, namely the preliminary stage, the prototype-making stage and the assessment stage. The learning tools developed are lesson plan and worksheet with Genius Learning strategy in improving students’ mathematical communication abilities for class XI. The instruments used are validation sheets, observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The results showed that: 1) Learning tools that based on Genius Learning strategy in improving students’ mathematical communication abilities have been valid in terms of content and construct. 2) practical because it is easy to be used and understood. 3) From the results of the mathematical communication abilities test, it shows that learning tools based on Genius Learning strategy in improving students’ Mathematical Communication Abilities have been effective to improve mathematical communication abilities according to the results of final test conducted students.

Abstract

A good learning tool is one of the important things to make. This is because the support of learning devices also affects the achievement of a directed learning process so that mathematics learning is also achieved, such as solving mathematical problems. The ability to solve mathematical problems is expected to develop well in each student. Based on this, it is necessary to develop guided discovery-based learning tools to improve students' problem-solving skills. The research was conducted with the aim of knowing the characteristics of guided discovery-based learning that are valid, practical and effective to improve the problem-solving abilities of eighth grade students of SMP/MTs. This type of research is using the Plomp model, which consists of three stages, namely the preliminary stage, the prototype stage and the assessment stage. The instruments in this study were validation sheets, observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews and tests. The results showed that the learning tools in the form of RPP and LKPD based on guided discovery for class VIII SMP/MTs were valid, practical, and effective. The validity of the RPP reached 79% and LKPD 80.2%. While the practicality of the lesson plans is 77.6% and LKPD 90.5%. In addition, the effectiveness of the two products to improve problem solving skills is 83.87%.

Abstract

21st century education aims to improve students' scientific literacy skills. The results of the PISA study show that the scientific literacy of Indonesian students is in the low category. The low scientific literacy of students is caused by several factors in the education system, such as the curriculum, teachers, and students themselves. This study aims to describe the scientific literacy ability of Class IX.A students of MTs Negeri 1 West Lampung and the factors that influence it. Information about scientific literacy skills is important to know in order to provide appropriate solutions to the problems faced, especially in the field of scientific literacy. This research is a descriptive research with a combination method (mixed method). The research sample was 28 students who were taken by cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used were scientific literacy test questions and interview guide sheets. The data analysis technique was carried out by giving a score for each student's answer then interpreted into the value and category of scientific literacy achievement and analyzing the results of the interview. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the average value of scientific literacy for Class IX.A students at MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Barat is 36.19 with a low category. The low scientific literacy ability of these students is influenced by several factors, namely low interest in reading, evaluation tools that have not led to the development of scientific literacy, lack of teacher knowledge about scientific literacy, and teaching materials that are able to develop scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahan ajar maupun media pembelajaran yang tepat dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran sehingga dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir, hasil belajar peserta didik dan penguasaan materi bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi pesegi panjang untuk kelas VIII SMP/MTs yang valid, praktis dan untuk mengetahui efek potensial e-modul terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan teori Sugiyono yang memiliki 10 tahapan yaitu (1) Identifikasi potensi dan masalah, (2) Pengumpulan data, (3) Desain produk, (4) Validasi desain, (5) Revisi desain, (6) Ujicoba skala kecil, (7) Revisi produk, (8) Ujicoba skala besar, (9) Revisi produk, dan (10) Produksi massal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket validasi, angket respon peserta didik dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan valid, penilaian kevalidan terlihat dari hasil validasi oleh expert review (validator) berdasarkan aspek kelayakan kegrafikan, aspek kelayakan bahasa dan aspek kelayakan penyajian dengan hasil penilaian kevalidan sebesar 92,3%. E-modul juga dinyatakan sangat praktis berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik dengan persentase sebesar 87,2% untuk kelompok kecil (small group), dan e-modul dikatakan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan persentase sebesar 86,25%. Jadi pengembangan e-modul berdasarkan tahap pengembangan Sugiyono dinyatakan valid, praktis dan mempunyai efek potensial sehingga produk layak digunakan di dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Mathematics is a learning science that can improve students' ability to solve a problem in Junior High School (SMP). However, many students still make mistakes when working on the questions. This article aims to describe a problem experienced by students when working on questions based on the Kastolan stages. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that uses data collection techniques, namely written tests and field notes. The subject of the research is to find students of class VIII SMP. the results of his research illustrate that there are three types of problems experienced by students when working on questions based on the Kastolan stages, namely, (1) conceptual errors, there are 46% of students who make this error; (2) procedural errors, 28% of students made this error; and (3) technical errors, there are 26% of students who make mistakes

Abstract

Mathematical literacy ability is defined as a person's ability to formulate, apply and interpret mathematics in various contexts, including the ability to reason mathematically and use concepts, procedures, and facts to describe, explain or predict phenomena/events. The purpose of this study was to describe the profile of the mathematical literacy ability of seventh grade students of SMP N 1 Batanghari, East Lampung on the material of triangles and quadrilaterals. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 28 students of class VII. Based on the data and analysis of the results of the study, it was found that the percentage of questions at level 1 students were able to solve problems using routine procedures and direct questions in the fairly good category. While the questions at level 2 and level 3 are still not good. The results of interviews with several students related to problem solving who made mistakes due to the difficulty of understanding the problem from the information provided without understanding the meaning and information of what was known.

Abstract

Abad 21 berpusat pada perkembangan Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang mengedepankan pengetahuan sebagai tombak utama. Mengasah keterampilan melalui pembiasaan diri dan pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup dalam berbagai macam hal yang didasari oleh pengetahuan. Kemampuan literasi kimia merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang penting untuk dimiliki oleh calon pendidik di era moderen saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kemampuan literasi kimia berdasarkan tingkat soal yang diberikan menggunakan instrumen tes yang sesuai dengan menggunakan pemodelan Rasch. Berdasarkan data kemampuan literasi kimia peserta didik kelas XI di SMA N 6 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA di SMA N 6 Bandar Lampung berjumlah 69 terdiri dari dengan cara simple random sampling.Hasil data penelitian dan pembhasan diperoleh simpulan bahwa kemampuan literasi kimia peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA N 6 Bandar Lampung masih mendominasi pada kategori tingkat sedang dengan jumlah 36 peserta didik sedangkan untuk kategori soal tinggi dengan jumlah 14 peserta didik dan kategori soal rendah dengan jumlah 19 peserta didik dengan demikian kemampuan literasi kimia peserta didik kelas XI SMA N 6 Bandar Lampung pada materi larutan penyangga masih rendah.

Abstract

Today's technology is an important instrument in the learning process. The development of ICT is very broad, therefore it needs to be utilized as much as possible. Educational technology tools, namely multimedia, are a combination of several media that are used as supporting tools in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of interactive multimedia in learning mathematics to improve student learning outcomes for class VIII at SMP Negeri 3 Mesuji. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with Group Pretest-Postets Control Design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Mesuji, totaling 62 students divided into three study groups. The sample in this study was class VIII.A totaling 32 students who were used as the experimental class and class VIII.B totaling 30 students who were used as the control class. Based on the results and discussion, it is concluded that the role of interactive multimedia in mathematics learning for class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Mesuji is effective to be applied in the learning process that can improve student learning outcomes
