Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' written communicative competence in solving key problems of SPLDV in everyday life. This study uses descriptive qualitative research. These data are determined by testing. Subjects in this study consisted of her three undergraduates from UTS results. The three students were made up of representatives of high, middle and low ability students. In addition, students are given test questions supported by the SOLO taxonomy of SPLDV materials, which are analyzed according to indicators of mathematical communicative competence. The bottom line is that students with good math skills are able to give correct and correct answers, but have not yet reached the level of extended abstraction. A student with moderate writing ability can demonstrate the correct procedure, but still has problems using and processing the information, so the answers are wrong and only reach the polystructural level. Students with low mathematics ability do not solve problems, only part of the problem is presented, so they only reach the monostructural level and most of the answers are wrong.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk pengembangan media pembelajaran vlog berbasis kearifan lokal materi kegunaan dan siklus air yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada model 4D yang terdiri atas 4 tahap, yaitu define, design, development dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa V di salah satu Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kota Palembang. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari angket validitas, angket respon siswa, angket respon guru serta tes hasil belajar IPA. Kriteria validitas didapatkan dari validator yang menilai dari tampilan media, penyajian materi dan pengunaan bahasa, Untuk kriteria kepraktisan didapatkan dari angket respon siswa dan angket respon guru. Sedangkan, kriteria keefektifan didapat dari tes hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan angket validasi dari tim ahli diperoleh skor persentase 92,1% dengan kategori sangat valid. Angket kepraktisan keseluruhan siswa diperoleh skor persentase 94,14% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan angket kepraktisan keseluruhan guru diperoleh skor persentase 91,6% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil keefektifan keseluruhan siswa memperoleh skor 88% yang diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar IPA materi kegunaan dan siklus air dengan kategori sangat efektif. Dengan demikian, hasil yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti bahwa vlog yang telah dikembangkan sudah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan numerasi siswa dalam materi geometri dan pengukuran ditinjau dari gaya kognitif reflektif dan impulsif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 7 Jember. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes MFFT, tes numerasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan numerasi siswa reflektif adalah (1) siswa tinggi sudah menuliskan semua indikator numerasi dengan baik dan benar, (2) siswa sedang sudah menuliskan indikator numerasi dengan baik dan benar, dikarenakan siswa tidak memaparkan konsep penyelesaian matematikanya dengan baik sehingga hasil yang dikerjakan kurang tepat, (3) siswa rendah  tidak dapat menuliskan semua indikator numerasi, penyelesaian yang dipaparkan siswa salah sehingga hasilnya kurang tepat. Untuk kemampuan numerasi siswa impulsif adalah (1) siswa tinggi sudah menuliskan semua indikator numerasi dengan baik dan benar, walaupun ada 1 penyelesaian yang kurang tepat, (2) siswa sedang sudah menuliskan indikator numerasi dengan baik dan benar, serta hasil yang dipaparkan siswa benar dan ada juga yang salah, (3) siswa rendah tidak dapat menuliskan semua indikator numerasi, penyelesaian yang dipaparkan siswa salah sehingga hasilnya kurang tepat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain didaktis pada materi sifat-sifat persegi panjang. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan temuan learning obstacles (LO) dan analisis terhadap learning trajectory siswa dalam mempelajari sifat-sifat persegi panjang dikelas III SD Negeri 10 Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian desain didaktis (didactical design research) dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu a) Analisis Prosfektif, b) Analisis Metapedadidaktik, dan c) Analisis Retrosfektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa LO yang dialami siswa pada materi sifat-sifat persegi panjang yaitu siswa kurang menguasai materi prasyarat, siswa masih ada yang belum mengenal bentuk bangun datar, siswa tidak bisa membedakan bangun datar persegi dengan persegi panjang, siswa belum bisa menentukan sifat-sifat bangun datar persegi panjang. HLT disusun berdasarkan LO yang dialami siswa yaitu: 1) mengenal dan menentukan bentuk bangun datar pada benda-benda konket, 2) membedakan bangun datar persegi dengan persegi panjang, 3) mengidentifikasi dan menentukan sifat-sifat persegi panjang pada gambar. Desain didaktis diimplementasikan dan diperoleh hasil tes identifikasi akhir dan mengalami penurunan LO dibandingkan pada saat tes diagnostik awal. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dilakukan revisi terhadap desain didaktis hipotetik dan diperoleh desain didaktis revisi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' mathematics problem-solving abilities based on Polya's procedure. This may improve the math problem-solving abilities of Class VIII SMP YALC Pasuruan students. Research data were obtained from the analysis of student answer sheets, observation sheets, and student activity sheets based on indicators of problem-solving ability. This type of study has a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test design. A t-test was performed to check for improvements in each aspect of student problem-solving skills and all aspects of math problem-solving skills. The main finding of this study is that students' problem-solving ability in mathematics based on Polya's procedure outperforms students' problem-solving ability with regular learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an evaluation tool for learning mathematics to measure the mathematical reasoning abilities of high school students. The type of development applied is related to the model developed by Thiagarajan. The study population consists of four schools in Pasuruan City. The sample of this research was class XII SMA YALC Pasuruan. Data collection techniques used mathematical reasoning instruments about three-dimensional material consisting of three descriptive questions. Data analysis uses validity, reliability, discriminatory power and difficulty. The results of this study indicate that the assessment tool measures the mathematical reasoning abilities of high school students which are well developed and feasible so that they can be used.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is not optimal because of limited learning media. Most teachers only rely on manual materials and exercises that are too strict. The purpose of this research is to create an audiovisual learning media based on the Canva application for class XII learning. This type of research is media development based on the four-D development model. Due to the limitations of researchers, the development of this media has only reached the development stage. The subjects of this study were 2 media experts, 2 material experts, 2 practitioners and 25 students. Data collection methods in this study are observation methods, interview methods, and questionnaire methods. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using the average formula to obtain an average efficacy score. As a result, the audiovisual media based on the Canva application on the topic "Distance point to point" achieved a relevance score of 4.53 for content experts and 4.65 for media experts

Abstract

In this study, the researcher made preliminary observations on students of class XI IPA at MAN 2 Malang City, there were still students who had low learning motivation in participating in mathematics. It can be seen from the mid-semester learning outcomes, namely around 37% of student learning outcomes under the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The purpose of this study was to explore students' motivation in mathematics in geometry material. The research was conducted at MAN Malang City. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA at MAN 2 Malang City, totaling 226 students consisting of 8 classes. Sampling was done by simple random sampling, the number of samples was 150 students. The instrument used was the questionnaire method, the measurement scale used in this questionnaire instrument was a Likert scale with a checklist form (√). Based on this research data, it was found that the objective indicator of intrinsic orientation obtained a score of 3.68% in the good category. Meanwhile, indicators of extrinsic motivation are categorized as good with a percentage of 3.72%. The task score indicator is categorized as good with a score of 3.80%. Trust control indicators for learning to get 3.50% are categorized as good. The self-confidence indicator with a score of 3.57% indicates good criteria. The last indicator of anxiety when the test scores 3.32% indicates good criteria. By having high learning motivation, students will be able to overcome their anxiety when approaching exams as a challenge that must be faced to achieve success

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low ability of children in beginning mathematics and to find out whether the discovery learning model has an effect on the initial math skills of group B children in RA Adabiyah Lais, Musi Banyuasin district. This type of research is Pre-Experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest design (one group of subjects). The number of samples of children is 15 children. Data collection techniques in research using pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used in this study uses the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results of the study can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the discovery learning model and beginner mathematics. obtained tcount = 6.363 while ttable = 1.76131 because tcount = 3.363 > ttable = 1.76131. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected, then Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a statistically significant difference in the initial mathematical ability of the children in group B RA Adabiyah Lais before and after being treated using the discovery learning model.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pengaruh Video Pembelajaran Terhadap Pemahaman Geometri Anak Kelompok B di RA Al Mumtaazah Desa Pedamaran VI Kecamatan Pedamaran OKI, dengan variabel independent video pembelajaran dan variabel dependent pemahaman geometri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi-Eksperimental Design, dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif Nonequivalent Control Grup Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 anak kelas B1 dan B2 di RA Al Mumtaazah Desa Pedamaran VI. Kelompok eksperimen menggunakan media video pembelajaran dan kelompok kontrol menggunakan media yang ada didalam kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas, uji realibilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenititas, uji hipotesis t test. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat bahwa adanya perbedaan nilai rata-rata setelah diterapkan media yang didesain dari aplikasi canva dimana nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 73 sedangkan kelompok kontrol 60, kemudian dengan perhitungan uji t dimana nilai ttabel untuk taraf signifikansi 5% sebesar 2,074. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai thitung > ttabel karena thitung > ttabel (5,975 > 2,048), maka kesimpulannya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya ada pengaruh Video Pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman geometri anak kelompok B di RA Al Mumtaazah Desa Pedamaran VI Kecamatan Pedamaran OKI tahun ajaran 2022/2023
