Breastfeeding mothers are one of the groups that are included in the nutritionally vulnerable group because breast milk is the main source that babies get from the mother. Therefore, mothers who are breastfeeding must pay attention to the nutritional intake they consume. Breast milk production is greatly influenced by the food the mother eats, even though a mother's regular and nutritious diet is very necessary to influence breast milk production, because the breastfeeding glands cannot work perfectly without sufficient food. To produce good breast milk production, the mother's diet must contain sufficient calories, protein, fat and vitamins and minerals. This research aims to determine the effect of kajauma (date nut) pudding on the production of postpartum women in Bone Bolango district. The type of research used was pre-testing with a pretest posttest control group design for 30 respondents. In this design there are two groups selected at random, one group is given green bean pudding and the second group is given kajauma (green date bean) pudding. From the difference in average breast milk production before and after the treatment, the biggest change in breast milk production was in the treatment group with kajauma pudding. The Independent T-Test obtained p=0.006 (0.05), and the paired T Test carried out on changes in the two groups obtained p=0.000 (0.05), so it can be concluded that the 2 treatment groups with kajauma pudding had an effect. which is better for breast milk production than treatment with green bean pudding.

Endometriosis is a gynaecological disorder characterised by the presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. It affects approximately 10-15% of females of reproductive age. Oxidative stress has been identified as a significant contributing factor to the development and progression of endometriosis. In this study, we investigated the effect of green tea extract on the endometriotic implant area and serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels in a rat model of endometriosis. Twenty-six female Balb/c rats were randomly divided into the experimental group (EG) and the control group (CG). All subjects in the EG received green tea extract (3 mg daily) for 14 days. On the fourteenth day, endometriosis was induced in all subjects (both EG and CG). The endometriotic implant area and serum SOD levels were assessed 14 days after induction. The endometriotic implant area in the green tea extract-treated group was significantly lower than that in the control group (p=0.022, RR=0.455, 95% CI=0.065-0.96). Serum SOD levels in the EG and CG were 5.33±0.52 ng/ml and 5.20±0.91 ng/ml, respectively (p=0.507). Green tea extract effectively inhibited the progression of endometriotic implants and increased serum SOD levels in the endometriosis-induced rat model. These findings suggest that the anti-angiogenic and antioxidant properties of green tea may have therapeutic potential in managing endometriosis.

Hypertension in pregnancy, particularly preeclampsia, remains a significant health issue due to its potential risks to maternal and fetal health. Despite advances in medical management, there is a need for complementary interventions to address this condition effectively. This study investigates the impact of Acupressure and Foot Hydrotherapy interventions utilizing red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) on reducing blood pressure in pregnant women with preeclampsia at the Kembaran I Health Center. The study employs a quantitative experimental design involving 15 pregnant women diagnosed with preeclampsia. Participants were selected through non-probability sampling based on inclusion criteria: gestational age of ≥20 weeks and Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) ˃90 mmHg. Blood pressure was measured using a digital sphygmomanometer before and after the intervention, while an observation sheet recorded the systolic, diastolic, and MAP values. Data analysis was conducted using Paired Samples Correlations and paired sample t-tests to assess the intervention's effectiveness. Results reveal that Acupressure combined with Foot Hydrotherapy using red ginger significantly reduces blood pressure in preeclamptic women. This is evidenced by the t-test value exceeding the critical t-table value at a 5% significance level and degrees of freedom ( ), specifically 2.145. Additionally, the analysis demonstrates a high correlation between pre- and post-intervention blood pressure parameters, indicating consistent effectiveness of the therapy. This research underscores the potential of integrating complementary interventions, such as Acupressure and Foot Hydrotherapy with red ginger, into maternal healthcare protocols to manage preeclampsia and improve maternal outcomes. Further studies with larger samples are recommended to validate these findings and explore broader applications.
