Abstract

Tarekat Asy-Syahadatain was established in Panguragan, Cirebon, West Java in 1947. It, then, expanded to Central Java. In most cases, tarekat was established in the Middle East and then spreaded to Nusantara. Asy-Syahadatain was founded by Habib Umar, firstly as a religious congregation (pengajian) which later on developed into a tarekat. The name was taken from its teachings which focused on the implementation of syahadat in daily life. This article employed a library research method. The results are the specificity of this tariqa to recite syahadat, shalawat tunjina, and to wear white clothes during canonical prayers and supplementary prayers. AbstrakTarekat Asy-Syahadatain tumbuh di Panguragan, Cirebon, Jawa Barat tahun 1947 hingga kini berkembang di Jawa Tengah. Lazimnya, tarekat tumbuh di Timur Tengah dan berkembang hingga di Nusantara. Tarekat ini dideklarasikan oleh Habib Umar yang awalnya mendirikan kelompok pengajian syahadatain hingga nama ini diabadikan menjadi nama tarekat. Penamaan syahadatain karena mendalami makna kata syahadat dan diwujudkan dalam perilaku. Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode library research. Hasil dari penelitian didapat bahwa, Kekhasan tarekat ini yaitu mentradisikan membaca syahadatain, membaca salawat tunjina, dan berpakaian serba putih (surban dan sejenisnya) bagi perempuan dan lelaki tatkala salat maktubah dan salat sunah.

Abstract

Divorce due to apostasy causes child custody issues, is religion or the welfare of the child a priority? This study is a qualitative normative legal research with a juridical approach and a case approach. Primary data in this study are seven decisions of the Religious Courts regarding divorce by apostate parents and the determination of child custody. This paper focuses on examining (1) judges' considerations in determining custody of children in divorce due to apostasy, (2) patterns of granting custody of children in divorce due to apostasy. This research results in (1) The judge considers the conditions of the parties with three priority conditions for determining child custody, namely Islam, morals, and the ability to care for children. (2) the pattern of granting custody of children in divorce due to apostasy is (a) Islam becomes a priority requirement in determining child custody (b) if Islamic requirements are not met, then the moral requirements and the ability to care for the benefit of the child will be prioritized. The panel of judges will analyze the conditions of both parents to determine what is best for the child, even though custody is given to the apostate parent.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out the contextualization of the critical ideology of Ali Syari'ati in the field of Islamic education. This paper uses a qualitative approach by gathering various literature on Ali Syari'ati's critical thinking, then analyzing it in the context of national education in Indonesia. The results of the study show that: first, education must be able to free humans from all forms of colonialism. second: the aim of critical education is to create an independent person and become a social prophet (rushan fekr) whose duty is to bring the people towards the desired ideals together, namely social welfare, free from acts of tyranny and misery of the people. third: making enlightened students that they are able to get out of four social prisons which include nature, history, society and human ego. In the context of Islamic education in Indonesia it can be realized by shaping students to be highly critical, independent and socially conscious individuals.Keywords: critical education; Ali Shari'ati; independent; social awareness; human ego; Islamic education; Indonesia; AbstrakTulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  kontekstualisasi ideologi kritis Ali Syari’ati dibidang pendidikan Islam. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan berbagai literatur mengenai pemikiran kritis Ali Syari’ati, kemudian dianalisis dalam konteks pendidikan Nasional di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pertama, Pendidikan harus dapat membebaskan manusia dari semua bentuk penjajahan. kedua: tujuan pendidikan kritis adalah untuk mewujudkan pribadi yang merdeka dan menjadi nabi sosial (rushan fekr) yang bertugas untuk membawa umat menuju cita-cita yang diinginkan bersama, yaitu kesejahteraan sosial, terbebas dari tindak kezaliman dan kesengsaraan umat. ketiga: menjadikan siswa yang tercerahkan yaitu mereka mampu keluar dari empat penjara sosial yang meliputi  sifat dasar, sejarah, masyarakat, dan ego manusia. Dalam konteks pendidikan Islam di Indoenesia bisa diwujudkan dengan membentuk anak didik menjadi pribadi yang kritis, independen dan berkesadaran sosial yang tinggi.Kata Kunci:  pendidikan kritis; Ali Syari’ati; independen; kesadaran social; ego manusia; pendidikan Islam; Indonesia

Abstract

The rejection of Shia movement in Indonesia is a new discourse. Shia presence in Indonesia has been since the early arrival of Islam. But why the Shia resistance movement emerging in the early 21st century? I argue that the Arab spring is the biggest trigger is related to the rise of anti-Shia movements in Indonesia. This paper will explore the relationship between the Arab spring and its influence on the anti-Shia in Indonesia, including the emergence of a national-level organization called ANNAS, or Aliansi Nasional Anti Syiah (Anti-Shia National Alliance), which was declared on August 20, 2014. It aims to increase public awareness to the issue of anti-Shia and avoid potential conflicts which cause separations and threaten national stability as happened in the Arab countries that are currently happening provocations by parties who have interests and hidden agendas on them. Indonesia as a country that refer to Pancasila should be prepared for the issues that triggered the disintegration of the nation.

Abstract

Da’wah of social empowerment is the real action in order to make the improvements. Historically, da’wah in the form of social empowerment based on mosque has been portrayed by the Prophet in the Nabawi Mosque Madinah. Muhammad saw. has successfully repaired and changed the conditions of the Medina people into a new powerfull society. Forms of empowerment included empowering spiritual aspect, social (of unity and equality), education, economics, politics and defense. The steps in empowerment, was to grow and to build the spiritual potential of Tawheed communities, providing access to (social institutions) building a mosque, made peace agreement with the various parties, established markets around the mosque, formed and trained defense forces, and togetherness.Dakwah pemberdayaan masyarakar merupakan gerakan dakwah yang bersifat tindakan nyata, guna mewujudkan perubahan. Secara historis, dakwah dalam bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis masjid telah diperankan oleh Rasulullah saw. di Masjid Nabawi Madinah. Nabi telah mampu memperbaiki dan mengubah kondisi masyarakat Madinah dan sekitarnya menjadi sebuah masyarakat baru yang maju dari semua sisi. Bentuk pemberdayaan yang dilakukan meliputi pemberdayaan dalam aspek spiritual, aspek sosial (persatuan dan kesetaraan), pendidikan, ekonomi, politik dan pertahanan. Adapun langkah yang ditempuh dalam melakukan pemberdayaan, adalah menumbuhkan dan mem­bangun potensi spiritual Tauhid masyarakat, menyediakan akses (pra­nata sosial) dengan: membangun masjid, membuat perjanjian damai dengan berbagai pihak, mendirikan pasar di sekitar masjid, membentuk dan melatih pasukan pertahanan, dan kebersamaan.

Abstract

This study concluded that polygamy practiced by some Muslims did not have adequate syar'i arguments and were not in accordance with the principles of social justice outlined in the Qur'an. Whereas the arguments that have been used by classical scholars only constitute the justification of the verses of the Qur'an to synchronize classical culture with gender bias. The verses of polygamy in essence contain the rules of justice in treating orphans and not for the legality of polygamy in Islam.

Abstract

Halal food is the most important thing to be considered by the Indonesian Muslim community. Halal food must be free from pork contents both as a basic ingredient and in the manufacturing process. Halal issues arise when there is a process of mixing meat or lard (adulteration) in halal animal meat for economic purposes. This research is a literature study that aims to examine the development of research on methods of detection of pig content in food products to ensure a food product is free from pig content and its derivatives. The method used is the study of literature in the form of journal articles, proceedings, conferences, online news and official sites that have relationships or keywords related to the method of pig content detection. The assessment results show that the detection methods that can be used are PDK (Pork Detection Kit) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) analysis methods to detect pig protein. RT-PCR (Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction) and digital PCR duplex droplet methods for detecting pig DNA. Gas chromatography (GC) methods, UV-Vis spectroscopy and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR spectroscopy) for analysis of lard. The digital PCR (dddPCR) duplex droplet method has a very specific ability to detect pork content in processed food products compared to other methods. The dddPCR detection and quantification system is suitable for quality control and routine analysis of meat products. This can be taken into consideration for the development of research methods to detect pork content in processed food products that are more effective and efficient in the future.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out the character of Islam Nusantara, as a manifestation of the existence of moderate Islam that was taught by the Walisongo and religious figures to this day. The historical phenomenology is employed to understand Islam Nusantara. The results of this research showed that Islam in Nusantara has five special characters. First, Islam Nusantara is always in accordance with their contexts. Second, it has a tolerant attitude towards differences. Third, it appreciates traditions that have long existed before. Fourth, it has a progresive attitude towards the progress of time. Fifth, it emancipates. AbstrakTulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakter Islam Nusantara,sebagai wujud adanya adanya Islam moderat yang diajarkan oleh para Walisongo dan tokoh-tokoh agama hingga saat ini. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan historis fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Islam di Nusantara memiliki lima karekter. Pertama, Islam Nusantara selalu sesuai dengan konteks zaman. Kedua, ia mengambil sikap toleran terhadap perbedaan. Ketiga, ia menghargai tradisi yang telah lama ada sebelumnya. Keempat, ia bersikap progresif terhadap kemajuan zaman. Kelima, ia membebaskan.

Abstract

Based on BWI’s data, the potential for wakaf money in Indonesia reaches at least IDR 180 trillion (www.gomuslim.co.id, 2017) per year. But in reality, the assets of large waqf funds are not necessarily linear with the level of welfare of the Muslim community in Indonesia. In addition, it is necessary to revitalize the endowment of money to revive its vital role. One way is to collaborate between Sukuk and money waqf agreements. The Waqf Linked Sukuk (WLS) can be seen as an ongoing financing instrument that Islam is trying to help maintain the ratio of public spending from, for and by the people. Furthermore, WLS can be an important innovation for economic sustainability, especially to finance micro-communities without interest rates. Whereas the WLS contract needs to be reviewed in favor of the public benefit from the perspective of maqashid shari'ah. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used in this study are literature, documentation and interview methods. In analyzing the data that has been collected, researchers will use descriptive-analytical analysis with the ushuliyah approach. The results of this study are waqf and sukuk which consist of 2 different product orientations, namely Tabarru and Tijaroh, which are transformed and correlated in an effort to realize greater benefit value. The legal basis for allowing this WLS product is Q.S. Al-Maidah verse 1, Q.S. al-Isra 'verse 34, Q.S. Al-Baqarah verse 275, the hadith of the Prophet, fiqh rules are "basically, all muamalah is permitted unless there is an argument that forbids it", fiqh rules "should not endanger yourself or others, basically, all forms of muamalah may be done unless there is an argument which is prohibited forbid it ", the statement of DSN-MUI Number B-109 / DSN-MUI / II / 2019 concerning the Statement of Shari'ah Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk and the principle of" an act (regulation) of the government, having the core guaranteed the interests and welfare of its people ". The WLS product when viewed from the perspective of the shariah maqashid is very much in accordance with the six elements of the maqashid shariah.Keywords: cash waqf, sukuk, the maqashid shari’ah. AbstrakBerdasarkan penghitungan BWI, potensi wakaf uang di Indonesia setidaknya mencapai Rp 180 triliun (www.gomuslim.co.id, 2017) per tahun. Namun kenyataannya, aset wakaf uang yang besar ternyata belum tentu linier dengan tingkat kesejahteraan bagi komunitas Muslim di Indonesia. Selain itu, perlu revitalisasi wakaf uang guna menghidupkan kembali peran vitalnya. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan mengkolaborasikan antara Sukuk dan akad wakaf uang. Wakaf Linked Sukuk (WLS) dapat dipandang sebagai instrumen pembiayaan berkesinambungan yang coba diajukan oleh Islam guna membantu mempertahankan rasio belanja publik dari, untuk dan oleh rakyat. Lebih lanjut, WLS bisa menjadi inovasi penting untuk keberlanjutan ekonomi, khususnya untuk membiayai masyarakat mikro tanpa suku bunga. Padahal akad WLS perlu ditinjau keberpihakannya pada kemaslahatan publik dari perspektif maqashid syari’ah. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode literature, dokumentasi dan interview. Dalam menganalisis data yang telah terkumpul, peneliti akan menggunakan analisis deskriptif-analitis dengan pendekatan ushuliyah. Adapun hasil penelitian ini ialah wakaf dan sukuk yang terdiri atas 2 orientasi produk yang berbeda yaitu akad tabarru dan tijaroh, yang ditransformasikan dan dikorelasikan dalam upaya mewujudkan nilai kemaslahatan yang lebih besar. Adapun landasan hukum diperbolehkannya produk WLS ini ialah Q.S. Al-Maidah ayat 1, Q.S. al-Isra’ ayat 34, Q.S. Al-Baqarah ayat 275, hadis Nabi, kaidah fikih yang “pada dasarnya, semua muamalah diperbolehkan kecuali ada dalil yang mengharamkannya”, kaidah fikih “tidak boleh membahayakan diri sendiri maupun orang lain, pada dasarnya, semua bentuk muamalah boleh dilakukan kecuali ada dalil yang mengharamkannya”, pernyataan DSN-MUI Nomor B-109/DSN-MUI/II/2019 tentang Pernyataan Keselarasan Syari’ah Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk serta kaidah “suatu tindakan (peraturan) pemerintah, berintikan terjaminnya kepentingan dan kemaslahatan rakyatnya”. Produk WLS bila ditinjau dari perspektif maqashid syari’ah amatlah sesuai dengan keenam unsur maqashid syari’ah.Kata Kunci: wakaf uang, sukuk, maqashid syari’ah

Abstract

Muhajirin and Anshar were the mesangger’s sahabat whom God praised of eminence to Rasulullah saw. who positioned them high as they were the elements of ahlus sunnah wal jamaah. If believers want to get the safety position in the day after or in the future, they should follow Muhajirin and Anshar beside Rasullah saw.. For those reasons understanding the frame of diversity is very necessary for us. Based on the historical report, Muhajirin and Anshar were not only the speculative concept but the real fact of history. Their empirical practice of religiosity was completely based on their implementation of Islamic preaching in a concrete space and time. From this empirical based we can see or find the fundamental frame of their future or eminence. It consists of the ability to adjust the preaching of religion in coordinate space and time. The theoretical frame from the eminence and future is shown in the technical religiosity they did.* * *Muhajirin dan Anshar adalah kelompok sahabat yang memperoleh pujian keutamaan dari Allah swt.. Rasulullah Saw. juga menempatkannya pada posisi sangat tinggi karena merupakan unsur ahl as-sunnah wa al-jama’ah sebagai firqah an-najiyyah. Apabila orang beriman di kemudian hari ingin memperoleh keselamatan serupa maka harus mengikuti Muhajirin dan Anshar di samping Rasulullah saw.. Oleh karena itu, memahami kerangka keberagamaan mereka sangat diperlukan. Berdasar atas laporan sejarah, Muhajirin dan Anshar bukan semata-mata konsep spekulatif semata akan tetapi merupakan kenyataan sejarah. Basis empiris praktik keberagamaan mereka sepenuhnya didasarkan pada pelaksanaan ajaran agama Islam dalam ruang waktu yang konkret. Di dalam basis empiris tersebut dapat ditemukan kerangka dasar keutamaan mereka. Kelebihan tersebut terdiri atas kemampuan untuk menyesuaikan praktik ajaran agama dengan koordinat ruang waktu di sekitarnya. Rumusan teoritis kelebihan tersebut terletak pada teknik keberagamaan yang mereka lakukan.
