Abstract

This study aims to represent the phenomenon of school principals’ leadership strategies in enhancing collaborative organizational behavior among all school members at SMK Negeri 1 Amandraya. A phenomenological research design was employed using in-depth interviews and observations conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Amandraya. The participants consisted of ten teachers with more than five years of work experience at the school, selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using narrative analysis, supported by data triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings indicate that the principal implemented three main strategies: (1) a digital managerial strategy through the optimization of platforms such as WhatsApp, Google Classroom, the school’s e-learning system, and virtual meetings for coordination; (2) an open communication strategy that promotes cross-functional collaboration through digital work groups; and (3) a collaborative culture-building strategy, characterized by habitual sharing of best practices and performance reflection via digital media. Collaborative organizational behavior was reflected in increased work motivation, more effective communication, and reduced internal conflict due to improved information transparency. The results further demonstrate that digital platform utilization strengthens collaborative work culture and enhances the quality of data-driven decision-making. This study recommends the implementation of continuous digital training, the development of standard operating procedures for digital collaboration, and the optimization of a platform-based work ecosystem to improve school organizational performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the need for a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model integrated with interactive digital media Liveworksheet in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subjects in 4th grade elementary school. The background of this research is the importance of learning that connects material with students' real-world context, as well as utilizing IT as a more engaging, efficient, and interactive Student Worksheet (LKPD). The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted thru interviews using Google Forms with 12 fourth-grade teachers in West Bandung. The results of the study indicate that the liveworksheet-assisted CTL model is highly needed by fourth-grade elementary school teachers. The majority of teachers (58%) experienced difficulties in designing student worksheets for the IPAS subject integrated with the CTL model. Although 67% of teachers have used Liveworksheets before, and 100% of teachers know that Liveworksheets can help provide automatic assessment, 100% of respondents stated that they need guidance, examples, and special training in developing a CTL model assisted by Liveworksheets. 92% of teachers agree that the CTL model assisted by Liveworksheets can increase student engagement in the classroom for IPAS subjects. However, there are still obstacles due to the limited availability of devices (laptops/computers/internet) in schools, with 50% being adequate and 50% being inadequate. This analysis is expected to serve as a benchmark for designing more effective and interactive teaching materials for the IPAS subject in 4th-grade elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of the Picture and Picture learning model assisted by the Enuma and Wordwall application and to assess the level of feasibility and practicality based on expert validation and user responses, and the effect of its application on students' learning interest in first grade elementary school. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall stages which include ten product development steps. The research subjects consisted of two first grade classes at SD IT Insan Kamil and Bina Insan Cendekia as the experimental and control classes with a pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques included reading ability tests, learning interest questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Statistical analyses were determined based on normality testing results, with parametric tests applied to normally distributed data and nonparametric alternatives used otherwise. This approach ensured methodological rigor and strengthened the validity of the findings and N-Gain calculations. The findings of this study indicate that the developed learning model has been assessed as very feasible and practical through validation by experts and practitioners. The application of the Picture and Picture model assisted by Enuma and Wordwall can significantly improve students’ early reading ability, as reflected in the significant difference in posttest scores between groups, although the N-Gain improvement between classes was not statistically significant (Sig=0.216). Furthermore, students' learning interest also increased descriptively, reaching the moderate category. Thus, this learning model has proven effective as an innovative alternative for improving early literacy in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an program as a core curricular component in Islamic elementary schools, focusing on its learning processes and contributions to character and religious education. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study seeks to understand how Tahfidz learning is structured, implemented, and experienced within everyday instructional practices at the primary education level. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with Tahfidz teachers and school leaders, and analysis of curriculum documents and learning records. The findings indicate that the Tahfidz program is institutionally embedded within the school curriculum and consistently implemented across grade levels with learning targets adjusted to students’ developmental stages. The learning process is characterized by structured routines, repetitive memorization practices, intensive teacher–student interaction, and the integration of adab and discipline into daily learning activities. In addition to memorization outcomes, the program contributes to the development of positive learning habits, self-discipline, and sustained spiritual engagement among students. However, the evaluation of Tahfidz learning remains largely outcome-oriented, with limited emphasis on systematically documenting learning processes. Overall, the study highlights the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an program as a holistic educational approach that integrates cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions of learning from an early age, while emphasizing the importance of strengthening formative and process-oriented evaluation practices to enhance its effectiveness.
