Abstract

Many factors influence the mathematics learning outcomes that students get. Parent's attention, learning interest, and learning discipline are factors related to mathematics learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the presence or absence of positive and significant relationships between parent's attention, learning interest, and learning discipline with mathematics learning outcomes of students class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Godean District Sleman in even semester academic year of 2016/2017. The population in this study were all students of class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Godean District Sleman in the even semester academic year of 2016/2017, which consists of 5 classes with some 172 students. The random sampling technique used to get the class sample and collected class VII B as a sample. Data were collected by questionnaire method and test method. Test instruments used validity and reliability testing. Prerequisite test analysis using normality test, independence test, and linearity test. Analysis of data using simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis and correlation. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between parent's attention, learning interest, and learning discipline with mathematics learning outcomes of students class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Godean District Sleman in even semester academic year of 2016/2017. It showed by  or 2,95 > 2,93 with , and the multiple regression equation is , RC X1 = 29,39%, RC X2 = 46,99%, RC X3 = 23,62%, EC X1 = 6,87%, EC X2 = 10,99%, and EC X3 = 5,52%.

Abstract

Module limitation is one of the problems that affect the achievement of learning. The existing teaching materials are still challenging to understand. Teaching materials that can help students learn actively and independently are modules. This study aims to develop, test the feasibility of teaching materials in the form of modules, and know the student's response to mathematics materials equations and linear inequality one variable based on creativity. This type of research is research development. The development procedure steps are potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, product testing, product revision, and trial usage. Research subjects were material experts, media experts, and student response in SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Pleret and Junior High School (SMP), Muhammadiyah Sanden. This research object is the subject matter of Mathematics Material of Numerical Material for VII Student Based on Creativity. Data collection techniques in this study are by using questionnaires.  The results showed that the average material scores 77 were good, the average media scores 81.33 with the excellent category, and the average student response rating of 74.73 with the good category. Based on these calculations' results, the mathematical material in the form of modules developed possible use in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Based on information from SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta, low numerical abilities, lack of parental attention and low student learning interest. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between numerical ability, parental attention and interest in learning with mathematics learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta even semester 2015/2016 academic year. The population in this study were all regular VII grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta even semester 2015/2016 academic year as many as 5 classes. Class VII C was taken as the research sample class with a random sampling technique for the class. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and test techniques. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire for variables of parental attention and variables of interest in learning while the research instruments were in the form of tests for numerical ability variables and mathematics learning outcomes variables. Test of research instruments used validity tests, different power tests, and reliability tests. Analysis prerequisite test includes a normality test, independent test and linearity test. Data analysis for hypothesis testing using product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between (1) the numerical skills with mathematics learning outcomes, with r = 0.4176780979; (2) The parent's attention  with mathematics learning outcomes, with r = 0.4826111448; (3) interest in learning with mathematics learning outcomes, with r = 0.2873655253; (4) The numerical skills and parents attention with math learning outcomes, with R = 0.5921931342; (5) The numerical skills and interest in learning with mathematics learning outcomes, with R = 0.4314264425; (6) The parents attention and interest in learning with mathematics learning outcomes with R = 0.5623422638; (7) The numerical skills, parents attention and interest in learning with mathematics learning outcomes, with R = 0.609887925 and the linear regression equation Y = -14.81581646 + 0.2860704335 + 0.7994211603 + 0.2860704335 . Large donations are relatively  = 30.35,  = 56.92% and  = 12.73% and the effective contribution  = 11.29%, = 21.17% and = 4.73%.

Abstract

Low student achievement is closely related to many factors, one of which is parents' attention and learning independence on the learning achievement. This study aimed to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between parents' attention and learning independence on mathematics learning achievement in grade VII students at State Islamic Junior High School (MTs Negeri) 6 Kulon Progo in the academic year 2019/2020. The population in this study were students of grade VII at MTs Negeri 6 Kulon Progo in the academic year 2019/2020, consisting of classes VII A, VII B, VII C, and VII D with a total of 128 students. The sample was taken from class VII A as a research sample and carried out by a purposive sampling technique. The researcher used a questionnaire method to collect data on parents' attention and learning independence. At the same time, the test method was used to determine mathematics learning achievement. Research instruments include validity tests, different power tests, and reliability tests. Requirements analysis includes a normality test, linearity test, and independence test. The researcher used product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis to analyze data. The results showed a positive and significant relationship of parents' attention and learning independence on the mathematics learning achievement in Grade VII students at MTs Negeri 6 Kulon Progo in the academic year 2019/2020. This was indicated by  which was 8.48355> 3.32765 with R = 0.60754 and =0.36911 with RC  = 31.85638%, RC = 68.14361% and EC = 11.75863 %, EC  = 25.15276%.

Abstract

Middle school math learning has many diverse issues, including the lack of school facilities and students' interest in learning mathematics courses, which are still low. This study aims to develop media-based interactive multimedia learning math using Adobe Flash CS6 and determine the feasibility of the learning media. This study using ADDIE development research. Subject trials in the development of instructional media consists of the validation test subjects and subjects of research. Subject of validation that media expert lecturers and subject matter experts Ahmad Dahlan University and teacher of mathematics majors of class XI IPA at SMAN 2 Banguntapan. The subjects were students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Banguntapan. These data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Analysis of data using qualitative data analysis is then converted into quantitative. As for the success criteria set out in this research is the minimum feasibility of the product is on the value of Agreed. Product development based on the development of mathematical learning media interactive multimedia using Adobe Flash CS6 on the subject of the enumeration rules High School Class XI Science majors are declared eligible to be used as a medium of learning based on assessment questionnaire with an average score 40.72727273 with the agreed categories. Based on these assessments, the multimedia learning of mathematics is fit for use as a medium of learning.

Abstract

Mathematics lessons involving students are suspected as one of the causes of the lack of students' mathematical communication skills. The researcher aims to improve the skills of nonverbal communication mathematics students of class VII B State Junior High School 9 Yogyakarta (SMP Negeri 9 Yogyakarta) by implementing Problem Based Learning (PBL). The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research is the students of class VII B SMP Negeri 9 Yogyakarta academic year 2016/2017 with the number of students 34 people. At the same time, the object in this research is the whole process of applying Problem Based Learning (PBL). Data collection techniques are done through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The Instrument of data collection in the form of observation sheet, the result of the problem-solving of nonverbal communication skills of student mathematics, and the result of the interview. The subject of this research is a student of class VII B SMP Negeri 9 Yogyakarta academic year 2016/2017 with student number 34 people. At the same time, the object in this research is the whole process of applying Problem Based Learning (PBL). Data collection techniques are done through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The Instrument of data collection in the form of the observation sheet results in the completion of the problem of nonverbal communication skill exercise of student mathematics and interview result. The results of this research show that applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) can improve students' mathematical nonverbal communication skills. The improvement of students' mathematical nonverbal communication skills is derived from the average score of significant exercise improvement with the percentage of 65,32% in cycle I increased to a very high category with 86,90% percentage in cycle II.

Abstract

Poor student learning outcomes are associated with many factors. The relationship between self-confidence, social interaction, and learning activeness is possibly related to learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the presence or absence of a positive and significant relationship between self-confidence, social interaction, and learning activeness. Mathematics Learning Outcomes in Students Class VII of State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 9 Yogyakarta in Even Semester in Academic Year of 2016/2017. The population in this research was the students of VII of SMP Negeri 9 Yogyakarta in the academic year of2016/2017, consisted of class  VIIA, VIIB, VIIC, VIID, VIIE, VIIF, totaling 203 students. Samples were taken from VII C as the research sample class and with the random sampling technique. The writer uses the questionnaire method to collect self-confidence, social interaction, and learning activeness and test method to get the resulting math results. The research instrument: validity test, different power test, and reliability test. Test requirement analysis includes normality, the test of linearity, and the test of independence. The writer uses product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis to analyze the data. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between self-confidence, social interaction, and learning activeness with mathematics learning outcomes in students class VII of SMP Negeri 9 Yogyakarta in Even Semester in Academic Year of 2016/2017. Abstract

This research is implementable because of the low intellectual ability and communication of the students in learning mathematics. The objective of this research is to try to increase the intellectual ability and communication of VII grade students in semester II of SMP Negeri 2 Binangun Cilacap in the academic year 2015/2016 using Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) method. This research is a Classroom Action Research which consists of two-cycle, where each cycle consists of two meetings. The subject of this research is the students of VII B in the second semester of SMP Negeri 2 Binangun Cilacap in the academic year 2015/2016 which consists, 32 students, there are 16 male students and 16 female students. The object of this research is the intellectual ability and communication using the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) learning process. The data accumulation technic used observation, interview, test, triangulation, documentation, and field notes. The data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of the research showed that the mathematics learning using Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) method was able to increase the intellectual ability and communication of VII grade students in semester II of SMP Negeri 2 Binangun Cilacap. The result of the observation assessment sheet in cycle I the percentage of intellectual ability belonged to the good category (67,88%) and the percentage of communication ability belonged to the fair category (58,59%). In cycle II, the percentage of the intellectual ability belonged to a very good category (87,97%) and the percentage of the communication ability was belonged good category (75,78%).

Abstract

The teacher still does learning so that it has not allowed students to develop independence through finding and thought processes. Therefore, critical thinking becomes very less. The purpose of this study is to find out the values of students' critical thinking learning using the PBL learning model and direct learning model and compare the effectiveness of PBL learning model and direct learning model to critical thinking skills of students of Class VII of State Junior High School 3 Kasihan (SMP Negeri 3 Kasihan) Bantul in Academic Year of 2017/2018. The population of this study is all of the students of class VII. The samples were taken by using a random sampling technique. As the experiment class was Class VII and as the control class was Class VII A. The data collecting of this study using the essay test. The data collecting instrument of this study by using the validity test and reliability test. The data analysis technique used a prerequisite analysis test. There are normality test and homogeneity test, and hypothesis test using a t-test. The result of a significant level of 5% and df =60 showed that: (1) there was a different ability between students' critical thinking, which used the PBL learning model with a direct learning model. The value of  = 2,682884 shows it>  = 2,0003 and (2) the PBL learning model more effective than the direct learning model toward students' critical thinking ability. This research showed that the  = 2,682884 >  = 1,6706.

Abstract

Banyak faktor yang berhubungan dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Kemampuan penalaran matematika, kedisiplinan belajar, dan perhatian orang tua merupakan beberapa faktor yang diduga berhubungan dengan hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan  untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara kemampuan penalaran matematika, kedisiplinan belajar, dan perhatian orang tua dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII Semester Genap SMP Negeri 05 Kepil Kabupaten Wonosobo Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 05 Kepil Kabupaten Wonosobo Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari 4 kelas, yaitu kelas VIIA, VIIB, VIIC, dan VIID dengan jumlah seluruh siswa sebanyak 83 siswa. Terpilih sebagai kelas sempelnya kelas VIIA dan VIID yang terdiri dari 42 siswa, dengan menggunakan teknik (random sampling). Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode tes untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematika dan hasil belajar matematika siswa, metode angket untuk memperoleh kedisiplinan belajar dan perhatian orang tua. Untuk uji instrument menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan daya beda. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan uji prasyarat analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji independensi dan uji linieritas. Analisis data untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment dan analisis regresi linier ganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan penalaran matematika, kedisiplinan belajar, dan perhatian orang tua dengan hasil belajar dengan . Koefisien korelasi ganda  sebesar 0,436 dan persamaan regresi   besar sumbangan relatif  variabel X  sebesar 45,6939551%, sumbangan relatif (SR) variabel X2 sebesar 38,14042013% dan sumbangan relatif  variabel X3 sebesar  16,16562477% dengan koefisien determinasi gandanya 0,190 serta sumbangan efektif  variabel X  sebesar 8,715087304%, sumbangan efektif (SE) variabel X2 7,274421542% dan sumbangan efektif  variabel X3 sebesar 3,083226894%. Kata Kunci     : kemampuan penalaran matematika, kedisiplinan belajar dan perhatian orang tua.
