JURUSAN FARMASI UDAYANA berdiri sejak 25 Mei 2005. This study aims to determine the morphological character of white, red and black rice as a differentiator ofrice varieties. This research uses 10 rice samples which are 6 local rice of Kupang, 2 varieties of local superior riceand 2 Italian rice. The method used is direct observation of both qualitative and quantitative characteristics of rice.Long grain size of rice is a character that can indicate the distinguishing of local rice, domestic superior and ricefrom abroad. Character of rice morphology is a character very easily observed in knowing the difference of ricevarieties. Character of rice morphology are easily characters observed in knowing the difference of rice varieties.Characters difference can be used to determine the adulteration of rice mixed.

Each year there are about 1300 cases per year of violence against children and women. Services for domestic violence and violence against women and children served by the Integrated Service Center section or known as PPT in RS Bhayangkara through Emergency room, and treated by general practitioners who works 24 hours a day. Considering the availability of forensic specialists in Riau province currently only two people, so it is not possible to serve all cases of forensic medicine like RS. Bhayangkara Soekamto or RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo through unit Integrated Crisis Center or also knowns as PKT, in which all cases are handled by a forensic medicine specialist forensics. Particular clinical forensic services for domestic violence and sexual violence against women in RS Bhayangkara TK IV generally been handled for the people who need it though remains to be done continuously.

The aim of this research was to amplificate 18S rRNA gene fragment from honey’s metagenomic DNA using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). The honey sample was collected from Seraya Tengah village, Karangasem regency. The best result of primer design from in silico test was continued to in vitro test using PCR method. The optimum conditions for amplification was obtained as follows: pre-denaturation at 95oC for 3 minutes and continued with 30 of amplification cycle (denaturation at 95°C for 1 minutes, annealing at 55°C for 1 minutes and elongation at 72°C for 1 minutes) and the last step continued with extension process at 72°C for 2 minutes. The size of DNA fragment band of amplified product was about 100 bp which obtained from the honey’s metagenomic DNA.

In Islam, bioethical decision-making is carried out within a framework of values derived from the revelation andtradition. Islamic bioethics or Islamic medical ethics are referring to Islamic guidance on ethics and moral issuesrelated to medical and scientific fields, especially those dealing with human, based from the Quran and Hadith. In Islam, human is one of the most sacred creatures of God. Therefore, he/she must be appreciated, respected andwell protected. Apparently, Muslim doctors have always been facing dilemmas on bioethical decision makingduring their practices. There are so many conflicting issues coming from multiple points of views such asdiscipline, legal, ethical, sharia, social, cultural and financial aspects. Muslim doctors should answer thedilemmas on each diagnosis and treatment intervention by having a good decision making as their first step. Byimplementing Islamic framework on bioethical decision making, guided by sharia which includes Quran,Hadith, Ijma, and Qiyas, it is expected that this framework will be able to assist Moslem doctors to solve theirdilemmas in this world and in the hereafter. A triangulation framework known as islamic bioethics consisting oftriangle I and triangle II will ease Moslem doctors to have the final decision for their daily medical practices. These triangle framework will be powerfull in use if combined with Prima Facie approach and a five-digitapproach.

Rape drugs are drugs that are sometimes used for sexual abuse such as rape. Rape drug that is often misused in cases of rape is flunitrazepam or better known as "rohypnol". Flunitrazepam is the benzodiazepine class of compounds, flunitrazepam effect varies depending on the dose administered, the resulting effects ranging from sedation to coma stage four. In reviewing this article we will summarize the cases of misuse of flunitrazepam in Indonesia, pathways for the synthesis of flunitrazepam, pharmacological effects, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of flunitrazepam and forensic toxicology analysis in cases of abuse of flunitrazepam compounds.

The TLC chromatogram peak pattern reproducibility of the contained D capsule was carried out. The pH and time extraction was varied. The extracted substances were spotted on the Al TLC SiGF254 plate, than it was eluted with TB mobile phase (cyclohexane: toluene: diethylamine 75:15:10 v/v). The extraction methods were liquid-liquid extraction with extraction time variation (15 minute, 30 minute, 45 minute and 60 minute) and solid phase extraction with pH variation (pH 10, pH 11 and pH 12). The extraction time influenced the TLC peak pattern. The substances were optimal extracted after 30 minutes extraction. There was no variation in the peak pattern after 30 minutes extraction. The pH value variation did not affected the peak pattern reproducibility.

At this moment composite resin is the most widely used material for dental restoration. The content of the resin is a mixture of monomer bisphenol A glycidyl methacrylate (Bis-GMA), trimethylene glycol dimethylmethacrylate (TEGDMA) and urethane dimethacrylate (UDMA) and special particle fillers made of radioopaque glass. Many studies have been conducted to study the biocompatibility of composite resin, especially the cytotoxicity and genotoxicity test. Genotoxicity tests that are often carried out are comet test for DNA damage protection and micronuclei test for protection of genome damage. The monomer content of composite resins can have a genotoxic effect.

The procedural and cost need for drumstick neutrophyl test as we know is more simple and cheap just than amelogenin DNA test. A few researches show the function of drumstick neutrophyl test and amelogenin DNA test forgender determination especially for live human. But still now there is no researches explain the validity of drumstick neutrophyl test than amelogenin gen by DNA-PCR to determine someone’s gender. This research isto find out the validity of live human’s gender determination, between drumstick neutrophyl test method and amelogenin DNA test method. This research used diagnostic test, with expected sensitifity is 90%. Twenty six blood sample which appropriate with the criteria was analyzed by drumstick neutrophyl test method and amelogenin DNA test method for their gender determination.Statistical analysis was done by two twice two table to determine sensitivity, spesificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, positive likelihood ratio and negative likelihood ratio. The sensitifity of drumstick neutrophyl test method than amelogenin DNA test method is 83,33%, the spesifity is 71,43%, the positive predictive value is 71,43%, the negative predictive value is 83,33%, positive likelihood ratio is 2,9167, and the negative likelihood ratio is 0,233375.
