Abstract

This article presents a good practice of a multicultural education concept in Medan City, which is known as a multicultural city. This study uses an ethnographic approach. Research findings include that at the Iskandar Muda School there are all students from various ethnicities, religions, and economies who can carry out an egalitarian education. Furthermore, the idea of multiculturalism appears in the physical form of the Iskandar Muda school which has houses of worship from various religions, there are mosques, churches, temples and temples that are built permanently and side by side and are located within the school environment. Then there is also a joint class, where students from different religions: Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism and Confucianism become one when studying religion. In this joint class, each teacher explains the material that is delivered together and with shared material, for example, the material of affection. All religions teach love. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of student management on student achievement at MTs 16 Perbaungan. As for the indicators for student management variables include student admissions, student council, and extracurricular, while indicators for student achievement variables include cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects. This study uses a quantitative approach using primary data through questionnaires. The results of the tests that have been carried out show that the distribution of scores in the student management variable (X) average class as many as 14 people (17.07%) are below the class average, 4 people (4.88%) are in the class average and as many as 64 people (78.5) above the average. The distribution of Student Achievement variable scores (Y) as many as 20 people (24.39%) are below the interval class average, 6 people (7.32%) are in the interval class average and 54 people (65.8%) are above the average . Shows that the correlation coefficient between the Student Management variable (X) and Student Achievement (Y) is 0.129 with a coefficient of determination (r2) obtained from the calculation results of 0.017 which means that Student Management (X) provides a low relationship of 0.017x 100% = 1.7% of Student Achievement (Y). Based on the analysis conducted above, it is known that the proposed hypothesis is accepted and has been tested empirically. The results of the hypothesis analysis show that there is a very weak and significant influence between Student Management (X) and Student Achievement (Y) of 0.129 with a coefficient of determination (r2) obtained from the calculation results of 0.017 which means that Student Management (X) has an influence very weak at 0.017 x 100% = 1.7% towards Student Achievement (Y). Furthermore, to determine the significance of the influence of the two (Student Management on Student Achievement) it can be seen through the t test". Through the t-test that has been carried out, it turns out that tcount = 3,004 while the value of t table = 2,028. Because tcount (3.004) > ttable (2.048), this indicates that there is a low but significant effect between Student Management variables on Student Achievement in the form of a linear relationship through the regression line = 76.296 + 0.017 X. The equation of this regression line explains that if If the Student Management factor increases by one unit, the Student Achievement will also increase by 76.296 + (0.017) = 10,747 units.Student Achievement

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The work culture of teachers at MAS Al-Washliyah Negeri Lama, Kec. District Downstream Labuhanbatu, (2) Discipline of teachers at MAS Al-Washliyah Negeri Lama, Kec. District Downstream Labuhanbatu, (3) Supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing Work Culture in improving teacher discipline at MAS Al-Washliyah Negeri Lama, Kec. District Downstream Labuhanbatu. The method used in this research is qualitative to understand the phenomenology experienced by the research subjects in the form of observations, interviews and documentation with an emphasis on information data sources, namely: principals, teachers, and school committees to strengthen the validity of the data obtained. From the results of this study using 3 findings, namely: (1) The work culture of teachers at MAS Al-Washliyah Negeri Lama, Kec. District Downstream Labuhanbatu culture has communicated smoothly between teachers and principals. the work culture applied at MAS Al-Washliyah has been going well, and its implementation can be beneficial for both teachers and students, (2) Discipline of teachers at MAS Al-Washliyah Negeri Lama, Kec. District Downstream Labuhanbatu good discipline means that employees and teachers are aware and willing to do all their duties well. The principal realizes that the essence of leadership lies in a clear relationship between the leader, who is led and understands leadership as an activity to achieve group goals, (3) Supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of Work Culture in improving teacher discipline at MAS Al-Washliyah Negeri Lama, Kec. . Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to see the effectiveness of the principal's leadership in improving teacher performance at MAS YPI Batang Kuis. This research was conducted at MAS YPI Batang Kuis. The research was conducted on December 22, 2021. The subject of this research is the school owner who acts as a leader at MAS YPI Batang Kuis. The data collection technique is by interview. The results of this study are: (1). The leadership behavior at MAS YPI Batang Quiz in teacher performance management is to always provide direction to teacher activities and student activities at school, provide motivation to teachers in carrying out learning at school, always communicate well with all teachers at school, be disciplined and firm in every decision making at school, and Creating a family relationship at school both to teachers, students and other staff. (2). The influence on teacher performance in schools can be seen from four aspects, namely discipline aspects, religious aspects, cooperation aspects, leadership aspects. (3). Abstract

This researcher aims to determine: (1) the principal's work program planning on teacher performance at SMP-IT Nurul Ilmi, (2) the principal's efforts to implement the principal's work program on teacher performance at SMP-IT Nurul Ilmi, (3) implementation barriers Principal's work program on teacher performance at SMP-IT Nurul Ilmi.The method used in this study is qualitative using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation with an emphasis on information data sources, namely: school principals, vice principals, administration, and English teachers to strengthen the validity of the data obtained. Abstract

This study was conducted to reveal final school examination policy during the covid-19 pandemic, the research method used was qualitative. the results of the research in the form of implementing the end of semester/school exams are not effective and efficient to be done online, because there are several obstacles, especially in terms of monitoring students during the exam, even though this is the only way the government must take for the learning process to take place during this covid 19 pandemic. Abstract

Keterampilan dasar mengajar bagi guru diperlukan agar guru dapat melaksanakan perannya dalam mengelolah proses pembelajaran, sehingga pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan efektif dan efesien. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. 1) Persiapan mengajar yang dilakukan terdiri dari tiga bentuk yaitu persiapan pembelajaran berupa membuat silabus, RPP, prota, prosem, media pembelajaran dan sumber belajar, persiapan fisik dan dan persiapan mental. 3) Impelementasi keterampilan dasar mengajar guru melalui bertanya dan menjawab dapat meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik secara penuh dalam proses pembelajaran dan memudahkan guru dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran yang telah dilakukannya. 4) Implikasi keterampilan dasar guru menjadikan proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan efektif, karena semua siswa secara antusias merasa nyaman dan memberikan respon yang positif dalam setiap proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The existence of Islamic education in Indonesia is a fact that has been going on for a very long time and has become popular in the community. During the Dutch colonial period and the Japanese population, education was organized by the community itself by establishing Islamic boarding schools, schools and other places for training. After independence, Islamic education with the characteristics of madrasas and pesantren began to get attention and guidance from the government of the Republic in Indonesia. In the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, UUDRI No. 20 of 2002, and UUDRI No. 13 of 2014 and then implemented in the national education curriculum. Abstract

The discussion of inclusive education has become a serious concern for researchers, education observers and education practitioners. However, several studies that have been conducted show that this is less positive for the practice of inclusive education in some educational institutions. This is because inclusive education policies have not been comprehensively understood by stakeholders and leaders of an educational institution. Therefore, the discussion of this article aims to construct education and inclusive education policies that are able to protect the right to education. This research was conducted through the use of library data sources and the use of policy documents such as draft policies and regulations related to inclusive education. The study in this article finds the fact that inclusive education policies do not yet have a strong commitment and fluency in discussing regulations and implementing inclusive education policies in every educational institution. Although on the one hand the right to education has actually been guaranteed by law and the mandate of the establishment of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Inclusive education is education that is disability-friendly and anti-discrimination. Thus, this spirit becomes the basis and relevance for guaranteeing the right to education for every community. The conclusion of this article is that education is a right for every citizen that must be provided and guaranteed by the state. Therefore, inclusive education policies that are binding must be published and controlled by government authorities in their implementation in every educational institution

Abstract

Keberhasilan pelaksanaan sistem tata pamong yang baik dipengaruhi oleh pemimpin yang mampu memprediksi masa depan, merumuskan dan mengartikulasi visi yang realistik, kredibel, serta mengkomunikasikan visi ke depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu lembaga melalui pengelolaan tata pamong di MIN 1 Kendal. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah informan dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil penelitia menunjukka bahwa tata pamong MIN 1 Kendal diarahkan untuk menjaga efektifitas, efisiensi, dan produktivitas pewujudan visi, pelaksanaan misi, dan pencapaian tujuan madrasah. Selain itu, juga berprinsip pada 5 nilai budaya kerja Kementerian Agama yaitu integritas, profesionalitas, inovasi, tanggung jawab, dan keteladan. Kepala MIN 1 Kendal dalam melaksanakan kepeimpinannya harus mampu untuk melakukan penilaian atau evaluasi, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian rencana dengan realitas melalui eksplorasi pertanyaan-pertanyaan.
