Abstract

Abstract: The classroom action research implementing reciprocal instructional model by using internet as a learning source on kinetics reaction concept was conducted. The research purposes are to increase learning outcome, affective ability and student respond to the implementation of reciprocal model. The subject research involved class XI of SMAN 1 Banjarmasin. It was found that student’s comprehention increased from 73,85% at first cycle to 94,62% at second cycle, student’s affective ability in a good category and student’s gave a positive respon to the implementation of reciprocal instructional model at teaching and learning process.Key word : Reciprocal teaching, kinetics reaction, internet

Abstract

Abstract. Has done research on learning Probing prompting the hydrocarbon material class X-1 SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin. This study aims to determine (1) the implementation of teacher learning, (2) student activities, (3) improving student learning outcomes, (4) student response. This study used a research design class action (PTK) with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects were students of class X-1 SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin the number of 26 people. The data include the observation of teacher activity, student activity and student response. Data were collected using the learning outcomes achievement test were collected using multiple choice questions each end of the cycle. The results showed that the learning model Probing prompting the teacher can increase the activity of both criteria in the first cycle and very good in the second cycle. Activity increased with the criteria students active in the first cycle became very active in the second cycle. Probing prompting learning model can improve student learning outcomes completeness of the average of 76.92% in the first cycle to 100% in the second cycle or an increase of 23.08%. Abstract

Abstract. Metacognitive skills is one of the determinants of student success in problem solving. The size of the effect of metacognitive skills in problem solving was also effected directly or indirectly by one’s motivation. Component of motivations that also giving the effect in the use of metacognitive skills in problem solving is the students' achievement goal. Achievement goal that became the research in this article was the mastery goal. In order to know the effect of the achievement goal on metacognitive skills in chemical problem solving, then conducted research that related to metacognition and motivation, especially on chemical equilibrium material. The results presented in this article are a part of major reserach using correlational descriptive studies. The population of the research was the students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Banjarmasin, with the sample of the research amounted to 33 students. The research data were collected using essay tests, metacognitive skill questionnaires, SMTSL questionnaires and student interviews. Based on data analysis result with statistical technique of product moment correlation shows that there is a significant positive correlation between student achievement goals with metacognition skills in chemical equilibrium problem solving, with correlation value (r) obtained for +0.516. Students with the achievement goal especially the mastery goal will focus on learning and mastery of learning materials, the use of metacognition and good performance in problem solving.Keywords: effect, achievement goal, metacognitive skills, chemical equilibrium, correlational study.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penerapan model pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL ) pada pembelajaran materi Gaya. Penerapan model CTL diharapkan berdampak positif pada konstruksi pengetahuan siswa sehingga mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Gaya. 2) Meningkatkan aktivitas siswa. 3) Mengoptimalkan aktivitas guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus.Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahapan planning (perencanaan), action (tindakan), observation (pengamatan), dan reflection (refleksi).Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 9 Tanjung yang berjumlah 23 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa  : 1) Lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar yang terdiri dari lember observasi untuk guru dan lembar observasi untuk aktivitas siswa. 2) Tes formatif berupa soal pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1) Penerapan pendekatan kontekstual learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, ketuntasan siswa meningkat dari 43,5% menjadi 85%. 2) Aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 59,4 % menjadi 81,7%. 3) Aktivitas guru meningkat dari kualitas sedang menjadi baik.  Kata kunci: Contextual Teaching and Learning, gaya, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstract. This research aimed  to acknowledge the existence of different misconceptions from students who are in other types of school on electric circuit matters. It is based on researcher’s effort in finding the cause of students’ misconception. This research was an experiment research with data collecting technique of online questionnaire. The sample was students at the age of 16-17 from public school, vocational school, and religious school, taken from population of all students from all those three types of school. Instrument used in this research was multiple choice questions about electric circuit developed by EPSE as many as 20 items. Data analysis technique was done by using Cross Tabulation in SPSS to see the difference of answers given by students based on school type. The result showed that religious school students get the highest misconception (100%) in an item about reading an ammeter in series circuit, public school students get 96.2% misconception in explaining the relationship between electric current and resistance in series circuit, and vocational school students get 86.4% misconception about electric voltage in parallel circuit. From the result, it can be seen that misconceptions owned by students from each type of school are different according to the method used in learning electric circuit in the school.

Abstract

Abstrak .Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin tahun ajaran 2013-2014 pada materi larutan elektrolit nonelektrolit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit nonelektrolit, (2) peningkatan keterampilan proses sains melalui kegiatan praktikum, (3) peningkatan keterampilan psikomotor, dan (4) peningkatan keterampilan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, evaluasi serta analisis dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X-1 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin yang berjumlah 28 orang siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran materi larutan elektrolit nonelektrolit dari siklus I ke siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat sebesar 17,86 % yaitu dari 82,14 % pada siklus I menjadi 100 % pada siklus II, (2) keterampilan proses sains siswa meningkat 14,71 %, yaitu dari 71,34 % (kategori baik) pada siklus I menjadi 86,05% (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II, (3) keterampilan psikomotor meningkat 21,4 % dari 56 % (kategori kurang) menjadi 77,4 % (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II, dan (4) keterampilan sosial meningkat 13,4 % dari 65,91 % (kategori memuaskan) pada siklus I menjadi 79,31 % (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II.Kata kunci : inkuiri terbimbing, keterampilan proses sains, elektrolit nonelektrolit.

Abstract

Pada konsep sistem rangka manusia, siswa SMP Negeri 24 Banjarmasin bermasalah pada proses pembelajaran yaitu pembelajaran kurang bermakna dan siswa tidak dapat memecahkan permasalah nyata pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Di samping itu, siswa mudah bosan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran karena terlalu banyak teori dan hafalan. Permasalahan tersebut mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar. Penelitian bertujuan meningkatkan hasil dan proses pembelajaran konsep sistem kerangka manusia pada siswa SMP Negeri 24 Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan tindakan: pelaksanaan tindakan; observasi dan analisis; serta refleksi. Adapun dalam prosesnya mengkombinasikan model Inkuiri terbimbing, TGT dan Jigsaw. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbaikan kualitas aktivitas guru dari siklus; Aktivitas belajar siswa menunjukkan kualitas baik sampai baik sekali; pada siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil 80,23 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 80 %. Pada pada siklus II nilai rata-rata 98,86 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 100%. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran konsep sistem rangka manusia siswa kelas VIIIF SMP Negeri 24 Banjarmasin menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dengan dicapainya ketuntasan belajar klasikal; Aktivitas guru ada yang turun dan ada yang naik sesuai dengan tuntutan aktivitas guru yang baik; Aktivitas siswa juga ada yang turun dan ada yang naik sesuai dengan tuntutan kemandirian siswa.

Abstract

Abstract. Classroom action research aims to know: (1) the activity of teacher, (2) increasing the students’ activity, (3) improve the learning results of students both in cognitive and affective, (4) the students’ response. This research carried out in two cycles with total six times meeting. Each cycle consists of four stages, they are planning, implementation of action, observation and evaluation and reflection. The subject of this research is all the students of X-5 SMA Negeri 1 Bati-Bati which have 38 students, consists of 18 male students and 20 female students. In collecting data, the researcher used observation, questionnaires and test technique. The results showed that (1) the activities of teacher is very good category with 92%, (2) students’ activity increased from 80% to 93% and included in the excellent category, (3) improved students’ learning outcomes, affective learning outcomes increased from 92% to 100% and the cognitive learning results increased from 71% to 79%, (4) students’ responses to use this model are very positive.Keywords: problem solving, learning outcomes, and classroom action research

Abstract

Abstract: Research has been done about the influence of learning strategy Physical Self-Assessment (PSA) based Joyfull Learning the student learning outcomes at class XI science SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin on material buffer solution the school year 2013/2014. The aims of this research are (1) to know differences in student learning outcomes in strategy of PSA based Joyfull Learning between macromedia flash media, internet media, and conventional learning, and (2) to know students’response toward the strategy of PSA based Joyfull Learning on material of buffer solution. This research uses a quasiexperimental methods with nonequivalent control group design. Population are student of class XI science SMAN 5 Banjarmasin, and sample is class XI IPA 1, XI IPA 2, XI IPA 3 determined by cluster random sampling. Instrument of collecting data are test and questionnaire. Than datas were analyzed by normality test, homogeneity test, Anava 1 Jalur test, and Duncan test. This research show that (1) there are differences in learning outcomes between student at class experiment with PSA strategies based Joyfull Learning and student at class control with conventional learning, (2) Joli test and Duncan test prove that PSA strategies based Joyfull Learning better than conventional learning, (3) N-Gain prove that in learning outcomes student with PSA strategies based Joyfull Learning higher than student with conventional learning, and (4) students gave a positive response to PSA strategies based Joyfull Learning on material of buffer solution.Keywords: Physical Self-Assessment, Joyfull Learning, Buffer solution

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of collaborative learning strategies integrated of multiple intelligences to improve the intelligence of mathematical logic and the comprehension of concepts of experimental class in SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin. The research conducted to the experimental research method through pretest-posttest control group design. Class XI IPA 1 students as experiment group and XI IPA 4 students as control group. The control group used conventional methods, and then the experimental group implemented thru collaborative learning strategy integrated to multiple intelligences. Data collection used test and non-test techniques namely observation and multiple intelligence questionnaires. Data analysis technique used t-test and descriptive analysis. The result showed is that the collaborative learning strategies integrated of multiple intelligence effective to mathematical logic intelligence and concept comprehension of experimental group students compared with control group.Keywords: collaborative, multiple intelligences, mathematical logic,comprehension of concepts, solubility and solubility product.
