Abstract

Perangkat pembelajaran IPA fisika yang digunakan di sekolah selama ini dianggap belum mampu mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dengan model penemuan terbimbing yang memiliki tujuan khusus: (1) Mendeskripsikan validitas perangkat pembelajaran, (2) Mendeskripsikan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP, (3) Mendeskripsikan efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa, dan (4) Mendeskripsikan pencapaian keterampilan berpikir kreatif ditinjau dari tes berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Perangkat yang dikembangkan adalah RPP, LKS, Materi Ajar, THB dan Tes Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik validasi perangkat pembelajaran, pengamatan keterlaksanaan RPP, tes hasil belajar, dan tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan valid dengan kategori sangat baik (2) Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran terlaksana sangat baik (3) Efektifitas perangkat pembelajaran termasuk pada kategori sedang dan (4) Pencapaian keterampilan berpikir kreatif termasuk dalam kategori kreatif. Disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berorientasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif dengan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, keterampilan berpikir kreatif, pembelajaran    penemuan terbimbing ABSTRACT: Physics learning materials that used in school unable to practice students creative thinking skill. Therefore, the development of learning materials by using guided discovery learning’s model has specific purposes: (1) to describe the validity of learning materials, (2) to describe the practicality of learning materials in terms of adherence to the lesson plan, (3) to describe the effectiveness of the learning materials by student’s learning outcome, and (4) to describe the achievement of creative thinking skill by creative thinking skill test. This research is Dick and Carey development model. Learning materials that developed are lesson plans, worksheets, handout, achievement test and creative thinking skill test. Data analysis techniques are validation of learning materials, observation lesson plan, achievement test, and creative thinking skill test. The results showed: (1) Learning materials developed declared valid with the excellent category, (2) The practicality of the learning materials assessed is very well, (3) The effectiveness of the learning materials with the effective/ medium category, and (4) The achievement of the creative thinking skills with creative category. The conclusion the research and development that oriented by creative thinking skills with guided discovery learning’s model is feasible to use in learning.

Abstract

Test form that is given to students allegedly related to cognitive ability. Therefore, conducted aimed research at investigating the effect on cognitive abilities test form students of class XI science SMAN 4 Banjarmasin in subject work and energy. The specific objective of this study are to describe (1) the cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class I drilled essays, (2) cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class II drilled multiple choice, (3) find out whether or not the influence of the use of the test form essay and multiple choice on students cognitive abilities. The study population was all students totaling 104 students with a sample of 57 students. Techniques of data collection through interviews and achievement test. This type of research using quasi-experimental study with the method of analysis used includes validity testing, reliability testing, difficulty level testing, different power testing, requirements analysis testing and ANOVA test (F-test). The results of research that: (1) the cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class I drilled essay mean 60.5912, (2) the cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class II drilled multiple choice means 62.6696, (3) there is the effect of using the form of essays and multiple choice tests to students cognitive abilities. Fratio = 4.6999 > F1:112 = 3.93. Be concluded that there is the effect of the test form to cognitive abilities students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model group investigation dengan strategi Question Studen Have dalam perkuliahan mekanika dan meningkatkan partisipasi mahasiswa selama proses perkuliahan. Efektivitas ditinjau dari peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dan aktivitas dalam perkuliahan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa SI reguler program studi pendidikan fisika FKIP Unsri yang mengikuti mata kuliah mekanika pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Metode penelitian adalah metode penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi ekperiment) dengan desainnya adalah one-group pretest-postest Desain. Alat pengumpul data berupa soal objektif untuk mengetahui penguasaan mahasiswa terhadap meteri yang disampaikan. Partisipasi mahasiswa diperoleh dengan meninjau pertanyaan yang ditulis serta melihat keterlaksanaan strategi Question Student Have dalam perkuliahan.Hasil analisis data diperoleh N-Gain sebesar 0,4 dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa model Group Investigation Dengan  Strategi Question Student Have efektif diterapkan pada perkuliahan mekanika di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Unsri. Partisipasi mahasiswa menunjukan bahwa strategi Question Student Have telah memiliki potensial efek seperti ditunjukan banyaknya pertanyaan tertulis yang disampaikan yaitu rata 30 % pertanyaan selama perlakuan berlangsung.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa disebabkan pembelajaran yang berlangsung tidak berbasis konstruktivis. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan antara pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar dan (2) pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan quasi experimental dengan pretest-pottest control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pada pengujian komparasi thitung = 3,19 > ttabel = 2,64 sehingga ada perbedaan antara pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar dan (2) pada pengujian korelasi rxy = 0,70 dan  thitung = 6,07 > ttabel = 1,69 sehingga pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan latihan berstruktur berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar. Diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan latihan berstruktur berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII MTsN Banjar Selatan 2 Banjarmasin pada materi ajar cahaya.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep Fisika di Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Papua sangat penting untuk mendukung bidang keahlian mereka dalam memahami materi yang lebih kompleks. Mata kuliah Fisika II terdiri dari berbagai macam konsep yang abstrak diantaranya pada materi listrik dan magnet. Penggunaan program komputer seperti media PhET sangat penting guna menjelaskan materi yang abstrak tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hasil belajar mahasiswa setelah diterapkan media PhET dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif yang diawali dengan pembuatan perangkat media dan lembar kerja mahasiswa serta melakukan analisis deskriptif hasil belajar setelah penerapan pembelajaran. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa semester III yang memprogram mata kuliah Fisika II di Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Papua. Instrumen penelitian yaitu tes hasil belajar yang berjumlah 10 nomor soal benar salah dan 5 nomor soal essay. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerapan media PhET efektif digunakan pada materi listrik dan magnet. Rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa yaitu 62 ± SD 18 (kategori baik). Berdasarkan penilaian tanggapan mahasiswa setelah pembelajaran diperoleh bahwa mahasiswa sangat senang belajar dengan menggunakan media PhET. Understanding the physics concept in Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Papua is very important to support their area of expertise in understanding the more complex material. Physics II consists of various abstract concepts such as electrical and magnetic materials. The use of computer programs such as PhET media is essential to explain the theoretical content. The study aims to see student learning outcomes after applied PhET media in learning. The method used was a descriptive method that begins with the manufacture of media tools and worksheets students and performs the descriptive analysis of learning outcomes after the application of learning. The test subject in this research was the third-semester students who program Physics II course in Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Papua. The research instrument was the result of learning test which amounts to 10 numbers of true-false and five essay numbers. The results obtained that the application of PhET media has been used efficiently in electrical and magnetic materials. Average student learning outcomes are 62 ± SD 18 (good). Based on the assessment of student responses after the learning obtained that students are delighted to learn by using PhET media.

Abstract

Preliminary observations on the school declared students' science process skills and ability to perform scientific work in the learning of physics have not been fully implemented. It can be seen from the observations of physics learning activity, interviews with physics teacher and results of student questionnaire. Guided discovery learning is a model of learning to train students in the science process skills and solving academic problem. This study used action research to describe the effectiveness of the application of the guided discovery learning model to improve students' science process skills. This study has shown (1) lesson plan implementation in each cycle is verry good; (2) assessment of students' science process skills increased in each cycle to be categorized verry good at the end of the cycle; (3) improvement learning outcomes student and complete; and (4) student responses is categorized as good. So concluded that the application of the guided discovery learning model in straight motion materials was effective for improving science process skills, at the same time results of learning and scientific attitude of students of class X-A  SMAN 1 Kandangan in 2012-2013.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika pada materi hukum termodinamika. Populasi penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika universitas Jambi angkatan 2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, jadi sampel penelitian ini yaitu seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan fisika universitas Jambi dengan total 91 mahasiswa di angkatan 2017. Indikator keterampilan proses yang diamati meliputi observasi, klasifikasi, membuat hipotesis, hubungan antar variabel, merencanakan percobaan, mengukur, memperoleh dan memproses data, analisis percobaan, komunikasi, serta kesimpulan.  Data keterampilan proses diukur melalui lembar observasi, pada saat praktikan  melakukan kegiatan praktikum hukum termodinamika. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini, keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa fisika bervariasi dari kategori baik seperti observasi42,85%, klasifikasi 36,26%, mengukur 37,36%, analisis percobaan 32,96%, serta merencanakan percobaan 42,85%, kesimpulan 54,94%, membuat hipotesis 51,54%, dan hubungan antar variabel 42,85%. Selanjutnya untuk kategori tidak baik seperti komunikasi 39,56%, serta  memperoleh dan memproses data 45,05%, Hasil ini menunjukkan mahasiswa belum menguasai keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pada beberapa indikator. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya buku panduan pratikum berbasis keterampilan proses untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa melalui kegiatan praktikum.This study aims to describe the science process skills of students in physics education program on the subject matter of thermodynamic law. The population of this study is the students of physics education program at  Jambi University in 2017. The sampling technique using total sampling, so the sample of this study is all students of  physics education  program at Jambi university with a total of 91 students in 2017. The science process skills indicators observed to include observation, classification, hypothesized, relationships between variables, planning experiments, measuring, obtain and process data, experimental analysis, communication, and conclusions. Data science process skills was collected through observation sheets when the  practitioner conducts the practicum thermodynamic law. Data was  analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study, science process skills of physics students varied from good categories such as observation 42.85%, classification 36.26%, measuring 37.36%, experimental analysis 32.96%, and planning experiments 42.85%, conclusions 54, 94%, hypothesized 51.54%, and the relationship between variables was 42.85%. Furthermore, for the bad category such as communication 39.56%, and obtaining and processing 45.05%. These results indicate that students have not mastered the students' science process skills on several indicators. Therefore, it necessary to have a science process skills based practicum guidebook to improve student science process skills through practicum activities.

Abstract

Conventional learning makes students more dependent on teachers, less active students participation in the learning process cause low mastery of  learning results. Therefore, the aim of the research is to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning model Group Investigation type in improving student learning results. In particular, this study aimed to describe: (1) the implementation of the lesson plan, (2) the learning results after implementation of cooperative learning model Group Investigation type, (3) social skills of students, (4) the response of students towards learning. The type of the research is a class action research. This research consist of three cycles, each cycle includes the plan, action/observation, and reflective. Devices and instruments used in this research is the lesson plans, handouts, worksheets, THB, observation sheets of lesson plan implementation, and social skills of students, and student response sheets. Data follected through tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that (1) lesson plan implementation in the first cycle was 76.00%, the second cycle is 84.00% and the third cycle was 99.33%. (2) mastery in the classical student learning results in the first cycle was 63.33%, the second cycle was 80.00%, and the third cycle is 100%. (3) students' social skills for active listening skills have an average percentage of each cycle for 86.67%, 83.33% argued for asking question was 90.83% and 84.16% for active discussion. (4) the general student response was good. In the conclusion, cooperative learning model Group Investigation type effective in improving student learning results in class XI IPA 1 SMAN 4 Banjarmasin  on the subject of static fluida.

Abstract

The low of rational thinking skills of students in learning physics models encourage researchers to carry out Children’s Learning in Science (CLIS). This study aims to determine how the effectiveness of learning by using the model CLIS. The specific aims of research describing: (1) the ability of the teacher to manage the model CLIS, (2) rational thinking skills of students, (3) classical completeness student learning outcomes after participating in learning, (4) students' response to the model CLIS. The study was designed and implemented using classroom action research. The subject of this study is researcher and lecturer, 2 observers and 33 students of grade XI RPL SMK 4 Banjarmasin. The technique uses test data collection, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed an increase in the ability of teachers to manage the model CLIS in cycle I, II, and III respectively by 77.78%, 86.67%, and 94.44% aspects of the rational thinking skills students in cycle I, II, and III in general has increased very well. An increase in mastery learning outcomes classical cycle I, II, and III respectively amounted to 87.87%, 96.97% and 96.97%, CLIS students' response to the model in general is quite good.

Abstract

Siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 10 Banjarmasin memiliki keterampilan proses sains yang masih rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan siswa hanya terbiasa mendapat informasi hanya dari guru sehingga jarang dilatihkan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan proses sainsnya. Untuk itu dilakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang memiliki tujuan khusus: (1) mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan RPP model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, (2) mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains siswa melaui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, dan (3) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan rancangan model Hopkins. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, penilaian, tes dan dokumentasi.  Teknik analisis data berupa deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP mencapai terlaksana sangat baik, (2) keterampilan proses sains siswa meningkat dengan kategori baik, (3) hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 87,10%. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP Negeri 10 Banjarmasin.
