Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the fine motor skills of children with cerebral palsy in class III SLB Campalagian, Polman Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach to determine the effect of using playdough media on improving the fine motor skills of children with cerebral palsy. This study uses an experimental research type in the form of SSR (Single Subject Research) with an A-B-A design. The subject in this study was a grade III cerebral palsy student with the initials SA. The data collection technique used is an action test. The data analysis technique used in this research is a quantitative descriptive analysis which describes the data that has been collected. The results of this study indicate that the fine motor skills of children with cerebral palsy grade III SLB Campalagian Polman Regency have increased through playdough.Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan motorik halus anak cerebral palsy kelas III SLB Negeri Campalagian Kabupaten Polman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media playdough terhadap peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak cerebral palsy. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen berupa SSR (Single Subjek Research)  dengan desain A-B-A. Subjek dalam penelitian ini seorang murid cerebral palsy kelas III berinisial SA. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes perbuatan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif yang mendeskripsikan data yang telah dikumpulkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan motorik halus pada anak cerebral palsy kelas III SLB Negeri Campalagian Kabupaten Polman mengalami peningkatan melalui penggunaan playdough.

Abstract

Vertebrate Animals sub-concept learning involves the characteristics of vertebrates in each class and requires learning materials to overcome students' difficulties. Digital handouts are one of the teaching materials made to facilitate the delivery of material during the learning process, which includes teaching materials, questions, and independent practical instructions that can be used for online and offline learning. This research method uses a quasi-experimental or quasi-experiment to test the effect of using digital handouts on learning outcomes and student responses to the Vertebrate Animal sub-concept. The sampling of this research was carried out by random sampling technique in class X SMAN 4 Banjarmasin, which later became the research sample of 48 students in the experimental class (X MIPA 1) and the control class (X MIPA 2). The learning outcomes data were tested with the SPSS 21 program using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, while the student responses were analyzed descriptively. The research results, namely, student learning outcomes, indicate that the use of digital handouts affects learning outcomes with the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000<0.05. In addition, students' responses to the use of digital handouts received a positive response in classroom learning with an average of 80.57%, which included the category of strongly agree.Pembelajaran sub konsep Hewan Vertebrata melibatkan ciri karakteristik vertebrata pada setiap kelasnya dan memerlukan bahan pembelajaran untuk mengatasi kesulitan peserta didik. Handout digital merupakan salah satu bahan ajar yang dibuat untuk dapat mempermudah penyampaian materi pada saat proses pembelajaran yang memuat materi bahan ajar, soal-soal, dan petunjuk praktikum mandiri yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran secara daring maupun luring. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu atau Quasi Experimen dengan tujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan handout digital terhadap hasil belajar dan respon peserta didik pada sub konsep Hewan Vertebrata. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling di kelas X SMAN 4 Banjarmasin yang kemudian menjadi sampel penelitian sebesar 48 peserta didik kelas eksperimen (X MIPA 1) dan kelas kontrol (X MIPA 2). Data hasil belajar diuji dengan program SPSS 21 menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, sedangkan respon peserta didik dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan handout digital berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000<0,05. Selain itu, respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan handout digital mendapatkan respon yang positif dalam pembelajaran di kelas dengan rata-rata 80,57% yang termasuk kategori sangat setuju.

Abstract

The development of temperature measuring instruments based on the Arduino nano microcontroler as a learning medium for temperature and heat materials aims to determine the feasibility based on the assessment of media experts and material experts and to determine student responses to its use. This study uses a 4D model consisting of data analysis stage, product design stage, product manufacturing stage and product validation and testing stages. This study tested the feasibility of learning media and the concept of temperature and heat by 2 media xpert validators and 1 material expert validator. In addition, this study also looked at student responses from 29 students at SMA Negeri 1 Sepauk, Sintang Regency to the use of learning media developed using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the assessment carried out by the media expert validator, it can be concluded that the temperature measuring instrument based on the Arduino nano microcontroler as a learning medium on temperature and heat material obtained an average score of 89.55% with a very feasible category and the results of the assessment carried out by the material expert validator obtained an average score of 87.5% with a very appropriate category. Student responses to the use of learning media obtained an average score of 90.8% with the category strongly agree.Pengembangan alat ukur suhu berbasis mikrokontroler arduino nano sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi suhu dan kalor bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan berdasarkan penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi serta untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D yang terdiri tahap analisis data, tahap desain produk, tahap pembuatan produk dan tahap validasi dan uji coba produk. Penelitian ini menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran dan kesesuaian konsep materi suhu dan kalor oleh 2 validator ahli media dan 1 validator ahli materi. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga melihat respon siswa dari 29 siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Sepauk Kabupaten Sintang terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan menggunakan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian yang dilakukan oleh validator ahli media dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat ukur suhu berbasis mikrokontroler arduino nano sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi suhu dan kalor diperoleh skor rata-rata 89,55 % dengan kategori sangat layak dan hasil penilaian yang dilakukan oleh validator ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata 87,5 % dengan kategori sangat sesuai. Respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran memperoleh skor rata-rata 90,8 % dengan kategori sangat setuju.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyse the scientific attitude profile of prospective physics teacher students in the Physics Experiment II course for Direct Electric Circuits. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The research subjects are students of the Physics Education Study Program, Sriwijaya University, in the academic year 2021/2022, for the Palembang class. The selection of research samples using a purposive sampling technique for 25 students. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, self-assessment questionnaires, peer-to-peer assessment questionnaires, and unstructured interviews. Each questionnaire contains 25 statements with four answer categories to produce polytomy data. The data analysis technique of this research uses the Rasch model with the help of the Winstep application. The results of the study showed that the scientific attitude of curiosity was 83.33 in very good category; the honest scientific attitude of 58.33 category enough; the scientific attitude of critical thinking is 75.33 good category; the scientific attitude of cooperation is 83.33 very good category; the scientific attitude of the discipline of 100 categories is very good; and a thorough scientific attitude of 100 very good categories. The causes of low honest scientific attitude in students are caused by low self-confidence and errors in understanding and concluding statements.Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis profil sikap ilmiah mahasiswa calon guru fisika pada mata kuliah Praktikum Fisika Dasar II materi Rangkaian Listrik Searah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Sriwijaya tahun akademik 2021/2022 kelas Palembang. Adapun pemilihan sampel penelitian menggunaka teknik purposive sampling kepada 25 orang mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, angket penilaian diri, angket penilaian antar teman, dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Angket masing-masing memuat 25 pernyataan dengan 4 kategori jawaban sehingga menghasilkan data politomi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap ilmiah rasa ingin tahu sebesar 83,33 kategori baik sekali; sikap ilmiah jujur sebesar 58,33 kategori cukup; sikap ilmiah berpikir kritis sebesar 75,33 kategori baik; sikap ilmiah kerjasama sebesar 83,33 kategori baik sekali; sikap ilmiah disiplin sebesar 100 kategori baik sekali; dan sikap ilmiah teliti sebesar 100 kategori baik sekali. Adapun penyebab rendahnya sikap ilmiah jujur pada mahasiswa disebabkan oleh rendahnya percaya diri dan terjadi kekeliruan dalam memahami serta menyimpulkan pernyataan.

Abstract

The problem of low metacognitive skills and student learning outcomes on colloid topics is overcome by implementing Task-Based Learning Direct Instruction (TBLDI) models. This study aims to improve (1) metacognitive skills, (2) learning outcomes aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills, (3) teacher implementation in applying the TBLDI model; (4) student activity. This research was conducted using a classroom action research design in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 33 students of class XI IPA 3 at SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin. Data was collected using valid instruments, metacognition skills tests (V = 0.98), student learning outcomes tests (V = 0.99), and non-tests to determine the process of implementing actions. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study showed that (1) students' metacognitive skills increased from the category starting to develop to be well developed, (2) knowledge learning outcomes increased from the less to the good category, attitudes were in a good category, and skills were also in the skilled category in cycle II, (3) the implementation of the teacher in implementing the TBLDI model is very good, (4) the activity of students increases from being active in cycle I to being very active in cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine teacher and student activities as well as to improve student learning outcomes. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles. This research was conducted in class IV-A of SDN Melayu 2 with 22 students. The data were analyzed qualitatively, namely teacher and student activities, and quantitatively, namely student learning outcomes. The data generated from the instrument sheet, observation sheets and learning outcomes tests were then analyzed using descriptive techniques and described in the form of tables and graphs, then students understood using the criteria for each indicator of the achievement of teacher activities and activities, as well as the achievement of mastery learning and individually classic. The study's findings showed that the teacher's activity in cycle 1 obtained a score of 19 "Good" criteria, increasing in cycle 2 to 22 with "Very Good" criteria. Student activity also increased in cycle 1, obtaining 55% with the criteria of "Enough Active" and increased in cycle 2 to 86% with the "Very Active" criteria. Likewise, student learning outcomes in cycle 1 obtained 64% of students who completed and increased in cycle 2 to 86% of students who completed. Based on the results of this study, there was an increase in teacher activities, students’ activities, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research employed bibliometric analysis which aimed to analyze differentiated learning research trends in the Merdeka Curriculum and visualize them. The database used was Google Scholar. Based on the search results with the keyword "differentiated learning" through Publish or Perish (PoP), 41 articles were obtained and then analyzed into 28 articles based on predetermined criteria. Vosviewer was used to visualize the data obtained. From the results of the analysis, it was found that publications on differentiated learning start from 2020-2023, and the number continues to increase every year. The articles analyzed came from accredited national journals Sinta 3, Sinta 4, Sinta 5, and national journals. In addition, ten authors with the highest number of citations were obtained. The findings of this research show that differentiated learning topics in 2023 and beyond can continue to develop in various fields both in research subjects, subjects, implementation or the influence of differentiated learning on teacher competence.

Abstract

Generic Science Skills (GSS) are the ability to think and act based on the knowledge possessed by individuals. Every human being has generic science skills that need to be developed along with the development of the human brain. This is because generic science skills can be developed in accordance with the development of the level of human thinking. After the COVID-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities experienced changes in the learning process. This resulted in learning originally carried out in the network (online) turning into offline learning (offline). Biology is a science that allows students to discover for themselves the concepts and facts contained in the biology material. Finding concepts in biology requires direct observation of biological objects. This study aimed to describe generic science skills among class X students at SMAN 1 Daha Utara. The research was conducted using a descriptive method. The description of students' generic science skills was obtained from filling out the questionnaire distributed to students. The generic science skills questionnaire used uses aspects that refer to Brotosiswoyo in 2001, which contain direct observation, indirect observation, awareness of scales, symbolic language, a framework of mind obeying the principles of natural law, logical inference, the law of cause and effect, mathematical modeling, and building the concept. This study took the population of all class X students of SMAN 1 Daha Utara. The sample for this study took 98 students randomly from six classes, namely classes X1-X6. This study uses data analysis techniques that are carried out by categorizing test results based on low, medium, and high categories. Based on the results of this study, it appears that students' generic science skills are included in the high category.
Cooperative Script as A Strategy in Optimizing Listening Learning Outcomes of SMA Negeri 1 Mandastana Students Muhammad Nazaruddin

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to determine how effective the cooperative script learning model is in improving students' listening skills in class XI.IPS.2 at SMA Negeri 1 Mandastana. The research participants were 36 students, and the study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle included two face-to-face meetings. The data for this study were acquired utilizing observation sheet instruments, learning accomplishment exams, and student responses to the cooperative script learning model. The data was then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The study's findings indicated that using the cooperative script model enhances learning outcomes and student activities in listening learning. Prior to using this learning model, the class average was 59.43. Following the implementation of this model, actions 1 and 2 cycles I increased to 65.43 and 70.29, respectively. Meanwhile, the class average in action 1 cycle 2 increased to 75.14. According to the student replies, 93% of students enjoyed and felt assisted by this learning paradigm, while just 7% did not feel helped. The study's implications include that the cooperative script learning model can be employed as an alternative to maximize learning outcomes and student activities in listening learning. This learning technique can also boost students' learning reactions and make them more interested in the teaching and learning process. As a result, teachers might think about adopting cooperative script learning models to create effective and efficient learning techniques.

Abstract

Each region of Indonesia has a distinct characteristic that distinguishes it from the others. This distinctiveness has the potential to improve a region's economy. A region's local potential can be introduced through education by integrating local potential into learning, including science learning. In accordance with this, this study was conducted to analyze the concept of science based on the local potential of Kembang Island, to determine how to integrate the local potential of "Kembang Island" into science learning, and to determine the outcomes of the implementation of learning using local potential. The qualitative-descriptive study method was used. The instruments utilized for research were observation sheets and response questionnaires. The results indicate that Kembang Island's ecosystem material contains three scientific concepts: pollution, earth layers, and disasters. The fundamental competencies in the three materials are integrated into a webbed model with the theme "My Environment at Kembang Island Nature Park." The integration of local potential in learning took the form of lesson plans, student worksheets, handouts, and assessment instruments.
