Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of google classroom media on students’ learning outcomes at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The research adopts qualitative method, which examines students’ learning outcomes using google classroom media, where researchers apply the media during learning instruction. Data collection techniques used were students’ learning outcomes, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using interactive models and testing the validity of data using tests of credibility (internal validity), transferability (external validity), dependability (reliability), and cconformability (objectivity). The results showed that the use of google classroom media was effective in improving the students’ learning outcomes of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Therefore, the use of google classroom media can be used as an alternative media in the learning process.Keywords: google classroom media, e-learning, learning outcomes.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efektivitas penggunaan media google clasroom terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kaulitatif, yakni menelaah hasil belajar mahasiswa yang menggunakan media google classroom, di mana peneliti menerapkan media tersebut pada saat pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah hasil belajar mahasiswa, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dan pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan uji credibility (validitas internal), transferability (validitas eksternal), dependability (reliabilitas), dan Confirmability (objektivitas). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media google classroom efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media google classroom dapat dijadikan sebagai media alternative dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: media google classroom, e-learning, hasil belajar.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the integration model of 2013 curriculum and Cambridge curriculum as well as its implementation and the impacts of its integration in elementary schools. Involving an ICP class of Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) elementary laboratory school and a model class of Brawijaya Smart School  elementary school, a qualitative case-study method and a multi cases design were employed in this study. The data were collected  from observations, interviews, and documentations which then analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The result of the study shows that (1) the integration of 2013 curriculum and Cambridge curriculum in the Brawijaya Smart School elementary school uses a model of Sequenced Eye-glasses integration, while a Shared Binoculars Integration model is used in the UM elementary lab school; (2) The implementation of Sequenced Eye-glasses in the model class of the Brawijaya Smart School elementary school is conducted by compiling and teaching the materials from both curricula. Meanwhile, a Shared Binoculars Integration model in UM elementary lab school is implemented through teaching the 2013 curriculum thematically and the Cambridge curriculum separately. (3) The integration of 2013 curriculum and Cambridge curriculum enhances students' abilities in: a) English language; b) reasoning; c) creative thinking; and d) academic achievements.Keywords: integrated curriculum model, 2013 curriculum, Cambridge curriculum.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model integrasi kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum Cambridge beserta implementasinya, dan dampak integrasi tersebut pada sekolah dasar. Melibatkan satu kelas ICP (SD Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang) dan satu kelas model (SD Brawijaya Smart School), pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus dengan rancangan multikasus digunakan pada penelitian ini. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dan kemudian dianalisis dengan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) integrasi kurikulum di kelas Model SD Brawijaya Smart School menggunakan model integrasi Sequenced Eye-glasses, sedangkan model integrasi Shared Binoculars Integration digunakan di kelas ICP SD Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang; (2) Implementasi model Sequenced Eye-glasses dilaksanakan dengan menyusun materi dari dua kurikulum tersebut, dan mengajarkan materi yang berkaitan secara bersamaan. Implementasi model Shared Binoculars Integration dilaksanakan dengan mengajarkan Kurikulum 2013 secara tematik dan Kurikulum Cambridge secara terpisah. (3) Integrasi kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum Cambridge dapat meningkatkan a) kemampuan berbahasa Inggris; b) kemampuan dalam bernalar; c) kemampuan berpikir kreatif; dan d) prestasi akademik.Kata kunci: model integrasi kurikulum, kurikulum 2013, kurikulum Cambridge.

Abstract

AbstractThe industrial era 4.0 has an impact on all aspects of life, including the aspect of education. This makes the stakeholder of education who initially puts forward cognitive aspects in the purpose of education, turns to strengthen the potentials and characters of children. One of alternatives that arises is contextualizing the Qur'an early on to the child. This article aims to study the learning activities of the tahfidh and tahsin programs applied at MI Nurul Ummah. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the living Qur'an effort at MI Nurul Ummah as a model of Islam basic education in the era of industry 4.0 is implemented. This study used a qualitative approach with two settings of activities, including the application of the tahfidh program and the tahsin al-Qur'an at MI Nurul Ummah. To get the required data relating to the focus of the research, observations, interviews, and documentation were conducted. Furthermore, data analysis is done through data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that living qur'an efforts have been carried out at MI Nurul Ummah and can be considered as a model of basic education in the era of industry 4.0. This can be seen from the development and strengthening of children's character through concrete efforts in the form of: madrasa routines, supervisory activities, adequate time allocation, qualified educators, and intense communication with parents of students.Keywords: living Qur’an, tahfidh and tahsin, the era of industry 4.0AbstrakEra industri 4.0 berdampak kepada seluruh aspek kehidupan, tidak terkecuali aspek pendidikan. Hal ini menjadikan para pemerhati pendidikan yang semula mengedepankan aspek kognitif dalam tujuan pendidikan, beralih kepada penguatan potensi dan karakter anak. Salah satu alternatif yang muncul yakni dengan mengkontekstualisasikan al-Qur’an sejak dini kepada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya kontekstualisasi al-Qur’an melalui pembelajaran program tahfidh dan tahsin yang diterapkan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Nurul Ummah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan latar kegiatan yaitu penerapan program tahfidh dan tahsin al-Qur’an di MI Nurul Ummah. Untuk mendapatkan data yang diperlukan berkenaan dengan fokus penelitian maka dilakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya living qur’an telah dilaksanakan di MI Nurul Ummah dan dipandang recommended sebagai model pendidikan dasar Islam di era industri 4.0, hal ini terlihat dari pengembangan dan penguatan karakter anak melalui upaya konkrit berupa: rutinitas madrasah, kegiatan pengawasan, alokasi waktu yang memadai, tenaga pendidik yang qualified, dan komunikasi intens dengan orangtua siswa.Kata kunci: living Qur’an, tahfidh dan tahsin, era industri 4.0

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the mathematical literacy ability of elementary school students by using field trip in mathematics learning. This research tried to find out the general description of field trip starting from planning, implementation and evaluation. The object of field trip is adjusted to the mathematical material so that it gives an effect on students' mathematical literacy. The mathematical material used in this study is rounding and scale. The research design used for the trial was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, by using n-gain test for data anlysis. Data collection is done through mathematical literacy tests and observations of student activities. The results showed an increase in mathematical literacy ability through the post-test and pretest. The first post-test obtained an increase of 54.48% and the second post-test 8.30%. The results of the N-Gain analysis showed the mathematical literacy ability of students in the rounding material and the scale increases from the first pretests of 0.7 and the second pretest of 0.77, of the two results indicate N-gain in the high category so that mathematics learning through the field trip can improve students' mathematical literacy effectively.Keywords: field trips, mathematical literacy, mathematics learning.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa Sekolah Dasar dengan menggunakan field trip pada pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk menemukan gambaran umum tentang implementasi field trip mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Lokasi field trip yang dituju disesuaikan dengan materi matematika, sehingga memberikan efek dalam literasi matematis siswa. Materi matematika yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah materi pembulatan dan skala. Desain penelitian yang digunakan untuk uji coba adalah one group pretest-posttest design, dengan analisis data menggunakan uji n-gain. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes literasi matematis dan pengamatan aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis dari hasil postes dan pretes. Postes pertama diperoleh peningkatan sebesar 54.48%, dan postes kedua 8.30%. Hasil analisis N-Gain menunjukkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi pembulatan dan skala meningkat dari pretes-postes pertama sebesar 0.7 dan pretes-postes kedua sebesar 0.77, dari kedua hasil tersebut menunjukkan N-gain pada kategori tinggi sehingga pembelajaran matematika melalui field trip untuk meningkatkan literasi matematis efektif dalam penerapannya.Kata kunci: field trip, literasi matematis, pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

AbstractThe development of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Elementary School curriculum has changed several times, from the KBK Curriculum to KTSP Curriculum, then to the 2013 Curriculum. However, the limited textbooks that are in accordance with the curriculum changes are obstacles to learning achievement, especially in Social Sciences course for elementary school teacher education. This study aims to develop a social science course textbook for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/elementary school teacher education with a 2013 curriculum-based concept approach that is appropriate for students taking Social Sciences Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/elementary school teacher education courses. This research uses a 4-D model with stages of Define, Design, Develop, and restrictions on Desseminate. The results showed that the development of concept approach based social science course textbooks for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/elementary school got a very decent category with a score of 81% from material experts, a decent category with a score of 80% from linguists, and a very decent category with a score of 87% from design experts. So it can be concluded that the textbooks for Social Sciences of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/elementary school teacher education using the 2013 curriculum-based concept are categorized as feasible.Keywords: concept approach, social studies education, development of textbooks.                                                                                                                 AbstrakPerkembangan kurikulum Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Sekolah Dasar telah beberapa kali mengalami perubahan, dari Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi ke Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan, kemudian ke Kurikulum 2013. Akan tetapi, terbatasnya buku ajar yang sesuai dengan perubahan kurikulum tersebut menjadi kendala terhadap tercapainya pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS MI/SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS MI/SD dengan pendekatan konsep berbasis kurikulum 2013 yang layak untuk mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS MI/SD. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model 4-D dengan tahapan Define, Design, Develop, dan pembatasan pada Desseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan buku ajar Pendidikan IPS MI/SD mendapatkan kategori sangat layak dengan skor 81% dari ahli materi, kategori layak dengan skor 80% dari ahli bahasa, dan kategori sangat layak dengan skor 87% dari ahli desain. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS MI/SD menggunakan konsep berbasis kurikulum 2013 dikategorikan layak.Kata Kunci: pendekatan konsep, pendidikan IPS, pengembangan buku ajar.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the necessity of having student books that suit to the 2013 curriculum objectives, the characteristics of elementary school students and the characteristics of learning outcomes. The study aims to develop valid, practical, and effective elementary school student books based on thinking actively in social context. Employing a 4-D research model (define, design, development and disseminate), the data were garnered using tests, questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. The data from tests and questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics whereas the triangulation was used to analyze the data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the developed student books met the valid criteria with a final score of 85.25% (very valid). It was found that the student books are easy to use, time-saving, and useful to implement in the classroom practices. It could also enhance student learning outcomes in terms of spiritual attitudes, social, knowledge and skills with a percentage increase of 15.35%. As those books are valid, practical, and effective; they can be used as a reference for the learning activities in elementary schools.Keywords: student books, 2013 curriculum, TASC, elementary schools.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya buku siswa yang selaras dengan tujuan kurikulum 2013, karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar, dan karakteristik hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku siswa kurikulum 2013 berbasis thinking actively in social context untuk sekolah dasar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Menggunakan model penelitian 4-D (define, design, development, disseminate), data dikumpulkan mealui tes, angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dari tes dan angket dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif sedangkan triangulasi digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang berasal dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku siswa yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid dengan skor akhir 85,25% (sangat valid). Buku siswa mudah digunakan, menghemat waktu, dan bermanfaat dalam implementasinya pada pembelajaran di kelas. Buku siswa juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar pada aspek sikap spiritual, sosial, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan persentase kenaikan sebesar 15,35%. Karena buku yang telah dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif, buku siswa tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai rujukan untuk kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: buku siswa, kurikulum 2013, TASC, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

AbstractOnly a few primary schools apply humanistic education. This could be viewed from the students’ moral decadence and the process of dehumanizing education. Even though there are some primary schools implement humanistic education,their application is not maximized.    The purpose of the research was to reveal in depth the efforts of Integrated Islamic primary school Sabilul Huda in maximizing humanistic education. This research is a case study of descriptive qualitative. The instruments of data collection are in-depth observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conduted conducted through collecting data, reducing data, displaying data, and conclusing data. The research results showed that Integrated Islamic primary school Sabilul Huda maximized humanistic education through applying the principles of humanistic education. It was indicated by the creation of learning conditions through the application of the principles of effective learning. Students contributed actively in finding and processing teaching materials. School viewed students as unique and intelligent individuals. The effort to maximize humanistic education has showed good result, if it was reviewed on academic and non-academic achievements, and students’ character. This is indicated by ideal academic scores, achievements in various competitions of interest,talents, and students' good behavior.Keywords: appreciation, uniqueness, joyful, achievement, moralityAbstrakTidak terlalu banyak sekolah dasar yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan humanistik. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari dekadensi moral para pelajar dan proses dehumanisasi pendidikan. Kalaupun ada, penerapannya belum maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap secara mendalam upaya SDIT Sabilul Huda dalam memaksimalkan pendidikan humanistik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif studi kasus. Instrumen pengumpulan data ialah observasi mendalam, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SDIT Sabilul Huda sudah berupaya memaksimalkan pendidikan humanistik melalui penciptaan kondisi belajar yang menerapkan prinsip-prinsip pendidikan humanistik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan penciptaan kondisi belajar melalui penerapan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran efektif. Siswa berkontribusi aktif dalam mencari dan mengolah materi ajar yang didapatkan. Sekolah memposisikan siswa sebagai individu yang unik dan anggapan bahwa setiap siswa adalah cerdas. Upaya memaksimalkan pendidikan humanistik sudah memperlihatkan hasil yang cukup baik pada sisi prestasi siswa baik akademik maupun non akademik serta karakter siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan skor akademik yang ideal, prestasi di berbagai lomba minat, bakat, dan perilaku baik siswa.Kata kunci: apresiasi, keunikan, suasana menyenangkan, prestasi, moral

Abstract

AbstractThis study was intended to describe the difficulties of first grade MI Al-Ikhwah Pontianak teachers in planning, implementing, and conducting assessments in thematic learning. This research adopts descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources of this study were first grade teachers and Head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Ikhwah. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that in the planning stage, teachers found difficulty in composing lesson plan which based on the conditions of the students. Besides, they also found difficulty in sorting out the basic competencies in the syllabus and lesson plans. At last, teachers found difficulty in preparing appropriate learning media for thematic learning. Meanwhile, at the implementation stage, the teacher found difficulties in adjusting the time allocation of learning instruction, difficult to facing the demands of completing one learning in one meeting, adjusting basic competencies with learning material in half a day, synergizing the delivery of objectives and activities as a whole with the allocation of time, and applying a scientific approach in learning. Whereas, at the teacher evaluation stage, it is difficult to use assessment instruments based on the condition of the students. Besides, the teachers found it difficult to adjust anecdotal notes with the assessment of the 2013 curriculum report cards. Therefore, the research findings should be used as an evaluation material for classroom teachers in applying thematic learning in classroom activities.Keywords: teacher difficulties, thematic learning, 2013 curriculum.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan guru kelas satu MI Al- Ikhwah Pontianak dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan melakukan penilaian dalam pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru kelas satu dan Kepala Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al- Ikhwah. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun RPP sesuai kondisi dan lingkungan peserta didik, guru sulit memilah kembali kompetensi dasar pada silabus dan RPP, dan guru sulit menyiapkan media pembelajaran yang tepat dalam pembelajaran tematik. Sementara itu, pada tahap pelaksanaan guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan alokasi waktu dengan pembelajaran, sulit menghadapi tuntutan penyelesaian satu pembelajaran dalam satu kali pertemuan, sulit menyesuaikan KD dengan materi pembelajaran dalam setengah hari, sulit mensinergikan penyampaian tujuan dan kegiatan secara keseluruhan dengan alokasi waktu, dan sulit mengaplikasikan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran.  Sedangkan pada tahap penilaian guru sulit menggunakan instrumen penilaian keterampilan dengan keadaan peserta didik dan guru sulit menyesuaikan catatan anecdot dengan penilaian pada raport kurikulum 2013. Abstract

AbstractA teacher's low self-efficacy causes a weak support of personality competencies for success in learning. This study aims to analyze self-efficacy and classroom management on the personality of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. The subjects of this study were 25 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in South Tangerang City, Banten Province who already have teaching certificates. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews. Meanwhile the research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, starting from data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The results showed that Madrasah Ibitidaiyah teachers in South Tangerang have a good competencies, i.e the percentage of good pedagogical competencies was in the range 50%-100%, 80%-100% for good personality competence, 68%-100 % for good social competence, and 96% -100% for good professional competence. Internal locus of control Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in the city of South Tangerang are in the very high, high and medium categories. While external locus of control is in the low category. This shows that the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers had the belief that they are able to face challenges and threats that come from the environment and the ability to solve problems with high confidence so that all problems can be overcome properly. Therefore, the development of teacher's self-efficacy should get more attention, because it is a factor that can support successful learningKeywords: self-efficacy, classroom management, teacher personality. AbstrakEfikasi diri seorang guru yang rendah menyebabkan lemahnya dukungan kompetensi kepribadian terhadap keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efikasi diri dan manajemen kelas terhadap kepribadian guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 25 guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kota Tangerang Selatan, Provinsi Banten yang sudah memiliki sertifikat mengajar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan wawancara. Sementara itu data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif, mulai dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru Madrasah Ibitidaiyah di Kota Tangerang Selatan memiliki kompetensi pedagogik yang baik, yakni prosentasenya antara 50%-100%, kompetensi kepribadian yang baik, prosentasenya antara 80%-100%, kompetensi sosial yang baik, prosentasenya antara 68%-100%, dan  kompetensi profesional yang baik pula, yakni prosentasenya antara 96%-100%. Locus of control internal guru madrasah ibtidaiyah di kota Tangerang Selatan berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi, tinggi, dan sedang. Sementara locus of control eksternal dalam kategori rendah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa guru madrasah ibtidaiyah memiliki keyakinan bahwa ia mampu menghadapi tantangan dan ancaman yang berasal dari lingkungan luar dan mampu menyelesaikan masalah dengan kepercayaan diri yang tinggi sehingga semua masalah dapat diatasi dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan efikasi diri guru harus mendapat perhatian yang lebih besar, karena merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mendukung keberhasilan proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: self-efficacy, manajemen kelas, kepribadian guru.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the improvement of elementary school students’ reading comprehension skills through blended learning. The population in this study was all fifth grade students of an international school in Serpong, Tangerang. Using a purposive sampling technique, in total 20 foreign students were involved as a sample in this study. Data were collected using tests and observations and then analyzed using the N-Gain test to see the improvement of students’ reading comprehension skills. Descriptive analysis was also performed to see students’ activities during the learning process. The results showed that the average students’ scores on pre-test and post-test increased by 28 points with an average gain of n-gain of 0.84 in a high category. During the learning process, students also looked happy and enthusiastic in learning Indonesian. Learning Indonesian through blended learning was shown to improve the reading comprehension skills of foreign students. Therefore, blended learning can be used an alternative for solving the problem of limited time and the amount of materials that must be learned, thus giving a positive impact on the reading comprehension skills of foreign students learning Indonesian.Keywords: blended learning, reading comprehension, Indonesian, foreign students. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran blended learning. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas lima suatu sekolah internasional di Serpong, Tangerang. Sementara itu, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 siswa asing. Metode pengumpulan data didasarkan pada tes dan observasi. Data hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain untuk melihat peningkatan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa dan analisis deskriptif untuk melihat aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pre-test dan post-test meningkat 28 poin dengan perolehan rata-rata n-gain sebesar 0,84 dengan kategori tinggi. Selain itu, selama proses pembelajaran siswa juga terlihat senang dan antusias dalam belajar bahasa Indonesia. Hal berarti bahwa pembelajaran dengan blended learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa asing dalam belajar bahasa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran dengan blended learning dapat menjadi alternatif dalam menjawab masalah terbatasnya waktu dan banyaknya materi yang harus dipelajari sehingga berdampak pada keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa asing dalam belajar bahasa Indonesia.Kata kunci: blended learning, pemahaman membaca, bahasa Indonesia, siswa asing.
