Abstract

E-Sport athletes need expertise, accuracy and high concentration in playing games and when competing, if i t is continuously for a long time and monotonously and supported by work attitudesand unsupportive environmental conditions, it will be one of the causes of work fatigue. A work accident in question is an accidents that occur in a work environment which can be caused by unfavorable working environmental conditions. One of the accidents that can occur is eye fatigue. Eye fatigue is asymptom of eye disorders caused by excessive efforts of eye fuction for a long period of time and is accompanied by abnormal vision. The purpose of this research is to determine the linkages lighting, duration of playing games with work attitudes with complaints of eyestrain on E-Sport athletes at the National Sports Week on NTT Province. Research from with a cross sectional method. The numbers of samples in this study is namely 50 E-Sport athletes by means of sampling that used Total Sampling. Result obtained through filling out questionnaires by E-Sport athletes. Analysis of the data used is univariate with bivariate and using Chi Square test. The results from this study obtaened, that the variables of lighting (p=0.015), duration of playing games (p=0.025) and work attitude (p=0.519) have a relationship with eye fatigue. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concludedthat the work attitude variable has no relationship with eye fatigue, while the lighting variable and the length of playing the game have a relationship with eye fatigue in E-Sport PON NTT athletes

Abstract

Treatment for cerebral palsy is mostly done through physical therapy, behavioural therapy, speech therapy, nutrition, drugs and surgical intervention, but not many uses therapeutic aids. This study aims to design therapeutic aids for children with cerebral palsy disabilities so that they can stand properly using the House of Quality (HOQ) and ergonomics methods. Attributes and specifications for designing therapeutic tools are carried out by observing, asking questions and distributing questionnaires to the companions of children with cerebral palsy. The results of the questionnaire processing provided very important attributes of therapeutic aids as customer requirements (CR), namely the sturdy retaining pole, comfortable to use, anti-slip, economical price and safe to use. The technical requirements (TR) that are prioritized in the development of this product are products that can be disassembled, foot and hand belts made of cloth, strong locking retratos, sturdy wheels and locks. The dimensions of this therapy tool use Indonesian anthropometric measurements for children aged 6-12 years. Dimensions and TR are poured into the design. The design results are then made into a standing frame therapy device which is also equipped with a table to place food and games. The standing frame has been tested and is expected to be used as a therapeutic aid for children with cerebral palsy.

Abstract

Walking is a simple means in the transportation system. A pedestrian who walks regularly will nourish his body. The activity of walking to or from a place for activities such as work or college can be done every day. Sports activities that do not feel done, but are good for the body. The activity of walking to work must have sufficient distance so that when you arrive at work your body is still fresh and not tired. The purpose of this study is to determine the ergonomic mileage for pedestrians who will carry out activities such as workers or students. The method used in this study uses quantitative methods using descriptive statistics. Data collection was carried out with primary data which was carried out on a sample of students and office workers. The sample will be asked to walk on a treadmill assuming an unimpeded walk on a pedestrian path and at a relatively constant speed. To find out how far the ergonomic distance can be taken by the respondent in normal conditions or not feeling tired, the mileage is calculated until the heart rate reaches 125 beats/minute which is the lower limit of heart rate for heavy workload classification. The results showed that the average ergonomic distance that can be achieved is 744.69 meters for students and 522 meters for workers. Research also shows that the distance traveled is influenced by age, weight, and exercise habits. The results of this ergonomic mileage can be used for designing building layouts, parking space distances, pedestrian paths, setting the distance for resting seats on pedestrian paths, and so on.

Abstract

Zada Hela Liveaboard is one of the tourist ships that serve shipping activities in East Nusa Tenggara, especially in the Labuan Bajo area. This ship is equipped with facilities that greatly pamper the passengers during their cruise activities. To be able to support and provide a sense of security and comfort to the passengers, good engine room watchkeeping activities are needed, but some shortcomings were found. The deficiencies in watchkeeping activities were then analyzed by observation and interviews with 6 respondents to make improvements. Improvement of engine room watchkeeping activities can finally be done by making a watchkeeping schedule, logbooks, and adding 3 assistant engineers. These items will be very helpful in checking and knowing the condition of the engine on the ship. The addition of 3 assistant engineers to assist the chief engineer is also very necessary. This is in accordance with STCW and to provide a longer rest time, so as to prevent fatigue when doing watchkeeping in the engine room.
